"T-Hi!"
Park Eunbyul stood at the corner near Mashiho, clapping as they did their introduction. She squinted her eyes from water that was being sprayed by their staff, stifling her laughter as her members went to self-promote themselves.
Jihoon came to the front, smiling at the camera. "I'm like the only member who can take off their shirt," he boasted, immediately getting reactions from the others. "But that breaks broadcasting rules."
"Please show us! Please show us!" Eunbyul gave it her all as she screamed, waving her arms as she did some cheerleading moves in the back. "Show our TEUMES! Show our TEUMES!"
"I'll show only 25 percent, okay?" Jihoon lifted his shirt, turning around as Eunbyul groaned loudly.
"That's like 0.25 percent, oppa. What are you doing?"
"What's wrong with you?!" The male exclaimed, trying his best to act nonchalant even though the youngest's words made him flustered. "Why do you want to see me shirtless?!"
Eunbyul remained calm, holding up a hand so Jihoon would stop talking. "Don't get it into your head. I'm TREASURE's insider, and it's only fair that I do my best to give what our TEUMES want," she retorted, making her members laugh. "Our fans only deserve the best service — not only 25 percent."
"But we can't do that. The content would be prohibited," the production staff explained, and everyone chuckled as Eunbyul sighed, placing her hands on her hips.
"So what should I do? Should I buy YouTube? Or should I become the CEO of YG? Maybe both?" She pursed her lips, looking at the camera with a wary smile after she spoke. "Father YG, I'm only joking. I would never want to overthrow you. But if you'd like to gift me some shares after I turn 18, then I'm not–" The rest of her words were muffled as Yedam and Jaehyuk covered her mouth, pulling her away from the camera.
Hyunsuk clapped, gesturing everyone to leave. "That's enough introductions. We can move on before things get worse," he stated.
Alas, that didn't happen.
Eunbyul hid her laugh as she saw her manager and production staff make extravagant gestures, asking her not to go overboard. But this was Eunbyul they were talking to — and she was a tough person to decipher.
"Hello, it's the future owner of YouTube and YG — as well as your Summer Queen — Park Eunbyul!"
"And that's a wrap! Please wait while we arrange the set!" The camera director announced, making TREASURE burst into laughter as the rest of the production staff did too.
MAKING SUMMER MEMES — WATER SPORTS
"Ah, this is Eunbyul's area of specialty," Jeongwoo commented, making faces as he teased the youngest. "She'll do really well."
"Do you want to die?" She neared the male, softly speaking so the boom mic wouldn't pick up on it. "Tease me one more time and I'll keep 'accidentally' pushing you off the floats."
"Forgive me, Princess Byul. I'm sorry." He rubbed his hands together, looking apologetic. "Please don't push me, I'm scared of the water."
"I know. That's why I said what I said." Eunbyul let out a laugh, turning around to meet Junkyu's shocked face. "Oh, oppa? Is there anything wrong?"
"Yah, that's the scariest I've seen you. Even I felt so scared." Junkyu kept a hand on his chest, exaggerating his expressions. "Wah, Jeongwoo-ya, you better be careful."
Mashiho, Doyoung, Haruto, Junkyu and Eunbyul got on the ninja turtle float, with the female taking a seat between the paper-doll and scaredy-cat; Doyoung and Haruto. After promising to take care of Hyunsuk's unofficial son, Eunbyul held her hand up as she swore an oath to protect Doyoung with her life.
Eunbyul saluted the eldest, standing straight as she gave her oath. "I, Park Eunbyul, swear to protect Doyoung with my life — even if it means pulling a Titanic and sacrificing myself so Doyoung can survive!" She loudly announced.
"Just don't get hurt, Star. No need for Titanic stunts." Hyunsuk laughed, shaking his head at the youngest's words.
The boat started, pulling away the float as the members held onto the handles, scared that they'll fly off. Eunbyul calmly sat, holding up her camera as she smiled, showing a peace sign, hoping they'd be enough for the summer memes. Haruto and Doyoung screamed from beside her, and she looked confused, wondering if the screams were happy or fearful ones.
"Hello, TREASURE MAKERS! We are — Doyoung-ah, where are you going?" Eunbyul's eyes widened, holding onto the male's arm as she pulled him back. "Be careful when you do stuff like this, TREASURE MAKERS! Don't fly off like Doyoung-ssi!" She linked their arms, gripping onto the handle as she let him take his summer meme shots.
The members successfully made their way back with no members falling off the float — but the same couldn't be said for the rest of them. Eunbyul watched the rides carefully as the others went, her heart racing whenever she saw a member fall off.
"Guys, be careful! Don't get hurt! Hold on tight!" She kept repeating the same words, using her loud voice to make sure the members on the float heard her warnings.
