Henry had invited Thea and Charlotte over to his house so that they all could play video games together in the living room. The three of them were playing a car racing game and Henry was kept on blocking Charlotte and Thea making him be in the lead which made the two girls get frustrated.
Then Jasper entered the home, "Hey guys, you gotta check this out!" He announced.
"Don't care!"
"Quiet!"
"We're playing a game."
"No, problem, I'll take over the screen," Jasper shrugged and he changed the screen.
"Jasper!"
"Dude!"
"Dang it, Jasp!"
Jasper went to sit on the couch, "Just watch the video." He instructed.
"What video?" Henry asked.
"It's from the news last night. It's called 'Captain Man's a big fail'."
Charlotte smiled, "Ooh, play it."
Both Henry and Thea exchanged an worried look, "Um, hey, look at my belly button!" Henry blurted out and lifted up his shirt to show them his belly button. Thea had grabbed the end of his shirt and pulled it back down.
Charlotte looked at Jasper, "Just play the video." She told and the curly headed boy played the video from his Pear Pad.
They all looked at the screen to see Captain Man being interviewed by an reporter.
"We're live in downtown Swellview where the Phone Shark has struck again. This time, the Phone Shark bit through a dozen people's cell phones then fled the scene again. Once again, escaping capture from Captain Man. Captain Man, isn't it true that the Phone Shark has been attacking people's phone for over a year now?"
"Yes, that is true." Captain Man nodded.
"So, why don't you catch him?"
"Well, the Dangers and I have been trying."
"But you keep failing, does that bug you?"
"Yes."
Then Jasper had paused for video and Charlotte had a frown on her face, "Aw, I feel bad for Captain Man."
"It's not Captain Man's fault. He just need better sidekicks." Jasper commented and Thea snapped her head towards him.
"What did you just said?"
"One more time?"
Thea and Henry asked.
"Just saying, I'd be way better at catching bad guys than Kid Danger and Danger Girl." Jasper shrugged as Thea let out a loud scoff.
Thea narrowed her eyes, "You're just jealous of them!" She snapped.
Henry nodded, "Yeah, you couldn't catch butt warts!" He retorted.
Charlotte shook her head, "Oh, yes he could. Remember fifth grade?"
"That was a rash. Big difference!" Jasper interjected.
Henry stood up, "Whatever, I think Kid Danger does a great job."
Thea nodded, "Yeah and so does Danger Girl. Like, give them a break!"
"Why are you guys getting all mad?" Charlotte questioned them.
"Because Jasper's being unfair." Henry told.
Thea stood up, "Yeah, it's not right to criticize the Dangers when they're probably doing the best they can!"
"And people should be fair, you know? Fairness. I'm pro-fair."
Thea raised her hand up, "Pro Fair for life!" She stated before the two of them sat down.
Then Piper barged into the living room, "Jasper, get up!" She shouted.
Jasper furrowed his eyebrows, "Why should I?" He questioned.
Piper slammed the door shut which startled Thea, "Cause you're gonna carry me to my friend, Marla's house."
Jasper folded his arms, "I'm not gonna carry you, I ain't no horse."
"Fine, then I'll just upload this video so the whole world can see it." Piper smirked as she held up her phone.
The others all exchanged an confused glance, "What video?" Thea asked Piper.
"Him, trying to sing the cup sung."
Thea's eyes widened and her and the others all turned to Jasper, "I never did that, why would I do that? I never did that!" He shouted.
Piper sat down beside Henry to show them the video and they all looked over at her phone. The video showed Jasper wearing an wig trying to sing the cup song but ended up messing up.
"Ugh, I never be pitch perfect." Jasper frowned and everyone started bursted out laughing.
"Alright, stop it, turn it off!" Jasper ordered and Piper switched off the video.
"Where did you get that wig?" Charlotte asked as Thea wiped her tears from how hard she had laughed from that video.
Jasper waved her off, "You don't need to know."
Thea crossed her legs, "Oh, but I wanna know" she chuckled.
"How'd you get that video?" Henry asked.
"She must've swiped my thumb drive." Jasper suggested.
Piper stood up from the couch, "Maybe I did." She mumbled with a small chuckle.
"Oh, you're so bad. . ."
"Piper, you better not put that video online." Henry warned his little sister.
Piper laughed, "Oh, I won't as long as he carries me to Marla's house."
