it's just another night, and i'm staring at the moon
i saw a shooting star and thought of you

i sang a lullaby by the waterside and knew
if you were here, i'd sing to you
far from the tree
you're on the other side
as the skyline splits in two

but i can see the stars from america
midvale
wake up
i wonder, do you see them too?
the flash reborn
so open your eyes and see
the way our horizons meet

but both of our hearts believe
elongated journey into night
all the stars will guide us home

When Supergirl and The Flash arrived at Dayton Optical Systems that night, Supergirl harshly landing in the parking lot and Flash zooming up, a couple feet away, they looked at each other. They were just waiting on one more person. Someone who doesn't have super speed.

The Green Arrow rode up to them, while on his motorcycle as Supergirl casually whistled, trying to pass the time. When he finally parked his ride in between the two, he leaped off, huffing to himself. "Just a quick reminder, super speed — I don't have it." "Noted," Supergirl muttered before they all began to walk towards the building. "So, what do we know about this place? Why are the Earth-Xers targeting it?" Flash asked.

"Because..." The three heroes suddenly stopped in place when three Earth-Xers approached them. One, the woman from the church, the dark archer from the church, and a man in a yellow-black speedster suit. Overgirl, Dark Arrow, and Reverse Flash. "They had something we need." Reverse Flash placed something down on the ground, a protected cube with a dark prism inside.

"Whatever you stole-"

"We're gonna want it back," Flash said.

"Your confidence is predictable. You've faced some of the greatest evils known to man, and you've defeated them, but if you think so highly of yourselves that you can defeat any threat that comes your way..." One by one, Overgirl, Dark Arrow and Reverse Flash revealed themselves as Kara Danvers-X, Oliver Queen-X, and Eobard Thawne-Harrison Wells version. The heroes stared at the three shockingly, not expecting, but it all starting to make sense why they could defeat them so easily. "How do you feel about us?"

"This is sick," Arrow said.

"Do you mean looking at your reflection and seeing only weakness?" Oliver-X asked. "I agree."

"Thawne?" Flash questioned.

"Direct from Earth-1," Thawne said, before gesturing to his face. "Do you like my face?"

"It's the face you were wearing when I became the Flash," Flash said and Thawne smirked. "The face you wore when you tried to put a wedge between me and Kara. Having me lie to her for a year."

"Guess that didn't work. Heard you got married. Well, almost anyway," Thawne said and Flash glared at him. "I thought I'd put the face back on again. You know, for old time's sake. Plus, handsome."

"We watched you die," Flash said.

"Or did you?" Thawne asked and Flash stared at him confused. "It's time travel, Barry. So very confusing. I always seem to be saying that to you, don't I?"

"Tommy killed himself," Arrow said to his doppelgänger.

"I heard your Tommy died years ago. That's what this earth does. It makes people soft," Oliver-X said.

"We've been watching you," Overgirl said, eyeing Supergirl. "We've been watching all of you and how you've squandered the potential of two worlds." Supergirl tensed up, knowing she was referring to Earth-1 and Earth-4. "On our earth, we've developed a meritocracy. We've accomplished greatness."

"You're perverse," Supergirl sternly said.

"No, Kara, you're the perversion. The most powerful being on the planet rendered weak by saccharine Americana?" Overgirl asked before chuckling as Supergirl continued to eye her. "My pod was blessed to crash in the Fatherland."

"Then go back there," Flash said, sending dirty looks to his evil doppelgänger girlfriend. He couldn't help but be reminded of when Kara was under red kryptonite.

"This is not your earth. Leave," Arrow sternly said.

"I don't answer to the likes of you. My allegiance is to the Fatherland," Oliver-X said before he slowly looked at Overgirl. "And to my wife."

"His wife?" Supergirl asked.
"His wife?!" Flash asked.

The two both looked at each other then to Arrow, who seemed just as grossed out. "Gross! No offense."

It took everything for Flash to just calmly look back at the Earth-Xers, and not make a jealous comment. "Last chance. Go home," Arrow demanded.

