Abby's POV.
One month down, one to go. It's horrible. Senior year is the hardest school year I've experienced. So many tests, so much homework, so much pressure. I'm invited to about 20 parties a night, but I end up staying in studying and calling Cam; the two main things in my life at the moment. I just want senior year to fly by so I can take my gap year, and settle down with Cameron. I take out my english text book and notebook, do all the stuff I have to do then head to starbucks; my happy place. Whenever I want a break, peace, I just go there. It has everything I need. Wifi, coffee, food, and bathrooms. I grab my bag and pop in my phone, dorm keys, money and my starbucks card and head to starbucks.
I order a sandwich and a latte and sit down at the window. It's a rainy day in San Diego. Don't get many of those. I take out my phone, and scroll twitter.
"@camerondallas: ever have that feeling when you miss someone so much, you just want to jump on a plane and see them?" Is he talking about me? I tap on FaceTime and search for Cam's icon and call him; video call. After only one ring he picks up.
"Abby!" He squeals. Good thing I have earphones in.
"Cameron." I sigh.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Hey, I know when somethings up."
"School."
"Aww poor baby. Are you at starbucks then?"
"Obviously."
"You retweeted my tweet."
"And?"
"Just pointing it out."
"I miss you Cam."
"I miss you too. It's not the same without you."
"It never is." I sigh. We continue talking for hours, and then I head back to the dorm.
"Been to starbucks?" Katie asks. She's curled up in a corner, eyes puffy, face red tissues sprawled around the room.
"Oh my god! Katie what the hell happened? Are you okay?" I whisper not wanting to wake up anyone as it's late. I hug her, and play with her hair.
"I miss Matt." She whimpers.
"Aww Katie." I pull her closer so that her head is resting in my lap. I don't know if we can last another month. I spot her phone and see she was talking to Matt for 3 hours 54 minutes. Shit, no wonder. We sit there, and I end up crying too then we head to bed.
