girls night out

"It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light."
- Aristotle Onassis
————————————————————————

Caitlin sat in her office of STAR Labs, staring at her screen of an online airplane ticket. But she quickly clicked it away when she heard three girls giggling and chattering away heading towards her.

"Well, here you are." Caitlin turned around to find Kara, Iris and Felicity — Felicity holding colorful boas and a plastic tiara. "Okay, are you ready for the ladies' night to end all ladies' nights?"

"And by that, she means a quiet, low-key dinner at a very classy restaurant," Kara intervened, eyeing the other blonde.

"Yeah," the blonde said, eyeing the other blonde. "That's exactly what I mean. Super low-key, super quiet."

Kara eyed her a little suspiciously, narrowing her eyes. "Did you say Super all for my benefit?" She asked and Felicity nodded slightly.

"Yeah, yeah I did," she muttered and Iris laughed.

"Too bad Alex couldn't come along," Iris added. "Working sucks."

"So, do you want a pink or a blue feather boa?" Felicity asked, while wrapping one around Kara's shoulders.

"Actually, Kara," Caitlin started, causing the girls to look at her. "If it's okay, I don't think I'm gonna make it tonight. I'm just not feeling up to it."

"What?" Kara asked, her tone full of concern. "Are you feeling okay?"

"No, I'm fine. I just- Sometimes life catches up with you, you know?" Caitlin said.

Kara was about to say something when Felicity suddenly put a tiara on top of her curled blonde head. "That is because you're not wearing the tiara. Put on the tiara. Everything will change," Felicity said and Kara smiled, adjusting the tiara a little.

"Wearing the tiara, thank you," Kara said.

"You're welcome," Felicity said.

"Caitlin," Kara said, looking back to the girl. "Please come. We've worked together for the past five years and it's always working. We never get to do a dinner just us. You have to come."

"She's right," Iris said and Caitlin looked at Kara again, to see her almost pouting. "Just one dinner, please?" Kara asked and Caitlin sighed. "Don't make me pout."

"Wouldn't miss it," Caitlin said and Kara smiled.

Fancy Restaurant

Sitting down for dinner, Kara, Iris, Caitlin, Felicity and Cecile all smiled among each other, dressed up nice with feather boas. Added bonus, Kara was wearing a white sash that read: FUTURE MRS. DANVERS-ALLEN

Kara wore a light blue ruched lantern long sleeve dress, while Iris wore a spaghetti strap dark navy dress, Felicity wore an off the shoulder dark blue dress, Caitlin wore a white sweater with a pink school skirt, and Cecile wore a a white dress.

The waiter poured them all glasses before walking off. "So fancy," Cecile said.

"Yeah," Felicity said before they all raised their glasses. "A toast to the future Mrs. Allen."

"Danvers-Allen," Kara corrected, gesturing to her sash and Felicity smiled.

"Danvers-Allen. Although your life with Barry may be fast-paced, I hope you guys take the time to enjoy the special moment." Kara smiled with a slight pout, in awe of the gesture.

"Aww," she started as everyone smiled at her. "Thank you guys for coming. It really means a lot. Cheers."

They all clinked their glasses before starting to sip on their champagne. Except of course Cecile. "Well, all right, who wants my champagne?" She asked as Caitlin gulped down her first glass. "Craziest thing I get to do tonight is order two desserts."

"I'll take it," Caitlin said, and Cecile gave it to her. But Kara watched the girl in worry as she now gulped down a second glass of champagne.

"That's right," Felicity started, pulling Kara from her thoughts. "Kara and Iris told me you were pregnant. How's that going?"

"Yeah, it's g- it's good. I mean, it wasn't exactly part of my plan, but I just could not be happier," Cecile said.

"I know exactly what you mean," Felicity said while smiling.

"Oh, yeah, how is everything with Oliver and William?" Iris asked.

"It's an adjustment but it's amazing. Exhilarating," Felicity said and all the girls smiled, except for Caitlin it seemed. It looked like she was held up by something else. Or someone else.

"Do I hear wedding bells ringing in your future?" Cecile asked.

