I really wanted to make a Part 2 of this story so here it is, I just loved how Clary and Alec's friendship had evolved in the books and wish they had more screentime in the TV Show, I may also have a slight current obsession with Elvis after seeing the Austin Butler Film 😆
Clary couldn't help but wince as her 3 week old son let's out a high pitched squeal from the top of his lungs.
"Jonathan Baby Please not so loud Mommy has a really bad headache," she mumbled. Clary was currently sat at one of the tables in the catering section of The New York Institute with Jace, Magnus, Alec, Celine, Rafael, Max and Jonathan having breakfast, but it was the morning after that Clary and Alec had went out patrolling and drinking and Clary had the worst headache that was pounding from the back of her eyes, not having the slightest appetite for the food in front of her.
Jace who was sat next to her gave Clary a kiss on the forehead "It's just a little hangover," he said "It'll pass."
Alec who was sat from across the table lets out a laugh, he looked worse then Clary felt, his hair wild and all over the place in curls, his eyes bloodshot with bags under his eyes, Alec was so pale that he almost looked as Green as Ragnor Fell, "A little Hungover is an understatment," he then buried his face into his arms and leaned against the table letting out a groan and a few muffled mumbles that no one could understand what Alec was saying.
Celine frowned looking up from her plate of Pancakes "Mommy Sick Again?" she asked. Clary couldn't help but show the physical pain on her face that she felt as her heart started to break into pieces with every word that left her daughter's mouth.
Clary was speechless, she wanted to say something opening her mouth but then closing it again not knowing what to say or how, Without hesitating Jace answered for her being Clary's voice in moments like these, "No Angel, Mommy's just really tired from fighting Demons all night with Uncle Alec."
Clary lets out a grateful breath of pure relief, she naturally, without realising that she was actually doing it reached her hand underneath the table and interlocked her hand into Jace's giving it a squeeze. Immediately Jace squeezed back without having to say anything, he didn't need too, it was as if him and his Wife have always had this connection that they even developed their own secret language through hand squeezes and looks to the eye without having to say a single word, it grew even stronger since Clary and Jace have become Parents.
Right now Clary knew exactly what Jace was saying to her.
'I've Got You, I have always got you.'
Magnus frowned looking at his husband, he clicked his fingers towards Alec's direction, "Alexander Come on you need to eat-"
Alec however didn't budge and his face stayed buried into the table realising even more mumbles that no one still couldn't understand but sounded along the lines of "IsweartoGodMagunsmfmfffmBaconNearMeIWillmfmfmfmfmfmsthrowupalloveryouralskdtmymwlwpclbldVersaceRobe!"
Magnus blinked, "What?"
Alec lets out another groan and lifted his head up so that he was pratically glaring daggers at his husband, "I Swear To God Magnus," he said through gritted teeth "If You Even Put One Piece Of Bacon Into My Face I Will Puke All Over Your Versace Robe!"
Jace let's out a snort, whereas Magnus self consciously tugged at his robe, scootching his chair a few inches away "You wouldn't dare," he said. Alec stabbed a fork into his scrambled eggs but was only playing with the food on his plate, "Try me."
Magnus lets out a huff "Well Then You Shouldn't Of Gone Out Drinking Then Should You?"
Alec winced a little "Magnus not so loud-" he mumbled starting to massage his temples with his fingers, something that Magnus does a lot when hungover himself.
Magnus rolled his eyes and dipped a Bread Roll into a Pot of Melted Hot Chocolate like they do in Paris, "Anything you say King of Rock," he mumbled under his breath before taking a bite. Alec choked on his Orange juice at this and caused juice to squirt out of his nostrils, "Excuse me?" Clary had stopped buttering her toast and met eyes with Alec as both Jace and Magnus burst into fits of laughter.
"What?" asked Clary.
Alec blinked taken back by Magnus and Jace's sudden outburst and the fact that they were laughing together was something else entirely, something Alec never thought he would see in his entire life time.
"Its not that funny," Alec mumbled.
"Oh but it is!" Magnus wheezed wiping a few fallen tears, "I'm sorry Alexander darling but you and biscuit were hilarious last night."
Jace was clutching his stomach "You thought you were Elvis and- and-Did the-Moon Walk-LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON!"
