Summary : Now that our couple is official and they have bonded in a very close way, it's time for some fluff. Please enjoy this non-canon chapter as well with fluff and bonding between the two.
For two days the Vongola kids rested. Sakura and Hibari spent very close time together as she explained the future to him along with the way to battle there. He was itching to get into a training session with her and spar with her with his Vongola ring. Sakura on the other hand wanted to spend more time with her new pet, Hibi and learn about his power as it seems he was an experiment for the Milliefore.
While Hibari and Sakura rested, they continued to stay close to one another. Hibari always kept an eye on her for she wasn't allowed to disappear for more than a day. Miki and Tetsuya often made comments about how the two of them seemed like the same Master and Mistress they served in the future and they couldn't help but wonder if this was their turning point in their relationship.
The thing that Sakura was most surprised about was the fact Kyoya became more affectionate towards her. He'd hold her hand or sit close to her. She was always within arms reach of him. He'd play with the edges of her hair when she was near. And whenever Miki got too close to her he would grab her and pull her to him. This possessive nature of his was for sure something Sakura wasn't expecting but nonetheless it always made her smile. The only thing that bothered the princess was the fact that Hibari still never said his feelings towards her. Only that he would show them and when she questioned him he brushed it off or walked away.
With things finally calmed down Miki joined them on the third morning for breakfast. "Sakura-sama, Kyoya-sama, do you want to see your homes 10 years in the future?" Sakura lit up. "You mean we can go see..." Miki nodded his head. "They are waiting for you, my lady." Sakura quickly looked over at Hibari who nodded his head agreeing to go.
The pair got dressed. Hibari in his school uniform and Sakura in a cloud kimono. Miki took them up to the surface where they first stopped at their future home. It was no surprise that Hibari eventually moved out of his childhood home and into Sakura's home and her business moved out. When they entered, Sakura was quite pleased to see her garden still flourishing after ten years.
Hibari on the other end was more concerned with the fact that this was the first time he had actually been past the gate; he walked inside. "Sakura don't wander far from me." he ordered her. She glanced back at him. "Then walk faster." she teased. He shook his head but did increase his speed. She walked up to the door and slid it open, happy to see there were some guest slippers waiting. They put them on before looking around the house. Hibari walked behind her as she gave him a tour and when the doors opened she was pleased to see their future selves didn't change anything. The dojo room, her kitchen, the living room. Dining room. Everything on the bottom floor was still the same.
The second floor was more interesting. They had set up a nursery and Sakura felt her face flush but Hibari glared at it. A child would mean three and that was a crowd. The office space was larger than her current one and it seems they took down a wall to make room for both of them to work. Sakura entered what should be her bedroom and noticed that the room didn't hold her four poster bed but instead a traditional Japanese room.
Sakura entered the room as did Hibari. He wasn't surprised to see they had merged rooms; he smiled seeing a couple of pictures of their future selves together. There was a mix of his items with hers on the dresser. There were four bookshelves filled with his and her books. Everything in the room seemed like a perfect blend of both of them. Sakura went over to the closet and her eyes widened. It wasn't her small walk in closet but instead a second room filled with his and her clothes.
He went over to the closet and his eyes widened as he couldn't believe his future self would keep so many clothes, even though they were all the same thing. "I can't believe this is the future." she said looking at her collection of heels. He scoffed. "Come on. We still need to meet your Yakuza." he told her, turning and heading out.
Miki had stayed outside the gate waiting for their return. He bowed to them both when they came out clearly done exploring. "I just talked to Kai-san. They are waiting for you." he assured her. Sakura got excited and looked at Hibari. He nodded his head at her encouraging her to go ahead and see her Yakuza. He on the other hand didn't do crowds and decided to head back to the hideout to see if he could Tetsuya to train him for a bit.