"No!" Jasper exclaimed.
"I got my ticket for the long way round." Piper mocked Jasper and Thea couldn't help but snicker.
"Okay, fine," Jasper let out a sigh before he stood up from the couch. "Get on me."
Piper jumped onto his back as the boy carried her towards the door, "If he goes slow, kick him on the side." Charlotte suggested.
"No!" Jasper shouted and Piper kicked him on the side before they both walked out of the house.
Suddenly Henry and Thea's watches started beeping and they quickly covered it when they noticed Charlotte's confused glance. "Yeah, I've been meaning to ask you guys, why do your new watches beep like that?"
"Uh. . .they need us at work." Henry lied as Thea nodded in agreement.
Charlotte furrowed her eyebrows, "But it's Sunday. Junk N Stuff is closed."
Thea pursed her lips and shared a glance at Henry, "Yeah. . .better go tell the customers, Bye!" Her and Henry quickly got up from the couch and ran out of the house, heading to Junk N Stuff.
Charlotte folded her arms, "There's something up with them."
After their mission, Thea had followed Henry back to his house through the window so that he can hand back her Chemistry book for class tomorrow before she heads home.
Henry helped the girl through the window before Thea closed the window shut . The girl let out a sigh, "Ray can be such a pain in the —"
But her and Henry let out a shriek when the light switched on and Charlotte was leaning against his door, "You're home late." She spoke
"What are you — how did you get in my house?" Henry asked the girl.
"Why are you here?" Thea asked.
"Cause I'm suspicious." Charlotte shrugged.
"Of what?" Henry asked.
Charlotte slowly walked over to them, "Why did you guys climbed through the window?"
"Uh. . .the front door was locked and I forgot my key." Henry responded.
"You know, your parents always leave a spare key under the mat."
Thea let out a scoff, "Yeah, but now it's gone and we're looking for it. . .inside his room," She lied and Charlotte raised an eyebrow at. "Look, I just came here to get my chemistry book."
Charlotte handed the girl, her chemistry book from Henry's bed which the girl thanked her for. The three of them stood in silence, "I like your shirt." Henry complimented Charlotte.
"Yeah, and your hair." Thea added.
Charlotte ignored their compliments, "Where have you two been?" She asked.
"Working." Thea shrugged.
"Working, you know, just working." Henry added.
"Really, 'cause I called Junk N Stuff. Nobody answered."
Henry sighed, "Okay. You wanna know where we've been?"
Charlotte nodded, "Yeah."
"You want the truth?"
"Yeah!"
"Uh. . ." Henry looked over at Thea, silently telling her to help him out here.
"Uh. . . Henry and I are dating!" She blurted out and send Charlotte a fake smile.
Henry's eyes widened and glanced at the girl who nodded at him. He then turned back to Charlotte, "Yeah - yeah, it's true. Thea and I have been secretly dating for awhile now."
Charlotte raised an eyebrow, "You are, you guys are actually dating?" She asked, not buying any of it.
Henry nodded, "Yup, isn't it obvious?" The two of them awkwardly held each other hands, sending their friend a strained smile.
"How long have you two been dating?"
"2 weeks."
"A month."
Both Henry and Thea exchanged an glance.
"A month."
"2 weeks."
Charlotte folded her arms, glancing between the two of them, "Then prove it."
Thea furrowed her eyebrows, "Prove, what?"
Charlotte smirked, "If you guys are really dating each other then let's see a kiss."
"Uh. . ." They both trailed off.
Thea and Henry slowly faced each other, sending a fake smile at Charlotte before facing each other again. Thea placed her hands on Henry's shoulders as Henry placed his hand on Thea's waist before they started leaning in.
"Ew, I can't do this!" Thea gagged.
"Okay, we're not dating!" Henry admitted.
The two of them backed away from each other.
"Yeah, I knew that." Charlotte shrugged.
"Okay but we're jazz musicians!" Henry made up and Thea sent him an deadpanned look. "We don't tell many people but secretly we play jazz and the only time the jazz club open is late at night. So that's where we were, at jazz club. Blowing jazz, on our horns."
Both Henry and Thea sat down on his bed then Charlotte sniffed their hair. Thea looked up at the girl, weirded out, "Why'd you sniff our hair?" She asked.