Alec buried his face into his hands yet again, "Oh. My. God."
"No the Best Part Was Alec saying Red Heads would be his type if he was straight!" Magnus choked out, "Alec couldn't even stand the sight of Clary at first-"
"Or any Woman at all!" Jace snorted out.
This only made them laugh even more violently, Clary frowned a little, Alec still had his face buried into his hands, neither of them had found this funny in the slightest, if anything Clary and Alec were embarrassed. The kids however just looked at each other with pure confusion as to what was going on, even Jonathan looked lost and was turning his head towards each direction where one spoke.
Magnus cleared his throat and started to impersonate Alec, "I love you Wifey!"
"No no no! Its-" Jace then puts on a high pitched voice "WE LOVE YOU ALEC! YOU ARE SO SEXY WHEN YOU THRUST THOSE HIPS OF YOURS! LET US WORSHIP YOU AND KISS YOUR-"
Alec threw a Pain Au Chocolate across the table, it hitting Jace right in the face. Jonathan let's out a small gasp his pupils widening as Clary let's out a snort biting the bottom of her lip and having to turn her face away from the table so she could let out a giggle. Alec had a small satisfied smile of victory on his face and gave Jace the middle finger as if it was nothing.
"Alexander-" Magnus gasped, his face looking as if Alec had just thrown up all over his Versace Robe or had murdered Charmain Meow right in front of him, "Not in front of the kids!" This made Max and Rafe start to giggle.
"Did you...Did you just throw a Pain Au Chocolate at me?" asked Jace.
"You bet he did," said Clary "You were being an ass."
Celine snorted a little she always found it hilarious whenever Clary would scold or tell off Jace.
"Oh C'mon Clare that was hilarious!" said Jace "You'd never think that you would see You and Alec getting wasted-"
"And Together," Magnus added.
"We're allowed to have fun too y'know," Alec mumbled.
"We're not saying that you aren't," said Magnus "We just- We just-"
"Just what?" asked Alec raising an eyebrow. Magnus lowered his voice as he trailed off the next sentence "Didn't expect you too-"
"And What?" asked Clary "You don't believe anything that we said last night?"
"Did you expect us too?" asked Jace.
Clary gave Jace a look,
"But it happened," she said "All of it did."
"What? You and Alec performing Karoke and having Girls scream, cry and faint at the sight of him?" asked Jace "As if he was Elvis? One You two are the most socially awkward people that I know in those situations, how many times that I've actually seen you sit out during one of Simon's gigs while the rest of us get up to dance is one too many to even count-"
"You cannot call Simon's band music," interrupted Alec "Every performance had been absaloute torture to even listen too-"
"Its not just Simon's gigs though," said Magnus quitely, "There's been the pandemonium where you wouldn't touch a single drop of alcohol -"
"Pregnant twice," Clary mumbled "and then breast feeding."
"And Two," continued Jace "All those Girls really? That kind of thing never happens to Alec-"
"And What?" asked Clary "It only happens to you?"
"Exactly," said Jace.
Clary shook her head a little,
"Look," Jace sighed "I'm sorry okay? But It's what we think."
"No," Clary said "Its fine really, we all have our opinions."
"Clary-"
Clary kissed Jace on the cheek and gave him a smile "Really, it's all good."
Jace nor Magnus looked convinced but everyone turned back to their breakfast, even Alec had finally started to eat his Bacon in silence.

"Java Jones now has delivery service want me to order some Coffee and Doughnuts?" asked Clary.
Jace and Magnus had both decided to take the Kids out to the Park this morning so that Clary and Alec could have a few extra hours to themselves and rest before the Chaos of the day and parenthood continues.
"I'd do anything for a coffee right now," Alec mumbled running his fingers through his hair, he had only just finished getting dressed and had a little more colour in his cheeks compared to at Breakfast. "Me too," Clary nodded with agreement as she pulled out her phone from her back Jeans pocket and had made their order.
Between them Alec and Clary had finished Two entire boxs of Twelve Doughnuts with every two being a different flavour from: The Classic Original Glaze, Reese's Peanut Butter, The Pink iced bun filled with Strawberry Jam in the middle, Nutty Nutella, Coffee and Cream, Apple Pie and the Chocolate and Strawberry ring covered in multi coloured sprinkles.
