Amelias Pov*
I woke up at 8 pm after I went shopping with Athena. I was tired so I fell asleep. I noticed I was still on the couch and that I forgot to feed Rio.
My back hurt like a bitch and I had a headache. So I took the pill off the table. The pill that Adrian gave me and swallowed it down with water.
I looked to my right. On the other couch I saw Adrian and Ian sleeping.
Cuddling together.
Ian had his arms around Adrian's neck and Adrian's back was against Ian's chest. Sitting not laying down.
Sleeping.
This was the cutest view I've ever seen.
If only I had my phone. I got up and went looking for Athena. She has a phone sure she can take a pic and if I didn't find her I'll tell Corbin to take the pic.
No way I'm letting this view go.
I walked in the kitchen my back still hurting from the fall and my butt still hurt I think it's bruised. Oh God I have a bruise on my butt. That's disgusting.
I saw Corbin sitting on the kitchen counter scrolling through his phone. Legs crossed. He was wearing a turtleneck black top with grey sweats and he had 2 chains hanging from his neck.
This place is full of hot men. Damn
"Corbin Corbin!" I whisper yelled. He looked at me. I noticed I was still in the white top and jeans. "What?" He asked while putting away his phone. "no no don't put your phone away. Come with me." I said as I pulled him down the counter he grabbed his phone and we walked into the living room. Well I dragged him. But it doesn't matter.
The view was still the same. A.D and rice rolls cuddling. "Oh. This is gold" Corbin said as he pulled out his phone to take a pic. "Yeah I know but I didn't have my own phone I think A.D took it" I said folding my arms over my chest.
Adrian's Pov*
I woke up to a flash light in my face. Then the view became clearer.
There infront of me was standing. Corbin with a phone in his hand and Amelia next to him giggling at something on corbins phone.
"What are you guys doing? And why aren't you resting Amelia?" I asked. She looked at me and said "I'm a lot better A.D but you seem tired. Go back to sleep. You don't want Rice rolls to wake up now do you?" She said with a smile. I was confused.
What is she talking about.
I looked back at Ian who was sleeping while his arms were around my neck. His nick name is Rice rolls?
I thought I was special by having a nick name from Amelia.
"His nick name is Rice rolls. Really?" I asked with an annoyed face "well I always nick name my friends. Sometimes label them too." She said smiling. "And my nick name is A.D?" She looked at me like I was dumb. " I think you're not fully awake yet A.D" I nodded.
I started wiggling myself out of Ian's hold "Ian let go you elephant" I said then Ian suddenly let go making me fall on the floor. My butt Is not happy.
"You're right Amelia. Falling on your butt hurts." I said rubbing my butt because I fell on it with force.
"See. I told you" She said.
I stood up and Amelia said. "Hey A.D you forgot to give me my phone I'm really bored and I have nothing to do 24/7. Mind giving me back my phone?" Oh I forgot to tell her about that.
"Your phone was shattered the night you got kidnapped Amelia." I said to her. She frowned. "Oh God does that mean I have to make a new Playlist? My old Playlist slapped." She said sitting on the couch.
"I have a new phone for you though. But it isn't like the old one I have installed a tracker on it for your own safety. I can't do anything about the Playlist though." I said then walked away to get the phone from my office.
I chose her guest bedroom to be next to my office. I don't know why but I'm kinda fond of her.
She's really fucking pretty and no flaws whatsoever.
I jogged upstairs to my office and grabbed her iPhone 12.
I hope she likes it. I really do.
I jogged down stairs with the phone with its box in my hand and walked to the living room. She was sitting on the couch while Corbin was waking up Rice rolls.
"Here you go. Don't walk out of the house without it Amelia and always keep in charged."
She was speechless. Just gaping at me holding the phone. "You did not." She said in a calm whisper. "I indeed did." I said walking over to her with the phone.
She took it from my hand and started checking it like it was an illusion. "You fucking did not."
She looked at me with disbelieve and hugged me out of nowhere. I was shocked. "Thank you!" She said muffled against my chest and I didn't even have time to prosses that I was being hugged by Amelia.
I slowly wrapped my hands around her completing the hug and said "it's nothing Amelia just follow what I said." She backed away and said "Ok. OK." She looked at the phone and shook her head "you're seriously the best."
I smiled a little. I never have relationships. They disgust me. Only one night stands for my needs but that's all.
But for some reason, her little complements send weird shit in my stomach.
She opened the box that had the white iPhone inside. "Oh and there is a clear case on it." I said because she didn't see it and it was clear.
Amelia's Pov*
Was he crazy? Giving out expensive shit like that to a girl he barely knows?
"How much was it I have a some money in my credit hard" I said to Adrian who shook his head and said "I don't want its money back Amelia. Just enjoy your new phone" I looked at him and said.
"You are way too nice A.D. you dont even know me. Why did you buy me this?" I asked holding the phone. "Well because the main reason that your old one broke was that you were involved with the mafia without even knowing and it's kinda our families fault." He said
He was right. "Wait what's the name of your mafia?" I asked. "The D'sannis our family's name."
"And what was the name of the mafia that kidnapped me?" I asked
"The cobras. The leaders name is Peter santiago. He's an evil man and his right hand man is more evil telling him ideas to twist his way into people's minds and they are very dangerous Lia. You must know that."
"The cobras?" I asked in a serious manner.
"Yeah." He answered.
And I started losing it. I burst out laughing at the stupid name. Who would name their mafia the cobras? "And what is their simble? A snake?" I asked still laughing like hell.
"Actually it is." That made me laugh even harder.
"Do they hiss instead of talk?" My laughter died and I tried to keep a straight face.
"The name Is stupid but they are very dangerous" Ian said. Apparently he heard the whole thing.
