You were wiggling your hips as you jumped, desperately trying to put your white laced corset on. It was a pain but to conserve your perfect cupid aesthetic, it had to fit. And then it slid down your body like a charm. You signed satisfied, as you replaced a few of your curlers in your pink died hair. Nobody could guess you were a (h/c). Satisfied, you started humming and then you turned around to bump into a man's chest. There were heart designs on his shirt and-
"What are you doing here!?" you shouted as you reached to cover your chest by reflex.
"I've already seen you naked so half-dressed is nothing." He responded so his devil fruit was activated.
"That's beyond the point! I don't have makeup on and I look like a mess." you wailed
"I've also seen you without makeup."
"It's normal between husband and wife but also beyond the point! What are you doing here?"
The inconceivably tall man raised a hand and executed a spinning motion with his wrist. "Let me help you out, love." You sighed before executing yourself as you attempted to smooth your long silk pink skirt. You felt his rough fingers slide into the strings. "Your dress's looking fine," he said, soothing, before pulling Satan's trap. You gasped as you reach for your stomach. "Not that tight!"
"Oh, sorry." He loosened it and - "Oh, I made the bow around my finger." And again, and again, finally, he achieved as you tried your very best to hold your laughter. You were red as a tomato from holding back when the man noticed. "You can laugh."
He didn't need to say it twice. You shook from laughter, tears rolling down your cheeks. After a moment, you removed the remaining of your tears with a finger as you regained your composure. "What are you doing here Corazon?"
The blonde man closed his eyes as he sat on the edge of your bed. "Doffy's planning something." He intertwined his fingers as he leaned forward. This conversation was getting serious and you hated it. You preferred carefree small talks. Some could say you've picked the wrong profession.
You sat at the dressing table, allowing yourself to sink in your cushion chair. You reached for your makeup bag. "Do you have any precision?" You asked as you applied your pink eyeshadow.
"A kid, the name's Law, I think."
You laughed as you finished taking care of your eyes. You reached to pull out a lipstick. You drew your famous heart on your lips and let go of the stick. The poor little thing fell into the bag with a loud thump as you smiled to your ally. "You think?"
"Woah, you took care of your eyes quickly," he whistled.
"Don't try to change the subject!"
He laughed. "You got me." He scratched the back of his head. "I'm not sure about the kid's name."
"Have you reached out to the headquarters?"
"It's too early for that."
"This is where I have to disagree, Rosinante." You stood up as you slid your upper body closer to the mirror to apply your eyeliner. As always, you curved the end in small little hearts. "But, your rank is higher than mine. The final decision is yours to make. However, if you took the time to come by my room, it's because you wanted my insight, am I correct?" you stated as you applied your blush.
"Your correct." He said as he threw his back on the mattress. "Woah, your mattress's so soft. Why is mine firm?" He grumbled. You couldn't sleep together as his brother couldn't be aware of your past whereabouts. He didn't know your full name either. Sadly it meant you had to sacrifice your conjugal life but this was for the greater good.
"Anyway, we'll have to keep an eye on this boy. My brother's a bit too interested in him. It hides something."
You hummed accordingly as you removed the curlers. Your hair curled up and bounced against your cheeks. You slid your feet in the pink flats that served the purpose of shoes and put the final touch on : your heart headband. You looked like a cupid. It ressembled your devil fruit. After all, you had to kiss those you wanted to help. "Let's not worry too much for now. Let's see where the little fella brings us. If anything happens, I'll be there to put ya back up with a kiss."
"I know you will, (y/n)."
You seated on your knees, next to him as you reached for his cheek, kissing it carefully, right under his lipstick. He smelled like cherry cigarettes. "Let's get back to work."

