𝙶𝚑𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚢'𝚜 𝙿𝚘𝚟:

SHIT!
I was angry, angry at myself.
It was all my fault.
I had failed to protect Rae. If only we didn't forget invisibility potions. Now Rae was trapped again.
I quickly ran back to the base to explain what happened.
When I got into the base, I saw Will, Jamie, Athena and Momboo in their seats at the meeting table. Next to Will, stood Seven.
"Why's Seven here?" I questioned as I walked closer to the table.
"He wanted to join us after I told him that Sherbert was practically using him as a servant," Will explained.
"Where's Doc?" Athena questioned, noticing that Rae wasn't with me.
"Right, so me and Rae went outside for some fresh air and kinda forgot invisibility potions. When outside, we were sitting by the nearby lake when suddenly Centross and Sherbert came up behind us and Centross grabbed Rae. I tried to get them to let go of Rae, but I couldn't succeed. God knows where they took Rae now" I explained as tears started to aggressively run down my face.
"Hey it's okay, Ghosty, we'll get Rae back" Momboo said softly.
"How? We don't even know where they've taken him" I cried.
"They most likely took him to one of their bases, most likely the closest one to us as they probably think we would go look for Doc at their new base" Athena stated logically.
"Well, what are we waiting for, let's get geared up and rescue Rae" Jamie cheered.
"Won't they be expecting this though?" Seven questioned.
"Seven has a point, we need to come up with a plan if we are going to have any chance at rescuing Rae" Will agreed.
"Well then we best start planning" Momboo said, sending me a small smile that helped slow my tears slightly.
𝚁𝚊𝚎'𝚜 𝙿𝚘𝚟:
It had only been about ten fifteen minutes since I had first been pushed into the cell and I was already done with it.
I was sat in the corner furthest from the door and was playing with the crown that was on my head.
I don't know why I kept inspecting it so much. It hadn't changed at all since I had first seen it, so I didn't know why I was continuously looking at it.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard the cell door open and someone walk in and walk towards me.
"Stand up," a voice said from above me. I instantly knew it was David as Sherbert and Easton had left the base a couple minutes prior to make sure that no one was coming towards the base. Or at least I think that's what they're doing, they could be doing something else though.
When I didn't stand up, David grabbed a hold of my wrist and yanked me up off the floor, causing me to drop my crown in the process. He then let go of my wrist and bent down, picking up my crown off the floor and placing it back on my head. However, the way he placed it caused it to fall over my eyes. He took it off before putting back in my head again, however, this time, it was put on correctly.
"Stay," Centross said as he left the cell to grab something.
When he came back, he grabbed a hold off my wrists and tied them together with rope. He then made sure that it was tight enough that I couldn't move my hands but loose enough that it would give me rope burns on my wrists.
David grabbed my arm after inspecting his work and started to lead me out of the cell. Well, I say lead but it was more like him dragging me out. He then began leading me out of the base, where Sherbert and Easton were waiting.
"Make sure no one sees us," David commanded.
"Sure, but currently no one is out from their hiding place so it should be safe to move Rae without being caught" Sherbert stated.
It was like I was invisible by the way Ominous Bane were talking to each other in front of me. Although, in a way it was a good thing as it may help me with escaping.
"It better be Sherb, because if it isn't, there will be issues because if I lose Rae, Enderian will be angry that I failed the task she set me" Centross said angrily, grabbing the alchemist by the jacket with both his hands. This allowed me to start sneaking away as all of Ominous Bane were occupied.
David and Sherbert were shouting at each other. Meanwhile, Easton was just watching the pair and completely ignored the fact that I was getting away.
When I was at a safe distance, I began running away from the Ominous Bane base and towards the Auspicious Boone base.
𝙲𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚘𝚜𝚜' 𝙿𝚘𝚟:
When I was done shouting at Sherbert, I went to grab ahold of Rae again. However, when I did, Rae was no longer there.
"SHIT!" I shouted aloud. I immediately took off into the air and started to look around for Rae from above the town.
𝚁𝚊𝚎'𝚜 𝙿𝚘𝚟:
I continued to run and made sure that I was hidden under trees as I did so. I knew that David would most likely be looking for me from the sky, so I knew that if I was running out in the open it would be easier for him to find me.
