*After School May 21*
You tagged along with your friends to meet up with Yusuke at your hideout. Your mind was focused on the plan to send the calling card and to infiltrate Madarame's Palace. However, you kept on thinking about Makoto, it made it difficult to stay focused in class. You tried desperately to not think about her but the images of last night kept you awake that night. Your heart never beats as strongly as before, was this love or just a fling of a feeling you thought.
Morgana: So Yusuke, do you think you could be the one to make the calling card?
Ryuji: Why does he have to do it?
Ann: That is because your last calling card was laughable with the design you made.
Ren: You can still write it Ryuji, but now that we have someone as talented as Yusuke on the team now, I reckon we let him design and make our calling card logo.
Yusuke: I would be honored to do such a thing. Just leave it to me to ensure Madarame sees it.
Ann: Just we need you to tell us the plan Y/N.
You:...
Morgana: Hey! Y/N! You there?
You:...
Ryuji: Yo! You alright!
You: O..Oh! Y..yeah sorry was thinking.
Ren: It's fine but try to get serious a bit.
You: Sorry. Yeah. So the plan of attack that I got is this...
You proceed to explain the plan to them and they all seem to nod in agreement that the plan is sound. After some time passes of waiting on Yusuke and Ryuji to finish the card, you explain once more that you guys could do this simple and fast if all the things go according to plan.
You: I hope we are ready.
Ren: We have to be. Better now than later.
Morgana: I agree.
Ann: Well it is a waiting game now. What do you guys want to do?
Ren: I gotta head to Leblanc and help Sojiro out for the night.
Ryuji: My mom has stuff come up and needs me home tonight as well.
Ann: What about you Y/N?
You: Sorry I have plans already tonight.
Ann: Oh bummer. You guys are no fun.
Morgana: I could hang out with you Lady Ann!
Ann: *Sigh* Sorry but I am not in the mood anymore..
Morgana: W..What!?
You: Well I gotta go, I will see you guys tomorrow. Let us do a good job together.
Ren: You too, see you soon.
You head out, exiting the rooftop of the school and head towards the Student Council Room. You knock the door and here a response.
Makoto: Come in!
You open the door.
You: I hope this isn't a bad time?
Makoto: *Surprised* Y..Y/N? N..No! It's completely fine.
You: I just wanted to stop by and check on you.
Makoto: What for?
You: *Flustered a bit* I don't know.. I guess I just wanted to talk to you since last night..
Makoto: *Closes eyes and has a joyful smile* Oh you, don't be one of those boyfriends.
You: What do you mean..!
Makoto: *Soft Chuckle* The one's that are super weird about it.
You: W..Well this is my first time being in a relationship that I don't mind being in..
Makoto: *Blushes a bit* Y..Yeah?
You: Yeah.. It doesn't even feel the same as the other girls that I "dated" in middle school and my freshman year in the States. It feels right.
Makoto: I hope that wasn't your attempt at flattery you know.
You: Nope, but this is.
You kneel down to Makoto and kiss her cheek. She tenses up and looks away blushing, you chuckle and press your forehead into her shoulder.
You: Now that was flattery.
Makoto: S..Shut up! I didn't ask you to do that you know.
You: I know. Just thought it would be nice to give you something special.
Makoto: Just so you know, I am not afraid to use my Akido on you.
You: I would like to see you try *Cheeky Smile*
Makoto: Oh I will show you..! Just not at this moment.
You: Mhm. Sure. So! Need any help with Student Council work?
Makoto: Not really, I got through most of what I needed to get, why?
You: Well. I was wondering if you wanted to come by my place and talk there?
Makoto: *Blushes Red* W..What.. Do you mean by that?
You: Well I got to see what your place is like. I was wondering if you wanted to stop by my place and see how our lifestyles differ silly.
Makoto: *Clearing throat* W..Well as much as I would love that, I unfortunately have to be home after this, Sis is gonna be home and I kinda have to be there when she is.
You: I see, that's fine. Just know you are always welcome in my home.
Makoto: I would love to say the same with mine, but I think Sis might get suspicious.
You: Maybe, but one of these days she is gonna know, and I rather it be on a good day.
Makoto: That is true. You do think ahead on everything don't you.
You: Well that's not what happened last night you know.
Makoto: Hmm?
You grin and point at your lips.
Makoto: *Flustered again* Y..yeah?
You: Yep! You totally did something that even I couldn't think was gonna happen. But I guess things like that tend to happen spontaneously. I am just happy that I didn't expect it. So thank you for that.
Makoto: You make it sound like what I did was easy.
You: Oh no, I totally bet you were not expecting to just get all up close and personal with me like that. But it is something that I will cherish you know.
Makoto: I.. I know that..!
You: *Chuckling* Good talk Makoto, I think I accomplished my job here.
Makoto: Why you..!
You: See you around! Feel free to chase me down and do what we did last night, I wouldn't mind *Winking at Makoto*
You leave her there and close the door as you begin to exit the school. A smile sewn across your face. You feel the tension you had earlier is now gone. Heading back home, you decide to stop by Leblanc to say hi to Sojiro. Ren is a little surprised to see you, but nods to your appearance nonetheless.
You: Hey Boss!
Sojiro: Hey! It's been awhile. Can I get you something?
You: Sure, I heard you make good curry, I wouldn't mind trying some of it.
Sojiro: No problem, I will whip the best for you.
You: Thanks Boss.
You sit down and Ren makes you a cup of coffee. You take a sip and taste his handy work. It isn't Sojiro levels but it is still very good.
You: You made this Ren?
Ren: Of course.
You: It's not bad. You must be learning a lot from Boss.
Ren: He is a good teacher. What are you doing here? I thought you had plans after school?
You: Yeah I already took care of them, I figured I would stop by and enjoy my evening with you and the Boss.
Ren: Is that all?
You: No.
Ren: Do you have something else going on?
You: I just wanted to tell you that I will probably not be in the same classroom as you guys next month.
Ren: What do you mean?
You: Well as you know, I got the top score in the Exams. A Perfect score.
Ren: Right, which by the way, congrats.
You: Thanks.
Ren: But what does that got to do with being in class?
You: Since I scored so high and top of the class, I am going to be submitting my approval to advanced placement. Since I am already 18, I will be graduating this year if I can pass the advanced class.
Ren: You will?
You: Yes, I just thought I would let you know first of all. If I do leave the classroom, could you explain it to Ann for me?
Ren: Why me?
You: I feel like you would explain it better hahaha. It isn't a big deal but I want to graduate as soon as I can. And I feel like I can if I focus on it.
Ren: What about our other agreement?
You: Don't worry, that won't change. However that brings up another topic that only you can hear.
Ren: This sounds more serious.
You: It is.
Ren: So, what is it.
You: Next month, I will be working for the Police.
Ren: You what?
You: It is like I said. I will be a Junior Detective under Prosecutor Niijima, Makoto Niijima's sister. I assume you know about Makoto?
Ren: She has approached me before. Just small talk but that's about it. But, you, a Junior Detective?
You: Yes. I will be there next month.
Ren: Congrats.
You: Thanks I guess. I am pretty lucky I would have to say.
At that moment, you feel a slight pain in your chest. It causes you to close your eyes and grip your chest tightly. You feel a sudden presence looking right at you. You turn your head and completely freeze in terror. You look at the door to see a figure standing shrouded in darkness, smiling at you.....
