Michael Afton's P.O.V

"Take a right," instructed Helpy. I did as he requested and took a right at the upcoming turn and headed down that way. "And to think this world has everything. Imagine we could go to a beach, or another country? I could basically be a tourist if I could," shared Springbonnie. "If you could, that is. Just saying. Even if this is ends and we do survive, we probably won't ever be able to leave the house. Henry has to explain our existence to the world after all and who knows how that could go," reminded Bonnie. "Oh. Yeah.... Right... " responded Springbonnie sounding disappointed. "Well, it's not out of the realm of possibilities. Things can go in our favor if we do everything right. This place is your home now, just as it is for the rest of us," I said trying to make her feel better. "What would you do if your survived this Springy?" asked Springbonnie. "I... haven't really thought about," I said. "And me?" asked Mangle as I turned to look at her next to me. "Of course I want a future with you at my side... It's just... Kinda what Freddy said: You go through so much in your life you don't know how to start over, to have a normal life again... If you can call it one," I responded. "There's a future for anyone. You just have to see it yourself to be able to have one, and you still have one waiting for you now," said Mangle. "Hopefully. Though it's a matter of whether I'll survive all of this to be able to have such a future," I responded. "At least you have one, while mine isn't even in my control," said Helply now. "Go fucking cry about it somewhere else! That's nothing to what everyone else has lost compared to you! You've lost nothing and got nothing to cry about!" exclaimed Bon Bon, clearly infuriated by Helpy complaining. "Maybe not! Unlike you who can't get over his girlfriends death! She's gone and she ain't coming back! And just chasing the person who did it ain't gonna do shit! So about you actually do something with your miserable life!" exclaimed Helpy back. "Enough! Both of you! Control your feelings Helpy! Bon Bon one more word and you're staying with Helpy! You better decide if you're with us or against us!" exclaimed Mangle who also was done with the both of them. Everyone just seemed on edge or was going through so much during these hard times. Bon Bon, Helpy, Foxy, Freddy, all had their issues that needed to be resolved. It seemed once it happened to Freddy the rest followed, like he was the catalyst for everything to change. Would things change before our battle with my father or were things meant to stay this way?

Everyone in the car went silent now, probably not wanting to speak after the argument that had just happened and with Mangle going off. "You guys think we're doing the right thing?" asked Springbonnie suddenly. Everyone looked at her, surprised to hear her ask such a question as we all looked away a moment later. "Does it matter?" responded Helpy. "The world ain't gonna know for a while, and who knows what conclusion they'll come to. Besides Michael's father started this fight, not us. We just retaliated and woke up from his dreams where everything was simple and evil didn't exist in our minds. Like I would want to live a dream like that." "So are we the good guys then?" asked Springbonnie. "Good and evil is just a matter on how it is perceived. If we win we're the good guys and William and his army are the bad guys. If he won they're the good guys and we're the bad guys. William could just make up some bullshit for the history books that we were evil and tried stopping him for whatever lie he comes up with," explained Helpy. "All I want to do is my part and that's it. Even if it means giving my own life away," said Helpy. "Are you ready for that?" I asked. "No, I'm not. But if it's something that comes down to it I can't be a coward and run out on that," responded Helpy. "Is that the cemetery?" I asked noticing the graves on the left side. "Yeah, it is. We're coming up on the entrance," responded Helpy. Once I saw the entrance to it I made the turn towards the gate, though only for us to stop. "Huh? It's closed," noted Springbonnie. "Private property, obviously," said Helpy. "No worries. All of you stay here," I said as I opened the driver door and walked on over to the gate. I stopped in front of it and noticed a simple padlock keeping it shut as I held out my hand. I shot a small Shadow Beam at the pad lock, breaking it as it fell apart and onto the ground. I pushed both gates open completely then walked back to the car and hopped back in. "We're keeping the gates open?" asked Helpy. "No, we're closing them just in case. Even if it will make an escape more complicated it's better so nobody notices the gate open, especially if a security guard decides to show up," I said driving the car down the road slowly now. "Didn't Duality and Henry make sure the security guard left early? Unless he forgot his midnight snack or something," pointed out Springbonnie. "Well, anything can happen or not go to plan. We have to account for anything that can go wrong," I said. As I slowly drove the car down the road I was looking everywhere to see if I could spot the hill