It is now my third day hiding out in the Russian countryside. Yelena is the other aunt I never knew I needed and with nat it just feels like home.
I wake up go Nat shaking me
"Nat come onnn I wanna sleep in" I groan
"Y/n you're gonna wanna see what's on the news" she says in a serious tone
"Huh?" I quickly open my eyes and sit up uncovering myself.
I jump out of bed in my pjs and run down the stairs with Nat
I gasp when I see peters face on the news
*yes you heard that right- Peter Parker widely known as Spider-Man is the real accomplice to one Wanda Maximoff. While the government searched for y/n Stark and Pietro Maximoff, it turns out Parker was the one helping Wanda all along. Authorities say he turned himself in this morning which makes y/n and pietro innocent. The authorities are hoping to learn the whereabouts of Wanda maximoff from Peter Parker*
"Oh god- Peter" I face palm
"Hey at least you can go home right?" Yelena smiles awkwardly
"Y/n it'll be okay" Nat says
"My brother is in fbi holding right now because of me!? That is not okay!" I freak
"Eh he will be fine I have been tortured by government many time" Alexei shrugs
"That does not help!" Melina swats Alexei in the arm.
"Nat I have to go home" I look at her panicked
"Okay, I'll get the jet" she nods
I run and pack my things worried for Peter
I grab my phone and try to call dad....
No answer!?
I try Steve next....
No answer???
Then I try Harley
*-hi before you-
"HARLEY STEVEN KEENER-STARK! How could you let Peter give himself to the feds like that??! He doesn't know a thing about what happened in Westview- he's in so much trouble now all because of me!" I yell frustrated
*-y/n hold on okay I know it sounds bad but I didn't let him go I told him not to!-*
"I am on my way home right now and we are figuring this out. As a family" I huff
*-uh about that-
I hang up trying to move faster as I worriedly pack up
I run downstairs to see the family sitting by the tv
"Did Nat um-
"She went to get the jet" Yelena nods
"Leaving so soon?" Melina frowns
"I'm sorry" I nod to her
"No need to be sorry" Yelena gets up to console me
"I wanna say thank you so much for letting me stay here. I really needed this. You guys are so fun I will definitely be back to visit" I smile softly at Melina
"I say let's kidnap her forever!" Alexei grabs me into a tight hug
"Oh jeez!" I laugh gasping for air
"You're going to kill her" Yelena rolls her eyes tapping his arm
He lets go with a huge laugh and he pats me on the back
"Good bye Stark" Melina smiles softly and pulls me into a hug.
I leave in a hurry getting on the jet with nat.
She sets the coordinates for home and we play card games till we get back to the states
"Thanks for doing all this" I sigh
"What? It's what family is for you know that" she smiles softly
"And thanks for playing cards with me" I give a shy grin
"It calmed you down it seems" Nat nods shuffling the deck
I get a text from pietro
"Im back at the house with Harley. Im sure you're on your way"
I read aloud
"Who said that?" Nat asks
"Pietro" I nod texting back
"He knows you so well" she giggles
"I know, he's great" I roll my eyes knowing what Nat is doing
"Remember that talk we had..." she grins
"I am not getting married" I laugh as she bursts out laughing
"Come on it would be fun! All of us together" she nods
"I would invite everyone" I smile thinking of it
"See!" Nat smirks knowing I'm thinking about it now
We chat for a while longer till the jet lands at the house. I get ready to say bye to nat
"This was great. Thank you for letting me meet your family" I smile
"Thanks for being the best niece" she pulls me into a hug and I laugh
"Hey Aunt Nat" Harley comes outside and nods.
"Harley" she nods back
"I better go" I nod
"Go find Parker. And be safe" she kisses my head
"Thanks Nat"
The jet takes off and I run to Harley
"we need to get to Peter" I say immediately
"But how he's with the feds!?" Harley raises his hands up already knowing we can't get to him
"Dad!" I walk in the house
No response
"Y/n-
"Pops!?"
