ᐱs I was packing my clothes up, I couldn't help but replay the scene that just happened, over in my head.
they think i'm an attention seeking whore.
they don't believe me.
my own family doesn't trust me.
"Donna," Silas snapped me out of my thoughts as he rushed into my room.
"The fuck do you think you're doing?!" he shook me, as he ripped my clothes away from my hand.
I didn't answer him. He's only here to shout at me and maybe even get a few punches in before I leave.
I harshly shrugged out of his grip and swiftly put all the clothes back, not giving him any chance to take it out again.
I turned on my heel and just as I was about to go out, he tugged on my wrist and slammed me hard against the wall, trapping me between either sides of his arms. I flinched as he did so. His eyes softened for a few seconds, before they went back to rage.
"Why are you ignoring me?" he growled.
"Just let me go. Nobody even believes me or trusts me now. It's clear that I'm not wanted anymore, besides, your brothers, are fucking blind. How did this even happen? So fast. I can't believe I thought I actually had a family. It's all bull! He's clearly panning something, and it's not gonna be fun," I muttered, not meeting his eye.
"But I trust you," he whispered softly, as he brushed a strand of hair away from my face, gently lifting up my chin.
"Really? Why?" I looked up at him, not entirely believing him.
"Because you, are my sister. There's no reason not to. That bitch, down there, is lying. That's fucking Gianna, I saw her bracelet," he shook his head.
"You saw her bracelet too?! I'm sure this is a setup," I exclaimed.
"Damn right it is. We have to be careful. Pack up, you're staying with me," he said.
"Wait what? Where are we even gonna go and what about our brothers?" I questioned, as I looked at him with my belongings in my hand.
"I have a penthouse. We're gonna stay there for a while. And about our brothers, shame on them, they'll come crawling back. But right now, all I need, is for you to be safe. Let's go," he protectively grabbed my hand, as we walked downstairs to the front door.
We reached downstairs to see everyone going all baby mode on Gianna.
"Where do you think you're going?" Ally- I mean, Alessandro's voice stopped us.
"None of your business," Silas spat, coldly.
"I'm sure as hell it is," Alessandro retorted.
excuse me? if he believes her, then why does he care?
"I think the fuck not. I'm taking my real sister with me and nobody can stop me. She's clearly not safe here," he grabbed my hand, and without further ado, we got into the car and headed to his penthouse.
The rest of them paid no attention, they didn't care that I was leaving. They were worrying about their stupid sister.

⚕30 minutes later ⚕
We soon reached his Penthouse, which was just like a smaller version of the mansion. There was only one bedroom, which we will share, a kitchen, lounge and bathroom, which all had an amazing view of the city skyline, you could see through the glass.
"You should go freshen up and maybe we could watch a movie, then go to bed?" he suggested.
"Yeah. Thank you," I smiled, but it didn't reach my eyes.
I was still hurt by everything that had just happened.
Silas gave me a gentle smile and kissed my cheek, as I proceeded upstairs to shower.

As soon as I was done showering, I headed to the kitchen to see if there was any food.
I opened the cupboards, and luckily there were quite a few snacks that did settle well with me.
Just as I was about reach for them, I felt hands snake around my waist from behind and someone nuzzling their head into my neck. Feeling startled, I flinched and gasped, until I realised it was just Silas.
"Jesus! You scared me," I chuckled.
"'M sorry baby," he murmured into my neck, his hair tickling my jaw.
"Movie?" he pouted.
"Why not?" I grinned, leaning back to kiss his cheek.
"Let's go, you cute little munchkin," he picked me up and we cuddled in the living room.
i wonder what's in store for me tomorrow?
little did i know, this was just the beginning of a terrible ride. i felt like i was in Final Destination 3, as the ride had just started.

As I passed through the hallways with my hood up, I noticed the twins and Gianna walk to her locker. Marco and Matteo gave her a kiss on the forehead.
i'm not jealous – who am i kidding?
they're the ones being stupid. they'll come running back when she bites them in the ass.
I huffed and walked to my next class.

"Oh come on! Just let me have one!" Bruno whined, trying to take a piece of chocolate from Mia.
yes. i still have my friends.
Luckily I got to approach them before Gianna did, so I explained everything to them, so that my situation doesn't get worse.
And when I mean everything — I mean, everything. From the abuse, to the mafia, to the prostitution ring, organ trafficking, drug dealing, the rape, Nik, Saige, Jackie, Eden, Hera, the twins – Paris and London, the other girls, how I escaped from there and found my brothers to the current situation.
They were baffled. I know it's a lot to take in, but in the end, they were so supportive, understanding and caring towards me. They even shedded tears and Rita - well she was beyond angry, almost like a protective best friend or sister. She was about to beat the shit out of Gianna, but luckily we stopped her from doing it, as it will only make things worse.
it felt good to have support on my side.
"No Bruno. Go get your own, you have money," Mia scowled in annoyance.
"You coming Friday?" Rita asked, turning to me.
i forgot all about that.
well shit.
"Uhm.. I'll have to ask Ales- I mean Silas first and then I'll see. I totally forgot," I informed her.
Alessandro isn't my brother, nor is he my guardian no more and it still hurts me, because I've grown close to all of them, and I see him as a father.
"Alright," she smiled reassuringly, sensing my emotions, as she slung her arm around my shoulder.
"So what's gonna happen now?" Mia asked, throwing away the chocolate wrapper.
"I dunno. I'm sure the boys will either sense something or maybe there's gonna be an attack. Silas is working on something. If there's an attack, we'll just be on standby.. just to see. We're gonna have to be very careful though. You guys included," I sighed.
"Yeah. I just can't wait to see the look on their faces when they realise," Rita muttered angrily.
"They'll come after us too? The Russians, I mean," Bruno asked.
"Well, yeah. Mafias have eyes everywhere, and the word spreads fast," I shrugged.

Mia, Rita, Bruno and I were side-walking through the back row of the theatre, trying to find our seats, with my phone flashlight on.
We decided to watch Spider Man: No way home. It's apparently a very good movie and the latest one in the franchise.
I got permission from Silas to go, he said it'd take my mind off things. Of course, he didn't send me and my friends without a couple guards behind us, while he stayed back at the penthouse, to do some work.
"Eeeeek, I can't wait!" Rita squealed.
"Dude shut up. It's starting," Bruno whisper-yelled, as he got himself comfy.
Rita was about to retaliate, but the movie had begun, which diverted her attention.

The movie went well and it was an absolute bomb, I loved it!
Occasionally throughout the movie, Bruno would either sip too loudly or chew popcorn too loudly. He also screamed at one point and the entire theatre told him to shut up.
Mia and Rita were getting annoyed with him, as they were trying to concentrate. I found it funny, because I was enjoying myself with friends, like I never had, in a long time.
i feel like a normal teenager at this point. right now.. but i still got way more to deal with.
Soon enough, all my friends went home. I was waiting and waiting for Silas for some time now and he still never came.
I paced outside the theatre and couldn't help but wonder if something happened to him.
oh god! i hope he's okay..
Out of absolutely nowhere, I feel hands cover my mouth, as they drag me to an abandoned alleyway. I scream and kick, as I look up at them, they're masked.