Sakura followed Miki all the way to the southern part of Namimori where they entered what looked like the industry area of Namimori. Miki opened a worn out glass door for her. Sakura entered first only to have her entire face, expression and eyes widened up. "Princess!" "Your highness!" "My lady!" several of them got up to greet her. "Guys!" tears fell as she ran over to them and hugged and touched as many of them as she could so thankful they were all okay.
Hibari on the other hand was supposed to return back to base but he ended up at Namichu. Without a second thought he entered his school and went straight to the roof to clear his head. So much had happened in the last couple of days he couldn't believe it. He ended up lying down and crossing his leg over as he looked at his Vongola box. Hibird sat on the tip of his foot.
He couldn't help but think about how Sakura had already been here and even trained with his future self and that other guy from her Yakuza. He had seen how strong she had become. He thought about her dinosaur and how she gave it such an awful nickname she used to use for him. Then there was the fact that he had her the morning he came there to the future. His ears started to burn. He had her. That meant she belonged to him now. He looked once more at his Vongola box.
"Those guys... are really in high spirits! Looks like there is no problem. I don't have to care about them right now." Hibari's thoughts were interrupted by a male voice of someone above him. He quickly pulled out his tonfas and got into his battle stance. "Wait. Wait Kyoya! Don't rush. I will train you properly." The bucking horse arrived.
Sakura spent time with her Yakuza longer than she expected but she was thankful for it because it increased her morale and she was looking forward to seeing Hibari since it had been a while. When she got back to the base, though, she was greatly disappointed. Hibari wasn't there. Miki walked in and looked around. "I guess Dino-sama met up with Hibari-sama." he commented. Sakura frowned. "Stupid horse." she muttered.
Miki chucked. "We should continue your training as well my lady in case you get summoned to the Choice battle as well." She looked up at him "And that entails?" He looked at her. "Riding a motorcycle using dying will flames." Sakura scoffed. "Let's begin."
Sakura knew how to ride a motorcycle. She was just a spoiled princess and always had someone to drive her everywhere. Then trying to sync her storm flames to make her machine go faster was a bit of a struggle. But with a little practice she mastered that as well.
The thought of joining the choice game interested her. She had seen Byakuran but he didn't have the same effect on her as Xanxus and Hibari... she couldn't sense if he really was all that powerful. Quickly she shook her head. If she was picked then she would need to rise to the occasion.
The rest of the day she spent her time playing and studying with Hibi. She had learned that if she put a lot of flames into the box Hibi would grow to his largest side which took up a quarter of the training room. With a smaller flame he would only grow to be as big as a plushie, a size she found cute. But at that smaller size she learned that if he ate flames he could convert them to his own and grow. Hibi did this by using the storm flames to break down the flames he ate then turned them into the Propagation attribute of cloud making him grow in size. He was a very interesting box but Sakura found him dangerous and to be used as a last resort. She lied in the training room as Hibi ran around looking for something to entertain him.
After a while, Hibi let out a small growl and ran towards the door of the training room. "Hibi?" Sakura called her pet and sat up. The door opened and Hibari was greeted by the dinosaur who was trying to bite his pants. He leaned down and picked it up. "Calm down." he ordered Hibi. Sakura got up and ran over to her dinosaur, taking it from him. But Hibi kept kicking and reaching for Hibari. "Sorry about that." she told him, putting Hibi away. Hibari shook his head.
She got a good look at him and frowned. "You're all beaten up." she commented checking him out. Hibari looked down at himself and shrugged to him; it didn't seem that bad to him. "I'm fine." he assured her and took her hand. She stared at him as he slightly tugged it so she's step closer to him. She took half a step before the whole base shook . They looked at one another before running out of the training room.
Kusakabe and Miki were both at the door that led to Tsunayoshi's side. "It came from over there." Miki assured them both. Sakura sighed but Hibari was annoyed and his nose twitched. "I'll go check it out." Sakura said. "Absolutely not." Hibari said. "Let them figure it out." he let out a yawn. He was tired from training but was spoiled having Sakura sleep with him for the past two nights."I'll let you know if anything happens, your highness." Miki assured her and bowed.