"I heard on the news tonight that Captain Man and the Dangers put out a fire at a syrup factory." She explained.
"Oh, did they?"
"That's nice."
Charlotte sat down on the steps in Henry's room, "Yeah, and you guys' hair smells like syrup."
Both Henry and Thea sniffed their hair and their hair actually did smelt like syrup. "Yeah, and I wonder why?" Henry nervously chuckled.
"Maybe cause you're Kid Danger," Charlotte pointed at Henry. "And you're Danger Girl ." She pointed at Thea. Both Henry and Thea nervously laughed.
Henry stood up, "Kid Dan - uh, I wish."
Thea nodded as she stood up as well, "Yeah, that's be nice. You're so funny, Char." She awkwardly smiled.
"And I guess you must be Beyoncé." Henry added, pointing at Charlotte.
She stood up, "Guys. . ."
"Okay, this is really big about what we're about to tell you." Henry whispered.
Thea nodded, "Yeah, really big."
Charlotte blinked, "What, that you're Kid Danger and Danger Girl?"
"Shut up!" They both shouted.
Henry rushed over to his door to check if anyone was outside in the halls before he closed it shut and locked it. He walked back over to the girls, "We're the Dangers."
Charlotte rolled her eyes, "I know. I figured it out."
Thea let out a sigh and placed her hands on Charlotte's shoulders, "Char, please don't tell anybody about this. Promise?" She pleaded.
"Promise." Charlotte nodded as Thea removed her hands form her shoulders.
"No, you don't understand. Thea and I took an oath that we never tell anyone that we're Captain Man's sidekicks."
"I swear, I'm not gonna tell." Charlotte said and the two let out a breath of relief. "Can I tell Jasper?" She asked.
"What, no?!"
"Charlotte!"
Henry and Thea both walked out of the elevator to talk to Ray about Charlotte finding out about their secret identitis.
They noticed their boss was eating Chinese food at the monitors. When he noticed their presences, he turned around, "Henry, Thea. I didn't know you guys were working today," He then took out his remote. "Did I butt beep you guys?"
Both Henry and Thea let out a nervous chuckle, "Uh, no. Can we talk about something?" Henry asked.
Ray covered his ears with his hands, "Uh, baby's comes from the baby store."
Thea waved him off, "We're not talking about that." She told.
He let out a breath of relief, "Oh phew, what's up?"
"You know, our friend, Charlotte?" Henry asked Ray.
Ray turned back to the monitors, "Yeah."
"Well, she's really smart," Henry continued as Thea nodded in agreement. "And she. . .kind of figured out. . ."
"Figured out, what?"
Thea spoke up next, "Well, she figured out — it's kinda funny really, Charlotte figured out that Henry's Kid Danger and I'm Danger Girl." She blurted out.
"Oooooh," Ray nodded as his voice went up a few octaves. "Interesting." He then said.
"You're not mad, right?" Henry asked.
Ray shook his head, "Mad, no." He then let out a laugh as the teens let out a breath of relief.
"Cool."
"Thanks for understanding, Ray."
"You're both fired." Ray stated before standing up from the chair and walking away.
Henry and Thea looked at their boss with shocked faces. "Fired, Henry and I are fired?" Thea asked in disbelief.
Ray nodded, "That's right. You can leave your watches on the table there." He pointed.
Henry and Thea followed after him, "But we swear, we didn't want to tell her!" Henry tried to explain. "She figured out!"
Thea nodded, "Yeah, it's not our fault that Charlotte's smart!" She added.
"Henry, Thea. You guys took a oath." Ray told as Thea glanced down at her shoes, letting out an sad sigh.
"I know, but —"
Ray interrupted Henry, "You guys promised me you wouldn't tell anyone and I trusted you guys to keep that promise. When the trust is broken, it can never be fixed."
"Yes, it can!" Henry defended.
Ray grabbed a fortune cookie, "Open this cookie and read this fortune."
Henry broke the cookie and then read the fortune out loud, "When the trust is broken. It can never be fixed."
Thea rolled her eyes, "You're taking advice from a fortune cookie?" She asked in disbelief.
"Let's not argue with the Chinese," Ray grabbed his remote and pressed a button which made the gear door open. Before he leaves the room, he turned around, "Goodbye Henry. Goodbye Thea."