"Oh, no, the last time we did anything that resembled a wedding, Oliver got shot with an arrow, so—" But then a creepy looking man walked up to them, all in leather, half his hair was shaved, and one eye was completely white. They all stared at him confused except for Caitlin, who almost looked terrified of him. "Uh, did you girls order a stripper?" Kara caught Felicity's eyes, the other of confusion. "Why didn't you tell me? I would've brought all my singles."

"What? No, I-"

But the man he just stared tauntingly at everyone. "Girl, you into some freaky stuff," Felicity said and Kara gave her a look.

"I didn't order a stripper. And I told everyone I didn't want one," Kara said.

"Amunet wants you," the man said, looking right at Caitlin, and this caught Kara's attention.

"Caitlin?" Kara asked and the brunette looked at her for a slight second. "Do you know him?"

"You need to come with me," the man said and Caitlin looked back at him.

"I'm not going anywhere with you," Caitlin said.

"Please tell me that this is just part of his act," Cecile said but Kara could just tell something was off.

"I don't-"

"If it is, it's taking too long," Felicity said before she started snapping. "Take it off!"

Suddenly, his white eye popped out and landed into a glass of champagne, causing the girls to gasp. "Gross! I meant take off your pants, not your eye!" But the girls started to shriek when a hissing creature swayed it's way out of the man's eye. Kara got the girls to back up away from the man as Caitlin just glared up at him.

The people in the restaurant started to scream and run out of the restaurant as Caitlin knocked the table over to keep the man away. She narrowed her eyes at him, staring right at the creature. Felicity ran out in front of Cecile and Iris as Kara glared at the man. One thing you don't do, is crash a Kryptonian's bachelorette's party. "Stand back, baby mamma, we got this," Felicity said before she grabbed a chair a hit the man hard in the back. He lurched forward a moment before snapping back at Felicity, and she backed off terrified but then Kara stepped in. She punched him straight in the jaw, an evil sparkle in her eye, and was glad Barry's diamond was purposely indestructible because he knows his girl better than anyone else.

"Don't you know," Kara said before she punched the other side of his jaw. "It's rude to crash," She then punched him again. "A bachelorette's party?"

His hissing creature snapped right in her face, but she grabbed onto it, just for her to let it go in pain. It must have stung her somehow. The man turned back to Caitlin while the girls watched. "Please don't do this," She begged.

"Didn't have to be this way," the man said.

Kara stared at Caitlin taken aback, her eyes not believing what she was seeing when she saw Caitlin's eyes crystallize. Her hands fogged up ice, and her hair turned completely white. Killer Frost was back. "Caitlin?"

"I was hoping to see you again," The man said as Frost ever so slightly threw the boa off her shoulders.

"Really?" She asked with her voice distorted like usual. But that voice — all I did was give Kara horrible flashbacks to what Frost did to her, to Barry, to everyone. "So I could give you another scar?" She then ice blasted him through a glass window and the girls, all kneeled down behind a standing Kara, stared at the evil Elsa  — completely dumbfounded.

Frost looked down at her before rolling her eyes. "Ugh. I hate pink," she said before grabbing the bottle of champagne and gulping it.

STAR Labs

Walking into the cortex, Kara was on the phone, trying to reach Barry, as Iris, Felicity, Cecile and Frost all followed her. "They're not picking up," Kara grumbled to herself before her attempted 17th call went to voicemail. "Bartholomew Henry Allen. I don't know why it is so difficult to answer a simple little phone call when you're at Joe's house. Call me back. Now!"

She then walked after Frost after ending her voicemail into the med bay. "What the hell just happened?" Cecile asked as they followed the two as well. "Who was that Medusa man?"

"You know that is not a Cisco-approved name," Felicity said.

"Don't worry about who that was," Frost said as they entered the med bay. "Caitlin's taste in clothes is matched only by her taste in men- both terrible."

"Wait a minute," Iris said as Frost got a zipped up bag in the corner. "Now Julian — he was pretty cute."