"Ok I promise I will not go out with my phone turned off or leave without it and always keep if charged" I said calming down but still laughing a bit.
"Oh shit I forgot to feed Rio." I said to myself standing up and excusing myself from them.
Rio was sleeping upstairs the last I saw him. "Rio!" I shouted for him to hear me and then he came running from upstairs.
I opened his dog food and put some in his food bowl.
He started eating while I put him some water too.
"I'm sorry baby. I was sleeping and forgot your breakfast time." I said with a frown to myself.
This dog is the only thing I have left. I can't live without him.
I walked upstairs to my bedroom with the new phone in my hand. I really miss my mother.
I haven't cried about her death. Not once. She died of a brain tumor. And I haven't cried yet I was still shocked but now. I have to except the fact that she's gone.
I walked in my room and changed from the white top and jeans I had. Into a black hoodie. My hoodie this time. And some shorts that I bought today. They were also black.
I sat on the bed. And started crying.
I had no pictures of my mom on my new phone.
After Rio finish his dinner and water he started scratching his paws on the door for me to open it.
I did and he walked inside.
I closed my new phone did not even check it out. And slept.
Thats how I deal with my problems I sleep them away. Only this time I don't think when I wake up it will be gone.

ADRIAN'S POV*
it's been a week since Amelia went out of her room. She won't eat and won't do anything but cry and sleep. When one of the maids would bring her her food she would drink the water and not eat. She ordered one of the maids to bring Rios bowl and food so she can feed him and she made the maids walk Rio instead of her walking him.
She hadn't gone out of her room at all not even once and she locked the door. Her phone was powered off and from what Aiden told me she hasn't opened it once
Aiden was our professional hacker. We had cameras all over the house except for the main rooms and all the bathrooms.
I told him to shut the cameras in Amelia's room because of privacy. But all the other guest rooms had cameras.
And since Athena is staying in corbins room she isnt staying in a guest room so she also has her privacy.
I'm really worried about Lia. She hasn't eaten anything at all. Only water. She cries for hours I can hear her. Her room is next to my office. And the walls are kinda thin.
She often talks to Rio like he's her therapist.
I would knock on her door and she wouldn't answer but when I go to my office I would hear her talking to Rio. Meaning she's awake but doesn't want to talk to anyone.
I heard the shower going on from my office today at 2 am and now it's 3:45 am and it's still going. I was confused. What is she doing in the shower for 2 hours and a half?
I walked out of my office and knocked on her door. "Amelia." I said in a stern voice.
No answer.
"Amelia!" I shouted slightly. I was tired of her locking herself up.
"Amelia if you dont open this door right now I will shoot the locks and come inside" I said.
No answer.
That was it. I pulled out my gun and shot the door open. She wasn't in her bedroom. But she shower was still running. I didn't want to walk in on her but she left me no choice she's been there for almost 3 hours!
I ran to the bathroom and opened the door.
She was in the shower sitting down. In the fetal position. With her head in between her knees and her arms wrapped around her legs. She was dressed thank god.
But what is she doing in the shower with her clothes on and for almost 3 hours?
"Amelia what are you doing?" I said walking up to her. She didn't respond. I put my hand on her arm and was shocked to feel the water freezing cold.
Her body too. Ice cold. So cold that I immediately took my hand away from her body. I turned off the shower and covered her in a towel.
She hasnt said a word nor moved at all.
I was worried. "Amelia?" I shook her a bit and no response. "Amelia?" I shook her harder but she doesn't even move. "Amelia wake up!"
Nothing.
I picked her up in my hands not caring the she was freezing and wetting my clothes. And ran downstairs with her in my hand. I looked at her face.
It was so pale she looked dead. I started panicking. "Amelia wake up please!" I cried tears running down my face. "Oh God."
Corbin and Athena ran out of their room and said "what is going on?" Athena said "is she ok?" Corbin asked.
"She's not moving I found her in the shower with freezing cold water and she wouldn't respond to me and she hasn't moved." I said panicking.
"Take her to the hospital.. now!" Athena said.
I was too shocked to even think of what to do. I ran to the car and put her in the passenger seat and I drove out of there fast to the hospital. I put a coat on her to warm her up.
She can't be dead.
She can't die!
Why did she do this?!
I arrived to the hospital and parked the car and ran out of my car to the other side and picked her up bridal style and ran inside the hospital.
3 nurses came running to me and said " what happened?" One of them asked and the other brought a bed so she can lie on it. "She was showering with cold freezing water for 3 hours and now she won't respond whatsoever. She hasn't eaten anything for the last weak! She's grieving and that why she did this" I said panicking. She looked so skinny.
And her face so pale it was scary she was so light too not like the last time I picked her up. Not that she was heavy at all but she was lighter than usual and she was so fucking skinny from all the food she's been avoiding for the last week.
I ran after the nurses as they took her to a room.
A doctor came and I told him the same thing I told the nurses.
"Looks like we have a case of hypothermia."
I looked at him confused "what is that?"
"That's when your body stops producing heat and shuts down completely." the doctor said. And I was so scared so her. No I was terrified for her.
"Will she be ok!?" I asked looking into the window of the room she was in
"We don't know but we need to keep her warm so she'll wake up. If she didn't wake up in 3 hours she might fall into a coma. Or even die." The doctor said while the nurses took her into a really heated room and covered her with a heated blanket. "Wait her clothes are wet she's not gonna get warmer that way!" I told them they nodded and closed the shades of the room to change her into the hospital gown. Then a few minutes after they opened the shades and she was lying there.
Cold.
And on the bridge of death.
I came inside and sat next to her the room was so hot I started sweating like crazy. "Please wake up Lia. You can't die!" I said crying next to her.
She can't leave me!
Not when I finally started seeing the bright light.
