Akshara is sitting in front of the mirror, oiling her hair. She is continuously thinking about today's events. She needs to tell her husband soon before things go out of hand. Her attention got shifted when Abhimanyu came back to the room. He smiled at her and went to change in his night clothes. After 10 minutes he came and sat on the bed with iPad in his hands.
"Abhi Aanu so gyi. Usne medicine aram se le li", asked Akshara. She closed the bottle of oil, braided her hair in two braids just like she always does and settled on the bed beside her husband.
"Haa, so gyi. Maine uski bandages bhi change kr di hai. Woh na bilkul tumpr gyi hai, badi muskhil se usey medicines khilayi hai", replied Abhi. He closed his iPad and put it on the side table to give his whole attention to her.
"Very funny. Jab woh kuch acha kre toh tumhari beti. Aur jab woh kuch bura kre ya nakhre dikhaye toh meri beti. You are such a hypocrite Dr. Abhimanyu Birla", said Akshara to her husband in a mocking tone. Abhi laughed listening to this. His wife's one-liners are best. She is totally savage.
"Acha, yeh sab chodo mujhe tumse kuch baat krni hai. I observed something today. I want to share it with you, please keep an open mind", said Akshu cautiously. Both of them settled on the bed, looking at each other. Abhi nudged her to start.
"Abhi, I think Abhir is really hurt today. You promised him; to attend his match but you didn't go to the match. He is really upset with you", said Akshara.
"I know Akshu, I have promised him. Par tum bhi toh janti ho na Aanu ko kitni jayada chot lag gyi thi, main usey aisey chod ke kaise match main jata. Agar main chala bhi jata toh bhi I won't be able to concentrate on it. Mera dhyan Aanu pr hi rehta", said Abhi. He didn't understand why his son was upset. It's not like he deliberately broke his promise. It was the circumstances that led him to miss the match.
"I understand Abhi. Mujhe pta hai you didn't do anything deliberately. But Abhir doesn't know this. Woh abhi bacha hain. Usko jo dikhega, he will react to it only. He won't be able to understand this Abhi. Usey toh yeh lga hoga na you have chosen Aanu over him", Akshu tried to explain Abhir's situation to Abhi.
"Aisa kuch nhi Akshu, why do you think Abhir is upset? Usney tumse kuch kha kya", asked Abhi. He wants to know why his wife thinks like that.
"Abhi usney mujhse kuch nhi kha pr tumne dekha nhi, he avoids you and Aanu. He didn't ask about her health also. He avoids talking to you. Arey usney to aaj hum sab ke sath mil kar dinner bhi nhi kiya", said Akshara.
"Akshu aisa kuch nhi hai. Tum bekar mai hi yeh sab soch rhi hoo. He is really tired that's why he didn't come to the dinner", said Abhi but unconvincingly. He also finds this behaviour of his son odd but doesn't want to say it aloud.
"No Abhi it's not my baseless assumption. I have noticed his behaviour very cautiously. Abhi, he has been behaving like this for some time. Usney ek do baar yeh bola bhi hain papa toh humesha Aanu ki hi side lete hain. She is his favourite. At that time, we didn't give much thought to it. But I think uske dimag main yeh baat bethti jaa rhi hai ki you love Aanu more than him", Akshu tell Abhi about her observations.
"Akshu yr aisa kuch nhi hai. Usney yeh sab mazak mai kha tha. He didn't mean it. Aur yeh baat toh tumhe bhi pta hain na, I love both of them equally. They are my kids, how can I differentiate between them", said Abhi. He is shocked to hear this from Akshara. It's abominable for him to think that he differentiates between his children.
Akshu sighed. Abhi is not understanding her point of view. She knows that Abhi loves both of his kids equally. But kids' mind doesn't work like adults. They only understand things that they see or believe. She needs to use different tactics to explain it to her husband.
"I know Abhi ki tum bachon main differentiate nhi krte. But bache abhi bahut chote hain. Unhe deep batein samjh nhi ati. They only believe what they saw. Woh uske peeche ke intentions nhi samjh patein hai. Our every activity impacts their minds", Akshu tried to explain it to him.
"Acha think like that. You are a 12-year-old kid. This is the first time you have become the captain of your school football team. During your first captaincy only you have reached the playoffs that too against a very strong team. You want to showcase your skills, in front of your hero. To the person you admire most, to the person who taught you to play the very game itself. Agar woh tumhare is tournament main ek bhi baar na aye toh how would you feel", said Akshara. She tries to put Abhi in Abhir's shoes. She wants him to look at things through Abhir's lenses.
Abhi now understands whatever Akshara is saying. Did he unintentionally avoid his son? It's true he didn't attend any of his matches but he asked about them, even giving tips repeatedly to him regarding the matches. He was so happy when his son became the captain of his football team. He even bought new sneakers for him.
