wonjin's pov
the next day he woke up and hwayoung isn't beside him. he thought she was in the bathroom but it was empty.
"where is she?" he searched the room but she wasn't there. he went to the restaurants and cafe but she was nowhere to be seen
he went up to his room and took a quick shower before leaving the hotel and went to usj
arriving there he asked the manager about
an employee named nakamoto yuta. the manager asked why but he said it's very important so they called him inside the office
"yes? how can i help you?"
"have you seen my wife?"
"uhm sorry sir..but who is your wife?"
"the one who you accidentally hugged yesterday"
"ohh her.. no i haven't seen her today"
he sighed. "okay thanks" he left and continued to search for hwayoung
he spent the whole day looking for hwayoung. he search in all parts of osaka but couldn't find
"hwayoung, please... where are you?" he sobbed "im sorry... " please come back"
he called his parents and both of them had something to say. he explained that hwayoung is missing and his parents said "yes, we know"
he gasped. "what?! how?" and they told him that hwayoung texted her mum. they sent him a screen shot of the chat and he sighed.
he said thanks and ended the call. that day he check out of the hotel, took a taxi to kansai airport and also departed to korea
as he arrived there, he drove his car that he left at the airport back to his house, hoping hwayoung is there but no, she isn't there
"hwayoung.. im so sorry" he mumbled and hugged the picture frame that had their wedding photos
the next day he met with his and hwayoung's parents
"wonjin.. tell us. what did you do to her that made her go back here alone?" her dad asked
he inhales "we had an argument and i accidentally hurt her"
hwayoung's mum shed tears. "hwayoung.. my daughter.. oh god where is she now?"
"sorry mum but i thought she was with you"
"no... the last message she sent was yesterday if im not mistaken.. she said she left japan and we expected her to come here but she didn't"
"should we report the police?" his dad asked
"i can help" serim suggested
"how?" they all asked
"i have friends who can help. he works at the police department. don't worry. we'll find her"
"okay. thank you, selm" she hugged her son
she let go of the hug and turn to face wonjin. "ham wonjin. you shall be ready with the divorce papers. you and hwayoung will end this marriage"
"we're very sorry" his mum apologize with tears
"no sis. it's not your fault"
"but why... "
"for you information, she never wanted this marriage" her mum explain that made his parents gasped
"then why did she agree?"
"because we forced her. we're very sorry. it's my fault. i found out about his boyfriend and feared that he wouldn't be able to take care of her. i just wanted what's best for her" hwayoung's dad sigh, realizing that it was all his fault
"its okay. we'll talk about that later, right now, let us hope that she'll be okay" said his dad
