Kiruka: "No, there is still a way."
Kiruka brings out the phone of the man they attacked earlier, showing Mahoro and Katsuma's video message to the said man, now known as their father.
Nine: "It is true. The Quirks… are inherited…"

The scene changes inside a hospital room with an injured man sitting on the hospital bed in his hospital gown. From there, Arcane is seen standing with Flash Bang, Sketcher, Parapet, Feroch, and Haze in front of the man.
Arcane: "You sure that's the target you saw?"
Flash Bang: "Answer it, Ishijima."
The man looks up in shock.
Épée: "What's with the real names?! I'm Épée!"
Feroch: "That is when we are in a combat zone or a professional place. But we are in a hospital room, and now answer the question."
Épée: "Where's Mitozaki?"
Parapet: "Rogue? He's dead."
Épée's eyes widen as he remembers the event that happened .

(Flashback)
Roguei: "That's our target! Call it in!"
Spikes emerge from the skin of Rogue and charge towards the group as the leader of the villains drops the man to the floor.
Rogue: "Stop right there!"
The leader of the group raises his hands and brings it down, lightning strikes directly down at Rogue, killing him in an instant.
Épée: "Damn it! Any more heroes in the area? We need everyone we can gather!"
Épée drags his ally away as more lightning strikes appear over the city and keeps damaging more heroes.
Épée:"Just hold out, Rogue!"
He raises his hand towards his earpiece.
Épée: "We have injured here! Target is confirmed in my location! Get medic heroes this instant!"
Épée lowers his hand and starts shaking Rogue.
Épée: "Come on, Rogue! Just hold on!"

The flashback ends with the scene going back to the hospital room.
Épée: "He… didn't make it?"
Haze: "My apologies, but he was already gone the moment he arrived."
Épée looks in disbelief before regaining his composure.
Épée: "Well… I am sure that's the target we encountered. We obviously had no chance to apprehend them. Two of us versus four elite villains? You're kidding, yet he still rushed in. (Chuckles) Anyways, yeah, they're our targets and they just destroyed a whole city. Has a lot of Quirks as well, just like Nomus."
Arcane: "That's all we need. Thank you."
Arcane turns around along with her companions and goes for the exit.
Épée: "Hey."
They all stopped and looked at him.
Épée: "Rogue's death will not be wasted, right?"
Arcane: "Please rest up so you can return to action soon."
She turns around and leaves the room along with her companions.
Arcane: (mentally) "We'll make sure it's not wasted."
Arcane looks at her companions.
Arcane: "We'll go back to the scene tomorrow."