"And stay there," Supergirl also demanded.

"All of you," Flash as well demanded.

Thawne pulled over his mask again, and started to run off and Flash zoomed after him.

Immediately, Arrow pulled an arrow into his bow, pointing it at Overgirl, but she practically laughed in his face. "And what do you think that's going to do? Bullets bounce off of me."

"Oh, this arrow won't," Arrow said before he let go of the pull strings, which released the arrow. It broke apart, revealing the arrowhead was made up of just kryptonite.

It struck itself right into Overgirl's shoulder, and she gasped surprised while Supergirl looked at her friend confused. "Is that a kryptonite arrow? Why do you have a kryptonite arrow?"

"In case an evil you ever showed up," Arrow said right before Overgirl yanked the arrow out from her, her blood soaking the arrowhead.

She immediately flew up, and to throw the arrow into the Arrow, but Supergirl zoomed in front of him in time, using her freeze breath against her doppelgänger. It knocked Overgirl into the glass sign, which caused Oliver-X to ran over to her help.

Right then, the Flash rolled by from the Reverse Flash defeating him. But then the Reverse Flash zoomed over to Oliver-X, who was running to Overgirl's side. "Get the Prism out of here!" The Reverse Flash zoomed off as Oliver-X kneeled down to his wife. "Are you all right?"

"I'm pissed," Overgirl said before Oliver-X helped her up.

"Well, take it out on that," he said, staring out on something in the distance. Overgirl looked to see what it was. A building being built.

Overgirl used her laser heat vision to break apart many parts of it, fully knowing there were workers inside. It intentionally got the heroes' attention, and while the Arrow helped the Flash up from the ground, Supergirl flew off towards the building. "It's gonna fall."

"All right. Get me over there," Arrow said before Flash grabbed him and zoomed them over to the building as Supergirl flew.

Supergirl flew into the falling building right as something fell to the ground. She grabbed it just in time, adjusting it back to its spot from before as The Flash zoomed in. "Get the workers to safety!" She used her heat vision to mold the piece back into the building as The Flash zoomed around the building, getting the workers away from the building.

But once he was done, he stood on a beam, making sure everyone was gone, but it was creaking. "We need to stabilize the building."

Up on top the building, the Arrow pulled a zip line arrow and shot down, swinging down, shooting another one, and another one, and another one, until the zip lines could hold the building up. For the time being.

Once down, The Flash zoomed down to the ground, the Arrow swung down and Supergirl slowly floated down. "The site's cleared."

"And stabilized," Supergirl said.

"Nice work," Flash said and Supergirl smiled.

"Let's not celebrate just yet," Arrow said and they looked at him. "We gave those doppelgängers three window they needed to escape."

"Escape with what?" Supergirl asked.

STAR Labs

Felicity stood with Harry in the cortex at a computer, with Caitlin nearby, and Alex, Iris and Mon-El watching them. "Dayton Optical Systems call it the Prism."

"What on earth do they need a sub-light generator for?" Harry asked. "It's basically a spectral emitter that-"

"Uses quantum entanglement," Felicity said.
"Uses quantum entanglement," Harry said.

"You could also use it to create a stable fusion reaction," Caitlin said, walking over to her computer.

"Ok, which all means what?" Iris asked and they all looked at her. "No. Guys, really, I would like to know what you're talking about."

"You got this," Felicity muttered to Harry.

"Well, basically, the device they stole can be converted to a neutron bomb," Harry explained and Iris stared at him taken back.

"Boom," Felicity imitated. Iris nodded before looking away, now stressed out more.

"I take it back," she muttered and Mon stared at her worried, wanting to comfort her, but knowing he couldn't.

"The bottom line is that we have to catch these parallel-earth goose-steppers," Felicity said before Flash (with his cowl off) and Supergirl walked in, Flash holding the kryptonite arrow.

"This might help," Barry said as they all looked back at them.

