The scene opens to Bakugo, Izuku, Kuuga, Fuyumi, and Todoroki sitting together in the dining room.
Izuku: "Your brother…?"
Fuyumi: "Oh, you haven't told Midoriya, Kiriu, and Bakugo about Toya."
Todoroki: "That's not something I'm going to volunteer for."
Fuyumi: "Natsu and Toya were very close. They played together all the time. It happened soon after Mom was hospitalised. Her condition ended up getting even worse. Even Shoto couldn't go see her. But we got past that. Shoto went to visit her. Our family's been making progress. Only Natsu… can't let go of his hostility. In his mind, Dad killed Toya."
Kuuga: (nods) "I see."
Bakugo: "So, that's why he was making that face."
Fuyumi: "Sorry to bring this up so suddenly."
Izuku: "N-Not at all!"
Kuuga: "It's our choice to listen, there's no need to apologise."
Endeavor suddenly enters the room, intervening with the conversation.
Endeavor: "It's time for me to take you back to school."
Izuku: "Oh, yes sir!"

The scene changes to the four Work Study students standing beside a black sedan with Bakugo entering the back while the other three thank Fuyumi while bowing.
Izuku: "Thank you for the meal! It was very delicious!"
Kuuga: "We are grateful for your hospitality."
Fuyumi: "Thank you!"
Bakugo: "Teach me the Sichuan mapo tofu recipe!"
Fuyumi: "Sure!"
Kuuga: "I got that covered already, Bakugo."
Bakugo: "Shut up! I'm not talking to you!"
Kuuga: "Okay."
Todoroki: "I'll have her text it to me."
Endeavor catches Fuyumi's attention.
Endeavor: "Fuyumi. Thank you."
Fuyumi smiles as she turns towards Izuku and grabs his hand.
Fuyumi: "Thank you for being Shoto's friend, Midoriya."
Izuku: "Oh, well… Thank you, too."
Fuyumi looks at Kuuga.
Fuyumi: "You, too as well, Kiriu."
Kuuga nods.
Fuyumi: "I'm honoured."

The scene changes to the same black sedan driving over the highway, inside the sedan, the four students are seen struggling for space in the rear.
Endeavor: "I'm going to train you guys up quickly. Going forward, in addition to weekends. You'll work two days a week if you can shift your schedules around."
Todoroki: "Last time, it was also like that for Uraraka, Kirishima, and the others."
Izuku: "We've also got to prepare for the finals. Todoroki, teach me some English."
Todoroki: "Sure."
Bakugo: "If you're Number One, get your hands on a bigger car!"
Kuuga: "Stop moving, Bakugo!"
Kurumada: "Oh, so a free ride isn't good enough for Mr. High Schooler!"
Izuku: (mentally) "What an aggressive driver!"
Kurumada: "Endeavor! Since when do you bring brats like him along for the ride?!"
Endeavor: "Ever since I was put at the top."
Kurumada: "Zounds! I guess success changes a man!"
Todoroki: "Zounds?"
Kuuga: (mentally) "What's a zound?"
Suddenly the lane lines of the road rose from the road, making Kurumada swerve.
Kurumada: "Zounds!"
From the white lines, They all looked out of the car window to see Natsuo being held captive by the lines.
Kuuga: "Villain!"
Todoroki: "Natsu?!"
Bakugo lowers the window and pokes his head out.
Kurumada: "Pull your head inside, brat!"
Izuku: "Mr. Kurumada! The white lines on the road!"
Kurumada: "Quit talking, you'll bite your tongue!"
The Villain named Ending, is seen standing in the middle of the road, manipulating the white lines on the road.
Ending: "Nice house you live in, Endeavor!"
Kurumada swerves to avoid the series of white lines while Endeavor jumps out of the car, activating his Quirk as he flies towards the villain.
Endeavor: "Let him go!"
Ending: "Do you…!"
Ending suddenly places Natsuo in front of him, making the Number One stop in his tracks.
Ending: "D-Do you remember me, Endeavor?!"