"I know Abhi you didn't do anything intentionally. But it's true that miss all of his matches. You have attended Aanu's dance performance in school. I know you are free that day. Par woh bacha to yhi samjega na that you didn't love him as you do to Aanu. You can attend Aanu's small performance but not his big match. Abhi main nhi chahti ki uske man main yeh baat bas jaye. Woh bahut chota hai. Isey uske aur Aanu ke along with tumharey aur uske rishton main bhi gap aa jayega", said Akshara. She put everything in the open in front of her husband.
Abhi finally realizes whatever Akshara is trying to tell him. He thought about his previous interactions with Abhir. Day by day his conversation with Abhir is getting shorter. Abhir doesn't share everything with him just like he does previously. He doesn't interact with Anaira much also. He is cordial with everyone but he is open with Akshara only. He also shares his PJ's with Akshara only now. He is a doctor for god sake. How can he miss this changed behaviour of his own son?
"You are right Akshu. I am sorry Maine inn batoin pr dhyan nhi diya. But Abhir's behaviour is changing for sure. Woh ab humarey sath itna ghulta milta nhi hain. Woh bas apne friends mai, iPad main, padai or football main hi busy rehta hain. Aaj subah bhi breakfast table par I have to start a conversation with him. Pehle toh uske pass kitni batein hoti thi mujhe batane ke liye", said Abhi. He is memorizing the past behaviour of his kid that he subtly ignored.
"Yes, you are right Abhi. His behaviour is changing particularly towards you and Anaira. Abhi I don't want bachon ke beech main koi difference aye, we have to solve this matter urgently. This is just the starting, agar kuch dino aur aisa hi chalta rha toh it will be a very difficult situation for us", said Akshu.
"Humey kya krna chahiye Akshu is situation main", asked Abhi. He is totally clueless about what to do next.
"Sabse pehle toh start spending some more time with him. Talk to him, Abhi. Uske daily routine main tum ache tarah se involve ho jao. Drop the kids off to school. Apne schedule se kuch time nikalo bachon ke liye. Abhir is interested in medicine. Talk to him regarding your daily schedule, and the patients you have treated. Involve him in your routine also. Tum pehle bhi toh aisa hi krte the na. It's just that due to your busy schedule and Abhir's increased study load, you have stopped doing that", tells Akshara whatever she feels is the solution to solve this problem.
"I will try to take the kids to the park in the evening. Dono bachon ko ek sath activities karvaoongi. Hum dono apne kaam itna busy ho gye that we have stopped looking after the kids. This is a very crucial time for them. Abhir will be a teenager in some months. Uske hormones main changes ayenge, for this he needs you with him. Anaira aur Abhir ka relationship bhi ek crucial stage pr hain. Agar abhi un dono main differences aa gye toh it will be very difficult for us to solve. I want both of them to be close to each other", said Akshara.
"You are right baby. Due to our workload, we have stopped looking after our kids. Their relationship is getting affected because of this. But not anymore. Jo bhi tumne kha I will follow this. We will do everything to make it right. Hum apne Abhir aur Anaira main kabhi differences nhi ane denge. They will always be together. They are Abhira's kids. Abhira ki tarah woh bhi humesha sath rahenge. They will be each other's strength. Ek doosre se alag nhi, ek doosre ke sath rahenge humesha. Aur, Abhir will always be my best buddy. Main kisi ko apne Junior ko khudse dur nhi jane doonga. Khud Junior bhi try kre tabhi bhi nahi jane doonga", said Abhi with determination. He will again become his son's best buddy.
Akshara smiled at her husband. Abhi can do anything if he is determined, just like her son. Both are the pods of the same pea. Too similar to each other. Sometimes they don't even realize how similar they are. But Akshara is happy at least she is able to make her husband aware of the situation they are facing. Together they will make everything right. Everything will be alright in their world again.
Akshara kissed his cheek. Abhi caressed her cheek and very tenderly kissed her forehead. He whispered a thank you to her, to make him aware of things timely. They will together solve this problem and get out of this situation happily with their kids. Both of them slept in each other's arms thinking about the new day in their lives.

A/N Hi guys, I hope this shot didn't get too boring for you. I want Abhira to have proper communication in this shot as any real parents would do. I have tried to keep this as realistic as possible. I hope you guys will like it.
Anyway, I have a question. I have two options either to end this plot in the next shot itself or you guys want a more dramatic situation. A more dramatic plot would need two or more shots. That will lead to continuing the plot for some shots. Both the plots will have happy ending for sure. Tell me your honest opinion about what you want. option 1 or option 2.
