summary; a mini-series (or not, idk yet) where we get to see interactions between enhypen and treasure — more so between injang's murderer and treasure's dishwasher.
HYBE PRACTICE ROOM – 10 OCTOBER 2021
As she always did, Park Eunbyul ran into the practice room, dramatically making her appearance known as she let out an excited cheer. And awaiting her arrival was Jake, who — as always — had his arms extended, inviting her into a (tackle) hug.
"My comeback friends!" She announced gleefully, and instantly a round of chuckles went around the room, realising where she was headed with the topic. "How are you all doing?"
"Other than the constant texts I get from you to share the comeback song, I have been doing well," Heeseung answered, causing Eunbyul to pout. "How have you been doing?"
"I've been doing terrible after I found out how fake my friends are." Eunbyul shrugged, grumbling under her breath as she playfully pushed away Jake from their hug. "I shared our songs when y'all asked ... but you guys can't do the same?"
While the older members of ENHYPEN kept teasing the youngest of TREASURE, Jungwon wandered off to the side, greeting his fellow '04-liner friend, Jeongwoo. After exchanging a few words, the leader pointed towards the ongoing fight, quite clueless about what was going on.
"What's happening over there?" He inquired, watching as Eunbyul showed her back to the others, standing in the room's corner. "Why are the hyungs teasing Eun?"
Jeongwoo gave a disappointed sigh. "Byul is just throwing a tantrum because none of the hyungs shared your comeback songs." He shook his head. "She's been pestering them for the longest time."
"No one gave her anything? Not even a sample?"
"Nope. That's why she wanted to come today too."
Jungwon nodded to himself, moving away as Niki came to interact. He watched Eunbyul from his place, slightly smiling as he saw her looking disgruntled. Not thinking much, the male took out his phone, immediately going to his storage and selected the recent files before sending it.
He hid his phone quickly as Eunbyul's phone pinged, quickly typing a brief message before he did. The female reached for her phone in her pocket, assuming it was her manager since she had turned off notifications for basically everyone else. Seeing Jungwon's contact name, her eyes widened, looking confusedly at the male before looking back down on her phone.
"You just have to wait two more days!" Sunghoon pointed out, not realising he didn't have Eunbyul's attention. "After that you can listen to our songs ... like the rest of the world." Jay and Heeseung joined in the laughter, enjoying the moments where they could tease the female.
Here are the songs! Don't tell the others, though. Let me know what you think of them. Eunbyul looked at Jungwon, a wide smile on her face as she nodded. "Fine, then. You guys don't want my opinion, right? Don't ask anything from me, even after the 12th." She carried on with her act, knowing if she gave up, it would seem suspicious.
"Aigoo, she's so cute."
"Byul-ah, don't be like that."
"We are just joking."
The older members surrounded the youngest, trying to cheer her up. Jungwon observed as his members tried many tricks, a smile of adoration on his face as he heard Eunbyul giggle at their antics. The comet of realization crashed as Jungwon observed, his smile fading as the sudden thought crossed his mind.
Usually, when you fall in love, it was all about butterflies and fireworks — but as Jungwon stared at Eunbyul, all he could think about was how he now understood his songs.
Maybe a minute before, 'Let Me In', '10 Months', 'Fever', 'Not For Sale' and 'Just A Little Bit' would've just been ENHYPEN songs to him. But thinking about them now, all that occupied his mind was Park Eunbyul.
And for the first time, Yang Jungwon wasn't terrified of such overwhelming feelings.

TREASURE DORMS – 11 OCTOBER 2021
Park Eunbyul silently washed the dishes, smugly smiling at the bickering between the older members as they decided on what movie to watch. TREASURE had a free day the next day, so like always, they opted to watch a movie and stay up till late.
"We watched a horror movie last time! Let's watch a comedy!"
"No! What about an action movie?"
"There's this amazing thriller movie that just came out!"
"Why don't we watch romance for a change?"
