Venus’s P.O.V
It has been a few days since I had seen Jasper in my room that night and it was all that I’ve been thinking about especially when he wasn’t at school these past few days until today when he finally did show up and I was thinking about asking him about it as well so that I didn’t feel like I was going insane and when he walked into class and sat down next to me and I noticed his eyes were ow a gold color since the night I saw him in my room that night, “hey can I ask you something?” I asked him and he just looked at me and nodded, “I know this is probably random, but were you in my room the other night. I’m not mad about it, I’m just curious” I asked and he just looked away as if he was embarrassed about it, “what’s wrong?” I asked him, “nothing, it’s just. It’s hard to explain and I fear that if I do, you want me to be near you or want to be friends” he said and I understood, “I’m sure that whatever it is wouldn’t make me feel anything less towards you. I think you’re a really nice person and I like being around you” I said with a small smile on my face as a smirk was on his, “I’ll tell you one day when I feel ready, but not right now” he said and I nodded, “alright, no rush” I said just before the class had started and I soon began to grow some sort of feeling towards him throughout the entire class. By the time school was over for the day, I had gone straight to my locker before someone had approached me, “hey, my name is Alice. I’ve noticed that you have transferred here a few days ago” she said with a smile on her face, “hey Alice, my name is Venus nice to meet you” I said with a smile and the both of us talked as we made it out of the school and she had introduced me to the rest of her family, “hey guys, this is Venus. Venus this is Rosealie, Emmett, Edward and Marcus and we assume you’ve met Jasper already” she said and I nodded before I waved, “yeah we did” and we continued to talk for a while until I my cell went off and saw that it was a text from my mom saying that she was here, “well, I’ll see you guys later I guess, I gotta go my mom is here” I said and they all said bye and I walked over to the car and got in before we left the school.
Jasper’s P.O.V
Not long after Venus had left with her mother, everyone just looked at me, “what?” I asked before Alice giggled, “you guys will be so cute together” she said before she got in the car with Rose and I just shook my head, “we both know that Alice won’t stop teasing you about it until it actually happens, you know that right” Edward said and I nodded, “yeah I know. Venus is a really nice girl though once you get to know her. I really like her” I said as I thought about her, “you’re thinking about her. I think it’s more than just liking her as a friend. I think you’re growing feelings for her” Edward said as we got in the Jeep before Emmett started teasing me about it throughout the entire ride. By the time we had gotten home later that day, I looked around to see if Carlisle was home and later found him in his office and knocked, “everything alright Jasper” he asked and I shrugged a little, “well, I’m not sure exactly” I said to him and he stopped what he was doing, “what’s on your mind?” he asked me, “it’s about this girl, the one Alice had mentioned about being my mate” I said and he nodded, “has something happened?” he asked me as I sat down, “well yes and no, she might have noticed me in her room the other night. I felt the urge to see her for some reason and I ended up in her room before she noticed me standing in the corner that night but I thought she would think she was seeing things until she mentioned it earlier today” I told Carlisle and he sighed a little, “I understand what you’re feeling about all of this, but you also have to be careful just in case something happens and I will allow her to know only because she’s your mate. But if she does ending up finding out about us, she eventually have to turn otherwise the Volturi will intervene and end up doing something neither of us will like” he said and I nodded, “alright, thank you” I said to him and he smiled a little, “she seems like a nice girl though they Alice had explained her to us” Carlisle said as we walked out of his office and continued to talk for a while longer until I did the homework that I was assigned to earlier today. Later that day, when I was finished, all I could think about was Venus and how nice and caring she was and I was soon brought out my thought’s when both Edward and Emmett had walked into my room, “what do you want?” I asked them, “you really need to relax on the thinking, Edward here is feeling all sorts of things” Emmett said and I rolled my eyes, “whatever. Have the both of you come to tease me about it or something?” I asked sitting up on the couch, “well maybe Emmett is considering how he is” Edward said and I chuckled a little, “oh come on lighten up, we all know it’s true” he spoke up again and the three of us all just hung out for the rest of the night.
