VALENTINE'S DAY WAS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER and Rayanne couldn't be any more miserable. Not only could she not be with Santana on the holiday, but she had to sit through and take in everybody's mushy relationships.
And that's why Rayanne was now sat in the choir room with the rest of Glee Club, except she was avoiding all the love talk.
Mr. Schue walked in. "All right, guys. I have one word for you," he spoke as he wrote the word on the whiteboard. Brittany raised her hand.
"Is it 'love'? I'm totally gonna graduate now."
"Valentine's day is coming up," Mr. Schue started.
"Don't remind me," Rayanne mumbled to herself. Although, this didn't go unnoticed by some.
He continued, "So for this week's lesson, I want you guys to pick a partner, because you're going to sing to them what you think is the world's greatest love song. Yeah, find a song that communicates all the things that love means to you. Now, partner up."
Before the kids could continue with their tasks, Finn spoke up. "Mr. Schue, can I say something?"
He continued, "I just wanted to point out that for the first time, an entire week has gone by without any one of us getting slushied."
They all started applauding. "I think the fact that I left the football team to a Conference Championship might have something to do with it. Fact is that I'm the closest thing that this Glee Club has to a celebrity right now. And just like a famous athlete, I wanna give to a charity. You guys."
Some were offended and some were confused. "So I'm setting up a kissing booth for a dollar a smooch, and donating to proceeds to Glee Club to help us."
"Don't even act like you're trying to help this Glee Club out. You just wanna kiss a bunch of girls." Mercedes cut him short.
"I've kissed Finn," Santana spoke up. "And can I just say? Not worth a buck. I would, however, pay a hundred dollars to jiggle one of his man-boobs."
"Do you ever get tired of tearing other people down?" Finn spat at her.
"No, not really."
"'Cause you always just seem to be meddling in everybody else's business."
"Oh, please. You guys love me. I keep it real, and I'm hilarious." Santana explained.
"Actually, you're just a bitch." Lauren fired at her.
"Okay. I'm sorry," She responded. "You've just got eyes for my man."
Rayanne and Santana both agreed to cover up any feelings other than platonic in public, much to Rayanne's dismay.
"Okay, first of all, I'm not your man." Puck answered.
"And Finn is right. All you ever do is insult us." Quinn was next to speak. "Three weeks ago, you said you were disappointed that I didn't have a lizard baby."
"Five minutes ago, you said Mr. Schue belonged in a twelve-step program."
"Wait, what?"
"You're addicted to vests." Santana explained.
"The truth is, Santana, you can dish it out, but you can't take it." Rachel started. "Okay, maybe you're right. Maybe I am destined to play the title role in the Broadway musical version of Willow, but the only job you're going to have is working on a pole!"
The room went silent. What Rachel had said wasn't just rude. It was role zero: don't slut shame other girls. She had clearly crossed the line and Rayanne was pissed.
"Fine." Santana finally spoke. She got up from her seat and exited the choir room.
"What the fuck, Rachel?" Rayanne got up and followed after her.

"I WAS ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATED." KURT SPOKE. Rayanne, Mercedes, and Kurt were all at Rachel's house having a sleepover. That didn't mean that Rayanne wasn't still pissed off at Rachel.
Kurt was talking about his boy troubles with Blaine. Apparently, he was going to confess his love in song version for this guy who worked at the Gap. "Did he ever actually say you two were dating?"
"Well, not in so many words." Kurt answered.
"Well, did he put the moves on?"
"No, but we were always singing duets, and he was always smiling at me." Kurt's face changed from confusion to realization. "Oh my god, I made up the whole thing in my head, didn't I?"
"Sounds like it," Rayanne spoke. "Listen, we've all been there."
"At least I have," Mercedes spoke up. "With you."
"I know exactly what you mean." Rachel continued to go on this whole rant about her relationship with Finn. Rayanen thought that Finn made the right decision in breaking up because she had cheated on him. "and when his lips touch mine, I'm telling you, he's gonna feel it."
"Hey, hey," Mercedes cut off. "We're supposed to be giving Kurt advice, remember? You are going to the Gap Attack, though, right?"
"Should," Kurt paused, "Should I?"
The girls egged him on. "Scope out the competition. See what this guy's like." Mercedes explained. "You know, you two are both so guy crazy."
"Look at me and Rayanne." She continued, "Look at us. We don't have dates for Valentine's Day and I could give a rip. The three of us are divas. Look at our idols. Whitney, Barbra, Patti LuPone, Marina. They all became stars while they were single."
"They took all the pain and loneliness, and they put it into their music. People could relate to it." Rayanne added. "Everybody feels lonely. Harnessing this pain is why they became legends."
"Why had this never occurred to me?"
"Sometimes you have to choose between love and talent. And as far as I'm concerned, we all need to fly solo for a while." Mercedes explained. She was right.
"Focus on loving yourself before loving someone else," Rayanne added.
"It's so nice to hang around girls, for a change." Kurt spoke, thanking the girls for the advice and reassurance.
They continued on with their sleepover and it wasn't as bad as Rayanne thought it would be.