Endeavor: "Seven years ago, I stopped you from going on a rampage. You went by a villain name. It was-"
Ending: "Yes! That's right!"
Ending clasps his hands together as tears start to form around his eyes.
Ending: "Wow, you remember! I'm so happy! That's right, it's me! Ending!"
Endeavor: "I'll say it again, let him go!"
Ending: "Sorry, Endeavor. But you gotta understand. You had so many things I could never get, even in a million years. I admired you!"
The white lines holding Natsuo raise him up in the air.
Ending: "I have nothing to protect."
An arrow from the white lines suddenly points at Natsuo's head, ready to kill him.
Ending: "I'm willing to kill this guy! Please, Endeavor! Don't mess it up this time!"
Ending hugs himself.
Ending: "I want you… to kill me! Heroes don't kill even when things get crazy. But hey. You killed a Nomu, didn't you? I'm the same as that puppet. I could be alive or dead. It's hard to tell. So, don't fret over it! Burn me to ashes with those dazzling flames!"
The scene changes inside the sedan with Kuuga trying to open the door.
Kuuga: "We can't kick our way out because of the lines! Bakugo, blast it!"
Bakugo: "Move!"
He then blasts the window, allowing the four to get out.
Todoroki: "Let's go!"
Todoroki slides out with his ice while Bakugo blasts out. Kuuga and Izuku get out of the car and begin sprinting towards the villain.
Kuuga: "Let's go, Deku!"
Kurumada: "Hey, you brats! You forgot something!"
Kurumada flips a lever, making their hero suitcases fly out of the trunk. Izuku activates his Quirk and jumps to catch the suitcases and throws them to their respective owners.
Izuku: "Kacchan! Shoto! Zero!"
The three catch their own suitcase and begin wearing the components of their hero costume as they charge.
Bakugo: "I'll crush him!"
Todoroki: "I'll save Natsu!"
Kuuha: "I'll provide cover."
Izuku: "No matter what… we'll protect him!"
The four start getting closer.
Todoroki: "Natsuo!"
Kuuga: "I'll hold him!"
His purple eyes glow as black mist restrains Ending.
Kuuga: "Now-!"
White lines suddenly attack them and manage to push them back, hitting Bakugo and Kuuga, the black mist holding Ending fades away. Todoroki and Izuku manage to dodge and continue advancing.
Kuuga: "These lines won't stop me!"
His eyes glowed fiercely as spikes made out of black mists appeared and cut the white lines around him. Izuku flicks his finger and launches a massive force of wind at the lines, destroying it while Todoroki burns it away.
Bakugo lets out a huge blast, destroying all the lines around him.
Bakugo: "It's wintertime, all right?!"
Ending: "Work Study kids?!"
Ending jumps back, bringing Natsuo with him.
Ending: "Don't ruin my death! Let's start again, Endeavor, my hope!"
Endeavor charges again but instantly stops when Ending uses Natsuo to block his path. The four Work Study students run past him and continue chasing.
Ending: "O flame of my hope!" Looks like one son's life isn't enough to keep you from being a hero!"
Kuuga sees an opening and his eyes glow again.
Kuuga: (mentally) "An opening!"
Black mists restrains Ending again.
Kuuga: "Now!"
Todoroki activates his flames and leads the charge.
Todoroki: "Let Natsu go!"
Ending struggles from the mist.
Ending: "Because you won't hurry and kill me… More people are gonna end up dead!"
The other white lines then went for the nearby cars full of civilians and launched it in the air.
Kuuga: "He can still move?! Deku!"
Kuuga looks back and tries to assist in catching the cars but fails to notice the white lines holding Natsuo goes towards the train tracks, where he finds himself about to get hit by a train.
Bakugo suddenly blasts himself towards Natsuo and manages to get him out of death's door.
Bakugo: "No, more people won't!"
The black mist suddenly holds the three cars in the air in place, making Kuuga kneel to the road as his eyes start to bleed.
Kuuga: "I can't hold on to it much longer! Deku, now!"
Izuku: "I got it!"