The princess allowed Hibari to pull her away from the door and back to their bedroom. He dragged her into the room with a glare aimed at her and he said, "Stay. I'm going to shower." he said then left the room and shut the door behind him.
Sakura giggled. It was cute to see Hibari acting so childish around her. She changed and got ready for bed. Hibari joined her shortly. Whatever happened with Tsunayoshi's side it wasn't important as neither of them were bothered the rest of the night.
Hibari sat up and glanced at what time it was. It was almost nine am. He glanced next to him to feel his arm asleep and a sleeping princess on his chest. His eyes softened as he moved carefully and quietly so as to not to wake her. A small groan came out of her as she rolled over and adjusted the blanket. He scoffed and yawned before he got up. He wouldn't mind spending all morning in bed with her but he needed to find that stupid horse to continue training.
He exited the room to be greeted by Kusakabe. "Breakfast is ready sir. I was about to wake you." he commented. Hibari shook his head. "Don't wake her. Let her sleep in." he said, glancing back at the door. He wanted her to rest as they had both been through a lot and the least he could do is let her sleep in. He headed to the kitchen to eat breakfast.
While Hibari was eating, Sakura joined them in the kitchen. "You woke up without me." she pouted as she yawned. "Good morning, your highness." Miki greeted her. "You're just as guilty Miki!" she shot at him. Kusakabe brought her a plate so she could sit next to Hbari. Hibari glanced at her then kept eating.
After they finished, Kusakabe announced, "After drinking with Romano last night we decided that Chairman and Sakura-sama will train together today." Sakura blinked, confused, and looked at Hibari. They were supposed to spar and fight together. "Make sure you use your dinosaur," Hibari warned her with a smirk. She flipped her hair over her shoulder. "Be prepared to lose Kyo. I've been fighting like this for a while now." she shot at him.
In the training room Sakura was finally wearing a crop top and hot shorts. Miki had been forced to go get them while the couple finished their breakfast. Hibari wasn't happy about her choice of clothing but he knew her and her fighting in those rags, meant she was serious.
She activated her storm boots. He summoned his cloud tonfas. "Ready?" he asked her. A smile graced her lips. "Only if you are." she got into her fighting position. "All boxes allowed, including your Vongola box and my dino." She created the rules. Hibari nodded his head in agreement. Kusakabe and Miki stood in the corner on standby.
The couple went at it. Sakura slammed her boot hard against his tonfa creating a decent crater below them. Hibari's eyes widened. He didn't expect that much power from her and pushed her off him, sending her flying. Sakura, having been used to this landing up in the air, walked what looked like invisible stairs back to the ground. Miki and Kusakabe were both surprised by this.
"This is the new way of fighting Kyo. You can send me flying but I can land anywhere." He narrowed his eyes at her as she took that last step back onto the ground. He didn't say anything as he charged at her his tonfas glowing brighter than before. Sakura met his attack by putting right leg up and having her shin meet his weapon. With a bit of flames she sent him flying back.
Although it was painful he launched Roll at her. The girl backflipped a couple of times before sending herself flying to avoid the attack completely but Roll curved around and kept coming at her. The girl ended up taking the hit but recovered quickly as she ducked below dodging Hibari's tonfa striking her. She kicked him in the gut, sending him across the room.
They continued like this for hours. Exchanging blows. It was clear Hibari was getting used to leveling out his flames. Sakura clearly was getting faster and it became clear that she started treating her Kyoya like Kyo-san. Hibari on the other hand was keeping up. The girl stayed on top of him keeping up with his attack. When she retreated to the air, he used Roll to create the same cloud steps to get to her.
They were sweating, their flames weaker than when they first started. Breathing heavy. Unwilling to back down from one another. It was clear they were both having fun. It was clear that in just a few hours they both greatly improved. Neither wanted to quit though.