"So fucking good," said Alec as he licked frosting from his lips.
"So good," said Clary as she downed her last drop of Black Coffee.
"Y'know what?"
"What?"
"Screw them," said Alec "Screw both Jace and Magnus, we were drunk, not stupid."
"I know right?" Said Clary "Yet they're allowed to do it all the time and it is no trouble!"
"Exactly, I had a blast with you last night," said Alec taking another sip from his coffee.
Clary could feel a small smile tug at the corner of her lips as she looked at Alec remembering the events of the previous night as if she hasn't touched a single drop of alcohol, still so clear in her mind "Me too," she said.
Clary's comment made Alec smile "You did?" He asked.
Clary nodded "Of course I did...Mr Presley," she said giving him a wink, "I won't tell anyone your secret."
Alec started to chuckle and shook his head with amusement "And I with you Priscilla."
"Seriously though, Since when do you ever dance? And like that!"
"I should say the same thing about you," said Alec "Those guys were practically drawling over you Mama."
Clary started to blush "I don't know," she said "I grew up watching Elvis Movies-"
"Me too," said Alec quietly stirring of what remained in his Coffee cup with a small wooden stirrer, "I discovered Elvis when I used to steal Isabelle's Mundane Magazines and I just fell in love with the man, I watched every single one of his movies on illegal websites and I studied his choreography and dances until I could even do them in my sleep, doing it made me really happy and myself when back in the closet..."
"C'mon," said Clary getting up from the couch in the living room "Get up."
"What?"
Clary took out her hand giving Alec a smile "C'mon you said dancing made you happy so we are going to stay happy despite how hung over we are."
Alec blinked at Clary's hand "You're serious?"
"Of course I am, why shouldn't we, Because Jace and Magnus doesn't believe us? And I think it should be a Parent Pact Tradition-"
"What Dancing?" asked Alec.
"Yes! We just need to let out our inner kid and just not care for once, we should do things we never get to do as you said at the Diner, even if its stuffing our faces with Doughnuts and dancing in the institute, no one's here to judge us."
Alec nodded a little clearly considering this, "Yeah..." he took Clary's hand and pulled himself up from the couch "Yeah let's do it."
"Hell Yeah!" Clary cheered and gave Alec a high five, she then ran into Simon's bedroom to get his Bluetooth speakers and returned all giddy. Alec raised an eyebrow with curiosity eyeing what was in Clary's arms "What's that?" he asked as Clary puts the speakers onto one of the tables, she took out her phone and goes onto the Spotify app, "Alec meet our new Bestfriend," said Clary just as Elvis Presley's 'Trouble' blasted through the entire institute.
"Clary...I fricking Love You Right Now!" Alec yelled over the music beaming like a child waking up and opening presents on Christmas day, it was as if Alec and Clary were transported to their very own night club with how loud the music was, Alec could feel the vibrations through the floor and the walls were even shaking. "No one cares!" Clary yelled back reminding Alec to just let loose and to just do what makes him happy.
So Alec did.
Almost immediately Alec let the music take over him and he started to dance and sing his heart out with Clary by his side belting out the lyrics and laughing her head off as she whipped her hair from side to side and around, they were even using the TV remotes as microphones.

Clary and Alec burst into laughter as the song ended, "You've still got it Mr Lightwood Bane," said Clary.
Alec takes a mocking bow laughing, "Well I think that it calls for another, don't you Mrs Lightwood Bane?"
Clary couldn't stop laughing and did a mocking curtsy "I think that it does Mr Lightwood Bane," just as 'Hound Dog' started to play.
Alec gently held both of Clary's hands into his "Well then," he said with a mischievous smile and spark to his eyes "What's stopping us?"
Nothing did, Without even knowing what they were doing Alec and Clary danced in full swing as they did the previous night during Karaoke, they even ended up dancing on the tables and furniture while singing along.
Alec and Clary couldn't stop the smiles from growing onto their faces as they looked at eachother continuing the joyous laughter.

They both kicked their feet both high and low in sync and without stepping onto each others toes, spinning one another without getting tangled up or dizzy to then Alec pulling Clary through the gap between his legs to lift and flip her over his back making Clary squeal with delight as she landed back onto her two feet and the song resumed to the chorus.

