*Recording Little Things*
"Alright, we have a little surprise for you." Paul said, passing out the lyrics to our new song.
"Little Things," Louis snickered, laughing at, what he thought, was a sexual song.
"What's the surprise?" I asked, leaning back into Harry's chest.
"Come on in, Ed." My redhead best friend walked through the door. "Hey guys!"
"Ed!" We all shouted, running in for a group hug.
"Did you write this song, man? It's really good." Zayn flipped through the multi-paged packet.
"I just about four years ago, but I never really thought that I could sell it so I'm giving it to you guys." Ed shrugged taking a seat on the black couch.
He grabbed his guitar and started strumming the melody of the song.
Me and the boys joined in singing.
When Harry's part came, he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind and sang softly in my ear. "You're perfect to me."
The song itself was already making me emotional, so the romantic singing by my crush Harry was not helping.
By the end of the song, I was in tears.
"Is everything okay, Ariana? Was it that bad?" Ed asked me, jumping up from the sofa.
"No, no. That song is... just wow. Ed, it's really, really good." I reassured him.
He let out a sigh of relief. "I thought you didn't like it because I honestly thought you would."
"I love it. Thank you so much for letting us sing it on our new album." I thanked him.
The seven of us all joined in the greatest group hug in music history.
*Recording Rock Me*
"Finally! A song about sex!" I shouted, reading the title of the new track.
"Yes it is. But you and Harry especially must promise no inappropriate lyric changes when performing this song, got it?" Paul said, eyeing me and the curly head weirdo.
"Got it." I replied, crossing my fingers behind my back.
"Well, hopefully their parents will see the title of the song and forbid the little kiddies from listening to this wonderful, wonderful song." Louis said, wrapping an arm around the Bradford boy's shoulder.
"Ooh! Louis and Zayn are gonna get it in tonight!" I teased, intimidating Louis's voice from before.
"Ha, you're oh so funny, Harry's girlfriend." Louis fired back at me, knowing that I hate it when I'm getting referred to as "Harry's girlfriend."
I fake pouted and crossed my arms across my chest. "I am too funny."
This was a common game you and Louis played, bashing each other, jokingly of course. Harry hated it.
Joking or not, he got protective of me.
"Alright, that's enough you two." He said, pulling me back to sit down next to him.
"We were just playing, Haz." I whined.
"I know. But we have a song to record!" He singsonged, marching off to the recording booth.
*Recording C'mon, C'mon*
"Okay Louis, your turn." Paul said, ushering him into the recording booth.
I wasn't really paying attention to his singing. I just had to memorize my own lyrics, too.
"Yeah, I've been watching you all night, there's something in your eyes..." I quietly sang to myself.
I stopped when I heard the angelic voice of Louis echo through the speakers.
He sounded so sexy.
"Wow..." I mumbled.
"What?" Niall asked me, looking up from his lyric sheet.
"Louis sounds so hot." I replied to him, not taking my eyes off of him.
"How does someone sound hot?" Niall asked.
"I don't know, Niall. He just does, now shush." I waved him off, focusing on Louis.
Niall shrugged and went back to his papers.
"Lou, you sounded fantastic." I mused, when he came and sat next to me.
"Thanks, love." He replied like he normally did whenever I complimented him.
"No Lou, I mean your voice sounded like sex." His head snapped in my direction. "Sex? Really?" I bit my lip and nodded my head. "Maybe even better."
"Alright, what has gotten into you today?" He said, turning his body.
I didn't say anything.
"Not that I'm complaining at all. I kinda like it." He finished, pulling you into his chest and kissing the top of my head.
I giggled into his chest.
"Quit it you two. Every time I walk into a room, you're always on top of each other." Harry huffed, disgusted by mine and Louis's constant PDA.
"Oh Harry, you're just jealous that Ariana doesn't like you." Louis teased him.
"Ariana does like me, right Ariana?" He asked, looking at me.
"Harry, you're next." Paul said, pointing to the booth.
"Saved by the Paul." I joked.
*Recording for Heart Attack*
"Come on, Niall." Paul pleaded.
"Nope. No, Paul. I am putting my foot down. I'm sorry but I refuse to sing this song unless I do the 'ow' part with Ariana." I heard Niall, crossing his arms.
"Paul, you better let him do it. He's putting his foot down." I warned him, knowing Niall will do absolutely anything.
"Bloody hell." Paul muttered under his breath.
"Fine, you can sing the 'ow' part with Ariana." He caved.
"Yes!"
"I'll show you how the machine works." I said, grabbing Niall's hand and running over to the large, silver thing in the corner of the recording booth.
The other four boys piled into the booth with me and Paul clicked on the studio light.
"Ariana and Niall, when I point to you, you know what to do." Paul's voice said over the intercom. Both me and Niall gave him a thumbs up.
"Ready, Ari?" Niall asks me, giving me a quick good luck kiss on the cheek.
"Ready." I smiled at him, placing the headphones on my head.
I moved my hips to the beat of the song when Paul pointed at me.
Both of us nailed our part perfectly.
By the end of the song, both and Niall were laughing hysterically.
"We contributed so much to this song." I laughed.
"Amen to that." Niall said, high-fiving me.
"Weirdest couple ever." Harry mumbled, shaking his head at our crazy antics.
*Recording for They Don't Know About Us*
"Hey love." Harry said, greeting me with a kiss on my cheek.
"Hi." I replied, looking back over the lyrics.
"Whatcha doing?" "Reading over the new song." I replied, subconsciously, not bothering to look at him.
"Let me see it." I handed Harry the paper and laid my head on his shoulder, reading the lyrics with him.
Each of us would take turns softly singing a line.
"This is going to be my favorite song." He said once we finished.
"Why?"
"Because it reminds me of us. Nobody knows what happens in our relationship except me and you." He said, drawing shapes on my hand lightly with his thumb.
I could feel my heart melting. "Aw, babe. That's so cute." Harry pulled me in for a kiss.
"Barf!" I heard four voices say in unison.
Harry groaned, pulling away from me. "Way to ruin a moment, assholes."
"Oh zip it, babe." Louis mocked him by using my generic nickname for Harry.
I giggled at their banter.
"You think this is funny?" Harry asked, obviously faking his shocked expression.
I nodded.
"They are mocking my masculinity." He pouted.
"Oh, you poor baby."
"Can we just record this song and go home, so these two can just get on with their odd relationship." Niall complained.
Harry and I rolled our eyes and followed our bandmates into the recording booth.
