A group of four twenty one year olds sat around the round bar table drinking shots.
"I May Not live to see our glory!" Bad said as he stood up holing his glass to the roof of the bar smiling.
"I May not live to see our glory." The others reciprocated and leaned back in their chair following the others antics.
"But iv'e seen wonders great and small!" Bad beamed, reminiscing on the past times.
"I've seen wonders great and small." The others slurred, half drunk but still sober enough to understand what the other was saying.
"'Cause if the tom cat can get married." Bad said looking at Dream and wiggling his eye brows, referencing Dream's newly wedded husband; George, the others had met him and he was perfect for their dear friend.
"If Dreamy can get married." The others repeated giving the same sickly sweat smile.
"There's hope for our ass after all!" Quackity screamed. Bad crossed his eye brows and glarred daggers into the mans head.
"LANGUAGE!" He shouted starring holes into the males head, Quackity cowered under Bad's stare.
"Raise a glass to Freedom!" Skeppy said standing up and holding his glass, as attempt to take Bad's attention away from killing Quackity. Bad then shifted his attention to Skeppy and smiled softly.
"Something Dream will never see again!" Quackity screamed while the others laughed and Dream glared while smiling.
"No matter what George tells him!" Skeppy screamed along with Quackity as Dream smiled an shook his head fondly.
"Let's have another round tonight." Bad said sighing chugging another shot which surprised the others on the table.
"Raise a glass to the four of us!" Quackity said smiling at his friends and held his glass up in the air almost pouring half of his drink on him.
"We'll tell the story the story of tonight." Skeppy says and sits back down slowly calming himself and looking at his friend, wondering how he was lucky enough to deserve these wonderful people.
"Let's have another round-" Bad began to toast but was rudely interrupted by Dream.
"Well if it isn't Sapnap." He said eyeing the man infront of them and rasing his eye brows.
"Sir." Sapnap said looking at Dream and smiling as Dream patted a spot at their table, he gladly sat down and began to endorse in conversation with Bad who was like father figure to him.
"I came to say congratulations!" Sapnap said mentioning the wedding and smiling fondly at Dream.
"I see the whole gang is here." Sapnap teased looking at the others with a judging look and the others visibly grimaced.
"You are the worst Sapnap!" Quackity groaned and face palmed while sighing.
"Ignore them, congrats to you, Lieutenant Colonel. I wish I had your command instead of manning Shlatt's journal." Dream said shrugging his shoulders and looking at the younger with admiration.
"No, you don't." Sapnap scoffed at Dream's lie reading him easily Dream blushed and soon fell back into his firm facade.
"Yes, I do." Dream bit back scoffing, glarring at Sapnap trying to save his ego and dignity.
"Now, be sensible I hear you have made yourself indispensable." Sapnap said articulating every word very matter of a factly raising his eye brows at Dream who looked away.
"Well, well I heard you have a special someone on the side, Sapnap." Quackity said raising his eye brows adn nudging Skeppy like middle school girls.
"Is that so?" Dream asked smirking at Sapnap with his eyes raised as Sapnap looking away.
"What are you trying to hide Sapnap?" Skeppy said laughing.
"I should go!" Sapnap said trying to avoid this question adn get the hell out of there.
"No, these guys should go!" Dream said ushering the other men to another table. Despite Quackity and Skeppy's pleas to 'watch the drama go down.' Dream had no idea on what they were talking about.
"It's alright Nick, I wish you brought this boy with you tonight Nick." Dream said, his face softening knowing Sapnap's sexuality, Nick blushed and avoided direct eye contact.
"You're very Kind, but i'm afraid that's unlawful sir." Sapnap said sighing and scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment.
"What do you mean?" Dream asked confused, if Sapnap loved this boy he should get him, he shouldn't be afraid.
"He's married." Sapnap said disappointed peering down at his hands, Dreams eyes softened knowing the boys pain.
"I see?" He said wanting to go deeper into this reason. Sapnap sighed and shook his head on how nosey Dream was being.
"He's married to a British officer." He said blankly and laughed.
"Oh shit." Dream said laughing, eyes widening. There was no way Sapnap had a chance at this boy if he was married, and to a British officer they were literally at a war. Sapnap and Dream both laughed and smiled.
"See you on the other side of the war?" Sapnap said standing up and holding his hand out, Dream then stood up and gladly took it and smiled.