Henry had told us about, which wouldn't be hard since there was only one hill in this entire place. "That's it," said Mangle pointing as I turned to where she was pointing at. The hill was at the end of the road before it went to multiple separate path ways, though there still was some walking distance we had to actually make to get to our location. I stopped at end of the road where there were both turns to go left and right, as I shut off the ignition and opened the door. "Alright! Helpy, stay at the wheel and we'll let you know if anything goes wrong. Make sure to do the same if you spot the enemy or anything unusual," commanded Mangle. "Right," he responded as I got out of the driver seat and he took my spot. "Everyone else out of the car. Springbonnie, you're in charge of handling the platform. Bonnie and Foxy, you'll both carry the shovels we have," continued Mangle. "Let's hope four shovels is enough," expressed Bonnie as everyone got out of the car. "It's six twenty eight. Gonna be light by seven so I suggest getting this done by then," mentioned Helpy. "We'll try. As long as we can get this device dug up in like five minutes we'll be out of here. If the enemy isn't here with us, that is," I responded. "Alright let's move up to the hill," mentioned Mangle as she pointed over at the spot where we had to go. I could see the hill from where we were at, which wasn't too far. We all made our way over to the spot as I looked around to see if there was anything unusual around. The enemy had to be here waiting, letting time go by so they would have the perfect chance to strike when we would least expect it. Or maybe they weren't here this time. "Switch to night vision," instructed Mangle. I activated mine once again, though it was malfunctioning once again by going on and off. I just had to deal with it for now, though I wasn't going to need it for very long anyways. If the enemy was here there was little to nowhere to hide in such an open place like a cemetery. They could hide in a shed or be watching us from a far away distance, though they would need to get close to actually do something. Still, I was on edge of the possibility of an ambush. "You ok?" asked Charlie taking notice of me looking around. "Yeah. Just making sure nobody sneaks up on us," I responded. "It's necessary so another attack doesn't happen again. However there aren't many ways they could attack us so blatantly, but a stealthy attack still is possible," said Mangle. "I don't sense anyone nearby except us, though they could be masking their souls. It's still hard to tell," said Charlie. "Sometimes it's better to rely on your own skills and senses to ensure your own and everyone's safety," responded Mangle. "Ah, we'll beat them this time. And we got our own abilities and powers this time. We should be good," said Springbonnie reassuring us. "Let's hope so," said Bonnie as we approached the spot where Henry had told us about. "Looks like we're directly proportional to the grave on top of the hill. This is where our objective should be," noted Mangle. "Alright, let's start digging!" "If you don't mind, can I visit my moms grave for a minute or two. It has been years after all... And this may be my last time I get to visit her like this," said Charlie. "Alright, then. Just don't take too long and watch things up from the hill in case the enemy decides to show up," responded Mangle. "I'll go with her to help. Just to make sure she isn't attacked as well," I said. "Ok, then. Just keep a lookout, and be safe," she responded. I nodded in acknowledgement as me and Charlie both made our way up to the hill, approaching her mothers grave as we reached the top. It seemed this spot was reserved just for Henry's wife as there were no other graves, just one grave and a tree behind it. Charlie approached her mother's grave slowly as she finally stopped in front of it and took a knee. "Hi mom. It's been a while. You might not recognize me but it's still your daughter, Charlotte. A lot has happened since then. So much. I died and have been trapped in a puppet for years, all alone. I only survived because I thought of you and dad so much. I helped other children survive, learned how to be a mother. Like you. I hope I was a good enough mother to those who lost their lives like I did. I hope they get to see their family in heaven. I hope I get to see you again. Maybe I will," spoke Charlie. "Though I got a new family, not a replacement for you or dad but another family that is just as important as my old one. And we're going to stop William Afton, the man who did this to me and so many others, even my family. My new friends and family, Michael, Freddy, Foxy, Bon Bon, Helpy, Springbonnie, Bonnie, and Mangle. They all have suffered. However we're going to make sure no else will have to suffer like we have and ensure the next generation of children, like me, can have the brightest future possible. We'll make sure of it. You would like my new family. Maybe you do already... I wish I could talk longer but we have a whole world to save, so I hope you wish us luck. And don't worry dad still remembers you, just like I have. We won't forget you. See you soon mom."

