Tommy's pov:
We all woke up the lights after our dates, I smiled at Lauren and kissed her before getting up and both of us headed to get ready for the day. I walked outside to the kitchen and made an iced coffee for Lauren before making a regular one for me.
I finished it just in time as Lauren walked out talking with Amber and Belle before coming into the kitchen with me.
She joined me in the kitchen wearing a purple bikini that was ruffled at the top. All of a sudden Maura and Curtis started screaming as we all rushed over to see a message with a photo of both of their families before the people in the photo walked in.
We all watched and smiled as Curtis and Maura immediately went to hug their family. We walked over to join them as Lauren was immediately hugged by Maura's family. We all smiled as they went off to speak to their families separately as the rest of us headed to the day beds. A while later, we all said goodbye to Maura and Curtis's family before another family walked in which was Ovie and India's.
Lauren looked on with me as they reunited and smiled before greeting them all. Again they separated with India going on the bean bags with her family and Ovie heading to the snug bit with his family.
I can't wait to see my family and meet Lauren's. Partially, because I am homesick along with missing my brother and my parents.
We all said goodbye to Ovie and India's family before they joined us by the day beds talking before Lauren turned to the hallway as she picked up her water bottle before she screamed and immediately ran to meet her brother and Olivia who both crushed her into a hug. I gave a hug to my mother and my brother as I was holding back the tears.
To see my brother who has always been close to me and my mom who is one of my favorite people in the world walk in was absolutely amazing and I could feel myself tearing up.
Lauren hugged Tyson and my mum as I hugged Olivia before being surprised with a hug from Alex and then heading to the day bed with my family. My mother looked at me "seeing you on the tv screen every week was crazy but we're all proud of you."
I smiled as my brother spoke "and you picked a nice girl as well."
"Honestly, I've been living with her every minute of the day for the past two months and I can honestly say that she is unbelievable."
"You're so well suited," both my mother and my brother spoke as I broke out in smiles before I hid my face.
Yeah, so far I'm happy with seeing my mum and my brother as they both seem to approve of my relationship with Lauren.

Lauren's pov:
I had headed down to the couch with my brother and my sister-in-law who I honestly still couldn't quite believe were here. We sat down and Alex looked at me "you've done really well Lauren and you've made us so proud in here."
"Really?"
Olivia nodded from the other side of me, "and you seem to have found someone who adores you for you, That boy looks at you like you are the entire world."
Alex spoke then "I did feel really bad about the tweet challenge. I mean just seeing you freak out like that and knowing that I was the cause sucked."
"I know," I turned to look at him. "The only reason that I was freaking out sort of was because you were seeing everything including beach hut and private conversations so I was wondering if you'd seen something that I wasn't."
"No," Alex immediately reassured. "You were right with the guess you gave. The tweet was in the context of the Maura situation and a little bit of my over-protectiveness coming out." I nodded at that before Tommy called us over to the day beds.
I knew at the beginning and I know now that the tweet was nothing to worry about but actually hearing it from Alex that it was just in the context of the Maura situation felt good.
We walked over to the day beds together before sitting down across from him and his family. We watched as my brother and Tommy just started talking about working out and I laughed knowing that they were going to get along just fine considering that they could talk for hours about it.
I mean my family seems to be getting along great with Tommy's family and they definitely like Tommy so I can't wait for more parts of our families to meet.
Tommy: I couldn't have asked for this meeting to go any better. I mean my mother and brother like Lauren. Her brother and sister like me and our families like each other so it's just kind of gone perfect.
All too soon we had to say goodbye but it was definitely easier of a goodbye than when I first came in as I knew that I would see them soon. I jumped into Tommy's arms as I cried into his shoulder just so overwhelmed as he headed to the day bed where we joined Maura and Curtis.
Next was Greg and Amber's families which made all of us smile again as they ran to them. They talked together before we all hugged them goodbye and then got no break before we were joined by Anton and Belle's family.
We watched as Anton actually jumped over the day bed back to go hug his mom and his uncle as Belle ran to her family. We all saw their parents off before heading to get ready for the night. All in all, it was a great day.
I took a shower and got dressed in an olive green dress with matching heels before putting my hair up in a slick back high ponytail.
Tommy poured me a glass of wine just as Caroline walked into the villa and spoke "please can we gather around the fire pit." I hugged Curtis and Maura before grabbing Tommy's hand as we sat at the fire pit. Caroline faced us "islanders, last night you all secretly voted for the couple you think should be dumped from the island. Your votes have put three couples at risk. Which means two couples are definitely safe and through to the Love Island finals."
Tommy looked at me and whispered, "I love you."
"I love you too," I whispered back as we stood up. Tommy wrapped his arm around my waist.
Caroline sighed "the first couple safe and through to the final is... Amber and Greg." We all clapped as they sat down and Caroline continued "the second couple safe and in the final is... Lauren and Tommy." I smiled and we sat down before Tommy kissed me and Caroline again continued "that means Maura and Curtis, Belle and Anton, and India and Ovie. You are all at risk of being dumped tonight. However, only one couple will be going home. The public have been voting for the couple they want to save. The two couples with the most votes will join the other two safe couples in the final. The couple with the fewest votes will be dumped tonight. The first couple saved by the public is... India and Ovie." We all clapped for them "the final couple saved by the public is... Maura and Curtis."
We all cheered for them as they hugged each other in disbelief before Caroline left. All of us then stood up and hugged Anton and Belle before heading to help them pack and then seeing them out the door.
To see Anton and Belle leave sucks. Anton is basically part of the furniture he's been here so long and Belle she's one of my best friends in here and I can't wait to see them again.
All of us remaining headed back to the fire pit and toasted to the fact that we had done it. We had made it to the final and we just spent the rest of the night goofing off and having fun.