Thea placed her hands on her hips, "Screw you, Ray. Your hair's dry, use conditioner." She commented.
"You don't mean that, my hair is fantastic!" Ray argued before he cleared his throat. "Goodbye kids." With that, Ray had left.
Back at Henry's house, Henry and Thea was sitting in Henry's room, upset about Ray firing them from their job. Henry was gulping down a bottle of chocolate while Thea was had her Sour Patch Kids on her lap and also playing the harmonica, playing some sad jazz music.
"Okay, what happened?" Charlotte questioned.
"He fired us." Henry answered.
Charlotte paced around the room, "Captain Man fired you?" She repeated back.
"Yup." Thea said before she shoved some Sour Patch Kids inside her mouth.
"But - but it's not your fault. I figured out you guys are The Dangers."
"Doesn't matter. We broke the oath."
"Well, you guys are gonna fix this."
"How?"
"What are we gonna do?"
"I don't know but you're not gonna find the answer at the bottom of a chocolate bottle or stuffing your face with Sour Patch Kids." She snatched the chocolate bottle and the candy from them before tossing them onto the bed.
Henry grabbed another chocolate bottle from behind him as Thea pulled out another pack of Sour Patch Kids from her pocket. "I won't know if I won't look." Henry shrugged.
Thea looked over at Charlotte, "Jasper was right."
Charlotte furrowed her eyebrows, "Right, about what?" She asked.
"That I was a lame Danger Girl." She frowned then popped a Sour Patch into her mouth.
"And I was a lame Kid Danger," Henry added. "We couldn't even help out Captain Man catch the stupid Phone Shark."
Charlotte let out a sigh, "I feel awful."
Henry waved her off, "Its cool, we still got our jazz. Hit it, Thea," They both pulled out their own pair of black sunglasses and placed them onto their face.
Thea started playing her harmonica as Henry sung: "I got my ticket for the long way round. Two bottles of chocolate for the way and I can't believe we got fired today but we did and it's kinda all your fault." The two of them both glared at Charlotte.
After Charlotte had left, Henry and Thea were downstairs in the living room and Jasper entered the room with a load of laundry, "Piper!" He called.
"What?!" The girl yelled from upstairs.
"I finished doing your laundry!"
"Good, bring me some quinoa!"
"You ate all the quinoa!"
"Then go buy more quinoa, or else I'll get my phone and upload the video so everybody can see you trying to sing the cup song!"
"No, I'll buy you some more quinoa!"
"Hurry!"
"Ugh, you're so bad!"
Suddenly Henry phone had rang and he answered it, "Hey Char, what's up?" Thea looked up from her phone and over at Henry, now interested. "We're not in the mood for trees. . .no. . ." Then the girl had hung up.
"What does Charlotte want?" Thea asked.
"Charlotte said that we need to come to the Swellview Park right now." Henry responded.
Before Thea could ask why, they heard Piper screaming when she stormed down the stairs. "Henry!"
Henry let out a tired sigh, "What?"
"Were you in the upstairs bathroom?" She questioned and Thea looked over to see Piper wearing very bad applied makeup, her hair was all messy and she was wearing party clothes.
Thea blinked, looking up and down at the girl's new look. "Use a mirror, dear." She commented.
Piper ignored the girl's comment, "You knocked my phone into the toilet!"
"Oh, sorry." Henry shrugged.
"Sorry, all my texts and videos are gone and my video of Jasper!"
Henry stood up, "You know, you're gonna be in a lot of trouble if Mom catches you wearing her makeup!"
"Mom's not gonna find out!"
"Where are you doing dressed up like that?"
Piper smirked, "To a club with my girls." Both Henry and Thea exchanged an glance, trying so hard not to laugh.
"And what club are you and your girls are going to?" Thea questioned.
"Club Eleven."
"Well, you gotta be at least 10 years old to get into Club Eleven." Henry informed.
"Well, I'm eleven years old tonight." Piper then held up an ID card.
Henry snatched it from her, "This isn't your library card," Then he flipped it over. "It's Mindy Flavin's."
"Duh, I bought it off her."
Thea shook her head, "Kids these days. . ." She mumbled under her breath.
Henry handed the card back to his sister, "Well, you better hope Mom and Dad won't find out."
Piper waved him off, "Yeah, don't worry about it," She then slipped the card back inside her purse. "Now, what are you gonna do about my wet phone?"
