THIRD PERSON POV
After ending the call with Gracy, Maya and the rest reached the villa within 5 minutes all jittery about the entire Gracy going in labor so sudden. They have everything discussed and planned of what they have to do once they'll get to the villa so that they dont waste any kind of time there.
As soon as Maya stops the car right in front of the villa's entrance, the trio jumps out and all run inside as Maya says;
" Okay you two dont wast.. "
Maya starts saying but hears a voice shouting;
" ROMANNNNNN I'M GONNA KILL YOU..!!
WHERE ARE THE HELL ARE YOU..!!!
" Gracy..!!!
Is that Gracy's voice..?? "
Nicholas is taken aback hearing that voice.
Equally stunned Wesley adds;
" Isn't she supposed to be at the hospital with Roman at this moment.? "
The trio is still trying to figure out what's happening when they spot Gracy standing on the first floor near the stairs as she holds her bump clearly being pain.
Soon Gracy also sees Maya, Nicholas and Wesley looking at her in an equally shocked way. Before anyone of them can understand what's actually happening and say anything, Gracy hisses with pain and is the first one to react;
" O dear lord..
Where the hell is Roman.? "
" I saw his car heading towards the hospital while we were getting here.
But why are you still here.? "
Maya informs Gracy that they all thought that the couple is headed to the hospital following the fact that Gracy's water broke.
" I am here because Roman and Bunny told me first they'll get the necessary things in the car then they'll come and get me..!!
When my water broke I was in Bunny's room so they left me there only. But no one came
All this time I've been waiting and shouting for them but none of them replied..!! "
Gracy is shook hearing what Maya just said.
" But wait why is the villa empty..??
Why is the staff not here..??
I mean they were all here when I left. "
Maya is confused as she sees no one in the villa.
" Because my stupid husband told them to go for the villa as he wanted some quality family time..!!
No that I think.. I hate this idea of his..!!! "
Gracy informs them but suddenly something clicks in Gracy's mind and she says as Nicholas, and Wesley help her get down the stairs;
" Wait..
What did you say..??
You saw his car going towards the hospital..!!! "
" Yaa.. We did..!!!
I'm very sure it was his car because I saw its number plate..!! "
Nicholas lets out without any seconds thoughts.
However within a second everyone there realizes what does that mean.
" Did your brother really forget me here and go to the hospital Nick.?
Maya Please tell me that Roman did not just do that.! "
Despite everything pointing towards it, Gracy still wants her doubt to be false.
" Ermmmmm. You know what Gracy..
We should get you to the hospital..!! "
Maya says trying to let go of the topic as Gracy is now standing off the stairs.
Seeing and understanding the current happenings, Maya now for sure knows that Roman has indeed messed up things for himself going to the hospital but forgetting his pregnant wife behind. Hence trying to play it safe for everyone, Maya hopes her techinique works.
And it does work..
In the completely opposite way.
Now aware of what has actually transpired, Gracy is completely pissed at Roman.
As Nicholas and Wesley help her walk out of the villa, Gracy cant help but express how annoyed she is with Roman;
" Maya..
Do me a favor and grab a pan for me as we leave the house..!!
Aaj saar phor dungi main aapne pati ka..!!
( I'm gonna break my husband's head..!!) "
" We'll buy you one on the way..!!!
But for now it's even more important to get you to the hospital..!! "

IN ROMAN'S CAR
THIRD PERSON POV
After I left the hospital, I went to get Gracy's favorite pasteries which I promised her that I would get her and I headed straight home. I was able to walk in a better way, yes my leg is still paining a little but it's okay. Hearing what Gracy said today on the phone, I felt very much touched and blessed to know no matter how tough and impatience my crazy wife is, she does care for me and loves me very much. And that's all what matters to me right now.
The very moment I stepped in the villa, I decided that I wanted to have some alone time with my wife before Nick and Maya gets home from the hospital hence I gave the entire staff the remaining evening and night off so that no one disturbs us.