Charlie stood up finally, though she still has looking at her mom's grave. "Mary Emily," I said noticing her mom's name on the grave. "What a nice name," I said. "Yeah, she was nice," she responded. "She... passed early on in her life?" I asked. "Yeah. When I was young. I knew something was wrong when she was in the hospital for days then my dad telling me she couldn't come home for a while. Then... she was gone. I was sad, and I knew my dad was as well. We never forgot her though. She was nice, always kind to me and my dad. Telling me anyone could do something big with their life if they chose to... I still wish she was here," said Charlie turning around to look at me now. "Yeah. Wish my mom was still here too," I responded. "What was her name?" asked Charlie. "Margaret. You know, when I was at Fazbear's Fright I would just think of her. I always was the closet to her and Elizabeth. I was still close with my dad before I knew of what kinda of person he was, but not to the extent I had with my mom. Whenever I had a problem, insecurity, or something personal I wanted to discuss with, it would always be with my mom. Her humor. Heh. Maybe not the cleanest and I did pick up some of my own from her. I still loved her as my mom... Maybe after this is all over I'll go see her again," I said. "Do you know where her grave is?" asked Charlie. "Not her grave. But face-to-face," I clarified. "You're don't want to live?" she asked. "Heh. I've been dead long now. All that's left is a walking corpse making amends before finally making its way to its grave," I responded looking down at the progress the others were making, who had dig a decent amount so far. "I got friends, family. People I'm so thankful to have at my side. Though it some point it's gotta end: My father, his army and plans, me. I'm not sure if there is a life for a walking corpse, not one they may not have a place in this world. Yet I have a family I don't want to leave behind, if we survive all of this. Guess that's out of my control though. None of us know how this is going to end," I continued. "Are there things besides stopping you father you want to before this is over?" asked Charlie walking to my side. "Yeah. Save Elizabeth. There's conflict, a way for her to make amends, just like how I did. I'll do whatever it takes to save the last piece of my old family I have left. If not, she'll ways be a shadow to my father forever... She, at least, deserves forgiveness. Just how I was given it," I responded. "Then she can be saved as well, as long as she wants to be saved," responded Charlie. "She does. I'm sure of it," I responded. "What if you're wrong?" asked Charlie. "Then I'll die with a regret I won't be able to get rid of," I responded. "You have anything has well you need to do before this is over?" "No. Maybe just say goodbye to my dad... I'm not sure I can live after this as well. I already don't like being in this body for so many years... I just want to be free. I want to rest for a long time... Rest forever and maybe not wake up again. I want to do it properly. Then maybe see mom... Face-to-face," she responded. "You and me both," I responded. "Thanks for everything again. Let's hope the both of us find a proper closure to everything. May we rest in peace finally, whatever happens," I said to her. "Whatever happens," she responded back in acknowledgement.