The scene changes back to Nabu Island with Kuuga, Bakugo, and Izuku running on an empty road with the angry possum carrying Katsuma.
Bakugo: "Why are you two here?!"
Izuku: "Why you say? Because if there really is a villain…"
Bakugo: "I'll be fine by myself!"
Kuuga: "More heroes in the scene can resolve things quicker, Bakugo."
Bakugo: "Shut up!"
Bakugo blasts up and talks to Katsuma.
Kuuga: "Hey, Bakugo!"
Bakugo: "Hey, where did you see that villain?"
Katsuma: "I-Inside those castle ruins!"
Bakugo: "Tell me that first!"
Bakugo blasts down, scaring Katsuma.
Katsuma: "Onee-chan…!"
The scene changes to Bakugo now in the ruins, face to face with a green insect-looking villain.
Katsuma: "Over there!"
Bakugo tosses the kid aside.
Bakugo: "Go hide."
Kuuga and Izuku arrive at the scene shortly.
Izuku: "Katsuma!"
Kuuga stares at the villain and his purple eyes glow, restraining the villain with black mists.
Kuuga: "Do it!"
Bakugo: "Stun Grenade!"
Bakugo unleashes a huge blast at the villain, destroying the mist but not affecting the villain.
Kuuga: "What?"
More mist formed but Kuuga notices the mist phasing through the body. He quickly calms down.
Kuuga: (mentally) "I see."
Bakugo: (mentally) "Eye Bags' Quirk didn't work as well. This guy…"
Izuku looks in concern at the scene.
Izuku: "Kacchan!"
Bakugo remained standing and let the villain attempt to crush him, but only ended up phasing through it.
Izuku: "Huh?"
Bakugo walks out of the fake villain. Kuuga approaches him.
Kuuga: "Find the culprit."
Bakugo notices the disappointed face of Kuuga and then blasts the ground, creating a small shockwave, revealing Mahoro hiding behind the rocks.
Mahoro: "Ouch!"
The fake villains slowly fade away.
Izuku: "The Villain…"
Mahoro: "Ow, ow… Jeez! At least get a little scared!"
Izuku: "Th-That girl…"
Kuuga and Bakugo approach Mahoro.
Kuuga: "I assume you made those illusions."
Kuuga narrows his eyes at the kid.
Mahoro looks away.
Mahoro: "Huh?! How did you know it was an illusion?"
Bakugo: "It's obvious! There's no shadow! Hey, damn kid… Are you having fun taunting heroes, huh?!"
Mahoro looks in fear and crawls back but black mist forms around her legs, stopping her from moving. She looks up to see the dead stare of Kuuga and Bakugo's even more intimidating face.
Kuuga: "We're not done yet."
Bakugo: "I'm completely different from your everyday heroes. I'm the one who'll surpass All Might and become the Number One Hero, Katsuki Bakugo! You picked the wrong person to taunt!"
Katsuma nervously approaches the two.
Katsuma: "D-Don't scold my big sister."
Bakugo: "Huh?! Are you her accomplice? Huh?!"
Izuku approaches Bakugo and holds him back.
Izuku: "You're going overboard, Kacchan!"
Bakugo: "Let me go, Damn Deku! Don't touch me!"
The two began to wrestle.
Izuku: "We should be glad it was just a fake villain!"
Bakugo: "Kids these days have no respect!"
Kuuga diverts his attention to his classmates.
Kuuga: "Break it up, you two!"
Mahoro grabs Katsuma and begins to flee but Bakugo crawls after them.
Bakugo: "Wait, dammit!"
Izuku got a hold of his head, stopping him from advancing.
Izuku: "I told you to stop!"
Bakugo: "Don't give me orders!"
Kuuga watches the two kids flee from them.

The scene changes back to the destroyed city with the first responders now trying to fix the problem.
Hawks: "Among the victims, there's another one who lost his Quirk. But this time, he isn't a hero. On top of that, everything that can be used to identify him has been stolen. The suspect doesn't want anyone to know what Quirks he stole…? Why does he need to hide this?"
Arcane: "Not knowing what extra tricks he has will make our jobs harder."
Hawks: "That's fair. They probably know you're onto them?"
Arcane: "Most likely."
From one of the buildings, Shigaraki looks over them with hateful-looking eyes.

The scene changes back to Class 1-A's Operation Center with Ashido answering a phone call.
Ashido: "Hello! This is U.A.'s Hero Agency! (Pause) Your travel bag has gone missing? Okay, we'll send someone right away!"
Ashido puts the phone down.
Ashido: "At the shopping arcade, a tourist said she lost her luggage-"
Hagakure raises her hand.
Hagakure: "I'll go, I'll go! Aoyama-kun, come with me!"
Aoyama gracefully stands up.
Aoyama: "Oui!"
Annya chimes in.
Annya: "I could join."
Hagakure: "That would be great, Annya!"
Mineta: "Another lost item…? People should at least try to-"
Ashido: "The client sounded really cute on the phone."
Mineta suddenly stands up with a newfound resolve.
Mineta: "I can't leave someone in trouble alone!"
Yaoyorozu: "Shoji is asking for more support on the beach!"
Ojiro: "Then I'll go."
Murasaki: "I'll join, too, Ojiro…"
Murasaki looks away, avoiding Annya's gaze.
Tokoyami: "I'll go on a regular patrol. Kiriu, you should, too."
Kuuga nods.
Kuuga: "Yeah."
Izuku: "I'll go out, too, to help with the fields at Nijima-san."
Sayo: "Sayo will be on standby for now!"
She playfully salutes.
Kuuga: "Just don't cause too much trouble with the others that aren't going out as well."
Sayo: "Hey!"
Kuuga goes for the door but Jiro stops him by holding on to his arm.
Kuuga: "Hmm?"
Jiro: "Be careful out there, okay?"
Kuuga nods.
Kuuga: "I will."
Jiro: "Work hard, Zero."
Kuuga: "You too as well, Earphone Jack."