"Cute? Please, he was hot as hell," Kara said and Frost looked back at them annoyed. "Sorry, how are you you? I thought Caitlin was cured."

"Caitlin shouldn't be keeping secrets from her friends," Frost said as Kara walked up to the table the white haired placed the bag on. "You are friends, right?"

"Yes," Kara sternly said. "I know we had a rough patch when Barry got back but we've been friends for the past five years."

"Well, your friend was going out of town tonight," Frost said, unzipping her bag.

"What? Why?" Kara asked.

"Because she got herself into something she couldn't handle," Frost said.

"Why didn't she say anything? I could've helped-"

"Not all of us want or need to be rescued by the Girl of Steel," Frost told her, and the blonde frowned.

"Where are you going?" Iris asked.

"To find Norvock's boss," Frost said, indicating the man's name. "And kill her."

"And you need a change of clothes for that because-" Felicity started but Frost didn't care sense she took her shirt off, flashing everyone. "Whoa!" They all immediately turned around, their eyes now facing the door instead of Frost. "Whoa, okay, apparently somebody doesn't have boundary issues."

"Uh, okay, girls, can I talk to you in the cortex?" Kara asked before quickly storming out of the med bay and into the cortex, the girls following.

Closing the door behind her, Felicity stared at Kara, Iris and Cecile unsure of the situation and what exactly did she miss. "Can we take it back for a minute? Since when did her superpowers make her a supervillain?"

"Since always!" Iris exclaimed but Kara snapped her fingers at them.

"She is not a villain!" Kara whispered.

"I remember being kidnapped by her last year," Cecile whispered and Kara gave her a look.

"What?" Felicity asked and Cecile nodded.

"Okay, yes, but that is because she was being manipulated by Savitar, and in the end, we wouldn't have been able to stop him without her," Kara whispered before aggressively pointing at Iris. "And you know it."

"Yeah, says the one who shot and killed him!" Iris whispered and Felicity gasped.

"You killed someone?!" She whispered.

"He was trying to kill us all!" Kara whispered, but she then calmly sighed, trying to gather herself. "I know there is good in her."

"I get it. Technically, Caitlin is underneath all of that somewhere, but she is still dangerous," Cecile whispered.

"But she is still our friend, and I'm not gonna abandon her," Kara whispered.

"Fine," Cecile whispered and Kara smiled. "I'm coming with you."

"No," Kara whispered, her smile dropping. "Cecile, you're pregnant."

"And Joe will kill me if his son's future bride gets killed at her own bachelorette party," Cecile whispered.

"They can't hurt me-"

"I'm coming too," Iris whispered.

"That is some crazy logic and that means I'm in too," Felicity whispered and Kara rolled her eyes.

"Oh, great, happy bachelorette," Kara whispered.

"What are you all talking about?"

The four swung around to find that Frost just walked out from the med bay, wearing leather pants, boots, and a leather blue long sleeved jacket. "Oh, nothing, you know, just talking about how cool it is to kill people and such," Felicity said but then realized what she said. "No pun intended."

"It's been real, ladies," Frost said before she walked out of the cortex, and Kara gave her a fake smile until she was gone.

The sun blonde immediately looked at the dyed blonde, giving her a look through their glasses. "I'm gonna use the STAR Labs satellite to track her cold signature," Felicity said, walking off.

"Great, I'm gonna try and call the house phone this time," Kara said, pulling her phone out.

"I'll call Mon-El, see if he'll pick up two seconds after I call like he used to," Iris said and Kara gave her an odd look. "And, to you know, see if he can be contacted."

"And I'll remember that it's Caitlin under there," Cecile said.

Unknown Dive Bar

Killer Frost stormed into the bar, but as she walked through the small hallway to get into the partying, a guy suddenly grabbed her wrist. But he was tugging at her, a lustfull smirk on his lips. So Frost grabbed his wrist touching her, icing it up, causing him to groan in pain. Now she smirked at him, "Oh, I'm sorry. I thought touching without permission is what you wanted," she said before she yanked her hand out of his grip and continued on into the bar.