You were exploring the scrap yard for the hundredth time in research for clues about Doflamingo's plans when an unidentified floating object broke through the window and cut through the air as it loudly crashed into the mountain of scrap metal.
"He fell into the mountain of scrap metal-dasuyan."
He? OH, LORD. It's a child!
You rushed to the silhouette. The young lad was crawling out of the metallic scraps when you reached him and kneeled by his side. "Oi, Kiddo. Are you ok?" He pushed you away as he stood up violently, boiling with anger. "He threw me out of the window! Is he insane!?" The boy pointed to a pink and white figure surrounded by a thick purpleish feather coat : Corazon. The fact he threw a boy out of a window made you mad even though you knew it was all in order to conserve his character.
"Oh, look at you, you're bleeding," you sang comfortingly as you reached for the boy's forehead. He took a step back. "And who the hell are you!? Are you going to throw me too!?"
"I am C.U.P.I.D (y/n). I'm here to compensate for Corazon's misbehaviours." you introduced yourself as you leaned closer to the young lad. "Now, let me kiss those meant scratches away, okay?" He struggled to flee from your hold. "Stop fussing! Just a little kiss on the cheek won't hurt ya Law!"
"DON'T TOUCH ME. YOU'RE WEIRDER THAN HIM." Him? Oh, he has to mean Corazon. You pinched his cheeks as you giggled. "If you want your pain to go away, you have to let me."
"That's a nursery rhyme it doesn't work!"
You laughed. "It's my devil fruit. I ate the iyashiwo-iyashiwo mi. A small peck from me and your problems vanish. Your wounds will disappear and your worries will vanish for a moment."
"...just a tiny one."
So a small peck on the cheek it was and almost instantly, his blood went back within his body as the wounds closed slowly.
"Thanks..."

Loud determined step after the other, you walked through the corridors looking for the devilishly handsome blonde demon that is your husband. "But where is he?" you thought out loud. You kept looking for a moment. You wouldn't be surprised if you looked like a mad lady walking around. However, your search eventually ended when you fell upon the recognizable tall silhouette along with the strong smell of cigarettes. Corazon was looking out the window, lost in his thoughts. Not for long..."You went too far Corazon. Throwing a boy through a window, have ya lost it?"
He looked away as he puffed, the smoky cloud escaping his mouth. He snapped his fingers together and the silencious bubble surrounded the both of you. He slid his fingers against your heart-shaped lips. "I did it to keep my undercover. I'm seen as a violent clown over here."
"And that was ya solution!?" you pushed his hand away. He could try cajoling you all he wanted, it would be of no help this time.
"You're mad?"
"What do ya think!? Ya could have killed him!"
"You're always hanging out there at this time of the day."
That was it, your patience and understanding were running low. "Rosinante." He took a step back, swallowing. When you made that face and used that tone, no matter how inoffensive you might look all in pink, he wasn't fooled. He was scared for his life whenever you clenched your teeth at him. "What if I had to go pee? I wouldn't have been there, right? What do ya think would have happened then!?"
"I'm sorry."
So things kept going as normal, only with Law around until..."My name is Trafalgar D. Water Law."
This sentence was the one that changed your life forever along with the "yes, I do."
Since that day, you and Corazon both covered Law with your careful eyes until you both ran away along with the distressed boy. Eventually Doffy catched up and you got trapped by Diamant. Corazon followed the requests you had told him in the beginning of this adventure ; "Law's is our priority. If we have to split up, promise me to leave without looking behind ya. I'd do the same if ya are the one who's incapacitated. Ok?" The moment you finally managed to escape, it was already too late. Donquixote Rosinante was no more and Law had evaporated out of thin air. You were devastated. You could only cry over memories and your alliance but those tears soon dried out when you discovered the boy had survived. You started your research.

Life can be good sometimes or maybe was it sheer luck that you fell upon the one you seek after all those years. A tall and lean man that stood with natural charisma, handsome and full of tribal tattoos. He was surrounded by a crowd around a yellow submarine ; the Polar Tang, their ship. Your heart filled with pride as you exited your hiding place and walk toward the group. You were immediately seen and their hands reached for their weapons. "Captain!"
You gasped for air, your hands reaching for your chest when you saw Law's face. You knew he had recognized you immediately; the sparkles in his eyes spoke for himself. "Cupid-san."
"Look how you've grown into a fine young fella."
He walked toward you slowly, his eyes never leaving yours. "Cupid-san," he repeated.
It was unreal, the boy you had once protected was now a man. You laid a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry he couldn't be there for ya Law. When I managed to escape, it was already too late, love. I tried to find ya but you're one sneaky little fella. It's not a good thing for a lil' lady like me to run around like that ya know?" you laughed, and you opened your arms for him to hug you. You wouldn't have been surprised if he refused but he didn't. He slid himself into your embrace, hiding his face in the crook of your neck. You scrubbed his back gently as you used to for him to fall asleep back in the days but this time your neck was wet with tears. He did his best to be unphased though, not wanting his crew to see him being so vulnerable. He couldn't handle the questions. You kissed him on the cheek and his tears dried out. "I don't wanna see ya cry. After all these years I just wanna see ya smile. Come on now, give me your best smile."
"You cheater," he said as he pointed his eyes.
"Since when is using our own devil fruit called cheating? I never received that update!"
So he gave you his brightest smile.