The scene changes to sunset in the playground on top of the hill with Shinju sitting on the grass with Mahoro sitting on her lap.
(This is how I imagine Shinju Ahane to look like)
Shinju: "What are you doing here all alone, Mahoro?"
Shinju is seen playing with Mahoro's hair.
Mahoro: "I'm waiting for Katsuma."
Shinju: "Is that so? It's an unusual sight to see you two not together!"
Shinju giggles.
Katsuma: (unseen) "Onee-chan!"
Mahoro excitedly stands up and turns around to see Katsuma running towards her. Shinju watches the two siblings, still keeping her very positive smile.
Mahoro: "Where did you go, Katsuma?"
Katsuma: "To see Deku-niisan. I went to say sorry for what happened yesterday."
Mahoro: "Why?"
Katsuma: "I love daddy. I want to be someone as cool as daddy."
Shinju: "Did you apologise to Zero as well, Katsuma? I heard he was there as well."
Katsuma gasps but looks down.
Katsuma: "He wasn't there…"
Shinju: "Make sure to apologise to him as well, okay?"
Katsuma: "Okay!"
Shinju: "Here you go!"
Shinju hands them a piece of candy each.
Shinju: "A reward from big sis Shinju!"
Mahoro: "Oh, thank you!"
Katsuma: "Thank you!"
Footsteps are heard, making the group turn around to see Kuuga walking towards their direction.
Shinju: "Zero?"
Kuuga notices them.
Kuuga: "Oh, you're here."
Kuuga narrows his eyes at the two kids.
Kuuga: "And you two."
Shinju: "Wh-What are you doing here?"
She looks away, blushing.
Kuuga: "Regular patrol. I check every corner of this island and this is the last stop."
Shinju: "I see."
She observes the boy before her, looking closely at his messy black hair and slightly dead purple eyes. She looks down and notices one of his hands is made of metal.
Shinju: "Is that-"
Before she could continue, a tremor was suddenly felt, alerting all of them.
Mahoro: "Wh-What is it?!"
They look over to see a boat on its side and it crashes on the port.
Katsuma: "What… what's going on?"
Kuuga notices a group standing on the boat and splits ways with the red-haired girl jumping up and Slice (Kiruka) destroys the boats with blades emerging from her red hair.
Kuuga: "Villains."
Shinju: "Villains?!"
He nods.
Kuuga: "Yeah. All of you get to a safe place! Call the other heroes!"
Shinju: "Wh-What about you?"
Kuuga faces them, his purple eyes now glowing and mist flowing around him.
Kuuga: "I'll be the first responder."
He turns around and jumps down the cliff.
Shinju: "Wait!"

The scene changes back to the operations center with Sayo, Uraraka, and Iida waving at Izuku while talking to the mayor.
Izuku: "I finished working the fields!'
Sayo: "Hello, Deku!"
Iida: "Welcome back, Midoriya-kun."
Uraraka: "Good work!"

Kuuga is seen running towards the Port and pressing on his earpiece.
Kuuga: "We have villains at the port!"
He waited for a while but there was no response. He opens his phone to only see there was no service.
Kuuga: "It can't be… Damn it! I'm facing them myself!"