"I think we found it boss," said Bonnie's voice from below. Me and Charlie both turned to look down and see huge hole dug with a shiny metallic part shining through the dirt, indicating we had found our objective. "Things dug deep. We still got to dug around it so we can actually get it out of the ground." "Michael and Charlie! Get down here so you can help us!" called Mangle from below. I nodded in response as me and Charlie both walked down the hill and over to where everyone was, all while Bonnie, Foxy, Bon Bon, and Springbonnie continued to dig around the device. "It's taking a lot longer than we anticipated to get this thing dug out. And it's going to start getting light in about ten minutes or so," said Mangle. "Let's just focus on moving this device. What's the plan for that anyways?" I said. "We'll dig around it so we can push it out of the hole. The four of them are using the Resurrection Power to increase their speed and efficiency so they can get this done faster. They should be done in a couple of minutes," explained Mangle. "Would be nice if we had more people who could help with this," expressed Bonnie painting as he dig around the device. "How heavier and big just is this thing?" "Around a hundred pounds from what Henry told us," I said. "And seven of us is enough, right?" asked Bonnie. "Should be. Though we can have the Resurrection Power alleviate some of the weight and manpower for us," I responded. "Can't wait," responded Bonnie. "C'mon we're gonna get a great workout from it! Why complain?" said Springbonnie. "We think we've all had enough workout for the time being. Of course the mission would say otherwise, and I can't complain about what the mission states," responded Bonnie. "Right on. The mission matters, but it is your team and comrades that matter most. It's the responsibly of a leader to ensure their teams safety, no matter what happens. Failing the mission is one thing, failing your team and people you care about is another," said Mangle. "Good thing you haven't failed any of us. I mean, look how we turn out. You gave us something to look forward to and that deserves appreciation," said Springbonnie. "Heh. Who knows how things would end up if you didn't bring the team together. We probably would've still been working at our old jobs, and probably never have met Spingtrap either," said Bonnie. "Well, the both of is what had me strive to be a leader in the first place. Without the both of you, I'm not sure I would be where I am today," responded Mangle. "Would be nice if all of you quiet down so we can be done digging. That's more important than the old days," said Bon Bon annoyed. "What? Don't like the good old days? You had them right, and there ain't no harm in remembering them," said Springbonnie trying to get him to cheer up. "Of course I had them. Not anymore. Elizabeth and Ennard took part of that away. I have nothing left," responded Bon Bon. "C'mon. What about your friends? What about us?" persisted Springbonnie. "So you think you can replace my old friends, huh?! Golden Freddy, Fredbear, Ballora, Bonnet, Yenndo, Lolbit! And Freddy! Look how far that worthless pile of shit has fallen! Beyond anything possible that's for sure!" exclaimed Bon Bon. "Bon Bon enough!" exclaimed Mangle who was just done with him. "No! You think this new version of you can take over and fix everything! You think you have what it takes to end all of this by cutting off the head of the snake! Can you destroy another animatronic?! Kill a human being?! Have any of even thought that if you have what it takes to do what is necessary?! None of you have the guts to kill, you're all soft! I have to do what none of you may not be able to do and that's take a life! Not because it feels good but because you have to do what it takes to protect the ones you care about most, to ensure no else has to die?! Huh Mangle? Can you do that?!" All of us stared at him for a moment, embracing the words he had just hit is with. I knew when I talked with him he was willing to do maybe what some of us didn't have the strength to do, and that was take a life. He was hurting ever since he found out that Bonnet has been killed, but this wasn't just pain it was suffering. He was losing himself in his grief and was turning it into anger. Freddy was right, he needed a savior more than ever.

"You think I've haven't thought of it. Maybe any of us," responded Mangle. "We knew when we go onto this fight blood was going to be shed if we really wanted to end this conflict. You don't win a war unless loss follows the pursuit of victory. Some aren't prepared to do such a thing, and some just can't if they wanted to. It's not easy taking the life of another, even if they are the most heinous and evil being. You may have us believe this is about doing what none of could, but I know this all about dealing with your pain. That's all it's ever been about, so much you would throw away your own life to end the pain." "She's right. You think destroying my sister will ease the pain, but it'll only leave you more hollow. Pretty soon that empty shell with dissolve into nothing. We want to help you because you are our friend, our family. And Freddy has wanted to help you as well, he feels guilty with how you've been as well. When we return he also wants to make amends finally, if you'll let him. If you're not going to stop this crusade, at least consider reconciling with Freddy. Your friend and your family," I said. Bon Bon stared at me as we waited for his response, though I was pretty sure what the result was going to be. He had his usual face filled with anger, something that hadn't changed since finding out of Bonnet's passing himself. Yet I was met with something else, something less with anger and more of emotion. "Maybe Freddy should consider he has not only hurt himself here," spoke Bon Bon with remorse. I was taken aback by what he had said, but as I stared at him I began to realize just he was referring. Freddy's pained was being shared, and because of it someone else was hurting because of it.

