"Well, you're retired. What do they expect?"
"I don't know."
"Don't feel bad for setting boundaries. You said no and that means no. They can't keep calling you like this."
"I know you're right, but still."
He kissed me.
"You have a good heart. That's why I love you."
After we were done, we got out and got dressed.
"I love you. I'll see you at dinner."
He kissed me and I kissed him back.
"DADA!"
"Oh, seems like someone is up." I smiled and Ghost grinned.
We walked to the nursery and Starla was looking at us tiredly while Cosmos cried. Kiara laughed and jumped while holding the rails if her crib.
I picked up Cosmos while Simon picked up Kiara who cheered.
I changed his diaper and calmed him down.
"Ah!" I looked at Starla who was squirming in her crib.
I gave her my hand and she calmed down.
"Sometimes you just want a little attention, huh?" I smiled and she stared at me.
"My baby." I smiled.
"Ma!"
I looked down at Kiara who was hugging my leg.
"My other baby." I smiled and ruffled her black hair.
She giggled and hugged my leg tightly.
Simon took Cosmos from me and kissed his head.
Cosmos held on to his shirt and I picked up Starla.
She yawned and I bounced her gently.
Kiara screamed and began to cry.
I crouched down and she quieted down.
"Look. It's your baby sister." I smiled.
"Baba sista..."
"Yeah, baby sister. Wanna give her a kiss?"
She nodded and I moved Starla up.
"Muah!"
"Good job! You're a great big sister!"
"Ehehe!" She giggled and I got up to change both their diapers.
After Simon said goodbye to all of us, he put on his mask and left. Poor Kiara cried for an hour after he left.
Poor baby.
I fixed the house, making sure we were ready for guests.
I should have taken the mission.
They need me.
But my family also needs me.
I sighed and fed the twins, read them a book and put them to bed.
I glanced at the clock and decided it was time to make the steaks.
I made some potatoes on the side and and veggies.
Just as I finished, I heard the door open and loud chatter filled my ears.
I smiled and turned off my playlist playing Dixon Dallas and the stove, the. I walked over to greet them.
"Hey, YN!" Gaz smiled and I waved.
"Hello, YN." Price nodded.
I hugged Simon as he pulled his mask off.
We kissed and Kiara screamed for attention.
"I'm coming, I'm coming. Relax, crazy head."
He gave me three more kisses then let go of me.
He scooped Kiara out of her play pen and Soap hurried over to play peekaboo with her.
I giggled and turned to Gaz and Price who were putting their coats on the rack.
"Dinner's ready. I hope you guys are hungry."
"Oh, starved!" Gaz smiled and walked past me to the kitchen.
I heard him open a beer.
"You're gonna spoil your dinner!" I chided playfully and he laughed.
"We just passed by the base to shower and change, but the mission made us hungry." Price said following me to the kitchen where Gaz was eating roasted potatoes out of the pan.
"Kyle Garrick!" I laughed.
"I'm hungry!"
"Then let me serve you a plate!"
"I'll help." Gaz grabbed some plates and we both began chit chatting as we served the food.
They all like their steaks cooked differently so I had to remember the order I put them in.
Simon and Johnny walked in with Kiara and Simon put her in her high chair.
"Everything looks delicious, YN!" Soap grabbed some beers for everyone except for Kiara and I.
Simon walked over and grabbed a little plate and served a few potatoes and veggies for our first born.
I kissed his cheek on tiptoes and he kissed my lips.
Price came down and sat with both the twins.
Budge flew over and sat on my head.
I giggled and sat down.
I looked around. This is my family.
My big loving family.
They're stupid, but I love them.