The scene changes inside a random building with Mineta looking surprised as he stands beside Hagakure, Aoyama, and Annya, who have sweet smiles on their faces and are clapping.
Maa/Mii: "Thank you very much!"
They watch the couple hold hands.
Mii: "Isn't it great, Maa-kun?"
Maa: "Yeah, Mii-chan."
Annya: "Congrats."
Mineta: (mentally) "What the heck? She has a boyfriend! Damn that Ashido…"
An explosion was suddenly heard outside. Making everyone stop.
Mineta: "Hey, what was that?"
More explosions are heard outside.
Annya: "More explosions. Hurry!"
The four of them ran outside towards the explosions as civilians ran past them.
Man: "Heroes, it's a villain!"
They stop to see red mummy-like entities floating.
Mineta: "It's seriously a villain!"
Aoyama: "That's too sudden!"
Hagakure: "W-We need to do something!"
Mineta: "Aoyama, use your laser! Kuroishi, the shadows!"
Annya: "It's Annya!"
Annya uses her shadows to strike the entities while Aoyama activates his laser.
Aoyama: "It's called Naval Laser!"
Both shadows and lasers destroyed the entities and now the villain, Mummy (Hoyo) himself stands in the middle of the street.
Mummy: "Oh? Four heroes in the middle of nowhere."
Mummy stretches his hand out, covering a delivery van, a vending machine, and bunch more stuff with his red silk, turning it into an entity that is able to fight.
Aoyama: "He just made more!"
Mummy manipulates the entities to fly down and attack them while Annya, Aoyama, and Mineta desperately try to shoot them down.
Annya: "There's too many of them!"
Mineta: "Hagakure, did you contact the office?!"
Hagakure is seen holding her phone up, trying to contact the others.
Hagakure: "I can't reach them! I don't have any signal!"
Mineta: "No way!"
Annya continues to destroy more entities.
Annya: "I can't keep up with the amount."
Aoyama: "If I keep shooting like this… my tummy will…"
Mineta: "Damn it! What should we do?!"
Mineta continues to throw more balls from his scalp.

The scene changes to the beach with Ojiro preparing to fight Chimera (Chojuro).
Ojiro: "Froppy! Tentacole! NA!"
Ojiro starts running.
Ojiro: "Evacuating everyone is our first priority!"
Shoji: "I know!"
Murasaki: "I'll guard the civilians!"
He forms a huge amethyst wall.
Tsuyu: "Get away from here, quickly."
Tsuyu proceeds to assist the civilians.
Ojiro jumps up and twirls in the air.
Ojiro: "Twirling Tail Dance!"
He goes to strike Chimera with his tail but he easily stops it. Ojiro flips away in time to avoid a counter attack.
Ojiro: "What are you after? Why are you doing this?"
Chimera picks up a couple of boulders.
Chimera: "You're quite young for a hero."
Murasaki: "Get out of there, Ojiro!"
Chimera throws them at the hero with him narrowly avoiding each one but was saved by Tokoyami, who just arrived at the scene.
Ojiro: "Tokoyami!"
Tokoyami: "Sorry I'm late!"
Murasaki forms a platform and starts shooting sharp amethyst crystals at the villain.
Murasaki: "Crystal fate!"
Tokoyami joins in the attack.
Tokoyami: "Dark Shadow!"
Dark Shadow: "Got it!"
Chimera deflects the crystals with ease and punches Dark Shadow in the face hard, creating a strong force of wind, making all of them lose their footing.
Ojiro: "We can't use our phones! Go back to the office and get help!"
Tokoyami: "But-"
Ojiro: "I'll hold things as I can, here!"
Murasaki: "I'll stay behind!"

The scene changes to the port with a now injured Kuuga hiding behind some rubble as Slice walks around, looking for him.
Slice: "Come out, kid! You can't hide forever!"
Kuuga grits his teeth as he assesses his injuries.
Kuuga: (mentally) "Too many cuts, so much blood loss… Prosthetics broken."
He tries to move his prosthetic arm, but it barely does so.
Kuuga: (mutters) "Damn it…"
He observes his surroundings.
Kuuga: "No way out. I'm pinned. There's no way I can outrun needles."
He notices the villain walking towards his location.
Kuuga: "Great."
Slice makes a cheeky smile.
Slice: "There you are!"
She rounds the corner and only ends up seeing blood stains.
She looks around to see no one nearby.
Slice: "What?"
Black mist suddenly restrains her and knocks her into a wall. She grunts in pain as she gets repeatedly thrown around, putting her in a state where she can barely move.
Slice: (angrily) "You…"
Kuuga makes a run for it, not looking back.
Kuuga: "They need to know!"
Slice: "You're not going anywhere!"
Multiple red needles are seen flying towards him but Kuuga manages to avoid all of them.
Kuuga: "I'll deal with you next time-!"
Kuuga was suddenly shot by a laser multiple times, knocking him into some rubble.
Kuuga: (weakly) "Another one…?"
He looks up to see Nine standing nearby with his fingertips extended. Slice was seen running towards him.
Slice: "Nine!"
Kuuga's vision starts to get blurry.
Kuuga: "Nine…"
The vision gets even more blurry until the scene turns into black.
Kuuga: (unseen, weakly) "They need to know…!"