"Later. Thea and I gotta met Charlotte." They two of them ran out of the house, leaving an annoyed Piper who was screaming for them to come back.
The two had arrived at the Swellview Park and they noticed a wedding was going but they saw Charlotte hiding behind the bushes in the back.
They ran over to Charlotte and crouched down with her, "What's going on?" Henry asked.
"Check out, that guy standing behind the groom." Charlotte told.
She handed Henry her binoculars, "The guy with the crazy teeth?" He asked.
Thea grabbed the binoculars from him to check it out herself to see an man wearing an tuxedo and he had really spiky teeth — just like shark teeth. "Woah, spiky teeth," She gasped.
"He's The Phone Shark." Charlotte informed.
"Wha—" Henry grabbed the binoculars from Thea and looked at the man. "Whoa, that does look like him."
Charlotte looked at them, "That is him. Now, do Captain Man a favor and go catch the Phone Shark," Her two friends sent her an worried look. "As Kid Danger and Danger Girl," The two of them got up and grabbed their gum. "What's up with the gum?"
"We need it to transform." Thea answered as they took a couple steps back from her.
"Anybody watching?" Henry asked.
Charlotte shook her head, "No, why?" They didn't answer and instead, they popped the gum into their mouth and blew a bubble, transforming them into Kid Danger and Danger Girl. "Whoa. How does that whole costume fit inside one little gum ball?"
"Just - just, wait here, all right?"
When the ceremony had ended, the sidekicks had already came up with a plan. After the lady said 'I do' to her now husband, the sidekicks walked out, "Hey, congratulations!" Kid Danger clapped for the newlyweds.
"Uh, young man," the wedding officiant spoke. "This wedding isn't over."
"I know. We just wanted to show that hairless guy my brand new phone," He pointed towards the Phone Shark. He then held out his phone, "That's never been bitten. Come on, you know, you want it! Gotta love that new phone smell!" He then taunted.
The Phone Shark snapped, "Give it to me!"
"Catch it!" Kid Danger tossed his phone up in the air and The Phone Shark tried to catch it but Danger Girl jumped onto his back, trying to put him into a chokehold.
The man started spinning himself and Danger Girl around but she still held on tightly and she also kicked the bride in the face which made the woman fall onto the ground. "Sorry!" The female sidekick apologized.
Kid Danger helped out Danger Girl and got the Phone Shark onto the ground. She quickly got off the man, catching her breath. Kid Danger held his phone up again, "Hey, hey!" He called and got the Phone Shark's attention. "Come on, come on, Phone Shark! Come and get it!" The Phone Shark lunged forward but Kid Danger quickly dodged and the villain ended up crashing into the gift displays.
The sidekicks turned around when they heard applause from the guests. They sent an wink at Charlotte who smiled back at them before they went to sign autographs and take photos as they wait for the police to arrive.
Back in the Man Cave, Henry, Thea and Charlotte showed Ray the Swellview news, informing their listeners about what just went down in the wedding.
The reporter was interviewing the Dangers, "Kid Danger, Danger Girl. How were you able to locate and finally apprehend the Phone Shark?"
"Well, we'd love to take the credit but it was really our boss, Captain Man who made it all happen." Danger Girl shrugged.
"Interesting, can you tell us more?"
The girl let out a chuckle, "No, thanks."
"Since this was all because of Captain Man, why don't we give a big thank you to him?"
Kid Danger suggested and they looked back at the crowd who was chanting 'Captain Man'.
Captain Man paused the video and looked back at his ex sidekicks, "You gave me all the credit!"
Kid Danger nodded, "Well, everyone's been giving you a hard time over not catching the phone shark. We figured we'd help you out."
Charlotte cleared her throat, "Uh, excuse me. I'm the one who found the Phone Shark."
"It's true, she did."
"Yeah, Charlotte did found him."
Captain Man let out a groan, "Charlotte, what am I gonna do with you?"
"Uh, I think it's pretty obvious."
"What?"
"Give me a job here," She stated and the three of them exchanged an confused look. "You guys need me."
The three of them folded their arms, "First, I wanna know how you found the Phone Shark?" Captain Man asked.
"Well, I figure out theres no a guy with normal teeth could bite through a phone, right?" The others nodded. "So, I started calling some dentists until we found one who said they had a dentist who asked for a mouthful of titanium teeth."