She pushed through the crowd, icing people who got in her way until she walked up to a bodyguard standing behind the owner of the bar. "I'd let me pass. Unless you wanna know what it feels like when the liquid in your eyeballs crystallizes."

"Darling, you're here!"

Frost looked past the bodyguard and to see a woman sitting down on a leather couch, with Norvock standing next to her like a lost puppy. This woman had a British accent, with hard core makeup up, her hair up in a braided ponytail, and dressed all in black. "Let her in! Let her in, let her in!"

The bodyguard stepped to the side and Frost walked up to the woman as she stood up from the couch. "Amunet. Next time you wanna talk, come yourself. Don't send your eye-hole to attack me," Frost said and Amunet gasped before looking back at Norvock.

"Did you start a fight? Honestly, Norvock. That's why you're my third favorite henchman," Amunet said. "I mean, what do I always say?"

"Never start a fight you can't finish," Frost said and Amunet looked back at her.

"Hmm? And that, my dear, is why you're my favorite. You listen," she said.

"Apparently you don't. I'm out, Amunet," Frost said.

"Out? Out of what? Out of options? Out of your mind? Out of the closet? There's just so many outs for the lady in blue," Amunet said and Frost slightly tilted her head.

"Are you asking me to dance?" She asked.

"You should know by now I don't ask for anything. I tell, and I take," Amunet said and Frost narrowed her eyes. "Now, come along. I want to show you something that could make us both very rich." She then picked up a nearby bag and started walking off, Frost and Norvock reluctantly following her.

♪ Came to party and beat will go on ♪

Meanwhile, the girls followed a determined Kara into the drugged up bar, sending a shiver down the alien's spine. "All right, do you think they're gonna be able to tell that we don't exactly fit in here?" Felicity asked.

"Well, it was your idea to wear boas, so no," Iris said.

"Have we heard from the guys yet?" Cecile asked.

"No," Iris answered.

"We are on our own, okay?" Kara said. "We don't need some man to come save us, okay? We got this."

Suddenly, Kara could feel something rubbing up behind her, so she immediately turned around, and grabbed the man's hand. "How about a little love?"

"No!" Felicity yelled as Kara shoved him off. "No, no, no, no, no. No. No love."

Kara flinged her wedding finger in his face, even though he was high out of his mind. "Engaged. Bye now," she said.

"No love," Felicity said as the man walked away while Cecile eyed her surroundings.

"Is it just me, or does it seem like everybody here already bought what that guy is selling?" She asked as Kara suddenly saw Norvock through the crowds, walking into a door, following after Amunet and Frost.

"Stay here, okay? I think I know where Frost is," Kara said before she started to push through the crowds.

———

When Kara walked through the door the others did, she floated right above the steps so she wouldn't make any noise, right as Frost got downstairs.

She saw what everyone saw — a bruised and unhealthy skinny man was chained up in the middle of the basement. "You got a pet. Congratulations," Frost dully said.

"I call him The Weeper," Amunet said, standing next to the man. "I live naming metas."

"I know someone else like that," Frost said.

"Three weeks ago, this young man became a meta-human and I acquired my new favorite product to sell in my network. Did you notice?" Amunet asked but Frost stared at her confused.

"Love is quite literally in the air. Do you know why?" She then kicked the man in the stomach, causing yet another bruise, and a single tear fell down from his eye. He looked up at Amunet to reveal that his tears were glowing blue. Amunet dipped her finger in the drop before consuming it into her body, causing her body to feel more heightened. "Pure."

"His tears are a drug?" Frost asked.

"His tears, my dear — are a gold mine. One taste and Central City will be hooked," Amunet said.

"Then why do you need me?" Frost asked as Amunet walked over to Norvock.

"Really? Well, if I'm going to be selling something quite valuable, I'm going to need protection," Amunet said.

"That's what you've got good old snake-eye for," Frost said.

"A deal like this requires a lady's touch. In your case, strength, and I'll cut you in for ten percent," Amunet but Frost gave her a look. "Fifteen percent, and I throw in not killing you right now for your misguided rebellion. And that is only because I've got forgiveness in my kidneys, right?"