The scene changes back to the operations center with Uraraka noticing her phone has no reception.
Uraraka: "Huh? My phone has no signal."
Kaminari, Sayo, Sero, and Jiro notice it on their phones as well.
Sayo: "Oh."
Kaminari: "You're right."
Sero: "Mine, too."
Jiro: "And mine. What's going on?"
Bakugo stares at his phone.
Bakugo: (mentally) "Don't tell me…"
A screeching noise was heard outside as a civilian stopped in front of the building on his motorcycle.
Man: "This is bad! Villains appeared!"
Everyone ran outside.
Sato: "Villains?!"
Man: "They're attacking the shopping arcade! Some heroes are fighting with him, but..!"
Tokoyami flies in and lands in the middle of the group.
Tokoyami: "Reporting in! A villain has appeared at the beach!"
Bakugo: "What?!
Tokoyami: "Ojiro, Murasaki, and the others are fighting a defensive battle. They're asking for help!"
Jiro: "Did you see Kuuga?"
Tokoyami shakes his head.
Tokoyami: "I haven't seen him."
Yaoyorozu looks at Iida.
Yaoyorozu: "Iida!"
Iida: "There's no time to hesitate. Everyone here split up into two groups, and deal with the villains!"
Iida looks at Kirishima, Bakugo, and Kaminari.
Iida: "Bakugo, Kirishima, Kaminari, you will intercept the villain at the shopping arcade."
Iida looks at Ashido, Yaoyorozu, and Jiro.
Iida: "Yaoyorozu, Jiro, and Ashido, you will take care of the evacuation at the shopping arcade!"
Iida looks at Sato, Todoroki, Tokoyami, and Sero.
Iida: "Todoroki, Sato, Sero, and Tokoyami will come with me to the beach!"
Iida looks at Sayo, Koda, and Uraraka.
Iida: "Uraraka, Aisaka, and Koda, you will take care of the evacuation at the beach."
Sayo: "Okay!"
Iida: "We're in a race against time."
Yaoyorozu: "We are the only heroes on this island. And we are the only ones who can save the people of this island!"
Iida: "U.A.'s High School hero course, Class 1-A, heading out!"

The scene changes back to the playground, overlooking the port with Izuku looking down.
Izuku: "The fishing harbor! I need to tell everyone!"
He brings out his phone and gasps.
Izuku: "No signal…"
Izuku jumps down towards the port and walks around the ruins.
Izuku: (mentally) "Villains have come to this island. The others will probably go face them right after they find out about this. If that's so, then I must make sure that Mahoro-chan is safe."
He notices Kuuga sitting by some rubble, wincing in pain. He gasps and runs towards him.
Izuku: "Kiriu!"
Kuuga looks up at him.
Kuuga: "Hey…"
Izuku: "What happened here?!"
Kuuga: "Got myself in a fight with two villains. They're a pain in the ass. They got away."
Izuku: "C-Can you stand?"
Kuuga: "In a bit. Let me rest for a while. You should go help the others. I'll be fine here."
Izuku: "But-"
Kuuga: "I said I'll be fine. We have no way of communication. That's why we need all the manpower now. Go!"
Izuku gains a determined face and nods before running away to help.
Kuuga: "Prioritise their safety."

I'm really sorry for the 6 months of not updating Zero, but I'll have to cut the chapter here for now and I'll proceed to write the next one this instant.
