<Regulus>
The weather was great today, the sun shined through eliminating the water, Carmen and I agreed to meet by the black lake to talk more specifically about our secret agreement and maybe set a few rules.
I saw her lying on the grass, hands raised with a book hovering over her face and a basket beside her, she was wearing a creme sweater with blue jeans and a pair of doc martens, and when she saw me she hastily fixed her posture so that she was sitting cross legged infront of me
"Good morning" she said as she watched me take off my coat and sit facing her
"Good morning" I said back eyeing the brown basket that was half open, she traced my eyeline till she reached the basket and quickly asked me if i want one
"Want one of what?" I asked
"Strawberries!" She beamed opening the basket to reveal a ton of strawberries
"aaaannnd for a better taste" she said opening a small container which contained melted chocolate "chocolate!"
"okay" I laughed at her childish acts
"eat" she ordered and when I shook my head no she repeated it again more sternly this time,
So I did, I watched her as she took one of the strawberries and dipped it in dark chocolate humming in approval as she swallowed it, I mimicked her moves and surprisingly it was as good as she reacted
"This is really good" I was amazed by this creation, how come I had never tried this before
"I know!" She squealed "I tried dipping every fruit in chocolate but yet nothing compares to this"
"You tried dipping every fruit in chocolate?" I repeated, surprise clear on my face
"mhm" she nodded while trying to chew the rather large bite she took "I even tried watermelon" she added and I immediately grimaced shaking my head in disgust
"Yeah, not good" she confirmed laughing slightly as she watched my expression
She was in a very good mood today, which is quite surprisingly because from outside that girl seemed to be arrogant and grumpy but once you get to know her, It's completely the opposite
I shouldn't be thinking this way
"Regulus are you listening to me?" She waved a hand infront of me catching me off guard, the way that she said my name created a weird feeling at the pit of my stomach, very weird
Even though she spoke English fluently she still had an extraordinary accent, it was a mix of British and French which was rather odd but it suited her unique self.
"Yes?"
"I said we need to set a few rules" she tugged at the sleeves of her sweater seemingly cold and I was quick to mutter a heating spell to warm us both
"Thanks" she smiled, genuinely smiled and I shouldn't have been faze like that but the girl had no idea what she was doing to me
'No!' A voice screamed inside of me 'don't let her in! Never trust her' The voice repeated annoyingly
"Continue" I said shaking off the thoughts
"So obviously we need to kiss" she started with tinted cheeks and I too felt the heat rise to my face
I blamed it on the charm.
"But we don't have to do it often, infact we don't have to do it at all not unless we're occupied by them" she said referring to our families
I pretended to consider it for a moment before replying
"Fine by me"
"Any other requests?" I said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes at me "no"
"All of this is crap" I huffed watching as she scrunched her nose in confusion
"What?"
"This isn't going to work, setting up rules won't garauntee us anything" I added
"You're right" she admitted nodding slowly "so what do we do?"
She was sitting right there infront of me, I felt it was the right thing to do "We do it properly" I said and in a matter of seconds my lips were on hers kissing her gently, she stood motionlessly at first then she began moving her lips too,
The kiss was slow but surely enough we worked out a pace as we both moved in rythem
I ignored how dizzy I felt or how my heart beats fastened abnormally when she threw her hands behind my neck and let them rest there
She pulled back with a gasp "This was my first kiss" realization and confusion flared through her
"Mine too" I said and watched as this confession brought her a sense of comfort but me? Accomplishment filled my insides as a bit of pride controlled me, I smirked to myself
This is one hell of a deal, huh?
