I stare into the darkness
A depth unfathomable
A fly trapped upon the spiders web
Struggling against the abominable
A husk upon intricate patterns
Beauty in mornings frost unstable
Weight upon shimmering web
Broken strands dangle memorable
Crisp and shimmering sunlight
Breath steaming as I ponder
The delicate beauty savagery is
Am I the fly upon the web I wonder
Every thrash sending vibrations
Across these frosted webs
Soon to be torn asunder.