As I got close to the Auspicious Boone base, I sat down beneath a tree and began to try to untie the rope around my wrists. That was until I heard footsteps and some quiet mumbles heading my way, causing me to stop all movements.
𝙰𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚗𝚊'𝚜 𝙿𝚘𝚟:
Jamie, Will, Seven and I had left the base and began to head to the old Ominous Bane base. We now had a secure plan of how we were going to rescue Doc. Meanwhile, Ghosty and Momboo stayed in the Auspicious Boone base as Ghosty was in no condition to participate in the rescue mission and Momboo was making sure he was okay.
The four of us were all walking through the forest, as it would help save some invisibility potions, when I suddenly heard quick breathing.
"Do you guys hear that?" I whispered, stopping in my tracks.
"No, what do you hear, Athena?" Jamie and Will asked at the same time in response.
"I hear quick breathing like someone is out of breath from running" I explained.
"Well, I did a quick scan of the area and there is in fact another being nearby" Seven said and began walking in the direction I heard the breathing coming from.
Jamie, Will and I followed Seven until he came to a stop. As we did so, we were discussing shi we thought the breathing could belong too. Although, there weren't many options. It was either Rae, Easton, Centross or Sherbert.
Jamie, Will and I all looked past Seven to see why he had stopped, only to see a familiar face sat at the base of a tree with rope around their wrists.
Rae.
I instantly ran over to him and hugged him.
"Athena?" He questioned. However, before I had a chance to reply, Jamie joined the hug from beside me.
"Are you okay, Rae?" Will asked, walking closer to us.
"Yeah, minus the rope on my wrists that is" Rae replied once me and Jamie had stopped hugging him.
"I hate to ruin the moment, at least I think it's what you humans would say, but Centross has found us" Seven interrupted.
"Shit" Rae cursed out standing up off the ground. I pulled out an invisibility potion from out of my pocket and handed it to Rae. However, before he could use it, Centross appeared behind us.
"That would be a waste of a potion, don't you think?" He laughed menacingly.
"We're not letting you take Rae again" I said in a raised voice.
"Oh Athena, I'm afraid you don't get a say in the matter, after all, I'm just following the orders set by his mother" Centross smirked.
𝚁𝚊𝚎'𝚜 𝙿𝚘𝚟:
"I don't care about what Enderian has told you to do, I'm not letting you take Rae" Athena said, getting angry. In all the time I had known Athena, never once have I seen them get this angry at someone.
"Who said I would be the one taking Rae?" Centross laughed, a smirk still present on his face. Suddenly, I felt two hands grab ahold of my arms.
Sherbert and Easton.
"What do you mean?" Athena questioned as Sherbert and Easton began dragging me away. I tried to struggle away from their grasps, but it was no use. They were holding onto my arms too tightly for me to escape.
"RAE" I heard Jamie shout as they noticed what was going on.
"Stop struggling Rae, you won't be escaping " Sherbert laughed.
As soon as we were far enough away from Athena, Jamie, Will and Seven, David appeared in front of us and stopped Sherbert and Easton in their tracks.
"It's time, I'll take him from here" David stated.
Easton was the first to let go of my arm and their hand was soon replaced with Centross'. Sherbert soon let go after that.
Centross then began to guide me back to the stronghold, meanwhile, Sherbert and Easton had flown back to the old Ominous Bane base.
??????'𝚜 𝙿𝚘𝚟:
I had managed to leave the base undetected and was now following Centross to the stronghold.
He had a hand tightly on Rae's arm and was dragging him along.
Centross was going to pay for taking Rae and if Rae is hurt in any way, things are going to be a lot worse for him.
No one and I mean no one is going to get away with hurting Rae.
𝙲𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚘𝚜𝚜' 𝙿𝚘𝚟:
Rae and I had finally made it to the stronghold, but I couldn't help but feel like someone was following us the whole journey. However, I just ignored the feeling as each time I would look over my shoulder, no one was there.
I was walking towards the portal, with Rae still in my grasp, when suddenly a sword was held against my throat, causing me to let go of Rae.
Rae quickly moved to be behind me and whoever was holding the blade to my throat.
"It's over Centross," the person said. I knew instantly who it was. There was no doubt about it.