Gracy was in our room when I went upstairs to see her. She was very much relieved when she saw me and even more excited when I gave Gracy her pasteries. We spent some time together and then as I went to use the washroom, Gracy decided to check on Bunny. I was still in the washroom when I heard Gracy scream my name loud.
Next all I remember is running to Bunny's room in a state of panic.
After rushing in there I found out that while scrolling through her phone, Gracy learnt about Nick and my accident that happened today. Needless to say that Gracy got very much worked up and started scolding me for hiding such a big incident from her.
I was very much getting rebuked when water started following down Gracy's legs. While Bunny and I thought that Gracy accidentally peed unable to hold herself before getting to the washroom, Gracy then informed us that she had not actually peed herself there but in fact her water bag broke and that the baby is gone to be here before the expected time. Along with this Gracy starts telling me how contractions are starting to hit her and complaining that her maternity bag, clothes nothing is ready either.
Hearing her say all that I could feel anxiety and nervousness starting to overpower my senses but knowing that very soon I'll be actually father just like Nick is, I try my best to not freak out. As I asked her sit in Bunny's room for few minutes as she calls Maya to inform her of the situation while Bunny and I together we rushed to my room and take very necessary items, threw it in a nearby bag and taking the important required papers and other documents we all rushed to my car being followed everywhere by Cookie who just refuses to leave following us.
And then the very moment we hit the road heading to the hospital.
So that Gracy can be comfortable on the backseat, I tell Bunny to sit next to me in the front of the car as he holds Cookie on his lap and I also put the relaxing music that we got so that Gracy can try to calm down and ignore the pain for a while till we get to the hospital.
The ride to the hospital is pretty much a smooth one as Gracy doesnt say anything at all which I think is because she's trying to get herself together and mentally prepare her for what's coming up.
Currently we are very near the hospital and I tell Gracy;
" Just a few more minutes Darling..!
We're almost at the hospital..!! "
" Yess Gracy..
Bunny can also see hospital too..!! "
I hear Bunny's voice as he pets Cookie being extremely excited to meet the little baby.
As I drive in the hospital premises, I hear my phone ringing and as I instruct him, Bunny answers it and puts it on the speaker telling me that it's Nick;
" We've reached the hospital Nick..
Now just hurry up you guys..!!
And dont worry about anything..
I took everything with me..!! "
I say without even giving Nick time to say anything.
At this point I feel very much proud and satisfied at myself for not freaking out like most husbands would.
Not only did I manage to get my wife's maternity's bag, clothes, other necessary items and documents ready as well.
I even managed to grab my wife's cookie jar and other snack and drinks as well just in case she wants to have a bit on the way or even in the hospital.
Undoubtedly this year I'm giving Nick a tough competition in regards of being Best Husband and Best Father.
Right now I feel extremely pleased and proud on myself for not losing my cool..
" And your wife..!!
Did you take your wife with you.? "
Nick says in very taunting way.

I think to myself as I pull at the hospital's entrance and stop the car.
" What nonsense..

I start saying as I turn back to check on Gracy but get the shock of my life as I see the entire backseat empty.
At this scene in front of me, I find myself tongue-tied as I feel my heart starting to beat faster than ever.
" Rommy..
Where is Gracy..??
Did she disappear..?? "
Bunny who's also confused as to why Gracy's not in the back says.
Yaa..
At this point my dear brother's earlier words start making sense to me.
And I manage to say;
" Hmmmm..
Nick.. I think I.... "
" You think..!!!!
You seriously do think Roman..!!
Just wait till I get my hands on you "
I hear my very clearly vexed wife's voice and she hangs the call right on me.
" But why is Gracy with Daddy..??
Did she not come with us..?? "
Bunny is confused.
I cant help to accept my mistake to the puzzled child;
" She didnt come with us because we forgot her home Bunny..!!
And Gracy is going to be very much angry now..!! "
" Oopss..

VALENTINO HOSPITAL

As Nicholas and Wesley helped the screaming in great pain pregnant Gracy get out of the car the very next second that Maya stops the car at the hospital's entrance. Knowing that he's already messed up pretty much, Roman just sprints with a wheelchair at the entrance as an overenthusiastic Brian runs along him holding Cookie in his hands.