"Y/n they aren't here" Harley says
"Where are our parents then?" I ask Harley
"Space with Fury. He called yesterday" Harley sighs
"Right. Okay. Dads are in space. Peter is with the feds" I try to think
"Peter needs a lawyer, and quickly" Harley looks at the tv
"I'll pull some strings" I nod
I go to the lab and power up Jarvis interface
"Jarv how are you?" I ask
"For you Ms. y/n always great" he responds
"I need some help here- pull up best lawyers in New York"
Within minutes I have my guy
"His name is Matthew Murdock" I read to Harley
I dial the number and hand the phone to Harley
"Woah I don't wanna talk to him!" Harley passed me the phone back
"Neither do I!" I throw it back to him
"He's gonna answer" Harley sticks it in my hand
*-uh hello?-*
There's a mans voice
"H-hello Mr. Murdock?" I ask into the phone glaring at Harley
*-yes this is-*
"I'm in need of a lawyer..."
I catch up Matt on peters case and within the hour Peter is out of holding and back home
"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?" I yell as Peter sits on the couch
"No I'm not doing this" Peter stands up
"Peter" I say grabbing his arm
"I was just trying to protect you" he sighs
"Thank you pete, but really I'm fine" I frown knowing he thought he was doing the right thing
"Yeah people really hate you right now pete. Instead of y/n they think you caused Westview" Harley shows us the news
"Shit" I roll my eyes
"That's what I wanted" Peter nods
"To get taken by the feds?!"
"To take the blame off of you!" He says back in the same frustrated loud tone
We look at each other both fuming
"I'm sorry" Peter breaks and goes to leave
"Thank you" I say
"It's what you do for family" he shrugs
"Where are you going now?" I ask
"My new lawyer says I should hang low. I'm going to Aunt Mays" Peter says
"Alright I'll come with you" I offer
"No you can't. I have to go alone. It's okay" he reassures me
I give him a nod and he goes upstairs
"I'm proud of him" Harley smiles softly
"Why" I sigh sitting on the couch
"He's being his own person. Making his own choices" Harley nods sitting next to me
"True. Remember the ferry boat incident" I giggle
"He's like a whole different Peter now" Harley chuckles
We watch the news for a moment seeing people hating on Peter and wanda
"I caused all this" I sigh
"No wanda did" harley corrects me
"But I brought my family into this... now the feds want Peter and dad isn't even here" I lean into Harley
Then there's a knock
"Great who could it be!" I stand up with a huff activating my nano hand blaster in case it's a threat
I open it to see a disheveled pietro
"Piet" I sigh opening the door fully and bringing him into a hug
"Y/n what has happened?" he asks with a thick accent
"Peter took responsibility for what we did. He's in deep shit" I sigh
"Yeah I did" Peter comes downstairs smiling
"Pete come on" pietro tries not to smile
"This is serious you two" I roll my eyes
"So what the world hates me" Peter asks
"It's supposed to be me! Not you" I huff
Harley greets pietro as I make sure Peter has everything he needs to leave.
"Tell May I said hello. And I'll probably make a visit soon. Take care of yourself. Don't go outside. Call me or happy if you need anything." I lecture
"Thank you y/n" he nods
"I love you" I bring him into a hug
"I love you too. I'm sorry you think I messed up, but I got this. I'm Spider-Man" he gives a smile
"Okay. Be safe" I nudge him
"Yeah what she said" Harley says sternly before pulling our little brother in for a hug
"Love you guys" Peter nods to all of us before leaving
"God im so worried about him" I sigh.
"It's going to be okay" pietro whispers
"Arent we geniuses? We'll figure something out" Harley shrugs not worrying too much with his laid back 'we got this' attitude
The rest of the night I'm restless wanting to figure out what I can do.
I check the news every minute to make sure he's safe.
I hope dad and pops come back soon.
I finally lay down with pietro to get some sleep but once I fall asleep I keep having dreams of Faith and him meeting Peter... it's all so real. But I need to focus- how to make everyone forget Westview happened....
