Gabriel's POV
She vanished. Like really vanished. Oh shit, am I dead? Was she an angel?
"Gabe! Gabe, can you hear me?" Victor was yelling in my face like a madman. Wait, if he's here, then am I alive, or are we both dead?
"Are we dead?" I asked finally.
Victor let out a barking laugh and hugged me. "Holy shit you scared me! What was that thing?"
Thing? No, she wasn't a thing, she was beautiful. Oh wait, he's talking about the creepy fucker that slammed into the car. "No idea, man." He held his hand out to me. As I dragged myself up the sand, I asked, "Did you see where that woman went? The one who rescued me?"
He gave me a confused look, "Gabe, there wasn't anyone here," pulling out his phone, he said, "Yeah, we're here on the lower beach. Might want to have Sean take a look at him. He's rambling on about some woman, but no one's here."
"Fuck you, man. She was here."