The moment Gracy spots her frantic husband approaching her, she shouts at him in a completely stupefied way;
" You stupid man..
Dimaag kharab hai kya tera.?
Tum mujhe ghar par kaise bhul gaye.?
(Have you lost your mind.?
How could you forgot me home.? )
After all the counselling sessions, planning and talking about what to do and not to do when I go in labor, this is what you do.!
This is how you chose to screw things up.?
Just let this child get out of me and I'm gonna kick you.!
I still cant understand how the bloody hell does a man manage to forget his wife who's in active labor home and drives himself heads to the bloody hospital with everything else but that pregnant woman. "
Gracy shouts at Roman for his behavior as she sits on the wheelchair and as she grabs her husband's collar who tries to comfort her.
" I'm sorry..
I'm so sorry Darling..
I really thought you came and sat in the car by yourself when Bunny and I were getting the other stuff from the villa.! "
Roman tries to defend the goof up he caused as he wheels in wife inside ignoring that he's currently being yelled at.
" Yess..
Rommy and Bunny who sit in front of car even talked to you when we are coming here thinking you sitting behind us as we hurry here..!! Bunny even play that boring music for you. "
Brian also tries to help Roman out as Roman had asked him to knowing that he'll in big trouble once everyone will be at the hospital.
The innocent child who adored Roman agreed instantly upon knowing that finally the baby is coming out of Gracy's tummy and wanted everyone to be happy and not angry at each other.
" Really guys..
I'm in freaking active labor..
The contractions are hitting me one after the other and you guys thought that I would be able to get myself down the stairs and get in the car all by myself without any kind of additional support.!
Wow.
Just Wow.. "
Gracy taunts them back still very much under pressure about being in labor as she's being taken to the elevator to head to the delivery room that has already been prepared for her.
Since Roman reached the hospital before without his wife, he made sure that everything is ready for his wife once she'll be brought in and that no time is wasted while preparing for the same. That may hopefully help him to make Gracy temporarily his mistake.
Not far away from the elevator, Gracy catches the sight of handcuffed Nilda being escorted by police officers, reminding her of Wesley's previous words about the accident that Nicholas and Roman were in earlier the same day now has Gracy so bitter and wrathful that she temporarily forgets that she's in active labor and shouts at Roman who's wheeling her towards the lift in a hurry;
" STOP ROMAN..!! "
Hearing Gracy shout at him at this situation isn't really surprising to Roman as he did understand the dilemma and pain that his wife is in but this time hearing the ferocious and vicious way Gracy ordered him to stop has everyone here frozen even the medical team who were trying along side while checking on Gracy at their spots not moving at all.
Before anyone can ask her what happened, Gracy herself got up from the wheel chair and marches towards Nilda fiercely.
Nilda who's got arrested and handcuffed the very moment she woke up after being punched by Maya, she was informed that the Valentinos have filed a case against her for attempt to murder, traffic violations, stalking and harassment. At this moment Nilda felt extremely humiliated as she got arrested in front of so many people and realized the blunder she made out of anger when she tried to run over Roman.
Hence in an attempt to save herself from any more embarrassment as well as knowing that all the evidences are against her, Nilda just went along with the flow and decided to leave the hospital with doing any more drama and planned to inform her father about the recent occurrences in hopes that Marcos will help her out.
" Heyy Nilda..!! "
Gracy takes her name with disgust in her tone as she stands in front of Nilda whose eyes are on her handcuffed hands.
Hearing her name being taken, instinctively looks up and sees Gracy standing in front of her. Before Nilda has the chance to process anything, Gracy just slaps her hard with all force as she says;
" That's for trying to hurt the love of my life..!!
Are you really this stupid to think that you'll try to kill Roman and get away just like that.? "
With her cold eyes fixed on Nilda who's taken aback with her action, Gracy says;
" Officer please take this woman away before I actually kill her myself.! "
And the very next second Nilda is taken away by the officers before anymore drama takes place.
