"Are you just going to follow me for the rest of the day?"
"Pretty much,"
S.S/O let out a sigh as they continued to walk down the road, Sherlock following close behind.
They looked around the crowded streets, seeing a familiar face also looking around the crowd.
S.S/O's eyes lit up as they rushed over in their direction.
"(W.N/N)!" they called out, making W.S/O turn around and smile.
"(W.N/N)?" William questioned, leaning down and whispering to W.S/O.
"Liam?" they questioned back, opening their arms as S.S/O jumped and hugged them, squeezing them tightly and moving side-to-side.
"It's been too long!"
"I know, right?"
William cleared his throat, catching the two's attention.
"Sorry, I brought some company," W.S/O apologized as they looked over to William, giving a curt smile to S.S/O.
"Don't worry, so did I," they nervously laughed as Sherlock walked up to the three.
"Liam,"
"Sherlock," the two men greeted, starting a staredown.
W.S/O and S.S/O looked at them blankly, glancing over each other with a knowing look.
"Hey," S.S/O whispered, cupping their mouth to W.S/O's ear, "Wanna go sneak out while those two do whatever this is?"
"I regret to inform you," William informed, making the two look, "But I will be chaperoning your little outing today,"
"And so will I, since (S.N/N)'s been dying to meet up with their little friend," Sherlock exaggerated, making S.S/O roll their eyes while W.S/O chuckled.
"Don't worry, I also wanted to see you again as soon as possible," W.S/O reassured, making S.S/O smile.
"Awww!" S.S/O cooed, hugging W.S/O tightly as they giggled.
Sherlock rolled his eyes while William exhaled, pulling the two away from each other.
"Anyways, aren't you two here to do some shopping?" Sherlock reminded, making S.S/O lightly gasp.
"Oh, that's right!" they exclaimed, pulling W.S/O's hand and linking their arms.
"(W.N/N), you won't believe what I found on the way here," they started while W.S/O went along and listened to their story.
Sherlock could only scoff while William shook his head, following the two behind.
S.S/O and W.S/O continued on their shopping spree. Looking through clothes, jewelry, trinkets, and many more.
The two men only followed, sometimes pulling one away from the other when they deemed them to be too close.
"Oh, boy..." S.S/O muttered, trying to pull the strings behind them but couldn't reach.
"Hm..." they hummed, trying to think of a way to reach them.
"Aren't you and (S.N/N) too close?" Sherlock questioned, leaning on the doorframe while William sat down on the couch.
"You too seem to be too familiar with each other," William added, looking at W.S/O with a glare.
"I don't see the problem?" W.S/O smiled innocently, "We are friends. That's all there is to it," they reassured, looking back to the dressing room.
"Friends don't travel for two hours just to hang out,"
"And neither do rivals travel three hours on the train to surprise the other," W.S/O defended, making Sherlock drop his jaw while William frowned.
"Why? Are you two jealous?"
"Ha!? Jealous!? Of course not!"
"Preposterous,"
The two men quickly denied it, making W.S/O roll their eyes.
"Uh... (W.N/N)?" S.S/O called out, pulling the curtain slightly.
"Yes?" W.S/O replied as they walked up to them.
"Can you help me with the back?" they sheepishly asked, showing the undone strings.
"Of course," W.S/O reassured as they stepped into the dressing room, pulling the strings.
"Ah-," Sherlock scoffed, crossing his arms as he looked at the dressing room in disbelief.
William let out a dry chuckle as they looked away, rethinking W.S/O's duties for the week.
"And... done!" W.S/O exclaimed, pulling the curtains and revealing S.S/O in the outfit.
S.S/O walked out of the room and looked at the mirror, twirling around.
W.S/O glanced over the men and saw Sherlock stunned, staring at S.S/O with an open mouth.
W.S/O smiled to themselves victoriously as they looked at S.S/O through the mirror.
"What do you boys think?" they asked, snapping Sherlock out of it.
"You look beautiful, Mx. (S.S/O)," William smiled as Sherlock looked away, covering his face with his hand.
"You look... fine, (S.N/N)," he mumbled, making W.S/O sigh as S.S/O rolled their eyes.
"Well, I think they look breathtaking," W.S/O complimented, fixing S.S/O's hair.
"Awww, poppet!" S.S/O exclaimed, hugging W.S/O tightly.
"All right, all right," Sherlock grumbled, pulling you two away, revealing his flushed face.
"Are you feeling all right, Mr. Holmes? You look a little red there," W.S/O asked, a mischievous smile on their face as Sherlock shot them a glare.
"It's just the heat of the sun, that's all,"
"Oh wow," W.S/O muttered, their mouth full of cheesecake.
"Sherly and I tried it a couple of days ago and thought you might like them," S.S/O explained, eating their own cheesecake.
"It is divine," W.S/O complimented, taking another bite, "I wasn't aware there was a pastry shop near here,"
"It just opened up last week! We should take some home,"
"Are you two just gonna go window shopping and eat sweets the whole day?" Sherlock complained as William tried the cheesecake.
"If you feel bored, you're allowed to leave," S.S/O grinned, making Sherlock scoff and stuff his mouth with creampuff.
"We should be getting home," William looked at his pocket watch, "You should get some rest (W.S/O),"
"As do you, with all of the all-nighters you've been pulling," W.S/O smiled, taking another bite of the cheesecake.
"You two are free to leave anytime you wish,"
"Oh! Before I forget," W.S/O clapped their hands, an eager smile on their lips as they grabbed their basket and pulled out a couple of fruit tarts.
"I made some before coming since you said the bakery you liked stopped making them," W.S/O smiled as S.S/O gasped and covered their mouth.
"I'm not sure if I did it right, though," W.S/O nervously chuckled as S.S/O took a bite out of one.
S.S/O's eyes lit up as they finished the tart.
"Amazing! You made it just the way they did it!" S.S/O complimented as they took another while W.S/O sighed in relief.
"May I?" Sherlock asked as he took one and ate it, not waiting for a reply.
"Is this what you've been working on the past week?" William questioned, taking another.
"Yes, that and another dish," W.S/O confirmed, trying one for themselves.
William raised a brow but decided not to pry.
W.S/O sighed in satisfaction as they stretched their back and walked into the manor with William.
"Welcome back," Louis greeted as he prepared the table.
"We're back," William greeted, his voice a little weary.
"We're home," W.S/O smiled, rummaging through their basket.
"Let me put this away, and I'll help with dinner," W.S/O excused themselves as they made their way to their room.
"How was the outing?" Louis asked as William sighed.
"Apparently, I have some competition," William muttered, making Louis confused.
"Competition in what?"
"No, never mind," William shook his head, smiling at his brother.
"May I ask what (W.S/O) has been testing in the kitchen?" William asked, hoping to change the subject.
"Well, they've been working on that fruit tart from a bakery," Louis answered, setting up the table while William frowned.
"And they asked me how I make Stargazy pie," Louis finished, catching William by surprise.
"I see..." William muttered, covering the lower part of his face as he couldn't help but smile.
"What's wrong?" Louis asked, noticing his brother's odd behavior.
"I'm done!" W.S/O hollered as they headed downstairs while William looked away from them.
"...Did I miss something?"
