Cut to the evil lair with Minion, who is holding coffee and donuts and the bad guys were there.
"You want to do what?" Wolf howled.
" Create a hero? Wait, wait...what? Why would you do that?"
"That's a good question" shark says, "why?"
"So I have someone to fight! Minion, I'm a villain without a hero. A yin with no yang. A bullfighter with no bull to fight. In other words, I have no purpose! Now, ask me how I'm going to do it. Go on! Ask!"
" How are you gonna do it?"
Wolf shook his head, crossed his arms and smiled as megamind throws the donuts in the air.
"I knew you would listen to me"
And when donuts fell, piranha looks up at them and they scattered around him.
"Hahaha! I'm going to give someone, I don't know who yet, Metro Man's powers. I'm going to train that someone to become Metrocity's new hero"
Piranha starts picking up the donuts, "Over here, follow!"
"Well it's official, he's lost it" snake says.

"And then finally, I'm going to fight that hero in an epic battle of good and evil, which will put everything back the way it was, when the world was perfect and rosy!"
"Megamind, I know things been slow, but how are you going to do that, it's not like you can raise Metro man from the dead" wolf says.
"Well, Behold, your guys, Metro Man's cape! Look closely"
"All I see white stuff" webs says
"Minion, look closer, Tell me what do you see"
"Uh...Dandruff?"
"Ha...ha...yes! It's his DNA!"
"Oh" the bad guys says and when piranha joins them, he eats the donuts.
"From this, we'll extract the source of Metro Man's awesome power" the bad guys stand back as megamind starts extracting Metro Man's essence.
"Sir, I think this is a bad idea"
"I agree with minion" piranha says.
"Yes, this is a very wickedly bad idea for the greater good of bad!"
"No you don't get it" wolf says.
"Yeah" webs says.
"But I'm saying this is a kind of bad that, okay, you might think it's good in your "bad" perception, but from a "good" perception, it...it...it's just plain bad!"
"Minion has a point" wolf says, "every time you try a plan, they always end up in a catastrophe and backfires"
"Oh, you don't know what's good for bad! And wolf, those were just minor set backs"
"Minor setbacks have consequences" wolf says.
Megamind loads the essence bullet into an infuser gun.
"Now, we have just one shot at this. We must find a suitable subject. Someone of noble heart and mind, who puts the welfare of others above their own"
then suddenly a tune from a cell phone goes off.
"What on earth is that?"
Piranha Looks down at his pants, "it's coming from down there"
"It seems to be emanating from there, sir"
Piranha pulls out the cell phone from his back pocket and hands it to him, he answers it.
"Ollo?"
"Hello!" Everyone corrected.
"Um, it's 'hello'"
"Oh. Hello? Like that?"
"Yeah" snake says.
"There you go" shark says.
"He's still has trouble" piranha asked minion.
"Yep"
"Where did he get a cellphone?" Webs asked.
"I Don't know" wolf shrugged his shoulders.
Then Roxanne's voice comes through the cell phone.
"Bernard, it's Roxanne"
"It's Roxanne!"
Everyone whispered and panicked, "Roxanne?" Wolf whispered.
"The reporter?" Shark asked.
"Well that's great" snake says sarcastically.
"How did you even get her phone number" webs asked.
"And doesn't she hate you?" Piranha asked.
"I just want to thank you for inspiring me the other day"
" Oh! You "inspired" me too"
"Ugh" snake gagged and wolf rolled his eyes, the others were annoyed too.
"Great. It's time we stood up to Megamind and show him he can't push us around"
"Oh! Oh, really?"
"She's so cute!"
"Ok...gross" wolf says
"Ew" webs says.
"Blah" piranha splits out.
"I'm already hot on his trail"
But then the bad guys turned to the screen and their face dropped as they gasped.
"Uh-huh. And what gives you that idea?"
"Megamind" the bad guys called him.
"Uh, sir?"
"I just found his secret hideout!"
Roxanne's face appears on the security TV screens.
"How did she find my hideout?!"
"Shh shh" wolf tries to quiet him down then he went back onto the cell phone.
"Uh, how did you find his hideout?"
"This is the only building in Metro City with a fake observatory on the roof!"
"Oh that's a great Idea genius" snake says sarcastically, "build a evil liar with a fake observatory what can go wrong"
"Okay. Relax, There's no way she'll find the secret entrance"
"There's a doormat here that says 'Secret Entrance'!" Roxanne gasped.
Roxxane enters the hideout and as the bad guys groaned, Megamind turns to Minion.
"Minion!"
"I kept forgetting where it was!"
"Oh way to go idiot" snake insults him.
"She'll discover all our secrets!"
"Aah! Oh no!"
"You dim-witted creation of science!!"
"Megamind! The phone!" Wolf points out.
"What?"
"What? Oh no, not you, Roxxane. No, I was just yelling at...my mother's urn. Don't do anything I'll be right there"
"Well that's great" snake groaned but then megamind sees the bad guys exiting through the back.