As Gracy turns back to her shocked family, she starts feeling the contractions hitting her again making her complain;
" If you people are done staring at me, then let's get to the delivery room to get this child out of me..!!
He seems to be in a bit of hurry now.!!
Boys I tell you.!
Oh my god....
It's hurting way much more now.. "
Recovering from Gracy's outburst on Nilda and hearing her talk in a calm and composed way about her delivery, all nodded and rushed her in the delivery room. As the nurses and Maya helped her change into a hospital gown and get ready to give birth to her baby, the boys also geared up with masks, gloves and other protective stuff. Since Brian is still small, he isn't allowed in the delivery room hence Wesley stays with him and Cookie to take care of them while Nicholas go inside with Roman who's very much apprehensive at the moment.
As Roman and Nicholas enters the room, they see Gracy holding Maya's hand tightly as a doctor examines her and then says;
" Well everything seems pretty good.
We cant give anything right now.
The baby seems to be ready to come out.!
Okay Ms Valentino, with the next contraction I need you to push the baby. "
" I get that doctor but...
Where's my husband..?
Maya get Roman here now before I myself kill him..!!
I'm not getting this child out until that idiot is here..!!
We were supposed to do this together..!! "
Listening what Gracy just, Roman promptly replies as he rushes near Gracy and Nicholas also rushes to the other side where Maya's already standing;
" I'm here..

Roman says remembering the lessons from prenatal classes he went with Gracy and talks with confidence in a very soothing and assuring way as he looks right in his wife's teary green eyes. Now feeling even more confident by having her husband by her side, Gracy is a little more relaxed as she tries the breathing method while holding his hand.
But a couple of minutes after that all that patience as a contraction hits Gracy harder and she tries to push as instructed by her doctor, Gracy flips back and shouts at Roman who's still saying Breath In Breath Out to Gracy as she glares at Roman;
" Seriously Roman....
Seriously..!!
You really think I don't know how to breath Roman..??
Do you really think I am this dumb that I don't know how to breath now.? "
Witnessing such a scene in the delivery room is not a first time for the staff hence they continue on focusing on their respective tasks. Maya and Nicholas at this instant share a concerned look as they imagine themselves being in a similar situation. Indeed they are Brian's parents but they never really experienced the birthing process themselves and being here at this moment with Roman and Gracy and seeing all what's happening has them a little worked up.
" I know we haven't really planned anything like that but I'm really sorry
I never ever thought child birth can be this difficult.!
I mean later on we can always use condoms whenever we get to make love.. "
Nicholas confesses to Maya in low voice after having seen how much this stage of having a child is difficult.
To which Maya said;
" I dont know what to do anymore..
God help me..!! "
" I still love you though..!! "
" I know..!!

Gracy's disturbed voice interrupts their thoughts;
" All of this is happening because of you..!!

Seeing that Gracy's all about to go ballistic on Roman, Maya jumps to his rescue and says;

Let's focus on getting the baby out..!!
Remember you have to push with the next contraction..!! "
" Yaa...

Gracy says but ends but letting out a shout as she feels another contraction and tries her best to push as guided by the doctor.
Along with Gracy, Roman and Maya also let out a shout as their hands which are in Gracy's grip clenches extreme hard as the woman pushes.
" That's great...
You're doing very good Ms Valentino, I can see the baby crowning as well..!!
Okay... I need you to push as hard as you can one more time with the next contraction. "
The doctor says trying to encourage and comfort Gracy.
Hearing that the baby is crowning suddenly has Roman very much excited and impatient to see the little one hence as he tries to peek down on Gracy to see the baby, Roman exclaims;
" Really..??
You can see the baby..??
Where is he..??
Even I wanna sssssss... "
The overexcited father starts saying while trying to peek down his wife for this milestone moment but the very instant that Roman sees the actually scene of the baby crowning with the fluids coming out of his wife turns out to be a little bit too mind-boggling for Roman.
Roman just drops down on the floor as he feels his head spinning at that sight.