"I think you meant heart," Frost said.

"No, there's no beat beat in this chest, sister," Amunet said.

"As much fun it is to play, I'm the bigger badass, I'm bored. And like I said, I'm done," Frost said and Amunet smiled a little.

"Do you know what everyone's mistake in business is? Hmm? Not realizing who has the power in the room," Amunet said before she held out her hand in beside her. The bag she brought down started rumbling with all the hard metal inside it.

Seeing this as a threat, Frost iced up her palms, ready for a fight, because she wouldn't go back with Amunet. "Whoa, whoa, whoa!" The three looked as Kara suddenly ran down the stairs, a worried smile on her lips. "Hey, hey, hey. Ladies, ladies, let's put the meta-abilities down."

"I'm sorry, who is this chick?" Amunet asked and Kara adjusted her glasses before looking at the woman.

"This chick is the one trying to stop a meta-fight," Kara sternly said before looking at Frost. "Let's go." But the white-haired's eyes glowed more. "Frost."

Frost stood down once she looked at her then went with Kara back upstairs as Amunet and Norvock watched them. "Should I stop her?" Norvock asked.

"No. Let her think she can walk away," Amunet said.

STAR Labs

Kara stormed after a crazed Killer Frost back into the cortex as Iris, Cecile and Felicity followed. "She could have killed you, Danvers," Frost said.

"No, she couldn't," Kara argued.

"You have no idea what she's capable of," Frost said as she searched the open room for something.

"Who was that?" Iris asked.

"That was Amunet Black," Frost said.

"Of the underground market?" Cecile asked.

"Oh, I'm guessing this shock has a criminal record," Felicity said.

"Yeah, she's been linked to the meta-human black market selling stolen technology, but we've never been able to nail her down," Cecile explained.

"And how do you know her?" Iris asked.

"Through Caitlin," Frost begun. "Seven months ago, Caitlin thought she had everything under control."

"Can't keep a good bad side down for long, am I right?" Felicity asked and Iris side eyed her.

"She felt me becoming much stronger. She found out that Amunet had some tech that would let her stay in charge. She got desperate, so she decided to use it. But it came with a price tag," Frost explained.

"Which- which was?" Felicity asked.

"Being her muscle," Frost said.

"Did you kill anyone?" Cecile asked and Frost slowly looked back at her.

"Some people lost their fingers and their toes, but no, no one died," Frost said before getting back to grabbing things she needed.

"And how are you here now?" Kara asked.

"While Caitlin sleeps, I am awake," Frost said.

"Oh, my God! You're like The Incredible Hulk!" Felicity randomly blurted out, causing Kara to slowly look back at her, making the brighter blonde to realize how she said it. "That's- I said that with too much chutzpah." Kara nodded. "Dialing it back."

Kara then looked back at the Frost, who was looking back at everyone now. "What are Amunet's plans for The Weeper?" She asked.

"Not my problem," Frost said as she started to walk across the room.

"Actually he is our problem. He was on that bus. We created him, we have to save him," Kara said, watching Frost's moves.

"No," Frost said, looking back at the blonde. "I need to leave and escape Amunet."

"And you're just gonna run away?" Cecile asked.

"Listen, there's a reason the CCPD has not caught her. And that you idiots just realized there's a major crime lord living under your noses for the past four years. She's too powerful. We can't stop her," Frost said before she started to walk away again, but stopped to look at Kara again. "And yes, she could have killed you. She has ways to hurt a Kryptonian. J'onn should have gotten rid of his kryptonite a lot longer than he did."

She then walked away and Kara huffed, looking back at the girls. "We have a responsibility to The Weeper and to the city," Kara told them.

"What do you suggest?" Iris asked.

"We need to rescue him before Amunet does whatever she's planning. Cecile, gather information on Amunet, Felicity, you need to pull up the blueprints to the club, and Iris — call the boys again to tel them I'm gonna kick their meta and alien asses," Kara explained and they all nodded. "We are strong women, we can do this."

