Two years before; The unfortunate day
The same day when Aditya fell from the stairs, Kritika was bailed out by the Mehra family. Kritika's condition was worse. They immediately took her to the hospital.

After the ultrasound test, doctor called the Mehra family inside her room. Aradhya rushed to check up on Kritika.
"Doctor, how is she ?" Raj Mehra asked worriedly. Karthik and Sakshi was waiting impatiently to hear Kritika's status.
"Mr. Mehra. Her condition is a bit bad. She is a month pregnant and it's a very crucial stage. At this time, a mother should be careful about her and the baby's safety. In Kritika's condition, dehydration is at it's peak. Also her body is very tired. I think she was not taking essential nutrients and tablets. Anyways I suggest you to admit her here for three days. We will supply fluids and medicines."
The Mehras agreed.
Kritika was now awake. Aradhya was speaking to her but she never answered anything.
Aradhya felt like crying. Karthik entered the room and glanced at his wife who was also tired.
"Aradhya, you go to ma. I will handle this." Aradhya nodded and went away.
Kartik walked to the bed and sat on the stool placed beside.
"I want revenge. I don't want them to leave peacefully." Kritika uttered. Karthik looked at her in surprise.
She turned her head to his side and stared at him with reddish eyes.
"My baby was almost near to death, but god saved him. I want revenge bhaiya. I want to see their end."
She spatted at him. Karthik smirked and nodded.
"I promise you Kritika. I won't leave them easily."
5 months later
The Mehra's looked after Kritika like a baby. They fulfilled her every wish. Kritika was really enjoying her new life. But during nights she felt lonely while talking to her baby. Every pregnant woman needs her husband beside her so as Kritika. She also wished but whatever Aditya did to her made her disgust the thought of having him beside her.
On a fine day Karthik took her to his office as she was feeling bored. At the same day the Oberoi's were having a meeting with Karthik. Kritika was at the cafe to have her favorite elai chai. Shivaay Singh Oberoi shook hands with Karthik and went outside with bis p.a. Suddenly he craved for an espresso and decided to have it.
Kritika took the chai carefully and turned to go. Shivaay took his steps to the cafe and froze on seeing Kritika. He was shocked as she looked like Arushi. Karthik who was searching for Kritika found Shivaay staring at her.
"Um..Mr. Oberoi what happened ?"
"Who is she ?" Shivaay asked.
"She is my sister, Kritika." Karthik answered. Kritika looked both confused.
"Bhaiya, dekho I got my chai." Kritika grinned. Shivaay was shocked again. The voice was same as Arushi's and chai was Arnav's favorite too.
"Excuse me. I need to go." Shivaay rushed from there.
Shivaay explained everything to the Oberois. They decided to visit the hospital where Arushi was born. Shivaay, Omkara and Rudra made the doctor spit all the truth with their murderous glance. The Oberoi's were shocked and was happy hearing Kritika is also their sister.
The next day Oberoi's visited the Mehra's. With the voice tape, Shivaay revealed the truth to the Mehra's. Karthik was feeling sad as he didn't want to lose his sister. Kritika was so emotional and happy. She thought she was an orphan but in reality, she had a big family with brothers, babhi's and a twin sister. Then Raj Mehra revealed Kritika's past, her marriage and the Singhania's betrayal. The Oberoi's were fuming in anger. They decided to avenge for their sister. Shivaay thanked the Mehra's for looking after Kritika. Kritika promised Karthik that he be always her big brother which made him happy.
9 months later
Time ran fast. The date was nearing along with the Oberoi's and the Mehra's excitement. Arushi who was doing her MBA came to know about Kritika. She was happy and thrilled to meet Kritika and her baby.
"I promise you didi, I will be there by night with lots of toys and chocolates." This was Arushi's promise.
The Oberoi's and Mehra's decided to conduct Kritika's baby shower. Kritika was chirping and giggling through out the day. She decided to visit a temple for the safe delivery.
"Kriti, temple is here also. You pray here." Shivaay suggested.
"I know bhaiya but I want a peaceful blessed atmosphere. Also I need to see the panditji also." Kritika said.
"Fine you go. Driver will be with you. Don't go here and there. Just visit the temple and come back." Kritika nodded.
The driver started the car. Kritika sat carefully. They reached a forest side through which they need to reach the temple. Kritika was listening to the songs. Suddenly someone blocked their journey. The driver stopped harshly and immediately Kritika held her bump.
"What happened chacha ?"
"Pata nehi."
Kritika looked at the intruder and was shocked. There stood Abhimanyu who was looking at her with murderous glances. The past came to her eyes. With the thought of revenge, she stepped out carefully.
Abhimanyu's gaze fell on her baby bump and smirked.
The driver also went out and warned Kritika to sit in the car. Within a second the driver was on the road in a pool of blood. Kritika gasped and looked left to see Rohan with a knife.