The dance was full of energy with their hands interlocking and arms wrapped around each others waist, Alec and Clary always bouncing from one foot to the other and the laughter only increasing until they could no longer breathe.
The dance ended with Clary and Alec striking a dramatic pose while still holding onto each other and catching their breaths, Alec and Clary looked at one another with the widest of smiles on their face's and speckles of sweat dampening their hair.
"What the-"
Clary lets out a gasp and suddenly couldn't find her balance while standing on the table, "Fuck! Clary-" Alec cursed as the table gave way and Clary and Alec both fell onto the floor, Alec landing on top of Clary with a loud thump.
The next song of 'Suspicious Minds' started to play through the speakers making Alec and Clary burst into a fit of giggles and laughter with neither of them actually giving a care in the entire world.
Standing at the door frame was Jace who had Jonathan balanced against his hip and Magnus with Celine, Rafael and Max. They all mirrored the same facial expressions with eyes open wide and jaws dropping to the floor in the shape of an O completely stunned, Jonathan had even dropped Clary's stele which he had a strong attachment too.
Jonathan then started to clap his hands and squeal, Clary couldn't help but smile while looking at her baby upside down "Hi Baby," she gave Jonathan a small wave.
"Dad what are you doing on top of Aunt Clary ?" asked Max.
"Excellent question," said Magnus.
Erruptingly and in a rather Clumsy fashion Alec and Clary both shot back up onto their feet almost crashing into each other again as they do so, Clary goes to turn off the Speakers. "So..." Clary let's out a nervous chuckle of embarrassment "How long have you um...been standing there-" her voice trailed off and could feel the heat burning at her cheeks, she wouldn't be surprised if she was the same colour as her hair.
Jace blinked, judging by the look of astonishment on their face's everyone had seen the entire dance. "Honey are you alright?" He asked, Jace generally looked concerned.
"Honestly? I feel fricking fantastic," Clary replied with full honesty and the biggest of smiles.
"What have I just watched?" asked Magnus to no one in particular.
Alec rubbed the back of his neck "Um...a Dance routine to Hound Dog by Elvis Presely?" Alec's voice went slightly higher pitched and answered as if it were a question. Neither Magnus or Jace said anything, they couldn't say anything, they were completely speechless. Magnus opened his mouth as if to say something but then closed it again.
"It was awesome," Alec added quitely now staring at the floor.
"Wait," started Jace struggling for words "so you mean to tell us that...that all that Elvis Crap you were babbling on about last night was..."
"Absaloutely true?" asked Clary with a slight smirk tugging at the corner of her lips "Yeah... every single word, we were maybe drunk, but we weren't stupid."
"The Dolly Parton Waitress, The Fake Marriage, The Girls...all of it," said Alec with a casual yet cocky smile, knowing that he and Clary had proved them both wrong "Belive it or not We know how to have fun."
"And we loved every single second of it," added Clary.
Clary and Alec watched as the Colour physically drained from their spouses face's, "I think I'm going to need a lie down," Magnus mumbled.
"I think I'll join you," said Jace.
"What's wrong?" Clary asked with a sly smile, battering her eyelashes with inneconce "Don't you want an encore?" Clary had always loved teasing her husband with every chance that she got, especially when it proves that she is right and every time she does it frustrates Jace more than anything, it had always been rather amusing to watch.
"B-but...I-I don't understand..." Magnus stuttered out, he looked completely lost more than anything which was a first "H-how did you learn to dance like that? I've never seen you dance like that even at our own wedding!"
"And when on earth did You two become the best of friends?" asked Jace
Alec shrugged his shoulders casually "The Parent Pact," he said.
"The Parent What Now?" asked Jace he looked equally lost and confused as Magnus.
Alec and Clary glance at each other and start to laugh as Magnus and Jace did to them earlier at breakfast.
"What's so funny?" asked Jace.
"First rule about The Parent Pact," said Clary "Never talk about the Parent Pact."
Celine looked up at Jace giving him an amused look that had always been similar to his own "Karma Dad," she giggled before casually walking off with Max and Rafe leaving Jace even more bewildered and dazed with what had just happened.