When the next day came around, we were all hanging out in the parking lot talking before classes started and all I’ve done was watch Venus the entire time as she hung out with her group of friends and she had noticed me looking and she smiled a little and waved and I did the same before she went back to talking with her friends and we all went in the school before class started and I had gone straight to my first class of the day and sat where I usually sat with Venus and I soon saw her walk into the room and sat down next to me, “hey” she said with a smile, “hello” I answered and not long after the rest of the class had walked in, the teacher soon began the class, “good morning everyone, today I will be putting you in groups of two for your first assignment today and I will be the one choosing those groups” she said and paired everyone off and had later paired both Venus and I together and told us what we needed to do for it before letting us get to work on it, “so, where do you want to go for this, my place or yours” Venus asked me, “how about yours” I said and she nodded, “alright, I just gotta let my mom know about it when I get home later so until then, why don’t exchange numbers” She said and we both wrote down our numbers before giving it to the other and before we knew it the bell rang, “I’ll see you later then” she said and I nodded, “yeah, see you later” I said before we went to our next class. Later that day, school had finally ended and I went to the others as we drove home and when we got there I had went to tell Carlisle or Esme that I’m probably going to be heading over to Venus’s place to do some homework together and when I did I had gotten a message from Venus saying that I was allowed over along with her address and I had messaged her back saying that I will be on my way and that I will be there soon and when I sent it, I soon grabbed my things and got in the car and drove off to her place.
Venus’s P.O.V
Not long after we had gotten home after school, I had told my mom about having Jasper come over, “hey mom before I forget, I wanted to let you know that a friend of mine named Jasper is coming over to do some homework with me if that’s alright with you” I told her, “yeah for sure and if you’re going be in your room doing it, leave your door open alright” she told me and I chuckled, “I know mom don’t worry about it it’s not like we’re going to be doing anything we’re not supposed to” I said heading up the stairs, “I sweetie, but I just want to be sure alright” she said and I chuckled a little more before I made it to my room and texted Jasper saying that he was able to come over. After a while, I finally heard a knock on the door and I went downstairs to see that my mom had already answered it and let Jasper in before he noticed me on the stairs, “hey” I said, “hi” he answered, “I really like this boy, he’s well mannered” my mom said and I blushed a little, “yeah, he is” I whispered, “well I will let the both of you get to doing your homework now and remember what I told you alright Venus” My mom said as both Jasper and I walked up to my room, “I know mom don’t worry” I said as we walked into my room, “alright let’s get started with this shall we” I said and we both smiled and started our homework. When we were done for the night, we just sat there and talked for a bit until I had noticed him staring at me and our eye’s soon met and I didn’t notice at first but he slowly lent and I had done the same until our lips had finally met and the kiss turned passionate until he broke away, “I’m sorry, I don’t know what got into me” he said and I smiled a little, “it’s fine, I liked it to be honest” I told him and he just looked at me, “I liked it to. You have no Idea how long I’ve wanted to that” he said and we both just smiled at each other, “go on a date with me” he said and my smile grew bigger, “ok” I said and he smiled again, “how about this weekend” he said and I nodded, “alright, that works for me” I said to him, “alright then we have a date. Anyways, I should probably get going” he said as we both got off the bed and went downstairs, “leaving already” my mom said as she came from the kitchen, “yeah, my parents are already making dinner by now so I don’t want to keep them waiting when they’ve finished” Jasper said and my mom nodded, “alright then dear, have a good night” she said to him before the both of us said out goodbye’s before he walked out the door, “guess what” I said to my mom as I walked into the Kitchen, “what is it dear?” she asked, “Jasper asked me out on a date for this weekend” I said to her before she turned to hug me, “ohhh, my daughter is going to have her first date, I’m so excited” she said and I giggled a little and we soon grabbed our plates of food and we soon talked about it.
The weekend finally came around and I was getting ready for my date with Jasper and I was nervous even though he told me to just dress casual and by the time I was done, I headed down stairs just before someone had knocked on the door and I opened it to see Jasper and I smiled, “hey, are you ready?” he asked and I nodded, “yup. bye mom, I’m heading out now” I said to her, “alright sweetie have fun” she said before I walked out the door and, “why thank you” I said and he smiled, “your welcome Ma’am” he said before closing the door and getting in the driver’s seat and we soon drove away and just spent the day together and talked about each other and our interests until it was getting late and he soon drove me home for the night. By the time we made it back to my place, we both just stood on my porch, “I had a good time tonight” I said to him with a smile, “so did I” he said as he moved a strand of hair behind my ear before he kissed me again and it was just as passionate as the last one we shared before we broke apart and rested our foreheads together and we just stood there in a comfortable silence, “be my girlfriend” he said out of nowhere, “really” I asked and he nodded, “yes, be my girlfriend” he asked again and I smiled, “yes I’ll be your girlfriend” I answered him before we kissed each other until we noticed the door open to see my mom and we both just backed away, “I’ll see you later” I said blushing as he walked to his car, “see you later” he said before he got in the car and I waved goodbye before walking into the house, “so how was your date with Jasper Sweetie?” my mom asked, “it was really good actually. He asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes” I told her before she hugged me, “why don’t you go and get changed and I’ll bring you up a cup of tea alright” she and I nodded and went upstairs and had gotten changed just before my mom walked into the room after knocking on the door to hand me the mug and I just relaxed in my room for the rest of the night with a smile on my face.