"Uh... I hate interrupt... but we have the device dug out pretty much," said Bonnie. We all turned to see the device fully dug up now, waiting to be moved now. It definitely was huge, as it was hexagon shaped metal device and an interface on the front of it with some dirt still covering it. It was going to be a pain to move. "Well, let's get this moved then," said Mangle. "Foxy, Springbonnie you take the front side, Michael and I will take the back. Charlie you take the left side, and Bon Bon take the right," commanded Mangle as we all made our way to the EMP Device. "Bonnie, you watch for us and make sure the enemy isn't around." "Right, boss," he said in acknowledgement. "Alright! Everyone in position?" asked Mangle. "Yep!" responded Springbonnie. "Whenever your ready," I said to her. "Alright! On three," said Mangle as we all got ready. "One. Two. Three!" We all lifted up the device as I could feel like my arms were about to collapse and fall off, considering how old they were. "Move up!" grunted Mangle immediately as we slowly pushed our way out of the hole. "Holy shit, this is heavy!" grunted Bon Bon. "Just keeping going," responded Mangle as we tried moving it up the hole. "We're slipping," said Springbonnie trying to move up from the hole. "Keep trying. We got it," responded Mangle. Finally we all made it up the hill as me and Mangle made our way out of the side of the hole into some solid ground. We made our way to the platform with wheels as we rested the EMP device onto it, allowing us to catch our breath. "Glad that's done," I said stretching my arms to see if they were still functional. "Talk about a workout, huh?" said Springbonnie catching her breath.

"Perhaps a more difficult one can be arranged."

I knew, as I turned to the sound of that voice, who it was, though I still wished it didn't know who it was. Standing near the end of the hill was Elizabeth, all alone who had decided to show up here. However the fact she showed up like this meant she was planning something. "What! I checked everywhere. There's no way you've could've approached us without us knowing," expressed Bonnie confused. "He's right... I didn't know she was here either," said Charlie. "I have my tricks. It seems all of you have your own as well. Playing with a power though is only going to get you killed," said Elizabeth. "You know of it then," I said. "Of course. The Resurrection Power. Such a form of power that's unbelievable you can have in the palm of your hand, like magic. Only, magic can't even begin to compare to this power and what it is capable of, and with it we'll be able to change the world in our father's image," responded Elizabeth. "Where are your friends at? You wouldn't show up here alone," asked Bonnie. "You already know the answer to that question," she responded. "Hiding again, like usual?" I asked. "More of our game of hide and seek. Don't bothering using your powers to find them anyways. You know how we despise cheaters," she responded. "Since I can ask your directly, how about you answer for what I saw a while ago. Ballora. Thought she was dead. Or is it another one of father's experiments," I asked her. "What about her? Ballora is dead," she responded. "Maybe. However I heard mom's voice through her when I encountered her a while back. Tell me, what did our father do?" I asked. "Isn't it obvious enough? She lives again," responded my sister. "No, it is not obvious. She died a long time ago. I saw it with my own eyes," I responded. "Our father has been able to do such magnificent things with his skills, and that is not limited to bringing back people from the dead," responded my sister. "That's impossible. Even my father with his skills couldn't do such a thing," I said unconvinced. "Believe whatever you want, but you cannot deny what our father is capable of. I thought you would understand that yourself," said my sister. "I do. I understand that my father would do such a thing for his own amusement and to torture me, considering he never cared for her in the first place," I said. "There is still so much you don't know about our father, and perhaps it must stay that way," she responded. I was puzzled on what she meant, almost like she was implying my father always did care for mom. Then why was she killed, why show that to me and take pride in that. Or was it another lie?

