Their ship filled with water, as everyone panicked,
"Monkey king! Do something!" MK begged,
"What? A little water never hurt anybody- oh right mortality..." he groaned standing up and began to think. (rare I know-) But good for him he didn't have to when a shadow peered over their ship,
"Well I don't think I'll have to! Look like and old buddy of mine is here." As the shadow loomed over the ship it peered in closer...obviously not happy.
"Okay so friend might be a stretch..." he chuckled awkwardly.
The ship was thrown onto an underwater land of some sort and everyone exited the ship all shaken up by the sudden force.
But they were met with a large beatiful palace.
"The Dragon Palace of the East Sea, WERE IN THE DRAGON PALACE OF THE EAST SEA!" Mei exclaimed holding MK by the shoulders.
"Yeah, this is my old buddy's house. Where I got my staff,"
"Got or.."
"Took. You took it? Oh boy..." MK groaned, Monkey King brushed it off as the doors began to open. He turned to everyone and gestured to his smile,
"Smiles everyone smiles!" he turned to the door and smiled wide, "Heyy! Ao G-"
"SUN WUKONG! You dare enter my domain after hamulitating me, trucking me?!" the old man asked furiously,
"Tsk ta- whaaaat!?? The staff?! that's a total misunderstanding!"
"And now I've learned that it has been lost? You have given the evil lady bone demon exactly what she needs to destory us all!"
"I SHOULD DESTORY YOU WHERE YOU STAND."
"I thought you said he was your friend!"
"he knows about the lady bone demon?!"
"What are we gonna do???"
"relax I got this." Monkey King cleared his throat,
"Perhaps you forgot!" the man's eyes began to glow sending a dragon spirit lookin thing his way "I AM THE GREAT SUN WU- OOF" punched right in the stomach sending him flying.
"DO NOT TRY TO FOOL ME A THIRD TIME TRICKSTER! I can sense your weakness your power is all but consumed."
Everyone stood ready to fight
"Don't think I'll let you off so easily as last time. Especially when your partner isn't here to save you."
Monkey King looked up his eyes wide clutching his fist, MK let out a small gasp looking at the man then Monkey King. Mei gasped,
"PARTNER?!" she squealed, Tang turned around,
"There's nothing I've ever read talking about Wukong and a partner of some sort unless there was-"
Guards suddenly surrounded the group and Mei pulled out her sword ready for a fight.
Ao Guang's Eyes widened,
"where did you get that?" He asked Mei,
"um...it's mine? my family's?" Mei nervously answered.
"I know this blade..it belonged to my brother. The Dragon Of the West. You mean to tell me you are a descendent of my brother, Ao Ji?" he asked.
Mei nodded
"uh mr dragon of the East sorry to interrupt you his little family...whatever it is. But you know about the lady bone demon, you know what she's cable of. We can stop her we just-"
The Dragon sprit thing flew right to MK bitting right through MK making him scream but nothing was hurt.
But the map is gone,
"you would tell me how to protect my people when you have unleeshed this evil on this world!" Ao Guang asked,
"okay, fresh wound just gonna let that bounce off of me." MK replied sniffing wiping a tear away.
"bring the girl, imprison the rest." the guards did as they were told dragging them away.
"Don't worry guys I'll- uh ILL-"
monkey King closed his eyes opening them showing his golden glow,
"Nothing is more important than getting that map back." he said using his Monkey telepathy.
Mei nodded and they were dragged separate ways.
-in prison-
Tang was panicing as pigsy went on his little thing about spoons.
But MK could barley pay attention, he just stared at Monkey King. Monkey King sat against the wall, eyebrows furrowed, arms crossed, and his hands clutched his sleeves.
"Monkey King..?" MK spoke, Monkey king lossened his grip and unfurrowed his brows hearing MK's voice and turned to him.
"Yeah what's up bud?" he asked, Mk looked away
"Your partner...that was..." MK closed his eyes. He opened them again, "Him?" he asked looking back up at Monkey King.
His eyes were wide and his mouth hung slightly opened. He sighed looking to the floor then finally nodded.
Tang sprug up with a loud gasp,
"Tang no-" MK tried to stop him,
"THE MONKEY KING HAD A PARTNER?! WHAT WAS THE NAME POWERS? MORTAL OR INMORTAL?? WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT WHERE ARE THEY NOW!? IS-" but Tang was cut off
"SHUT IT!" Monkey King yelled, "It's none of your business!" He glanced at MK for a second, "None. Of your business." he spat before turning walking to the other side of the cell sitting down.
MK sat in the bed curling into a small ball.
Pigsy...started digging faster.