No longer feeling Roman's hand in hers, Gracy says not finding her husband on her side anymore;
" Roman..
Where are you.? "
" I think he fell down..!! "
Maya who witnessed the entire scene of Roman getting shocked and falling down answers Gracy's question.
To which Gracy gets more concerned and requests Maya;
" What..?? He fell.?
How..?? Oh my god..
Roman are you okay..??
Maya please check on him..!! "
Maya rushes to Roman as a nurse is already checking on him and the nurse finally speaks after examining the latter;
" He's okay..
Your husband just fainted.
Its very normal for husbands to faint in such situations..!!
Not as strong hearted as their wives during childbirth.
He'll be good in a few minutes..!!
Dont get yourself worked out on that mam and concentrate on your baby..!! "
Hearing the nurse's words now had Gracy's concern for Roman turn into disappointment as Roman had promised her that they would be strong and go through this specific phase together.
" Just what was missing.

First he got me in this situation, then forgot me at home and now he fainted..!! "
Gracy is taken aback by Roman.
Being in great pain and need to be comforted and supported, nobody expected that Roman would faint seeing his baby crowning but yet he did. The overexcited and overworked father would control his emotions anymore when he peeked and collapsed on the floor in a semiconscious way.
As Maya is on the other side of Gracy to help Roman as a nurse checks on him, Nicholas is the one who holds Gracy's hand and says in a failing attempt to calm her;
" He's nervous Gracy..
This is a very unusual situation for us..
It's our first time witnessing live child birth..!! "
" And it's the 100th time that I'm giving birth to your brother's son..!!
Really Nick..!?
Why are you two brothers so freaking stupid.!? "
Gracy snaps back annoyed at Nicholas for his attempt to defend Roman.
Hearing all the shouts and arguments coming from the room, Wesley who's outside the room gets even more worked up. Looking at Brian whom he coaxed by diverting the child's mind into playing games in his phone, but Wesley now wants to go in and know what's happening in there. Mike who was informed about the sudden situation also arrived at the hospital as soon as he could.
With Mike now on the premises, Wesley says;
" Mike, stay here with Bunny..
I'll check what's going on in there.!! "
" Yaa..
Just let me know if everything's fine or not..!! "
Mike says as he's not really prepared to go in there and see with his own eyes what's happening in there after hearing Gracy's struggling shouts.
And the very next moment, Wesley opens the door and walks in the room only to witness the chaos going on in there. He spots Gracy grumbling at Nicholas in an unhappy way, Roman on the floor as Maya and a nurse checking on him and the rest on the medical team trying to checking on Gracy and the baby.
Before Wesley can say anything, Gracy's irked voice is heard;
" Nick dont make me kick you out of this room..!! "
" You're literally giving birth Gracy..!! "
Nicholas also replies in a loud shock manner.
To which Gracy retorts;
" And you really think that it's gonna stop me from kicking you out Nick..? "
As Gracy scolds Nicholas, she sees Wesley standing near the door and says in pain of having her cervix fully stretched;
" Wes..
Get these two idiots out of here NOW.!!
One's managed to faint while I'm giving birth to his child.
And the other one has officially lost his god damned mind. "
Seeing Gracy getting worked up and ignoring everything else that they doctor's saying makes Wesley rush to Gracy's side and taking his role of big brother;
" Okay calm down Gracy..
Ignore him..
And listen to the doctor..!! "
" Yess Ms Valentino..
Just one last push and we're done..!!
You've been doing great so far..
Now just one big push..

Grabbing Nicholas and Wesley's hands, Gracy takes a deep breath as she feels her heartbeats getting faster with each moment, sweat running all over her face and body, still very determined to have his child gathering all of her remaining strength as her trembling sweaty palms, one which is being held by Nicholas and her other hand grabs Wesley's middle and index fingers as she pushes for one more time screaming loud as she feels her entire vagina being completely torn as the baby is finally out of her.
With tears of joy and success pouring out her red puffed eyes, Gracy hears the doctor say as her hands staring feeling extremely weak and let go of the two men's hand and fingers;
" That's it..
