Your POV
I woke up to the feeling of my hair being stroked...and I shot up with a terrified look thinking I was back to being locked up with Jun.
My breathing calmed down as I met Giyu's blue eyes, a look of surprise, confusion, and worry mixed on his face.
"Are you okay...?" He asked tilting his head. I ran a hand through my hair and took a deep breath in.
"Yeah, sorry...guess I'm just jumpy." I played off with a small smile.
Giyu had a small frown on his face, almost like he knew what was really bothering me.
"(Y/n), you know you can talk to me right? Please don't hold back..I want to be useful to you." He said as he gently grasped my hand.
I looked at him with a thankful expression, but it quickly went sad again as I really didn't want to talk about it right now.
I only wished to forget..
"You are useful to me, don't ever think otherwise...I just, it's hard for me to talk about right now..." I trailed, and I could tell he felt guilty so I squeezed his hand, "But I promise I'll tell you when I'm ready. I just want to be with you now." I answered truthfully.
Giyu gave me a small smile as we heard a knock on the door.
We both turned our heads to see our friends walk in.
"You're awake!" Mitsuri squealed as she tackled me in a hug. She then gently 'tackled' Giyu in a hug.
I looked at Sabito who had a relieved look on his face as he saw Giyu. I couldn't help but smile at his happiness that Giyu was awake.
"Glad to see you're doing okay." Sabito said with a smile.
"Glad to be okay." Giyu smiled back.
Ohta and Mitsuri were grabbing their phones trying to take pictures of the rare moment of Giyu smiling.
He quickly caught on and stopped as a tease. The pair let out a frustrated groan of defeat.
"We've been trying to get a picture of him smiling forever now..." Mitsuri sighed and Ohta placed his hands atop of his head.
"Guess we'll never have proof that he can show emotions." Ohta fake cried.
Giyu shot Ohta a playful glare as Ohta laughed.
"How are you feeling?" Ohta asked him.
"Oh, I'm feeling fine thanks. The doctors said that I can leave within two days if all goes well." Giyu answered.
That means two more days of being here...well, at least it isn't longer than that.
"So soon? That's amazing!" Mitsuri said happily.
"I can finally show you what the others have done to the school hallways, I made sure that they kept it up until you're home." Sabito smirked.
I looked at him with a confused look.
"What did they do to the school hallways?" I asked out of curiosity. Sabito tensed up and gave a nervous smile.
"Uh...they...decorated it for...when Giyu gets home of course!" Sabito lied, and I knew he lied.
I gave him a deadpanned expression as he tensed even more. Then, I looked towards Giyu who also tensed up.
"Do you know anything about this?" I asked him.
"Uhm...only a little bit...why don't you explain it clearly to her, Sabito?" He said nervously.
I was beginning to feel irritated as the two went on trying to get the other to confess, I finally had enough and gave up on asking them.
"Alright well if no one answers, then I guess it can't be helped. I'll have to ask Tanjiro." I said as I shrugged my shoulders.
Ohta and Mitsuri started laughing at the scared expression Giyu and Sabito had.
"Listen! I-it was a harmless joke and the other teachers find you guys quite cute together!" Sabito spilled rather quickly.
Giyu looked at him in awe, and I looked even more confused.
"So...it has to do with out relationship then? What about it?" I asked.
"Well uhh..." Sabito giggled nervously and pulled out his phone, "We may or may not have...seen you guys together at the shopping centre...and...hung pictures up...in the school..." Sabito answered slowly as he turned his phone towards me.
The picture showed Giyu and I eating ice cream at a small parlor we found at the shopping centre. Except...it wasn't really eating...it was more like we tried to play swords with them ending up with us covered in ice cream.
My face immediately flushed a bright red, causing Mitsuri and Ohta to laugh even harder at my embarrassment.
"You...you mean that this picture is...all around your school!??" I asked flustered.
Sabito let out an even more nervous laugh and put his phone back in his pocket.
"Well...not just that photo..." He trailed.

Mitsuri and Ohta held me back as I had stood up to attack Sabito, their laughter causing tears to fall from their eyes.
Giyu was laughing too, causing my embarrassment to subside, and I started laughing with them too.
I've missed this...
Time flew by as we all talked and laughed with each other about little things. Sometimes it was us just teasing one another, or just a random noise one of us had made.
It felt so good to be with the people who really care for each other, and it took my mind out of the dark place it was in for a little while.
But of course...
The time had finally come for us to leave as visiting house were over now, and since I was discharged...I wasn't allowed to stay with him tonight.
I felt a tug at my heart as the others waited outside for me as I said goodbye him.
I didn't want to leave him all alone here in this gloomy place. I felt bad that he couldn't come with us.
Maybe I was being selfish...but how could I not be?
Giyu grabbed my hand at looked at me with a reassuring smile as if to say he'll be okay.
"I'll see you tomorrow okay? Make sure you get some rest too." He said gently.
I gave him a small kiss on his forehead and squeezed his hand.
"Okay..." I trailed as he gave me one last hug. "See you tomorrow...!" I gave my best smile and left his room.
Ohta was waiting for me with a smile.
"Ready to go?" He asked sweetly.
"Yeah." I said as he lead me out of the hospital and to the others.
We all decided to get some food on the way to hotel as I was feeling pretty hungry.
I didn't have much if an appetite last night because of it's events and the others wanted to make sure I was eating properly.
I couldn't help but smile at their actions, they were all doing their best to help us out.
I couldn't be more grateful for them, and it really felt like I had a whole new family.
Speaking of...I still need to visit mine later. I really wanted to see my mom one more time before I leave, even if that meant having to talk to my dad and brother.
I knew it wasn't going to be easy, but I know with these guys backing me up I'll be okay.
I really am lucky to have them all...