"It's obvious what you're trying to pull here," said Mangle. "Classic distraction by running your mouth so the rest of your friends can get the jump on us or surround the area. Why else would you show up here alone and engage with Michael in conversation," said Mangle getting into a fighting position as the others followed her lead. "How about we cut the chit-chat and get on with it?" "If you insist," responded Elizabeth with a smirk. "What the hell?" said Bonnie suddenly as I noticed him looking up at the top of the hill now. We all did the same as I was met with the same ghost who refused to leave in peace. Standing on top of the hill was Ballora, proving she wasn't a figment of my imagination. "Ballora?" questioned Bon Bon. "No. My mom. Or whatever the hell she is," I said. "So? William's goons were at that pizzeria with us then," said Mangle. "We may have had our eyes on your group at the pizzeria, though we have eyes everywhere. We are always watching," responded my sister. "Then you were trying to mess with with me, just as you're doing right now? Is this how you want to treat the memory of our mom? After everything she has done for us?" I asked her. "She did nothing for us. Father has given us everything in this world, and you choose to stray away from his vision. Father may see you as nothing but I still see you as my brother. If you turn away from these people who wish to destroy the future then you can be apart of it, to see the world become a better place," said my sister. "And how does my father intend to change the world for a better future?" I asked. "Join me and you'll know the answer. You wouldn't say no to your sister? Especially not a second time?" she asked. "I would. You just as well I will not join my father, not after everything he has put me through and the many victims, humans and animatronic alike," I responded. "Then perhaps it is time to end our game of hide and seek," she responded. All of a sudden something burst through ground as we all turned to the sight of it. A hand with claws was coming from the ground, one of the Nightmare Animatronics. Another hand came up from the ground in front of us, then to the left, then behind; we had fallen into a trap. One of the Phantom Animatronic hands grabbed hold of Bonnie's legs as he tried shaking its grasp off, while another hand burst out of the ground in the center of our group. A hand popped out of the ground and grabbed by leg, a cold and black one. It was Nightmare. I kicked his arms a couple of times to loosen his grip before he finally let go. The hands that had emerged of out ground were followed up by their owners bursting from the ground all at once, now ready to engage us head on. Elizabeth started to run away now, which wasn't like her to do so unless it had some intent behind it. "You think you're getting away that easy, huh?" spoke Bon Bon before running after her. "Bon Bon stop!" warned Mangle. It was too late as he was already booking it and followed her as Elizabeth was running towards the top of the hill. She was luring him away from us, probably with a trap awaiting him and using his anger to do so. "Shit. I'm going after him!" I announced. "Alright! We'll handle the situation here!" exclaimed Mangle. I ran and followed after Bon Bon, who was already reaching the top of the hill as I tried my best to catch up with him. I didn't like leaving everyone else behind having to deal with our current situation, but Bon Bon was going to get himself scrapped if nobody stepped in to prevent that from happening. I reached the top of the hill, only to find Ballora waiting at the top. "Michael. It's me. Remember?" she spoke in Ballora's voice. "You're not my mom. I don't have time to deal with this," I said running past her as I could see Bon Bon chasing after Elizabeth down the hill. "Don't leave Michael. Don't you love your mom? Don't you miss me," she continued to speak. I ignored her as I made my way down the hill to catch up with Bon Bon. "You won't leave me, just like I won't leave you," spoke my mom's voice in my head. Suddenly, I felt my vision start to go blurry as I immediately recognized what was going on with me. "No... Not now... No," I tried to say as I slowed down now. Finally I collapsed on the ground, barely grasping onto my conscious that was fading away. Then there was darkness and a voice left to guide me into my mind.

"I will never leave you Michael. Our family never will."