We've got the baby..!! "
Nicholas and Wesley both who had their hands in Gracy's shouted along with Gracy as she clenched very hard during the last push.
" O my hand..!!! "
Nicholas says looking at the red mark that Gracy unintentionally left there.
Meanwhile having his two fingers being in Gracy's grip has an adverse result for Wesley as he also shouts holding his poor fingers;
" My fingers.. My poor fingers...
I think she broke my fingers..!! "
Roman who has been taken care of is by now feeling much better. And then he hears the doctor say that they baby is finally here making him look at Maya who's been helping and say feeling like a happy husband and father;
" She made me a father
The little one's here..!!
Bunny's brother is finally here..!! "
As Roman realizes all what he says, he cant help but let small tears run down his cheeks. Feeling extremely happy and proud, all that Roman wants right now is to hug his wife and thank her for having him feel so fortunate and privileged.
Roman rushes to his wife, Nicholas also goes near his own after the doctors take the baby away as the doctors inform them that since the baby is premature and his breathing is extremely shallow hence needs to be taken care of.
" My poor hand
Your sister broke my stitches..
I'll have to get them done again..!!!
And on top of that she called me an idiot..!! "
Nicholas complains to Maya.
" She just gave birth Nicholas..!!
And you supported her..!!
That's all what matters right now..!!

Maya tries to comfort her husband.
" Yaa...
But I do realize how overwhelming and stressing being pregnant and giving birth can be for you women..!!

Nicholas admits as he recalls Gracy's entire pregnancy and delivery journey in his mind.
And after a small pause, Nicholas speaks again without actually realizing what he's saying;
" I promise you that when we are in this situation, I'll try my best to be if not more than as supporting and understanding as Roman has been in these past few months.. "
" You mean you are gonna forget me home while I'm in labor and then faint while I birth our child.? "
" No.....
I mean that I'm gonna be there each and every time that you'll need me..
In fact, even when you wont need me, I'll be there for you and our kids..!!
Before, during and after their birth. "
Hearing that Maya blushes but still cant help but tease Nicholas about the same;
" Weren't you the one who said that we would be using condoms.? "
Listening to Maya's words, Nicholas is somehow taken aback but still manages to say after a moment of reflection;
" Condoms are not always 100% efficient..!! "
Hugging Gracy, Roman kept expressing his overwhelmed feelings while Nicholas complained to Maya about his injured hand along with Wesley who's fingers are being examined by a nurse.
Soon enough Roman notices that something's off with his wife as normally Gracy would reply him back when he talks but today she isn't.
Breaking the hug Roman sees Gracy's sweaty face as her teary red eyes start rolling slowly as she has difficulties breathing looking extremely weak and vulnerable at this point. Noticing this irregularity in Gracy, Roman is about point it out and at the very specific moment the machines attached to Gracy start beeping hysterically alarming everyone in the room.
One of the nurses in there rush to Gracy to check on her as another one rushes out of the room to call the door who took the baby along. Seeing Gracy in such a state has everyone of the family frightened as they thought that things are getting better. The doctor runs in the room and starts checking on Gracy as Roman is just on her side.
" She's having a cardiac arrest..!! Mr Valentino move.... "
As Gracy's eyes close with the line on the monitor goes completely flat, the doctor gets rid of the extra sheets on her and starts doing CPR on her in an attempt to bring her back and keeps doing it for some very long minutes.
Maya is completely paralyzed at the site as she falls on the floor the very moment that the doctor announced that Gracy was having a cardiac arrest as fear and panic overpowers all her senses as Nicholas who also never expected something like this to ever happen just falls down along with Maya as he supports his wife but his eyes remains fixed on the doctor and Gracy feeling that intense pressure of the moment.
" My god.. Please not this... Please not now..
This was not supposed to happen..!! "
Maya exclaims as she hits the floor.
On the other hand Wesley who was having his fingers being treated and taken care of now no longer tended about his broken fingers as he jumped forward to see what's going on with Gracy as Roman is pushed back towards him by the doctor and nurses so that they can move more freely while attend Gracy's current condition.
