"Hey Dani, can you do me a favour?"
Penny sat down across from Dani at the Gryffindor table. "I offered to help Professor Snape tutor first-years, but then McGonagall told me she wanted me to check on Talbott for her because, you know, he hasn't been showing up to class a lot if you've noticed. And you're one of the few people at school who, you know..."
"Well, nobody's been cursed yet, so I'm happy to help. What else did McGonagall tell you?"
"Apparently Talbott asked her if she'd seen a necklace with a white feather. McGonagall says that he seemed pretty upset about it, so it might have sentimental value."
"Feather? Sounds like R... Never mind. I'll go ask him about it."

Talbott jammed the pot he was holding into one of the stands and took off his earmuffs. "Um... Hi, I guess?"
"Penny sent me. We thought you needed help looking for your necklace."
"Oh... OK. I'm helping Sprout prepare the baby mandrakes for repotting. Do you want to help?"