"We should've called a dentist."
"Totally should've."
"Why didn't we thought of that?"
"Then I hacked into the dentist computer files, got his name and searched him up online."
"Oh, we should've gone online."
"What is wrong with us?"
"You're a hacker?"
"And his last upside said: 'Off to my brother's wedding in Swellview, hope they serve phones for desert. LOL."
Kid Danger looked at Captain Man, "Then she called me."
"And that's how we took down the Phone Shark." Danger Girl added.
"She's good." Captain Man said.
"She is, she could really help us around here." Kid Danger told as Danger Girl nodded in agreement.
Captain Man took a step back, "Us?" He questioned.
Danger Girl gently smacked her head, "Oh yeah, how could we forget? You fired us." She sent her ex boss an deadpanned look.
"Well, you broke the oath!" Captain Man spoke in a childish tone, mocking them.
"And we caught the Phone Shark!" Kid Danger argued. "Come on, Ray. Hire us back."
Danger girl clasped her hands together, "Please!" She pouted her lips.
Captain Man rolled his eyes at them, "Fine. You guys are rehired." He mumbled then The Dangers pulled him into a hug.
Charlotte cleared her throat, "Cough, cough, cough." She interrupted them and they all pulled away from the hug.
Kid Danger looked back at the girl, "Oh right, what are you gonna do with Charlotte?"
Captain Man let out a groan, "Well, she knows that you're Kid Danger and you're Danger Girl," He pointed and walked over to the girl. "She knows who I am, and she knows where the Man Cave is 'cause you brought her down here."
"So, what does that mean?" Charlotte asked.
"That we either have to kill you, erase your memory or give you a job." He told.
Charlotte raised her hand, "I vote job!"
Danger Girl raised her hand, "Me too!"
Kid Danger spoke up, "We really can erase her brain?"
"Dude!"
"Henry!"
He raised his hand up in defeat, "Sorry." He mumbled under his breath.
"Alright, she can have the job here." Captain Man told and Danger Girl and Kid Danger high five their friend. "If she can pass the pickle test. . ."
Danger Girl tilted her head in confusion, "The pickle test?"
They watched Bork screwed shut a pickle jar before they could start the assignment. "Thanks Bork! Now grunt and walk away," Captain Man ordered and the man grunted and walked out of the room. "Charlotte, you must now prove you're clever enough to work for Captain Man."
The girl let out a scoff, "Uh, I was found the Phone Shark."
Captain Man shrugged, "Well, anyone could do that."
"Not you three." Charlotte retorted, pointing at them and Thea pursed her lips.
"Hey, you know what—"
"Okay, let's not go there again, yeah?"
"Not all of us are hackers, Charlotte!"
Captain Man continued, "Now, to prove your worthiness. You must get that pickle out of the jar that Borch powered screwed tight."
"How much time does she have?" Kid Danger asked.
"Exactly, five min—" He was interrupted when Charlotte smashed the glass jar.
Danger Girl's eyes widened, "Woah. . ."
The girl held the pickle, "Here's your pickle." She then handed it to the superhero.
Captain Man let out a small sigh, "That was Bork's favorite jar."
"Wait, is Charlotte hired?" Kid Danger asked as Captain Man was now looking at the pickle.
"Can Charlotte work with us?" Danger Girl added.
"Yeah, she's hired." He waved them off and the three of them high five each other.
Kid Danger smiled, "Congrats, Char. I would've done the same thing."
Danger Girl shook her head as she let out a small chuckle, "No, you wouldn't."
Kid Danger furrowed his eyebrows and looked at the girl, "Yeah, I would! You know, It can probably take you more than five minutes."
Danger Girl shook her head with a small smile, "Okay, whatever you say, Henry," Then she let out a gasp. "We need to show her the tubes!"
"Oh yeah!" Kid Danger turned to Charlotte. "You wanna see something cool?"
"Yeah." Charlotte responded and Thea grabbed her hand as they all rushed over to the tubes.
Thea stand under her own tube while Charlotte stood beside Henry under his tube, "Hug me."
Charlotte looked at him weirdly and looked over at Thea, "Just trust him." She reassured.

idk but i thought it would be funny when henry and thea lied to charlotte about them 'dating' to hide their secrets even though she knew that was a total lie.