"Is that...Is that a kryptonite arrow?" Alex asked, noticing how uncomfortable her sister looked and felt. Only because of the substance slightly affecting her.

"Yup," Barry said as Alex took it.

"I know I shouldn't have to ask this question, but I have to ask this question," Felicity said and the two looked at her. "Oliver didn't shoot Kara, did he?"

"Sort of," Barry said.
"No," Kara said.

"The other Archer and flying woman are Oliver and Kara of Earth-X," Barry told them, and they looked at them surprised.

"That's not even the worse part...they're married," Kara said, and now they all looked grossed out. Except for Iris.

"Darn," she muttered under her breath.

"When you said that Earth-X was horrible, you might have undersold it," Caitlin said to Harry.

"Wait a minute," Alex said and the two looked at her. "How — How could there be another Kara?"

"Well, there are 53 Kara's, just like there's 53 Kryptons, and 53 Earths," Harry said.

"Yeah, the Kara on his earth is his adoptive daughter," Iris told Alex.

"Oh, and the Thawne from our earth is working with them," Barry said as Alex walked into the med bay.

"He's an idiot," Harry said.

"Ok, if that arrow has not-so-Supergirl's blood on it, we c-"

"We could track it using quantum analysis," Harry said.

"We could," Felicity said.

"Hey, guys, I think I might have a quicker way," Alex called out from the other room, which grabbed everyone's attention.

They walked into the med bay to find Alex examining the arrow, the DNA already on a computer. "These red blood cells are suffused with shortwave radiation."

"Solar radiation?" Mon asked.

"Yeah, incredibly high amounts. Like nothing I've ever seen," Alex said and Kara looked at Felicity.

"Can you track it?" She asked.

"Well, I once caught a deranged serial killer off his face cream, so," Felicity said and they stared at her odd. "No joke."

"Let's just do it and fast," Kara said and they all scattered off.

———

Later on, Harry, Alex, Felicity and Caitlin were all working away in the med bay, trying to find the location of Overgirl while Mick laid in the bed. "Maybe tracking her off of face cream would've been easier."

"Supergirl-X'd blood is filled with solar radiation — more than it should — but if I could try to get that to act as a kind of beacon," Harry said as he worked.

"Hey, ahem," Mick said as he swung out of the bed, standing behind Caitlin. "How do you do it?"

"Do what, Rory?" Caitlin asked.

"Bring the other you out of you," Mick said.

"You don't want to know," Caitlin said.

"Sure I do," Mick said and Caitlin sighed.

"It happens when I am scared of angry," she said.

"Oh. So, if I were to, um, boo!" Mick yelled, but Caitlin slowly looked back at him, unimpressed.

"Nice try," she said.

Suddenly, Harry slammed his hand on his desk and they all looked at him. "Boom. Whatever's going on with Kara-X's blood, it's intensifying."

"Worse for her is better for us," Felicity said.

"Better for us for tracking her at least. We should have her location any minute," Caitlin said.

———

Meanwhile, Barry and Kara still in their uniforms, stood in the time vault, holding each other while watching holographic images about Eobard Thawne. "I can't believe he's back —— I don't know if I'll ever be rid of him."

"I know," Kara whispered, holding him tight. "And I know how much you're hurting."

"I just keep looking for closure, but every time I see him, all I see is—"

"Your mother dying," Kara said, in tone that said that she understood the feeling. She then looked up at him, her blue eyes glimmering. "You're gonna stop him."

He looked down at her, seeing the confidence in him behind her blue eyes. "How do you know?"

"Because you always do," Kara assured with a small smile.

"And because we're not gonna let you do it alone," the two looked behind them to see that Oliver had walked in, also still in his uniform. "We're getting close on a location. Look, guys, I'm sorry. This is not how this week was supposed to go."

"We can't think about that right now," Kara said.

"You should. We fight to protect the people that we love, so you guys recognize what you have. Recognize it and cherish it and let it make you stronger, because if you don't, you will always find your way back to one another," Oliver told them, causing Kara to smile a little because that's all she and Barry have ever done. Even when they weren't together.

