Third Person POV
Bucky was walking around the streets of New York, trying to clear his head. The Avengers were trying hunt him down, Steve had tried to do everything he could be there was no way he could stop them.
Technically, Bucky was a criminal.
I mean, it wasn't his fault though, Hydra had taken over his mind and turned him into, that monster.
Thank the gods, Bucky was free now. The trigger words had no effect over him anymore and he remembered his life, everything; unfortunately that still included the missions - the kills - which was sucky, but hey! At least he could remember his life, right?
So this brought Bucky to wandering the streets of New York, a jacket covering his metal arm as he thought about what to do next. He obviously couldn't go back to the Tower or the new Avengers Facility as they would lock him up so he got getting a small house or apartment in Queens.
As he was walking by an ally, he heard a small whimpering sound. It sounded as if someone was crying. Who the hell was crying in the middle of the night? Bucky thought as he decided to check it out.
Bucky walked into the alley to see a little girl, carrying to babies.
"Hello, are you alright?" he asked softly, trying not to scare the little girl.
"Wh-who are you?" she asked
"I'm Bucky, what's your name?" he responded
"Penny. Penny Parker." she answered
"Well, Penny, do you need some help? Where's your parents?" Bucky wondered
"My parents are dead. They died when I was a baby, I lived with my aunt and uncle but then..... then they died too," Penny trailed off.
"Oh, I'm so sorry," Bucky said, unsure of how to respond to that.
"It's okay," Penny answered
"Um, do you mind if I ask how you got pregnant?" Bucky asked, treading lightly.
"How do I know I can trust you!?" Penny yelled
"You don't." Bucky said bluntly, he figured he shouldn't sugar-coat the situation. If he was in her position, he would want the blunt truth.
"W-what?" Penny cried
"You don't know you can trust me. But you should know that I don't wanna hurt you. I wanna help you. I know what it's like to feel abandoned and I want to help. So, what happened?" Bucky asked
"My aunt and uncle didn't have much money so when a guy named Skip Wescott offered to babysit me for free, they jumped on the offer. He started out really nice; helping me with homework, helping out around the house and then going back to wherever he was from," Penny explained
"He was about eighteen when we met, I was eleven. About a year later, Auntie May and Uncle Ben went to Jamaica for a vacation and Skip was watching me. One night he put something in my drink and the next morning I woke up in his bed, with no clothes on. I was terrified. Twelve years old and terrified," Penny continued, crying.
Bucky was beginning to hate this Skip guy more and more by the second. He felt as if he could go all Winter Soldier on him right now.
"The next morning I found out that Aunt May and Uncle Ben were killed in a plane crash and I was going into the foster system. Skip offered for me to stay with him but I refused, afraid, and I was put into a foster home. About a month later I didn't get my period so I thought the worst. I cried myself to sleep that night and the next morning I bought four different pregnancy tests,"
"I did them, all of them and they all came back positive. I told my foster mom what happened and she said she didn't believe me. She said she would let me stay until the baby came and then she would kick me up. Nine months later, I gave birth to twins and was kicked out two weeks later." Penny finished
"I'm so, so, sorry Penny. I'm sorry this happened to you," Bucky started
"Thanks Mr.White Wolf Bucky sir," Penny replied
"Wh-what? You know?" Bucky stuttered
"Yeah, your glove came up a little bit so I saw your metal hand," Penny explained
"And you're not afraid?" Bucky nervously asked
"Nope, not at all," Penny replied, finally starting to stop crying.
"Well, Penny, if you're not afraid of me, you can stay at my place. The Avengers don't really like me right now, but you can stay with me as long as you like," Bucky offered
"I would love that," Penny said, gratefully.
Bucky helped Penny and her two babies up as he grabbed her backpack and duffle-bag. The two of them walked to Bucky's apartment in comfortable silence. Once they got there, Bucky showed Penny to her room and he helped her settle in.
A couple weeks later, they took a DNA test for the twins - and Penny -, just in case for health reasons, and found out that Penny was Bucky's great-granddaughter. They were overjoyed by the fact and Bucky even offered to adopt her.