"Chachaaa...." Kritika screamed and tried to kneel.
But Rohan twisted her hair and threw her on the road. Kritika was quick to hold her bump. She fell on her back and screamed in pain.
"Awwww, your moan is so sweet." Rohan exclaimed and laughed.
Abhimanyu smirked and walked towards Kritika who was moaning in pain.
"Scream baby, scream....My brother is dying there and you thought I will let you live peacefully. Na na..." Kritika was gasping for air. Abhimanyu caressed her face slowly.
"Water...water..." Kritika muttered. Rohan laughed seeing her struggle. "You need water. Don't worry I will give you something nutritious".
Rohan lifted his shirt and opened his pants zip but Abhimanyu interrupted. "Stop Rohan. There is time for all these." He looked at Kritika who was crying.
"Tch tch...my sweet sister in law is becoming pale." He then touched her bump. "9 months huh !"
"Don't touch me." She snarled and pushed his hands away.
Abhimanyu smiled fakely. "Still there is no change in your attitude."
"Bhai, look at her. She is looking sexy right with plump boobs and a bump." Rohan uttered in lust. Abhimanyu gazed at her from top to bottom.
"Very sexy." He whsipered.
Kritika looked at him in disgust.
"Yo-u have no shame....cheee."
Abhimanyu smirked and slowly lifted her. "I will prove by devouring you."
Kritika was tensed. She wanted to save herself and baby. Abhimanyu made her stand and was about to lift her when she pushed him and ran.
"Catch that bitch." Abhimanyu yelled at Rohan.
Kritika was crying due to the pain in her abdomen. She looked behind worriedly to see Rohan who was about to reach her. She increased her speed while holding her bump.
"I will protect you at any cost." Kritika uttered caressing her baby.
Abhimanyu took his loaded gun and aimed at Kritika. He shot at her back and she fell on the road, on knees with her hands on the bump. She caressed her back with palm and gasped on seeing blood.
Abhimanyu asked Rohan to enter fastly. He stopped beside Arushi who was on the verge of closing her eyes.
"He..lp me..my ba-by."
"Die you bitch. Die on the road. No one will save you." Abhimanyu spatted and drove away.
Kritika slowly lied on the road. She looked at the sky and begged. "Oh Krishna, save my baby."
On that night, Abhay and Amrita found Kritika in a pool of blood. They took her to the hospital. The Oberoi's got the information. They rushed to the hospital where Kritika was admitted.
Arushi who landed in her hometown was attacked by her sister's murder news. Rudra took her to Kritika immediately. She reached the ICU to be welcomed with a good and bad news.
"Kritika gave birth to a baby boy. He is now shifted to the NICU." The doctor informed. Arushi grinned in tears but faded seeing doctor's sad face.
"I am sorry to say this. We can't save the mother. Her condition has become worse with the shot. Kritika is breathing her last seconds. You all can meet her one by one"
Arushi screamed and rushed inside the ICU. Karthik slumped down on the chair and started crying. Aradhya hugged Sakshi and cried for her best friend. Raj Mehra stood in the corner and mourned. The Oberois became froze. Anika, Gauri and Bhavya glanced at their husbands sadly. But their face had no emotions.
Arushi felt weak seeing her sister's pale figure. Her baby bump was still visible. Kritika turned slightly and smiled seeing Arushi.
"Co-me." Kritika uttered.
Arushi ran and fell on her knees beside her bed.
"Didi, please don't go...pleaseee...." Kritika slowly lifted her hand and caressed her head.
"My ti-me has re-ach-ed. I ne..ed to go." Arushi shook her head profusely. She grabbed her sister's pale hands and kept her cheek on it.
"I couldn't even spend some time with you. Our parents left us, now you too. Please didi. Stay." Arushi cried. A tear fell from Kritika's eye. But still she managed to smile.
Shivaay entered and stood at the corner. Kritika smiled at him who was crying silently.
"Pl...ease don't cr..y. I am n..ot go..ing any..where. I am wi-th you all." Kritika uttered and started breathing heavily.
Arushi wiped her tears and looked at her scared.
"Wh-what happened didi ?. Do-ctor bhaiyaa call doctorrrr."
"Shhhhh...I ne-ed to go. Pl-ease ta..ke ca..re of my Ri-shi." Kritika muttered and stopped breathing.
Arushi glanced at her blankly. Shivaay went and hugged her.
"She is gone Aru....She is gonee."
Arushi cried loudly in Shivaay's arms.
Arushi did Kritika's last rites. The Oberois and Mehra's were in tears. Little Rishi was in Aradhya's hands who was crying profusely.
The cries of the child grabbed Arushi's attention. Arushi gazed at him and then at Kritika's body which was burning. She walked towards Aradhya and took the baby from her. Her eyes teared up seeing her nephew exactly like Kritika.
"From now I am your mother. I will protect you forever and will kill your mother's murderers."
