Macaque walked back inside, fixing the lamp he destroyed. As he turned a loud clapping filled the room,
"BRAVO! BRAVO! What a performance!" The man cheered.
"Uh thanks!" Macaque smiled backing away quickly,
"But that was the last show so-" Macaque turned only for a hand to be on his neck.
"The Lady Bone Demon would like a word oh and she'll be needing that," the 'Mayor' explained.
"What makes you think I'm going with you?" He asked a portal appearing below him. The Mayor dropped Macaque in attempt to catch himself. But he fell through the portal falling from the ceiling and crashing into the bleachers.
Macaque began to walk away again, that wretched laughter only continued.
"If you change your mind, bring the lamp. Im sure you'll me. Oh yes! Tell Liu I said hello."
Macaque could feel his heart drop...sweat dripped from his head. He looked back at that devilish smile permanently plastered on his face. Almost instantly, Macaque was lifting the Mayor into the air Holding him by neck.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!?" Macaque yelled, he laughed mixed with coughing,
"He-hehehe! Oh nothing! Not yet." Macaque's eyes widened.
"LIU!"
Macaque dropped him running out, through another portal, through shadows, trees, and around the lily patch. "LIU! LIU!?" He screamed absolutely horrified, "LIU! NONONONONO NO!" Macaque was ripping their home apart, "THIS ISNT FUNNY LIU!" He called out lifting their bed to look underneath. He took out every drawer, looked under every table, around every corner, and any curtain and door. He flipped or moved practically every single piece of furniture on their home.
He dropped to his hands and knees dropping the lamp.
Liu!" He called out, tears were now streaming down his face,
"Where are you? Please come on Liu.." Macaque crawled around, still searching. Tears filled his eyes, his whole body shaking as he continued looking under everything. "Liu...where are you?! Please no..." he sniffed trying to hold back his sobbing. But tears began streaming down his cheeks. "Liu..." He whispered, the darkness was starting to get to him. He stopped. No no no! He tried not to let it bother him but something was wrong here. Macaque looked back at the faint glow of the lamp. He looked down at this hands, he punched the ground. Macaque got up scooping up the lamp as he ran out his home.
He busted back into the theater, there the Mayor sat with that same stupid grin.
"Welcome back!" He said happily,
"Where is she!?" Macaque asked angrily.
"She's safe and untouched I assure you, but my lady is willing to make a trade~" Mayor sang. Macaque clutched his teeth,
"tsk." he looked to the side.
What choice did he have?
"Fine. Take me to her."
"Excellent!" he clapped giggling happily.

Macaque walked into the lair with the Mayor beside him. Immediately he saw Liu standing off to the side leaning against a pillar.
"LIU!" Macaque called out quickly running to her dropping the Lamp behind him. Liu looked up standing up striaght,
"Macaque!" She took a step forward. Macaque scooped her up in his arms spinning her around.
He placed a soft kiss on top of her head before setting her down gently, embracing her in a tight hug,
"Are you ok? Where'd they hit you? Are you hurt anywhere? I swear I'll kill them!" Macaque rambled on about his questions.
Before Liu could answer he was cut off,
"Well, I'm suprised the six-eared Macaque actually cares for this wanna-be immortal."
"Lady Bone Demon." Macaque growled under his breath.
Lady Bone Demon chuckled.
"What do you want!?" Macaque asked, pulling Liu behind him.
"You know exactly what I want. I got you out of the hell hole and you betrayed me." Lady Bone Demon took a few steps closer.
"But no matter, you can still your worthyness," she said turning around, she looked to the Mayor, "However she's a problem."
Macaque was yanked away Liu,
"HEY! WHAT IS THIS!?"
"MACAQUE!" Liu reached for him but was dragged back herself by chains.
"I had always thought the Six-Eared Macaque only cared for himself. Especially after that humiliating deafet." Lady Bone Demon began walking to Liu, "So imagine my suprise when I find," She stopped in front of Liu
"His little wife."
Macaque struggled trying to free himself from the chains,
"GET AWAY FROM HER!" he screamed, Liu backed away,
"It is such a shame, she has such a strong body, so much potential," She continued.
"Stay back." Liu demanded,
"Oh dear child, you don't even know where I am."
"I-" Liu leaned forward where voice was coming from...but she wasn't there.
"You see, she's truly useless in battle." Liu stood up angrily,
"I AM NOT USELESS YOU-" suddenly she was inches away from Liu's face,
"is that so?" Liu fell back, "It such a shame really, perhaps...there's something I can do."
"DONT TOUCH HER!" Macaque roared.
Liu looked around hearing her voice all around her,
"M-Macaque! I don't..where is- What's happening!?" she yelled shaking absolutely horrified.
The Lady Bone Demon tapped right between Liu's eyes. Sending a shock down her entire body.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Liu screamed, falling to the floor in pain, "STOP! MAKE IT STOP!" she wailed tears pouring from her eyes.
"NO NO NO! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!" Macaque yelled,
"I gave her a gift." she snapped the chains from both of them were released.
Liu immediately covered her head, still wailing in pain,
"MAKE IT STOP MAKE IT STOP MAKE IT STOOOOOOP!" she screamed as the pain grew more unbearable. Macaque ran towards her reaching forward to touch Liu but a chain flew across his chest sending him backwards.
"Stop! This isn't real! You can't hurt her!" Macaque yelled, the chains started growing shorter making it harder for Macaque to move. Liu's screams formed into wailing sobs,
"Macaque! Macaque it hurts gods IT BURNS!" she sobbed loudly.
"LIU! LIU IM HERE ITS OKAY! ITS OKAY MY-" a hand slapped against Macaque's yells making them muffled. Macaque struggled but it was no use, all he could do was watch his wife wail, scream, and cry in pain. Tears filled Macaque's eyes,
"Please!" his voice muffled.
Liu held onto her head still yelling, the veins all around her entire body were glowing a light blue. She slammed her entire body into a pillar, again and again and again.
She fell to her knees again. She drug her nails into her head, as if trying to tear off out her eyes she lead them down her face.
Macaque watched as her face was pulled open revealing a red, angry skin.
"LIU DONT! LIIUU!" Macaque cried before the hand slammed against his mouth again. Tears rolled down his cheek. He kicked and struggling to break free.
Her hair was no longer in its neat hairstyle instead it was now tangled mess, blood dripping from her face down her nose mixing with her tears. Her skin paled and then turned white, her clothes covered in dirt. She was covered in wounds and bruises and cuts.
The screams and wails were now soft sobs and whines. Finally the chains and hand released Macaque, he immediately launched forward to Liu. He fell to his knees next her her, when he touched her pushed him away.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" she screamed her eyes squeezed shut, her body immediately curling into a ball,
"Liu! Liu! It's me, it's me..." Macaque tried to assure her.
He softly grazed her arm gliding go her hand and holding it gently.
"Liu please....Liu, look at me please..." Macaque begged. He grabbed her hand, he didn't care if he got blood on it, but he needed to hold her, he couldn't lose her, he just couldn't. When she didn't pull away he slowly cupped her face with his other hand brushing the hair out of her eyes. His fingers brushing over the wet and dried blood.
"Macaque?" she asked looking up at him. Tears flowed freely from her red eyes. He smiled softly,
"I'm here-" he stopped when he realized how wide her eyes were.
Macaque looked at her confused,
"Hey what's.." he trailed off noticing her eyes no longer shook. His eyes widened as he realized.
"I..I can see you."
