I got off of Derek and sat across from him. I ate a mint that was in a little candy bowl
"What are all those papers" I asked as he pulled a stack of papers out
"It is my recommendations for neuro" he said
"Wow" I said
"Yeah" he smiled
"Work for us" he said
"Derek" I said
"It will be so much better with you here. It's a good practice and we can take time off for the kids. Me and you are still on paternal leave but when we are off then we can do this. Together" he said
"You really don't want me to work anywhere else" I smiled
"No. No I don't" He said
"I still have a long time" I said
He grabbed his wallet and gave it to me.
"I um. You should buy some birth control" he said
"Derek oh no" I sighed
"I'm sorry. It- you- you're just ughhh. I'm so crazy for you" he said
I put his wallet into my pocket.
"Can we talk tonight" I asked
"About what" he asked
"Us like the family and what we'll do in the future with everything" I said
"Yeah of course. I'll be home at 7" he said
"Ok" I said getting up
I kissed him goodbye and left. I left the practice as everyone stared at me. I started walking to the pharmacy across the street. I found the plan b and grabbed it. I paid $54 for it. I grabbed Gatorade and lays chips as well. I left and opened the plan b. I took it with my Gatorade. I walked home which took about 20 minutes. I walked into the elevator and went up to my penthouse. I walked in and Amelia was there
"Finally. I have things to do" she said walking passed me as she left
I went over to Blake and held her. I fed her and put her back into a little crib that was down here. The kids were playing with their trucks.
"Hey do you guys want to go shopping" I smiled
30 minutes later
We were at a baby store nearby. Beckham and Blake were in a stroller. Bella and Bailey were next to me. We bought a bunch of things. We went to Cinnabons and grabbed cinnamon dough nuggets along with lemonade. We went back home. I gave the kids there food and helped them eat. They finished and I started eating the cinnamon nuggets. The elevator dinged and I looked over. Derek was there.
"What did you buy" he smiled
"Kid stuff" I smiled rolling my eyes
He walked over to me.
"I missed you" he said attacking my lips
He put his hand on the back of my hair and pushed me deeper into him
"Ewww" the kids said
We slowly pulled away and smiled. I looked down at the kids.
"Hey um why don't you guys play with your toys for a little while. Mommy and daddy need to talk for a minute" I smiled wiping my red lips
They left. Blake was in her crib next to me, sleeping. My legs started to get sore from earlier. I sat down at the couch.
"I have to tell you something. I can't keep this" he said
"What" I asked concerned
"I can't be this guy" he said
"Derek tell me" I said
"I keep thinking about our relationship. Something similar happened with my ex OLIVIA. I have been thinking about her lately" he said
"Sexually" I asked
"No. It's making me reminisce about it though and I don't know how to stop it. I don't think of her that way" he said
"But you are now. Have you talked to her" I asked
"I found out she died" he said
"Damn that- wow" I said
"I know and it feels like cheating" he sighed
"Hey trust me it's not. I understand that you miss her because you guys were friends" I said
"That's true" he said
"Don't feel guilty okay" I said
"Okay" he nodded walking in front of me
He sat next to me and looked at me. I smirked at him.
"So what did you want to say" he asked
"I want to talk about New York. What can we do here together with the kids" I asked
"We can take them to the Empire State Building and there's a lot of attractions in the center of New York City" he said
"Okay" I said
"Yeah we should do that soon" he smiled
"Yeah I'm looking forward to the Empire State Building" I smiled
"I've actually never been" he smiled
"Really" I smiled
"Yeah" he said
"Well it'll be the first for all of us" I smiled
1 hour later
I walked into our room in my robe. Derek was sitting on the ottoman in front of our bed. I walked over to him and kissed his lips. He grabbed my legs and pulled me on top of his lap and kept kissing my lips. He slowly pulled away to take his shirt off. I stared at his lips. He moved my robe down from my shoulders. He ran his hands over my bare back as he deepened the kiss. I felt his erection through his pants onto my leg. I started smiling from the power I have over him. I pushed him down with my face. The back of his head was on the bed as I kissed him and moved my hips onto his lap.
"Ooo Meredith hold on ohhh" he whispered pulling away from this kiss
"Is this too much for you" I whispered as he ran his hands up and down my back
"I'm not going to last" he whispered putting his hands in the back of my hair and pulling my head back down with his lips pressed against mine
He put his tongue down my throat and lifted me up. My robe fell down. He brought me to the bed and laid on it so that I was on top. I kept kissing his lips. One of our phones started ringing next to us. He ended the call
"They can wait" he said
I pulled his zipper down. He put his hand into his pants. The person started calling again. He took his hand out and sighed. I grabbed his phone and answered it
"Hello" I asked as he was watching me
"Is Derek shepherd there" a woman asked
"Yes I'm he's busy right now can I take a message" I asked
"Is he with you. We can't get out medical information" she said
"Yes one second" I said putting the phone on speaker
I gave it to Derek and leaned down. I started sucking on his neck
"Hello" he asked
He tried not to moan.
"Hi is this Derek Shepherd" she asked
"Mmhm" he said holding me deeper into him
"We would like to confirm your appointment for a prostate exam" she said
I stopped what I was doing and sat up. I looked at him confused. He didn't talk to me about it.
"Yes you can confirm it" He said
"Okay we'll see you on Tuesday" she said hanging up
He put his phone down
"My dad got prostate cancer at my age now and I'm worried" he said
"Do you feel anything" I asked
"It's a little uncomfortable" he said
I took a deep breath in and out. I laid next to him and pulled the blanket over my cold body. He held me close to him.
"I hope it goes well" I said
"Thanks. I do too" he whispered
"It's supposed to snow in the morning" I said
"I heard" he smiled
"Do you want to make a fireplace bed tomorrow" I smiled
"Yes and I'll use my favorite blanket like last time" he smiled kissing my cheek.
I scooted into him more and tried to get warm.