"#Feminism," Cecile said, fisting her hand out.

"#Feminism," Felicity said.

"#Feminism," Iris said.

"#Feminism," Kara said.

———

Just a few minutes later, Kara walked into the med bay to find Frost still gathering her things. "Where are you going?" Kara asked and Frost looked back at her for a moment before getting back to packing up.

"I know a guy who can breach me to another Earth. Start over. Escape Amunet. Be who I wanna be," Frost said.

"And that's Killer Frost, right?" Kara asked and Frost looked back at her for a moment again.

"Don't be cute, Danvers. You can't stop me," Frost said before she looked back in front of her, but Kara stayed quiet for a moment.

"I know you could probably kill me. Just like you could've killed Amunet tonight or Cisco seven months ago. But you didn't. There is a part of you that is good. And decent. You just don't know how to accept it," Kara told her, causing Frost to face her again.

"You think you know me now?" She asked.

"No. But I do know what Caitlin looks like when she's scared. And you have that same look in your eyes right now," Kara said, and Frost couldn't help but look into the blonde's pleading eyes. "You are just as afraid of being Caitlin as Caitlin is of being Killer Frost."

She then placed her hands on Frost's shoulders, trying to connect with her, to get her to help. "If you still wanna have a hand for Barry to put a ring on, I suggest you move it," Frost said and Kara hesitantly backed off before Frost grabbed her things and walked off.

Streets of Central City

On the bad side of town, Killer Frost stood in an alleyway, waiting for someone to show up. So when she felt a presence behind her she smiled. "You're late," she said.

"I'm right on time," a voice said, and a surprised Frost turned to find Amunet standing behind her. "What, were you expecting a different meta? Nobody walks away from me, Frost," She then reached her fist out again. The bag of hard metal latched onto her hand as Frost's eyes glowed in fear again. Amount shot a built up metal at Frost's shoulder, causing the girl to blast back onto the ground.

Frost rolled across the road, before quickly getting up again. She ice blasted at Amunet but the crime lord used the metal to create a shield from the ice. She turned the shield back to normal before shooting loads of metal at Frost, knocking the girl down. She held onto her wounds painfully as Amunet walked up to her. "Did you really think I was going to let you just breach into the sunset?" She asked before she pulled Frost up by the jacket and punched her. "You owe me your life." She punched her again, and again, and Frost scattered away.

Her hair turned back to its normal brown hair and eyes back to brown right as Amunet punched her again, causing gash of blood on her eyebrow. She punched her again, knocking her out, then dropping her body onto the ground. "And I always take what I'm owed."

"Hands over your head, ma'am."

Amunet sighed before she turned around, her hands up, to be facing two cops holding their guns at her. "Is there any part of the way that I'm dressed that leads you to believe I want to be called ma'am? Hmm?" But they didn't answer her so she just shot two metal pieces into fatal parts of her body, and when she dragged the metals back to her arm, the officers fell to the ground dead. She looked at her arm of metal and looked annoyed. "Ugh. Blood." She sighed before turning back around to finish the job when she saw Supergirl, holding Caitlin in bridal style, and right then she flew away, too fast for Amunet to do anything. "Kill you later, Caity."

STAR Labs

Kara, changed into a blue sweater and blue jeans, slowly walked into the med bay to find a bruised Caitlin stitching up her own wounds. She tugged at her blue sweater, trying to casually ease her way into the room.

"Let me help you," Kara said and Caitlin looked up at her. "Please."

She sighed before handing the tweezers over to Kara. "It's already knotted, you just have to pull it tight," Caitlin said and Kara softly nodded before grabbing hold to the string, then pulling on it. She placed the tweezers down, then cut the string with some near scissors. "Thank you." Kara then crossed her arms, facing the bruised girl. "What happened?"

"You don't remember?" Kara asked, her eyebrows twitching into concern.

"When she's in control, I don't remember much of what happens. Did she- I hurt anyone?" Caitlin asked.

