Luciens POV
I was trying to go over which warriors would come from Marcus' pack to train over at mine. Key word being trying. He's a pain in the ass to work with to say the least. But I'm only cooperating still for the sake of Anastasia.
Just as my frustration hit its peak with Alpha Marcus, my mates mouth watering scent invades my system.
Ana knocks on the door, waiting for Marcus' reply.
"What is it?!"
Marcus asks on a frustrated growl. The nerve he has to use that tone towards my mate. I've never had to hold myself back so much from killing someone.
My anger, however, lessens when I hear her voice.
"It's Ana sir"
She reply's with a cool tone. I hear the slightest growl being held back from her. I don't like her calling Marcus sir. Only make she should call sir is me when I fuck her til she's unconscious.
""Come in Ana"
Alpha Marcus reply's more calm time. Although, I don't like the tone he's using with my mate.
"What do you need dear Ana?"
Marcus asks with that same tone in his voice. It pisses me off and I clench my fists while releasing a low menacing growl.
Marcus doesn't seem to be bothered by my bold act as if he didn't even see or hear me. He was zoned him on my little mate and I was on the verge of ripping his spine out from where he sits.
"I can wait til you're alone sir, I didn't realize you had company"
Ana says slightly irritated herself. Like hell I wanna leave her alone with this asshole.
"Oh no worries Alpha Black and I were just finishing up here, weren't we Black?"
Marcus finally turns his focus on me while questioning me with that condescending tone of his.
I don't miss the disrespect from Alpha Marcus and not will I forget it. I will, however, get even. I don't okay nice and if need be I won't play fair.
Will that in mind I respond,
"I'll be back"
As I near my mate I make and effort in brushing my shoulder against hers and for a second I forgot why I was so angry. She was all I could hear, smell and see.
Sparks flare between us down our arms. I could see a shiver roll through Ana and the reaction I get from her makes my dick hard. Goddess the things I would do to her right now.
Unfortunately though I can't. So with that I take my leave.
I pray to the moon goddess that Marcus caught sight of that because I'm the only man that will ever get that reaction out of my lithe little mate.

Leaving Alpha Marcus' office left a bad taste in my mouth. He's a cocky little prick and if it weren't for my little spitfire of a mate I would've ended him by now.
The way he addressed her and how he was basically eye fucking her right in front of me without a care in the world. Nasty fuck, he's so damn lucky! My wolf and I would've used his bones to clean our fucking teeth after killing him.
Maybe I should stay nearby just in case he tries something with her. I have a bad feeling and I can't seem to shake it off. If he touches her I'll kill him. Problem solved. Simple as that. What's mine is mine and if he fucking touches her I'll kill him.
I can feel her through our mate bond. It's not nearly as strong as it will be when I mark and mate her but it's still there. That way, I can kind of get an idea of what she's feeling at least.
I keep walking towards my cabin I'm staying in while focusing on her through our bond.
All I can feel from her is irritation and maybe some anger.
I continue walking down one of the paths towards my cabin.
I begin to think about warriors and getting ready to head back home. I'm sick of being here with the pig headed Alpha, Marcus.
He's reason for still breathing is my delicious little mate Ana.
Just as I'm reaching my cabin I feel immense anger but not my own. It's Ana's.
With that I take off towards Alpha Marcus' office.

As I near the office I hear growling and screaming.
I whip the door open only to come face to face with a pissed off Ana and terrified Marcus.
I get over my shock and awe at the situation to stop Ana from ripping his throat out.
With my hand on her arm, Ana turns to me to see who I am and stops herself from attacking when she notices that it's me. I hold her stare and say,
"Ana calm down, you don't want to do this."
I say with a lighter tone as to try and not piss her off further, while still holding onto her arm.
I soften my gaze and silently plead with her to stop before she does something that will ruin her or get her killed.
A few seconds go by as Ana thinks about this. However, I know what she's chosen once she raised her head. Her eyes gave her away.
Before I could react quick enough she rips her arm out of my grip and lunges at Marcus with a snarl.
Just as her claws grazed Alpha Marcus' throat I lunged at her knocking her out.
Getting up with Ana in my arms I walk over to where Marcus is cowering on the floor.
"I suggest you make yourself scarce because if I find out that you put your disgusting hands on her, I'll be the one who makes you meet your fucking end Marcus"
I snarl at Marcus and leave his office for the second time today.
As I'm walking towards my cabin with my beautiful mate snuggled up to me in my arms I feel someone watching me.
Holding Ana tighter to me, I turn and look around but see no one in sight.
Getting to the cabin I hurry in and go to lay Ana down on my bed.
My little mate is strong. I didn't think she could stand up to an Alpha like that. Granted Marcus isn't much of an Alpha but he still has his title so that means something.
No ordinary wolf would stand up to their Alpha with the confidence and intention like she did just a bit ago.
I take her up to my room and gently lay her on my bed as my chest fills with pride for our little mate. My wolf is howling inside for our mate and her show of strength today!
I look at her dirty clothes but think it's best if I don't change her. I don't wanna end up on the other side with my ass beat too.
I'll leave some sweats and a t shirt on the bedside table for her.
The thought of her lithe little body makes me hard. Goddess I need to get a hold of myself.
Once I make sure she's covered, I head to the bathroom attached to my room to take a shower.
With the strain of my pants and my member, I decide to take a cold shower.
Once I'm out the shower I throw some charcoal grey sweats on and head to the kitchen to make her something to eat for when she wakes up.

Ana's POV
I stir awake to the mouth watering scent of bacon.
I take a minute once I sit up to realize I'm not in my own room though. My mates scent is surrounding me and I must admit, don't mind it too much.
That is until I remember what had previously taken place and worry floods my thoughts,
"Fuck!"
I get up and thank the goddess that my clothes are still on. They're dirty though. I look around and find a set of clothes set in the bedside table for me. Sweat pants and a t shirt. Lovely.
After changing I throw my other clothes in the corner and make my way downstairs.
The sweet and seasoned aroma of bacon gets stronger and my mouth starts to water.
I make it down the stairs to see Lucien making fried eggs, bacon and pancakes.
Goddess help me this man can cook too? Is there anything he's bad at?!
I continue to state as he's also shirtless. I clench my thighs as I don't want him to catch scent of my arousal.
"Are you hungry kitten?"
I didn't even realize that he was now standing behind me. His tone husky and low.
His voice makes my legs quiver while giving me a second heart beat. Shivers travel up and down my spine while my nerves are going haywire.