All four of the adults have their hearts in their mouths as the doctor and nurses all keep shouting and communicating as they try their best to bring Gracy back.
For 10 extremely long hard and stressing minutes the doctor just keeps performing CPR on Garcy with hopes of reliving her but nothing happens as Gracy just lays on the bed lifeless as her heart just stops beating scaring very one in the room.
" I am sorry Mr Valentino. "
The doctor manages to gather the courage to bring herself to say these extremely hard words to this family which not very long ago were extremely hyped up about the baby but now all of a sudden everything changed after the unexpected cardiac arrest.
" Sorry..??
What the fucking hell do you mean by you're sorry..!!
Dont you dare say something like that..!!
Dont you dare try to act as if my Gracy is not going to be fine.!
She's Gracy.. My crazy wife..!!
She's fine..
Check her again..!!! "
Roman starts to lose his cool as he hears the absurd words coming out from her mouth.
But knowing that she's tries her level best to save her patient, the doctor helplessly talks again with an extremely heavy heart;
" We tried our best sir..!!
But we couldnt save. "
" SHUT UP..!!!
Just shut up..
Instead of wasting your time talking to me, just check my wife..!!
Gracy's a fighter..
She cant give up like that..
Just try again
Let it be..
I'll only do it..!! "
Roman stops the doctor as he bursts on her for trying to tell him that she could help them anymore as Gracy's heart is no longer responding.
Unwillingly to accept that Gracy can ever leave him at such an important stage of their lives, Roman just rushes near Gracy, gets on the bed and starts doing CPR on Gracy himself as he says to him;
" C'mon Gracy..
Wake up..!!
You cant do this to me..!!
You cant leave me alone Darling..!!
You need to get up now..
Our baby needs you..
I need you..
Dont you remember how much I fucked up today..!!
You're supposed to kick my ass for that..!!
For not telling you about my accident.
For forgetting you at home after your water broke..
For passing out during the delivery..!!
Bloody hell.. Get up Gracy..!!!
Get up and shout on me..!!
Please.. I beg you just get the hell up..!!
Wake up..
WAKE UP GRACY..!! "
Roman keeps shouting loudly at the woman lying below him as he tries his best to get his wife react to him as tears flow out his panicked red eyes.
But still the line on the monitor is completely flat indicating that Gracy's heart isn't beating.
Realizing what this means as Wesley tries to pull him back, Roman can no longer brace himself and he lets out a loud shout as he hugs Gracy and cries his heart out.
Seeing Roman like that Maya comprehends what's happening and that her prayers of Gracy coming back to them may not come true. At this moment Maya loses control over herself and faints there in Nicholas's arms unable to handle the extreme stress of the situation.
Soon enough, Brian enters the room in an annoyed way. After the doctors took the baby out of the room so that the newborn can be given the medical attention that he desperately needs at the moment, Brian who was also outside with Mike saw the doctor and nurses. Being the impatient kid and protective brother that he is, Brian started demanding to see the baby hence Mike and Brian followed the doctors carrying the baby. Despite Brian's expressing his wish to see the baby, he wasnt allowed in the children ICU section where the baby was taken. Hence annoyed at everyone and everything, the little one returned back to Gracy's room to complain about the same to Gracy so that she would scold the hospital people for not letting him see his little baby.
" Gracy.. They very bad..
They are not letting me see my little baby..!!
Tell them to let me see my baby brother..
Bunny waited so long.. "
Brian says with a sad face in an almost about to cry voice.
As annoyed Brian gets in the room with Mike, he doesnt really notice the tension of his elders in that room and the child just runs to Gracy. Seeing Roman in tears on top on Gracy as he holds her close, Brian is confused and says;
" Rommy..
Why are you sitting on Gracy..?
You will hurt her tummy..!! "
All of a sudden Brian is concerned about Gracy, after all he spent months with Gracy telling him to be gentle while touching her tummy because of the baby being in there and she also told him that maybe even after the baby comes out, her stomach may be sensitive. Mike on the other hand is able to sense the tension prevailing in the room and as his eyes fall on Roman who's still on Gracy crying his heart out, Mike feels threatened as he gets a faint idea of what's happening in this room.