"Just the snake-eyed scumbag," Kara said and Caitlin smiled. "Didn't kill him, though." Caitlin nodded as questions just tugged at Kara. "So, the cure, it-"

"Didn't work," Caitlin answered. "Not all the way."

"Which is why you wanted to leave tonight?" Kara asked and Caitlin nodded. "And why it took seven months for you to come back?"

"When Cisco said he was gonna get Barry back from the Speed Force, I thought that maybe I could come back and make up for some of the pain that I caused, but she's getting stronger," Caitlin explained before scoffing. "I never should've come back."

"No, Caitlin," Kara said and Caitlin looked at her. "You can always come back to your friends. Why didn't you tell anyone?"

"I didn't know who to talk to," Caitlin said.

"What about me? I'm your friend, Caitlin," Kara said.

"Work friend. I mean, it's not like you and I have become besties over the last few years. You and Iris are the besties, I'm just in the background," Caitlin said but Kara stared at her worried, not believing she actually thought that.

Thinking back on it, Kara had always invited Iris to everything and never Caitlin. Maybe that needed to change. And immediately, because Kara cared about Caitlin just as much as she cared about Iris.

Later on, in the cortex, Felicity looked at a sample of the blue glowed tears. "These tears are more than just water," She said before turning to Kara while Iris and Cecile stood by her. "When ingested, the dark matter inside it alters the brain function like that of a psychoactive drug."

"So, it's like, what, an opioid?" Iris asked as Felicity typed away at the computer.

"It's like a love drug," Felicity said before looking back at Kara. "From tears."

Caitlin sighed as she stood nearby, staring at the girls work hard. "If this spreads, Central City's gonna have a massive drug problem on its hands," Cecile said.

"We need to stop Amunet and save The Weeper before that happens," Kara said.

"How do we find her?" Iris asked Caitlin.

"I don't know. She's smart. Off the grid, always on the move, never leaves a trail," Caitlin said.

"What about her powers? The metal she controls. Do you know what it is?" Kara asked.

"Some kind of alnico alloy," Caitlin said and Kara turned to Felicity.

"Do you think you could use our satellites to track it?" She asked.

"You mean run a geological scan of the city for small-scale signatures of aluminum, nickel and cobalt?" Felicity asked before looking back at a confused Kara. "Girl, please."

Felicity typed away until the computer beeped on a location. "There," Cecile said, pointing it out. "She's headed to Lawrence Hills. That's all industrial out there." Kara looked at the screen while Cecile continued. "That's steel mills, docks, warehouses."

Kara took her glasses off, giving everyone a stern look. "We need to stop her," she said and they all nodded before they started to leave the cortex.

"Guys, I can't go with you," Caitlin said and they looked back at her. "If I lose control, I could become a liability. I'm sorry, Kara, I can't go,"

But Kara smiled. "It's okay. You don't have to," Kara said before she headed out of the cortex and the others followed.

Lawrence Hills

Supergirl sneaked around the background of an industrial building with Iris and Felicity following her when a truck drove into the building. Amunet got out of the truck to be met with a Japanese man waiting for her. She hugged him as Supergirl narrowed her eyes at the scene.

"Ladies, what's your status?"

"We're in position," Supergirl whispered into comms.

"I think you'll be pleased," Amunet said guiding to the back of the truck where Norvock was waiting. He opened the back of the truck, revealing the Weeper chained inside.

"This him?" The Japanese man asked and Amunet nodded. Norvock then punched the Weeper hard in the chest, causing one of the tears to roll down his cheek. Amunet smiled, stepping forward, and crested his cheek.

"Good boy," she said before dipping her finger into the tears. She turned to the Japanese man with a smile. "Sample?" He nodded before opening his mouth and Amunet dropped the drug into his mouth.

He suddenly felt exhilarated and happy, "I'll take him."

"On my count, we move," Supergirl whispered to the girls. "One, two-"

But then Iris and Felicity felt a gun placed on their backs, causing them to tense up. "Three." Supergirl gasped before turning around to see three men behind them, but when she was going to snatch their weapons away, she was faced with a blaster in her face — that glowed green. Her breath hitched up as she started to feel a little dizzy.

