for the past week, chris had been acting super weird like only calling you by your first name, not talking to you as much and being on his phone a lot more.
currently, you and chris were lying on his bed, the both of you playing on your phones.
"i'm gonna go take a shower," he suddenly said, standing up and walking over to his bathroom.
"okay," you said softly.
you noticed that chris forgot his phone, which was weird since he always brought it into the bathroom to listen to music.
then, his phone started buzzing repeatedly, making your brows furrow.
who the hell could be texting him so much? you thought as you picked up his phone to look at the text messages.

you instantly clapped a hand over your mouth, not believing what you just read.
you ran a hand through your hair before moving to sit at the edge of the bed, letting your thoughts take over.
chris then came back into the room, a towel hanging around his waist.
he asked, "hey y/n, what's up?"
"who the fuck is kristen?" you asked bitterly, not daring to look at him.
he asked, astonished, "what?" before quickly slipping on some clothes.
"who the fuck is kristen and why is she calling you 'babe'?" you questioned through gritted teeth.
"i- oh. she's um... she's my new girlfriend," he said quietly.
you turned to face him with anger and hurt laced on your face before asking, "and you weren't planning to fucking break up with me before you got with this bitch?"
"trust me i was," he stated.
"when?" you wondered as you stood up and crossed your arms over your chest.
"i-," he started but trailed off, at a loss for words.
you scoffed with a roll of your eyes, "you weren't. amazing! well guess what, we're done."
"no, y/n please. wait!" chris exclaimed.
"no, chris. leave me the fuck alone," you angrily stated before storming out of the sturniolo house and to your car.
as soon you had climbed into your car, you instantly burst out crying.