"Whoa, where do you five think your going?"
"There's no way we're getting involved with this" snake says.
"Yeah plus we have a daughter at him, so call us when you survived, bye"
"Wait" but they already left.
after Roxanne has entered into Megamind secret hideout.
"Roxxane? Oh no, not again!" Cut to Roxxane walking around.
"Roxanne?"
"Oh!"
Roxanne turns around in surprise and see's Bernard who's in fact Megamind in disguise.
"Wow!"
"Oh, I'm glad you're here. Wait, how did you get here so fast?"
"Well, I uh, I happen to be speed walking nearby when you called"
"In a suit?"
"Uh-huh. It's called, formal speed walking. But that's not important. I'd better take the lead. This way looks exciting"
"No, it says exit"
"Uh, which is the abbreviation for ex-citing, right?"
Roxxane finds Megaminds planning room with posters and notes everywhere.
"This is the motherload!"
"Oh!"
"Wow! Just look at this thing! You know, I really could use your help in deciphering all this"
" Really?"
"You're an expert on all things Megamind, right?"
"Yes, right"
"Together, we could figure out his plan for the city and stop it. Are you in?"
"Oh, what fun!"
"That's what I want to hear!"
"Minion, code: Send in the Brainbots"
"You know, the whole point of a code is-"
" Oh, code: Just do it, Minion!"
minion presses a button and a horde of brainbots floods into the room. They grab Bernard, not knowing he's Megamind in disguise and carry him away.
"It's me, you fools!"
" Bernard!"
They knock over the locker minion was in, dropping the infusing gun on the floor. Roxxane notices it, picks it up, and runs after Bernard.
"It's Daddy!" The brainbots drop him as Roxxane catches up.
"Megamind! What have you done with Bernard?"
"Bernard? Oh, yes. I'm doing horrible things to that man. I don't want to get into it, but lasers, spikes..."
he opens a trap door and put his head in pretending to be Bernard shouting.
" Oh, please, no! Not the lasers and the spikes!"
"You know, the drill"
"Oh, no! Not the drill? Aaargh!"
"Let him go! Or..."
"Or what?"
" Or I'm gonna find out what this weird looking gun does!"
"No! Don't shoot! Don't shoot that gun! I'll just go get him"
Megamind jumps into the trapdoor, pretending to fight Bernard, turning his disguise on and off.
" Unhand me you fiend! His strength, is too much!"
" Aargh! I work out!"
" Well, it's really paying off! You're so fit! And strangely charismatic!"
After a moment Bernard shoots out of the door.
" Are you okay?"
"I did my best. But he's too fantastic! Here, let me carry that heavy gun for you"
"I got us covered" he walks down the hall, Bernard grumbles and turns back into Megamind, sneaking around Roxane.
"Let go, it's mine!"
" Bernard, run!"
Roxanne and Megamind fight over the gun. On monitors we see Hal walking around outside searching.
" Roxane?"
"You're going to break it!"
"Give it to me!" They accidentally fire the gun.
"Oh no!" The super-powered bullet ricochets back and forth before entering a pipe, pinging around inside and moving towards Hal, standing outside.
"Roxanne?" The bullet fires out and hits Hal.
"Ow!"
"Who on earth is that?" Roxane sneaks around to the exit door, which turns out to be a room filled with Aligators.
"Roxanne!"
"Oh, Bernard! You were right about that door being exciting" The brainbots fly after them.
"This way!" While running, they pass a stack of explosives. Roxanne grabs one and lights it.
"Ha!"
"What are you doing?"
"This'll stop them! Here!" she tosses it to Bernard.
"Oh! Seems a bit extreme, doesn't it?" he tries to blow it out.
"Just throw it!"
"Daddy's sorry!"
He tosses it behind him and the brainbots stop to inspect it. It explodes right as they both jump out of the secret entrance.
"Ah!"
"Wow. That was really exciting"
"Yeah"
"You were very strong in there"
"I know"
"I've never seen anyone but Metro Man stand up to him like that"
"What's going on?"
"Hal, what happened?"
"I think a bee flew up my nose. I was just about to make my frontal assault to rescue you, but like, fifty ninjas tried to attack me. So, I uh, had to beat them all up and I, I did and they were all like, crying and stuff..."
"Wow, a brave one, isn't he?"
" Who are you?"
"Well loh, thi...this is Bernard. He's my partner"
"Partner?"
"Yes, yes. Partner."
" Well look, partner, I'm her partner. She doesn't know what she's saying, she's been through a traumatic experience"
"I better take him home. Thanks again, Bernard" she hugs him.
"I'll call you tomorrow, partner"
"Yeah, okay. I'd like that"
"That was weird for everybody. Cause you accidentally hugged him instead of me"
Roxanne and Hal leave while Bernard smiles.
"Sir! Code: Did you find out who it was?"
"Uh? Oh! Oh" he undoes his disguise, "Get the car"
"Right away, sir"
Megamind felt something inside, and it was the same feeling wolf felt years ago.