Penny obviously said yes and they were a happy family.
Years past and the Avengers never found out. Penny named her little boy Thomas Benjamin Parker-Barnes and her little girl was Tina May Parker-Barnes.
Little Thomas had bright brown eyes and curly dark brown hair, a little boy Penny but had a touch of Skip's tan skin. But mainly looked like Penny. Little Tina had the same bright brown eyes but had curly light brown-blonde hair (something that came from Skip) and Penny's light skin. Overall, they looked a lot like Penny and you could barely see Skip's resemblance.
After years of therapy for the both of them, things were going great and they were happy. They had a nice little family, Bucky was a 'dad' and a 'grandfather' because he claimed that he didn't want to be a 'great-grandfather' and a 'great-great-grandfather'.
Penny had gone onto a field trip to Oscorp when she was fifteen and had gotten bit by a spider. She became Spider-Woman and helped people, Bucky was super proud.
Then one day, about five years from the day they met, Bucky was supposed to be picking up the two little kindergarteners from school but was M.I.A.. Penny rushed from her own school to pick them up when she assumed that the Avengers had finally found her 'father'.
She rushed to Stark Tower where she was met with the receptionist. "Remember, tell the nice lady that you think you're Tony Stark's kids," Penny whispered to her two five year olds.
"What's your appointment, Miss?"
"I don't have an appointment actually. I came here because of these two ankle-biters," Penny lied smoothly
"We're Tony Stark's kids!" The twins said in unison.
"Uh, er, I, you, I, you can go!" the receptionist squeaked out
"Thank you." the seventeen year old said walking to the elevator.
"Nice job double T!" Penny whispered said to her kids.
Penny, Tom and Tina went upstairs to the penthouse where she saw her dad sitting at a table with the Avengers. No one even noticed them yet but then Tom and Tina ran to Bucky, Penny tried to stop them but, the two kids were fast and clung to their grandfather's legs.
"Woah, what the-" Bucky exclaimed before he looked down.
"Bucky what the hell is going on?!?" Steve shouted, making Penny wince.
"What are you two monkeys doing here?" Bucky asked, picking them both up with his metal arm.
"Mom brought us!" Tom replied, smiling.
"Yeah!" Tina added
"What...? Mom? Bucky what's going?" Steve yelled.
"Oh crap, she mad?" Bucky said, ignoring Steve.
"Why don't you ask her?" Penny cut in, glaring at her dad. The tone of Penny's voice but Bucky shiver.
"Oh sh*t." Bucky swore, forgetting his grandkids were there. Bucky put both kids on the ground and stood up, walking towards his daughter.
"Oh sh*t is right!" Penny exclaimed
"I'm so sor-" Bucky started before he was cut off with a slap from Penny. The area stung a bit but Bucky knew that was the weakest slap she ever had done.
"No note! No text! No call! Nothing! Your sorry as* could've been dead in a gutter somewhere and I wouldn't have known! Not to mention you were supposed to pick them up today! The bloody school called me saying that no one was there and that double T were waiting there!" Penny rambled.
"I had to cut decathlon short so I could go! Not to mention ECNA almost got out today!" Penny said, stressed. ECNA was their way of saying SpiderWoman activities.
"Now why the hell didn't you text me?! I EVEN TRIED OUR WATCH FOR EMERGENCIES!" Penny yelled, pushing Bucky away.
"Pens.... I'm really sorry. They caught me and took away my phone and even the watch we made. I'm really sorry, Penny." Bucky said, hugging Penny.
"It's okay. You just scared me. I thought you were dead and I know I'm overreacting but I was f***ing scared, Dad." Penny whispered
"I know, I know. It's okay though Penny we're all okay." Bucky said, petting Penny's long curly brown hair.
Penny hummed as she hugged her Dad, as her two kids still clung to their grandfather.
"Okay, what the hell is happening her?!" Tony screamed.
"This is my daughter, Penny Nikki Parker-Barnes and my two grandchildren Thomas Benjamin Parker-Barnes and Tina May Parker-Barnes."