" Bunny
Gracy isn't waking up..!!
Please tell her to wake up..
Please..!!
Tell her to not go away..
Tell her to not leave us.. "
Roman who feels extremely defeated at the moment says.
Hearing Roman's words, Mike's fears turn into reality as he gets cold feet and is unable to move or even react in any way.
This moment Brian notices that Gracy is lying on the bed with her eyes closed not replying him or Roman.
Moreover hearing Roman's words, Brian's thoughts are in perplexed stage as the child thinks to himself.
' Go away.?
Leave us.?
Where is Gracy going.?
Gracy is here only.
Sleeping on the bed.
Then why Rommy saying that Gracy is going away.?
No Gracy just sleeping.
I just need to wake her up.! '
Thinking to himself that Gracy is tired and sleeping, Brian softly places his hand on Gracy's cheek and says in a very calm yet demanding way;
" Gracy..
Wake up..
They are taking our little baby away.
You promised me that we will take care of our baby together.
That no one will ever take you two away from me..!!
So wake up and tell them to let us see our baby..!! "
Brian says and waits for Gracy to wake up and answer him but nothing of the sort happens.
Thinking that Gracy is still annoyed at him and Roman for forgetting her, Brian speaks again in an attempt to get Gracy up and talk to her as he uses one of his small fingers to open Gracy's eye;
" Gracy please wake up..
Bunny is sorry for forgetting you home..
Please get up now..
Bunny is really sorry..!!
Bunny will even let you kiss him on the cheeks whenever you want and not wipe it away..
Bunny Promise..
Now please wake up..!! "
Brian says getting all emotional and teary thinking that Gracy is very much angry at him and is not willing to talk to him.
As Brian says that he kisses Gracy softly on the cheek.
" Gracy please wake up
Bunny loves you..!!
You're my Honeybunch Sugarplum
Pumpy-umpy-umpkin
You're my lovely pie. "
Brian even starts singing Gracy and his favorite song in hope that Gracy will wake up and complete the song as she normally does.
Just as Brian starts singing the nurse who's standing near the heart rate monitor feeling sad about the entire scene notices the small change in the flat line on the monitor. Soon enough the line on the monitor starts going up and down again and the pleasant shocked nurse exclaims striking everyone's attention;
" There's a heart beat..!! "
As soon as the doctor who's also still here in the room, hears that she urges Roman and Brian to make place for her check on Gracy with support of her team, with hope that the life and death battle that the unconscious woman is fighting isnt completely lost.
Seeing the slow and faint heartbeats on the monitor screen, all the three guys felt a great sense of relief as their hope of getting Gracy back has been reignited by Brian's efforts to wake Gracy up. Roman at this moment felt so overwhelmed that he hugged Brian as tight as he could while he watched the doctor attend his wife struggling through life and death at this very moment and said;
" I love you Bunny..!! "
But not really understanding the real meaning behind what Roman just said, Brian says;
" Why is Gracy not waking up..?? "
" She will hopefully wake up soon now..!!
You brought her back to us.!
You did what we could not do..!! "
Wesley reassures the little boy.
" Okay.. So does that mean that we can see the little baby after Gracy wakes up.? "
" Yess..
You, me and Gracy, we will all go together to see the baby when she wakes up.! "
Roman is the one who replies Brian after a small pause as he notices the faint smile on the doctor's lips as she turns towards him indirectly indicating him that his wife is going to be okay.
" Her heart is beating again.. But we still need to run some tests on Mrs Valentino..
To make sure that she's gonna be fine and that there are no other issues..!! "
The doctor says with a warm comforting smile and they arrange to take Gracy for the same.
While Gracy is taken for the tests, Maya who also fell unconscious is taken care of as well as the rest of the guys are also checked as demanded by Mike following the intense pressure that they been through. At this point everyone is relieved at the fact that the baby's birthday and the day that the baby lost his mother isnt the same.