Eunbyul wiped her hands after she finished washing the dishes, patiently waiting near her members as she knew she was going to be the one who was going to choose the movie — as always. Whenever the boys couldn't decide, Eunbyul was the decision-maker.
"Byul! Thriller, comedy, romance or action?" Yedam inquired, turning towards the younger. "Which one?"
Just as she was about to answer, her phone pinged and Eunbyul immediately checked it, checking if it was someone important. Did you listen to the songs? I got access to our music video too! A smile came on her face as she read the contact name; Yang Jungwon.
"I will pass movie night today." She observed everyone's faces, checking if they were okay with her skipping the weekly tradition. "I have some work to do." The lie effortlessly left her tongue, but she convinced herself it was easier than explaining everything.
The boys didn't question her, giving head pats and hugs before she went to her room, closing the door behind her before she made herself comfortable on her bed. The songs are great! I've been trying not to sing them out loud because the oppas are sure to ask what song it is. Eunbyul sent the text, placing her phone to the side before she grabbed a book, deciding to study.
And that certainly didn't last long. Ten minutes later, her phone rang, startling her as she didn't expect it. It surprised her even more when she saw it was Jungwon, not expecting the male to be free — especially when he was making his comeback the next day.
"Hello, hello, hello!" Eunbyul greeted, smiling as she heard a laugh from the other line. "What are you doing, Yang Jungwon-ssi?" Formal speech was something common with the two whenever they called, and it just became a habit to start off their calls like so.
"Hi, hi, hi!" Jungwon greeted the younger back with equal enthusiasm — even though the constant practices were draining him. "Hm, I am calling you right now, Park Eunbyul-ssi."
"I know that. What were you doing before?"
"I was practicing a bit. We got choreographies for all the songs, so it's a lot to cover."
Eunbyul frowned a little, worried about her ENHYPEN friends. "Hwaiting! Your stage is going to be a hit, don't worry!" She assured, bringing a smile to the elder's face. "It's alright to relax because you guys are gonna do well. Don't stress it!"
"I'll trust your good judgement and get some rest then." Jungwon hummed, slumping against the mirror as he sat in the practice room. "I wanted to watch the music video earlier. Do you want to watch it with me and give your thoughts?"
And just like that, what the two thought would be a call of few minutes — an hour at the most — ended up being longer than they intended.
The youngest of TREASURE chuckled, shaking her head. "I literally live with twelve boys, oppa. I think I know how chaotic it can get," she stated, pulling away the phone to check the time. 23:19. Her eyes widened, realising she had been on the call with Jungwon for almost three hours. "Wonie-oppa, are you still at the company?"
"Nope." The male shook his head even though the younger couldn't see him. "I came back to the dorms around an hour ago. It's late, isn't it?" He checked the time, not realising how three hours had passed so quickly.
"I'm sorry for keeping you on call for so long!" Eunbyul bit her lip, feeling guilty. "You could've washed up and gotten ready for bed or something."
Jungwon smiled to himself, finding the younger's concern endearing. "Don't be sorry, I was the one who called you." He pointed out. "I kept you up rambling about our songs. I'm sorry about not having anything fun to talk about."
"No!" The female gasped, scoffing as she shook her head. "It's fun talking to you like this. Just random conversations for long hours. It's relieving in a way," she confessed.
"Ah, I'm glad." Jungwon sighed in relief, genuinely thankful to know he wasn't boring Eunbyul for three hours or so. "I guess this is where we end our call, huh?"
"Mhm, get some rest. It's your comeback tomorrow!" She cheered, causing the male to giggle. "Sleep well! Love you!" Eunbyul bit her tongue as soon as the words left her lips, burying her face in her pillow in hopes of the male not hearing her cries for help.
"Was that for me?"
"Sorry, it's a reflex of sorts."
Jungwon paused, realising his question made the atmosphere awkward. "It's alright, I don't mind." He waved it off with a laugh. "Take care and sleep well, Eun-ah! Love you too!" The call ended, and the female laid on her bed, frozen in her place.
And for the first time, those two common words kept Park Eunbyul up at night.
