Aishwarya's POV
Mondays are always terrible, it's so hard to get back to routine after beautiful Sunday.
Vishal is very good with explaining the procedures in simplified way. Anyone would feel that surgeries are cake walk though it's not true practically.
I wish Mahesh is in my batch, we became good friends. Others are ok. Final years are way too busy. Vinod is also good.
I don't know what to make of Sushanth, he is very flirty with everyone and irritates me. I saw him give money to very poor patients who can't afford good food after surgeries.
Today I have my 14 week check up. Aunty came to hospital directly from home to the clinic.. my gynecologist is not from the hospital I do residency, I'm not ready to share the news yet..
I'm happy to see my baby us healthy. She is the size of my fist, looking more like human now with tiny limbs, head more proportionate with body.
Aunty and uncle are my emotional support, taking care of me like parents. Uncle is a man of few words but you could see his love. If things were different I would be living as their daughter in law. Anyone would be extremely lucky to get married into their family.
Next day Vishal called me when I was about to go home, Vikram was in his room.
"I'm taking you both out for dinner" Vikram said
He didn't even ask my permission!
"I'm not coming" I said
"I already told mom, what kind of food you want?" He asked
"Pani puri, pav bajji" I said knowing he wouldn't eat. I badly wanted to eat pani puri since afternoon. I was planning to eat on the way home.
"No, you are not eating that. You are not feeling well. Pick any healthy food" he said
"You carry on, I will go eat myself whatever I like" I said angrily
"I won't let you eat that" he said
"Who are you to order me? I will eat whatever I like" I shouted
"I finished my work, I'm going home, have a good evening sir" i told Vishal and turned to leave
Vikram held my hand
"I'm your husband, I have every right" Vikram said angrily
"Really? Why don't you tell your parents?" I said calmly
"If I tell them you would listen to me?" He asked
"Of course" I smiled
He smiled mischievously and took out phone
"Hi dad, are you busy?" He asked
What the hell? Is he going to tell uncle?
"I want to tell you something...."
I snatched his phone
"Hi uncle, Vicky wanted to take me and Vishal out for dinner, we would be happy if you could join us?" I said
"I'm busy, you enjoy" uncle said
I cut the call
Vicky and Vishal are smiling all the while
"Are you mad?" I shouted
"Why did you stop me wifey? Im doing what you asked" he smirked
"Uncle would arrest you... aunty... aunty is heart patient..." I can't imagine
"Come with me then" he said
"Are you blackmailing me?" I asked
"Of course not, let's go. Chethan took your car home. We will go in my car" he said going
Unbelievable! Vishal followed him smiling.
Vikram took us to Manuhaar. Food is really good but I'm not able to enjoy because I badly want to eat pani puri. I wanted to shout and tell him I don't want to eat anything except pani puri.
I want to punch him
"Didn't you like the food? I thought you would love it" Vikram said sadly
Looking at his face I felt bad
"It's really good, thank you" I said smiling
He smiled
Vikram went to restroom
"You want to eat pani puri?" Vishal asked
"Very badly, I feel like throwing this plate on his face and shout I want to eat pani puri. God! I don't know what's happening to me. Food is good but I hate it" I vented my frustration
Vishal laughed
"Here I'm frustrated and you are laughing. I would have thrown this juice on your face if it's home" I shouted in low voice
"I read about pregnancy cravings and mood swings but never saw. God! It's terrible" he said smiling
I realized what he said and smiled
"You should really tell him Aishu, you shouldn't keep him away" he said
"I'm not ready" I said
Vikram came
We finished the dinner. We dropped Vishal
On the way home Vikram stopped at pani puri stall
"I know you badly want to eat, promise that you take care of your health" he said
I enjoyed pani puri to my heart
"Thank you" I said
He smiled
We went home. Aunty slept by the time we reached. Uncle came after sometime. I served him dinner. Vikram and uncle conversed about some cases. I think it's natural when they are in the same field.
I wished good night and went to my room
I will not let my baby join police department otherwise they would be discussing about cases and I will be left out. Maybe I should make Doctor...
What am I even thinking? I hate Vikram

I closed my eyes and slept not wanting to listen to battle of my conscience and mind
