Jace's POV
"You're doing beautifully, Tesoro, just a few more pushes."
"Owen Everett Blackbourne, if you tell me to push one more time, I'm going to rip your dick off! And you, Gabriel Joseph Coleman, stop your damned laughing. You are in just as much trouble as he is. I swear I'm never having sex again! Fuck this hur.....ahhhhhhh!"
I had to hide my laughter. My Cricket had these fifteen men running in fear and anticipation. Then again, she did look like she was in lots of pain.
Dr. Roberts and Sean were checking her progress. "Almost there, Star." She gritted her teeth and tried to not kick him.
"Shhh, Valkyrie, just breathe." Nathan ran his hand across her lower back, a slight reddish green glow moving over her skin.
"Ohh, that feels nice, mo lochlannach,"
"Just a little sedative spell, love," he told her. Ever since the battle with Erebus, all of them had gotten much stronger in their gifts. His magical knowledge had grown by leaps and bounds. Odin had even asked both Nate and Gabe to visit Asgard after the baby was born for more training.
Marc snickered, "If she's this upset with one baby, what would she be like with multiples?" A chair flew across the room nearly hitting him.
"Fuck, I can't believe you were stupid enough to say that out loud. She's in pain and has telekinesis, man!" Luke scolded him.
She cried out as another contraction hit. Gabe was behind her while Owen and Loki were holding her legs as she pushed. "I swear this baby is going to be an only child!" she wailed.
"Oh Cricket, baby, I'll beat them up for you," I said playfully.
She pretended to sniffle, "Yessss, they did this to me. They're all meanies!"
"Nyet, love. You are little warrior and our baby will be one too," Raven crooned stroking her cheek. Her eyes softened and she leaned into his hand.
"I love you too, mo bhéar," she brushed her lips across the palm of his hand, making him beam with pride. "But that doesn't mean I'm letting you knock me up with a giant Russian baby either," she pouted. Raven let out a booming laugh and mumbled something like 'we'll see' under his breath.
The lights flickered as another contraction hit her. "Okay Mrs. Coleman, time to push hard," Doc Roberts said. "Suck in a big breath and keep pushing until I reach the count of ten." She nodded and when the next one hit she tucked her chin and pushed, her tiny body shaking from the strain. "...8, 9, 10." Tiny cries filled the air as Cricket blew out a long breath. "Congratulations mama and daddies, you have a daughter!"
Both Owen and Gabe cut the cord then Sean quickly placed her on Cricket's chest as he continued to clean her off. Her hair was dark and her eyes were crystal blue like Gabe's. She had Owen's look as she took in everything around her. "Hello my little love," Eveleen cooed.
"What name did you finally decide on, Dove?" Axel asked as they all gathered around, touching both mama and baby gently.
"Lochlyn. Lochlyn Orrica Blackbourne Coleman."
"Perfect, Queen." North said, kissing her forehead, "She's perfect and so are you, baby."
Author's Notes: I'm not crying, you're crying! This has been such an amazing journey to share with all of you. I take a sabbatical every summer and spend a month writing a story or two. This was the first story that I felt worthy to post on Wattpad and Patreon. Having reached over 19K reads humbles me, and I look forward to your feedback and suggestions on my other works.