"WHEN THE DRAGON OF THE EAST HEARS ABOUT THIS-"
"Sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of me NOT complying okay byeee!" Mei ran off shoving the sword through her dress.
"Okay gotta find the map, get my friends, and get the donk outta here before anyone knows we're missing." running around the castle's many many MANY rooms. Until she stopped I. front of a large prettier door than the rest.
"OH THAT COULD BE TEASURE ROOM!" Mei opened it to find a treasure room!
"It is never wise to come uninvited to a lair of a dragon." Ao Gaung spoke, causing Mei to jump,
"h-hi! I was just-"
"stealing from me? on orders of the monkey king no doubt?"
"well it is out map so.."
"You are a member of the dragon clan! You allegiance is to your family!" Ao Gaung exclaimed angrily. Mei gritted her teeth,
"my allegiance is to my family! But it is also to my friends! The fate of the world is at stake and this is important we need the map so we can find the weapon and stop the lady bone demon!" she exclaimed.
"There is no stopping her! she is beyond any of us!" he persist,
"monkey king says with this-"
"THAT MONKEY IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED!" Ao Gaung yelled,
"Maybe..." Mei admitted, "but we have to try!" Mei furrowed her brows and dashed twoards him.
He softened his gaze a for a moment, becuase for a moment he saw his brother in her.
Just for a moment. He swore it was him.
Mei dashed twoards him and he planted his feet ready block but she jumped above him, quickly grabbing the map. He turned and grabbed her arm.
A flash of images ran through their minds.
Fire, these symbols mixing into one, black and red merdging together devouring someone inbetween it.
He yelped backing away in horror, Mei stood,
"This...cannot be!" He exclaimed looking to Mei as if she were cursed.
Mei's breath was shaky but she ran anyway, she didn't understand what she just saw but it didn't matter right now. Right now they needed to get out.
"WHY IS THIS PLACE SO BIG!?"

Monkey King leaned against a pole
Mk was glancing at Monkey Ming every now and then. When the Dragon of the East mentioned Ming he stiffened up, how isolated was Monkey King after Ming died?
MK looked over at Tang and Pigsy, both looked very uncomfortable and Tang looked like he was on the verge of tears. Pigsy was softly and queerly comforting him as he tried to dig them out with a spoon.
No one dared to bring us the conversation again. This was the last place any of them wanted Monkey King to go all berserk.
Monkey King watched everyone, he saw how MK glanced at him, how uncomfortable Tang was, Pigsy was just as annoyed as ever. Monkey King clutched his fist and gritted his teeth.
"Its not my fault! MK should've stopped them he knows! I mean- how could he talk about Ming like that!? Like he was just someone who only got me out of trouble! Not even a hint of remorse for him!" he scoffed softly.
How could he.
A sudden BAM causing Monkey king to jump, it was a..van through the wall.
"Mei! Sandy! You jail breaked us! you-you broke the jail! We're freeeee!"
"Yeah! i got the map too!"
Monkey king watched as everyone got in, he walked in too letting everyone talking back and forth. He took the map back, opening it.
The van was suddenly tossed to a 360 and the back doors swinging open.
"I WILL NOT LET YOU LEAVE WITH THAT MAP!"
"What do you not get!? The samadhi fire is the only chance we've got!" Monkey king exclaimed,
"The samadhi fire cannot be contained!"
"Please your dragon-ness we have to try!"
"It's our last hope!" MK begged,
"You don't under-" eveyone stopped, Both Monely King and the dragon of the East looked above to an enormous purple shadow hovering over the city.
"He's Coming." Monkey king anncouned,
"Macaque? He's here?!" MK asked,
"If he captures us..the map..." everyone slowly looked up to the dragon of the East.
Ao Gaung sighed, stepping out the van,
"I'll hold him off." he began walking off when,
"Wait!" Mei grabbed his sleeve, "Than you great great great thousand times great uncle." standing for a moment he smiler. He placed his hand on hers and smiled at her softly. As he began to walk off he stopped and turned,
"And Wukong." Monkey King looked up eyebrows furrowed, "I'm sorry." His eyes softened, "Give him a shell or two for me. Tell him...I kept our collection." Wukong stared then nodded. The vans doors closed and they rushed off.
As they rushed off into the sea turning the van to more of a submarine. Wukong stared,
"I guess I forgot Ming was good friends with him too.." he thought to himself.
Monkey King looked over at Tang,
"Tang," he called, he looked over,
"I'm...sorry. I didn't mean to blow up." he apologized, "And MK im sorry..for also blowing up at you.." he finally admited. Tang and MK smiled,
"Eh it's no problem! I'm already over it!" MK explained,
"Thank you for your apology, I forgive you." Tang said with a smug tone an smirk.