The black mists fade away as Izuku uses his Black whips to catch the cars. Endeavor watches the fight with wide eyes.
Endeavor: (mentally) "In one week, you guys have…"
Kuuga, ignoring the bleeding from his eyes, turns back at Ending and restrains him again.
Kuuga: "I got him!"
Izuku: "None of your wishes… Will come true!"
Kuuga: "Shoto, there's your window!"
Todoroki: "Yeah."
Todoroki then encases the villain in ice, defusing the situation. Kuuga kneels down and wipes the blood dripping from his eye. Izuku goes to check on him.
Izuku: "Are you okay?"
Kuuga: "I'm fine. Thanks."
They noticed Endeavor hugging Natsuo with Bakugo standing nearby and points at Todoroki.
Bakugo: "What about White-Line Chump?!"
Todoroki: "He's been secured."
Ending: "It's not right! Not you… guys! It's wrong! All wrong!"
Bakugo points at Izuku and Kuuga.
Bakugo: "Damn Deku! Eye Bags! What about the mob?!"
Izuku: "If you mean everyone who was in the cars, they're fine!"
Izuku then pumps up.
Izuku: "It's a total victory!"
Kuuga: "True."
Bakugo: "Shaddup!"
Izuku: "Wh-Why?!"
Bakugo then makes a smug face and looks at Endeavor.
Bakugo: "What was it you said, Number One? This winter? Just once? Faster than me? Show me that you can capture a villain?!"
Endeavor replies while still hugging Natsuo.
Endeavor: "Yeah. You did great. You covered for my mistake, as quickly as possible."
Bakugo: "Tch. Suddenly he's all modest and crap."
Kuuga: "Bakugo."
Bakugo: "Get a little more frustrated!"
Kuuga: "Eh?"
Natsuo: "Let me go!"
Natsuo suddenly pushes himself away from Endeavor.
Endeavor: "I'm sorry. For a second, it crossed my mind. That if I rescued you, you might never… have anything to say to me, ever again."
Natsuo: "Huh?"
Endeavor: "Natsuo, it's okay if you don't believe me. It's not that I was shunning you guys. But I ran away, leaving you with the responsibility. I as good as killed Toya, too."
Natsuo: "It's not that you were shunning us? What, then? It's what Toya always told me you were doing. The day I forgive you… will never come."
Natsuo starts tearing up.
Natsuo: "Because I'm… not kind like Shoto!"
Endeavor: "Even so… Even so, don't you still show up for Fuyumi and Rei's sake? Fuyumi has an intense longing for family. Because I ruined things. Aren't you making that effort, so she won't lose faith that we can go back? That we can start over? You're kind, too. It's okay if you don't forgive me. I don't want your forgiveness, I want to atone."
Kuuga looks down and places his mechanical arm over his chest with flashbacks of him as a little kid standing alone in a dimly lit house.
Natsuo: "Sis seems so happy… But when I see your face, I end up remembering. Why should I have to actively change?! Atone? What the hell is there you can do?!"
Endeavor: "I have something in mind."
Ending suddenly bursts out crying.
Todoroki: "Hey!"
Ending: "Stop it, Endeavor! How can you be this way?! Stop! The fierce, arrogant flame! The dazzling light! My hope! Stop it! It's going out! No! Stop it, Endeavor!"

The scene changes to the Work Study students standing near Natsuo while a group of civilians watches them.
Civilian 1: "Hey, is that Shoto?"
Civilian 2: "Zero as well!"
Natsuo: "Uh, thank you for earlier. Um, your hero name…?"
Bakugo: "Huh?"
Izuku: "It's Bakugo, right?"
Bakugo: "Wrong."
Izuku: "Huh?! You chose a hero name?! Tell me!"
Bakugo: "No! I'll never tell you! Drop dead!"
Kuuga: "Can I hear it?"
Todoroki: "How about me?"
Bakugo: "Forget it! Both of you can drop dead, too! There's someone I'm gonna tell first."
From a distance, Endeavor observes them.
Endeavor: (mentally) "Hawks… Looks like you have a good eye after all."