Clapping began to fill the training room. Sakura and Hibari quickly turned their hostile energy towards whoever it was. "I think that's enough for you two." Miki said, walking over to them. "Take a breather and we will train some more after lunch," he suggested. "Fine." Hibari said bitterly as he put away his tonfas. Sakura let out a sign and put away her boots. It was an intense session.
After lunch, Sakura was lying on the floor of the training room while Hibari tried to open his Vongola box with no luck. "Why don't you try?" he asked her, throwing it at her. She sat up and caught it. "Because it's your box not mine." She reminded him. He glared at her. "You can use Roll. Why not this one?" She shook her head. "It's your box Kyo." she reminded him and threw it back. He continued trying to open it.
That night Sakura was in the bath, first relaxing as Hibi floated around the spring. A knock was heard and she got up to grab a towel only to see it was Hibari. "Do you mind if I take a quick shower?" he asked her. He looked even more sweaty than before. She leaned against the edge of the pool not allowing him to see anything despite him already seeing it before. "I don't mind but what happened?" "The horse stopped by." he shared as he started to get undressed. She quickly turned around and hid in the water as she heard him start the shower water.
The bathroom was silent except for the different sounds of Hibari's shower. She could hear when the water was touching his body and when it was hitting the floor. The girl couldn't help but blush as she listened. Before she knew it the water turned off. The girl wanted to turn around to check on him but she knew better. That's when she realized there was no more splashing. "Hibi?" she looked for her box pet. "Hibi?" she called him again looking around. Hibari came up from behind her and dropped the dinosaur into the pool in front of her. There was a towel around his waist. "Control him. " he warned her as he dropped it. The dino let out a small gao sound before Sakura grabbed him and covered as much as she could. Hibari scoffed at her actions. It wasn't like he hadn't seen everything already. "I'll see you in bed." he told her and headed out.
Sakura joined him in the bedroom a little while later, a blush still on her cheeks and pout tugging her lips. Hibari had to admit it was cute. "Hibi likes you and you need to accept that." she commented looking away from him as she got into the bed. Hibari ignored her remark as he pulled her close to him. His nose touched her neck. Sakura didn't say anything, already used to him holding her while they slept.
That's when he snaked his hand up to her neck, tilted her neck and bit her. The girl's eyes widened before a cry came out of her followed by a small moan. "Kyo..." she whispered. "Your old marks were fading." he commented, causing the girl to blush even brighter red. Even in the dark he could see her and found it cute. "Go to sleep." he told her, closing his eyes. She huffed but sure enough fell asleep with him.
A few days later they had an unexpected visitor. "Squalo-sama." Miki said glaring at the man. The man didn't like this guard but he had business with the Yakuza Princess. Sakura came out dressed in a pink kimono. "Squalo-san!" she said, surprised. He stood up and handed her a letter and tiara. "Bell and the stupid Boss wanted you to have these. Consider it Varia's greeting to you." he told her then left back to the otherside. Hibari went over and looked over her shoulder curious about the letter but when he saw Dino he patted the princess's head and took off.
Sakura put on the Tiara. She chuckled wearing it because it made her think of Bell in the past who surrendered his other tiara for her so Hibari wouldn't bite him to death. She opened the letter and was surprised by the message.
Dear Principessa Sakura,
Have you grown bored of your cloud guardian? You're always welcomed in the Varia if you need a break. I hope this letter is finding you well. It seems that the idiot from the Milliefore intends to have all the Vongola members fighting including you and the two other brats from the past. Be prepared to go to battle. If you need anything let me know.
Xanxus.
Sakura read the letter and smiled with a small scoff. "Everything okay, your highness?" Miki asked her. "Miki, what is my future relationship with Xanxus?" Miki frowned. "The Varia leader is fond of you, your highness. He enjoys making Kyoya-sama jealous. I'm not sure why but in the past you spent some time in Italy training with them." he shared. She chuckled because yeah, she could see herself doing that. She continued to eat her lunch since Hibari was busy with Dino now.
