"I'm hungry" she mumbled in her sleep and I smiled. Of course.
"I'll go wash her up" he tells me and goes to the shower, whispering something to her about eating after a shower if she hasn't fallen asleep yet.
It took a while but he cleaned her up and took her to the bedroom. He came back a while later.
"Did you have fun?" I asked as he stood in front of me, covered in her essence and smelling like her. Seeing him like this started a small fire in my belly. He was always like this, wanting to be a damn brat.
"I did. You didn't?" He chuckled and leaned in, hands on my thigh. His eyes glowed with pride and the satisfaction that he was having his way.
I gripped his chin tight even as my cock throbbed.
"Don't ever do that again. Ever" I warned and he smirked, pulling back.
"You can't tell me that."
"Are you unaware of the relationship we're in? You and I, to her, are equal. I told you, I was tired of playing bad cop. It's no fun anymore" I remembered him asking for a reward for playing bad cop.
A chuckle escaped my lips and my gaze ran over his body. Goosebumps surfaced on his tanned skin.
I wasn't mad anymore. Fiore could always do that to me.
"So...what do you want?" If there is no one to play bad cop, how can I be the good guy?
A manipulative tactic, I am aware and one that I plan to never stop using.
Fiore is the only woman I've ever wanted. Even more than life itself. I'm not a good guy. I'm not very extroverted. I'm not the one who holds her warmly when we make love. So, I'd rather be the one she can come to. I'd rather be the one she can rely on until she cannot be without me.

Gianni's eyes widened like he wasn't expecting me to ask what he wanted.
"I don't want anything. Legally, she can only get married to one man. That man is gonna be me. There's no room for debate on that" he brushed his fingers through his hair and I raised a brow.
How childish. But thinking of it now, it doesn't seem so childish because it was pissing me off.
I loved Gianni but I've never wanted to strangle him more than I do right now.
"You must be out of your mind if you think that's gonna happen" I laughed, finally realizing what he was up to. He smirked and shrugged, turning around to walk towards the shower.
"This crazy bastard" I muttered to myself, wondering if I should get mad or just give in. I wanted to be her husband too. I wanted to be her first everything, a bit cheesy, isn't it?
I loved her too much.
However, I had ignored Gianni's feelings lately even when it was up to me to ensure that this relationship was smooth sailing.
I guess we'll just have to wait.
I stood up and walked into the shower, standing a few inches away from him.
We took a silent shower together and then we went to bed. Fiore had kicked off all the sheets and managed to tangle them around her legs. Gianni and I laughed as soon as we got to the bedroom.
She was truly the light of our life.
Gianni fixed the bed and I managed to wrestle her out of the mess she made. We climbed into bed and turned off the lights.
There was a long silence in the bedroom accompanied by Fiore's light snores but it wasn't awkward. Even in her sleep, she turned to bury herself in his arms.
"I'm not gonna be sorry. You always take stuff and moments from me... Just..." he trailed off and I could hear his deep and shaky breaths.
"Just let me have this chance-"
"Shut up and go to sleep" I snapped and inched closer to the girl who was sleeping peacefully, unaware of what she had caused and wrapped my arms around her.
Well...the thought was pissing me off but maybe making a compromise right now would be fair enough.
Besides, I needed to maintain the balance. To do that, a compromise would be fitting enough.
A smirk settled on my face at the thought and I buried my face in the crook of her neck, knowing my night was going to be absolutely blissful.