"It's the same for you and Felicity, man," Barry said.

"I don't know, Barry. I d — I — she told me she doesn't believe in marriage. I'm not feeling sorry for myself. I just — I think that if she loved me the way I love her, she would want to marry me," Oliver said.

"Oliver, I've known Felicity for six years, and I'm here to tell you, as sure as I'm standing here, she loves you," Barry assured and Kara smiled at Oliver.

Until it dropped when she saw Felicity walk into the vault. "Felicity-"

"And I appreciate that-" Oliver started.

"Is standing behind you," Kara said, and Oliver froze.

"She's right there," Barry muttered and Oliver lined in his mouth in a frown. Felicity awkwardly cleared her throat as Oliver looked back at her.

"We got 'em. They're at a shipping depot outside Danville," she told them.

"All right. We'll get the band back together," Barry awkwardly said before he and Kara shuffled out from the vault.

"Oliver, I-"

"It's ok. We can talk when I'm — when I'm back. But right now, I need — I need to have my head in the game," Oliver said and Felicity nodded.

"Get your head in the game," she said.

———

SF (Emma) was about to walk out of the speed lab, which was where she got changed, when Peter walked in, in his Spider-Man uniform. He pressed the side of his head, which caused the head to turn off, revealing he was extremely worried for his girlfriend. "I don't if I can let you go."

"You have to," Emma said, but she knew that wasn't enough for him. "Someone needs to stay behind to help protect Iris and Felicity. Someone stronger than those vigilantes. They need Spider-Man."

"I don't care what they need, Emma," Peter said but all Emma did was stare at him, her eyebrows furrowed. "All I care about is that you're safe."

"You don't need to protect me. I'm quite possibly the strongest person on this team," Emma assured.

"If I don't protect you, who will?" Peter asked and she smiled before taking his hands. But by feeling the pulse in her palms, Peter knew something that no one else would. She was scared.

"They need me. And STAR Labs need you," Emma said, knowing that's not what he wanted to hear. "I will be back. I promise. But we need our heads in the game." Peter nodded, knowing she was right, that she was always right, but he just didn't want to hear it. "No matter what happens, just know that I love you, Peter Parker."

Peter then pulled her close to him, deeply and intensely kissing her, as if it would be their last. "I love you, too, Emma Danvers."

Emma slowly pulled herself away from him, and headed out of the Speed Lab, right when the group of heroes walked through, and she joined in.

Green Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Firestorm, White Canary, Alex Danvers, Mon-El and now SF. They were facing an uncertainty, but were doing it anyway, because these Earth-Xers were threatening the very thing they cared about more than anything. Their home.

Unknown Location

As Firestorm, Supergirl and SF flew up in the air, Green Arrow, White Canary, Alex and Mon-El all walked on a roof together. "Supergirl, SF and Firestorm are sweeping the perimeter," Arrow said right as the Flash zoomed up next to them.

"It's done. It's wall-to-wall Nazis in there," Flash told them.

"Alex and I will take up breach positions on the northwest corner," Sara said before she looked at Alex. "If that's ok with you."

"STAR Labs thinks they converted the sub-light generator — the Prism that they stole — into some kind of superweapon," Alex explained.

"Speaking of super, theirs is our biggest threat," Flash said.

"Agreed. Let's take her out first," Arrow said.

STAR Labs

Felicity was nervously standing alone in the cortex, when Iris walked in, seeing her expression. "Hey." Felicity looked at her as she walked up to her. "You okay?"

"Yeah," Felicity said, but after a few moments, she shook her head and whispered, "No. You know?"

"Yeah," Iris said as put an arm around her. "It's gonna be ok."

Suddenly, the doors of the cortex opened to an angry Mick, holding a sandwich. "Mustard. You people have breaches but no mustard."

"Uh, what are you even doing here?" Iris asked.

"Yeah, why didn't you go with them?" Felicity asked.

"Go where?" Mick asked.