As the men pushed the girls towards Amunet, the crime lord couldn't help but stare at Supergirl. "I remember you," she said.

"No you don't," Supergirl said.

"You are the chick from the bar, hmm? You had glasses on before, that's right," Amunet said and Supergirl stared at her annoyed. "I met Supergirl's secret identity and didn't even care to get her name. Bugger."

"Hey, Amunet." They all swirled around to find Caitlin in Killer Frost's outfit, walking towards them. "This is between you and me. Let my friends go and I'll come back and work for you."

"Oh," Amunet started. "It's— Its too late for that, Caity. Do you know why no one has ever testified against me over the years, hmm? Well, it's because they're not alive to," Caitlin tensed up as Supergirl's grip tightened. "Sorry. Take care of them."

Caitlin watched as guns were aimed for her friends, and a defenseless Supergirl. "NO!" She screamed as ice fog surrounded her.

When the fog disappeared, Killer Frost was on the other side of it. She looked at the Kryptonite gun on Supergirl and that was the first thing she froze. Supergirl smiled before she slammed it to the ground, shattering it to pieces. "Well, hello, Chilly," Amunet said as Iris and Felicity ran over to Frost while Supergirl took her time. She and Frost now stood together, facing Amunet and her crew.

"We gotta get out of here," Felicity said.

"And I thought I wasn't going to be able to kill anyone today," Amunet said before she reached out her hand and the metal surrounded her hand, then shot four pieces of metal towards the girls.

Together, Frost iced and Supergirl used freeze breath to create a ice domain around the group, keeping them isolated. For now. "Kill them!"

Immediately the domain started to shake from the heavy gun fire they were receiving, and everyone knew it wouldn't last long. But Supergirl would do what she could until the very end. "I don't think this is gonna hold much longer," Frost said.

"Well, this is a steel factory. And you move steel plates with-"

"Magnets," Felicity said and the two looked at each other. "Really, really big magnets."

"Tell me what you're thinking ladies," Supergirl said.

"Cecile, turn the crane on," Iris said on comms.

"What? How?"

"Uh, should be in the schematics, just- Just highlight it and turn it on," Felicity said.

Right then, Frost and Supergirl destroyed the domain together, the destruction sending all of Amunet's thugs to the ground. Amunet stared at the group, mainly at Frost, in annoyance. "You and I could have been gods."

"I used to work with a god. Over it," Frost said and Supergirl smiled.

Amunet held her hand out, the metals about to hit the ground, when Iris pressed her comms again. "Cecile, now!"

Suddenly, all the metals from Amunet and from her bucket magnate from her to a nearby crane. All of it. She looked back at the girls, defeated, even though she'd never admit it.

Supergirl's smile slowly dropped when she saw Frost created an icicle in her hands. "Not so scary without your bling now, are ya, sister?" She asked, but right before she was going to plunge it into Amunet's heart, Supergirl quickly intervened.

"Stop!" She yelled and Frost froze. "Caitlin, stop."

"I'm not Caitlin," Frost said as Supergirl carefully approached her. "And I'll never be free unless she dies."

"No, you are free right now. But if you do this, you will be a killer. Killer Frost, Caitlin—You don't have to be one or the other. You can be both. You get to decide who you are," Supergirl said and Frost stiffened up. She then broke the icicle as Amunet glared.

"You've become soft," she said and Frost eyed her. "She's made you soft."

"Get out of here," Frost told her. "Before I change my mind."

"You've ruined this for me today. And one day soon, I promise you — I will ruin something for you," Amunet said but Frost scoffed.

"I highly doubt that," she said and Amunet gave Supergirl one last look down before she walked out.

The blonde hero then walked up to the Weeper and crushed his chains apart. "You're safe now," she assured but the Weeper looked terrified of her.

"Get away from me," he said before jumping down and running off.

Once he was gone, Cecile walked out. "The police are on their way," she told them.

"We did it guys. We actually did it," Felicity said.

"Actually, it's girls," Iris said and Frost slightly smiled as she looked at Supergirl.