Monkey King sighed,
"So does that mean we can ask who your par-"
"No." Monkey King immediately replied cutting Mei off.
MK chuckled,
"Give him time to warm up to you, or pressure him till he blows up." MK joked,
"Ha ha very funny bud." Monkey King smirked, the rest of the van laughed and they got back on course.

The van begun driving away from the Dragon of the East's temple.
"Hey guys now that we have a second..." Mei started sliding next to Monkey King and MK.
"What's up?" MK asked,
"Who's Macaque's wife?" MK and Monkey King both froze.
"Macaque has a wife?" Pigsy asked,
"Aw how sweet!" Sandy added,
"Does he?" Tang asked,
"Yeah, apparently, I mean I heard you guys mention her when Macaque was on the ship.." Monkey King turned to MK leaning closer to him,
"You didn't tell them?"
"No?..." MK said shrinking, "I feel like I did! But I guess I...forgot.." MK admitted.
"MK!" Monkey King yelled,
"IM SORRY!" MK cried laying down.
(A/N: If I did. write that MK told them about Liu...no I didn't ignore it-)
Mei, Tang, Sandy and Pigsy all looked at each other.
"MK? Do we..know who it is?" Pigsy asked, MK curled further into a ball.
Monkey King sighed,
"It's kinda my fault for not telling you guys earlier.."
"Of course it is." Pigsy groaned.
MK sighed sitting up,
"No..it's my fault..when Macaque first showed up and saved Liu. We started training under him, Liu wanted to learn some self defense and...um..." MK trailed off. Pigsy and Tang looked at eachother,
"Kid..what are you trying to say?" Pigsy asked,
"Is this why we haven't seen Liu?" Tang added.
MK shrunk,
"Macaque's wife...is Liu." MK finally said.
The van was silent.
"Liu...is..his wife?" Mei she whispered, MK nodded tears filling his eyes.
Pigsy stood up,
"Kid." He walked over kneeling down and patting MK's shoulder,
"How Long have you known?" He asked. MK shifted a bit,
"A little before New Years. I was going to tell you! But Liu came in and she said all these things and i...I'm sorry!" MK's couldn't hold the tears and they poured from his eyes.
"MK.." Pigsy whispered, Mei ran over hugging her best friend.
Tang walked over sitting next to crying MK,
"MK we're not mad at you." Tang reassured him patting his back, Pigsy sighed,
"Of course we aren't. I don't know what I'd do if I was the one to find out Liu was...well..with him." Pigsy told MK.
"Yeah! I mean I'd probably...i don't know!!" Mei said hugging MK tighter.
MK sniffed,
"Sorry. I should've said something! I didn't know how and then spider Queen happened and-"
"Well, we're gonna be here for a while! Why not tell us now? You said she came to see you?" Sandy asked.
MK nodded,
"okay so what happened.." MK went to explain everything. How Liu met Macaque, how she became immortal, and so on.
Everyone listened patiently as MK explained.
Once he finished everyone was silent processing the information they just learned about the person they once called friend for most their lives.
Pigsy nodded,
"Well. Theres nothing to do about it now." Tang looked down hiding his eyes through the glare of his glasses,
"Yeah, there's no point in dwelling on the past."
"Yeah! We have a Journey to finish! Right MK?" Mei smiled, MK looked up sniffing,
"Yeah!" He smiled.
"Don't worry MK we could never be mad at you!" Sandy said with a smile. Monkey King watched as they all comforted eachother and reassuring MK no one was mad and to just tell them next time.
"Geez Wukong really, just tell me!" Ming flicked his head, "I don't care what I'm doing. I'll be gladly drop everything to come help you."
"Don't have to treat me like an idiot!" He snapped, smacking his hand away.
"I'm not treating you like an idiot," Ming kissed his head, "I'm treating you like an imbecile," he whispered,
"HEY!" Ming let out a roaring laugh,
"Okay! Okay! I'm joking I promise. I don't think your a..complete imbecile." Ming joked.
"You are not good at comforting people."
"I am, this is just how I comfort you," Ming explained,
"Comfort me?-" Wukong asked, Ming kissed him,
"That. Is how I comfort you." Ming smiled. Wukong started,
"...better be." He mumbled leaning on Ming's shoulder,
"Don't worry Wukong, I could never be mad at you." Ming said wrapping his wing and arms around him. Wukong looked up at Ming, he smiled wide.
MK smiled wide as they all laughed together,
"Ming...you would've loved MK." Wukong thought with a smile.