"Yes, Byul!"
"Don't worry, Star!"
"We are okay, Hoshi!"
Even though they assured her, Eunbyul nervously bit on her bottom lip, watching the float intently. After two other floats, Jeongwoo held onto the hands of the two maknaes, pulling them along with him as he wanted to go on the next ride.
Jeongwoo was afraid of open waters, and the way he looked at the two maknaes was a silent plead, asking to protect him in case anything were to happen. And of course, the birthday twins were more than ready to protect their member. They admired his bravery to get on the ride, so they were supportive and protective of him.
Jihoon, Asahi and Yedam also got on the float, with the leader only getting on because his precious child was on board, too. Just like Eunbyul was worried about her members, Jihoon worried for her the same.
The turtle float was harmless in his eyes. But this ride required a lot of arms and core strength — which Jihoon was sure Eunbyul had — but he wanted to be there too, as added protection.
As soon as the ride started, Jihoon copied what Junghwan did with Jeongwoo, throwing his leg over Eunbyul as he made sure the youngest wouldn't fly off. He held onto Junghwan's lifejacket as well, pulling on it whenever the male would slide away to the edge.
"Junghwan-ah, come closer." Jihoon pulled on the youngest's lifejacket, squishing Eunbyul in the process since he was on top of her. "I'm sorry, Byul-ah," he apologised, hearing her groans despite the loud sounds.
"Look at Julia's face!" Asahi spoke to the camera, stretching his arm so he could capture Eunbyul's pained expression. "How are you feeling, Julia?" The male inquired calmly, as if they were not fighting for their lives on a speedboat-dragging float.
The front of the float dipped low as the boat slowed a bit, sending all of them overboard. Jihoon was the first to get back on the float, reaching out his hand for Eunbyul, who was frantically looking around.
Junghwan held onto his birthday twin's arm, pulling both of them closer. "Byul-ah, I'm here!" Jihoon called out, extending his hand for her to hold.
"No, wait. Where's Jeongwoo-oppa?" She flapped her arms, trying to stay afloat while also searching for Jeongwoo. Seeing his white helmet, Eunbyul blinked a few times, getting the water out of her eyes before swimming towards the older. "Jeongwoo-oppa!"
The male was frantic, kicking his feet underneath as he kept his held up, afraid of drowning. "Save me, I can't get there!" He yelled, his voice filled with panic. "I'm scared of water!"
Without another word, Eunbyul took big strokes, getting near Jeongwoo. She pulled him onto her back, having his arms rested on her shoulder while his legs wrapped around her waist. Eunbyul found it difficult to swim back, but she somehow did so, teasing Jeongwoo as they made it onto the float — it was their way of making the other feel comfortable.
"Aigoo, Park Jeongwoo. You have all big talk, but you can't swim in open water, huh?" She joked, pulling herself onto the float after she pushed Jeongwoo onto it. "And you have the audacity to make fun of me. Wah, Park Jeongwoo."
Jeongwoo groaned, holding onto his chest as the boat stayed put, letting the members gather some energy. "Just stop it. I almost died, so don't taunt me." He blindly waved his hand, trying to hit the youngest.
"You wouldn't have died, oppa. I would've been there to save you — just like I did now."
After another round, the boat came back to the dock, pulling the float along with it. Eunbyul got down, having had enough fun and excitement to last her at least a year. As much as she wanted to go more, Eunbyul opted to stay with the rest of the members, seeing as their leaders were out enjoying themselves.
MAKING SUMMER MEMES — SHOOTING A SUMMER COMMERCIAL
Park Eunbyul watched as Junkyu introduce himself as their camera director, furrowing her brows as she saw Jaehyuk dancing alone in the room's corner. He was adamant in his 'aloha-o-yeah' idea, but the plan was already scrapped.
Seeing as he was having fun alone, Eunbyul did what best friends do and joined him on the fun, copying his wavy 'aloha-o-yeah' moves. "Hula, hula. That's how we say hello. Move your hands out, and wave them all around. Hula, hula," she sang, suddenly remembering a song from a show she watched when she was small.
The two vibed on the side, getting more screen time together as the cameraperson recorded the bestie duo at their peak, doing weird things. That's what six years of crackhead friendship did to you.
Eunbyul stood in between alongside Junghwan as the summer medley segment was introduced, with Jaehyuk going first and singing 'Red Flavor'. As expected of the new middle-school graduate, So Junghwan, he sang the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song — which was what Eunbyul would've sung too because they had been bingeing on that show for a long time.
When Eunbyul's turn came, the jukebox inside her just went off, her body moving to the melody in her head before she could sing it aloud. "Let's dance the night away! Bum, bum, bara, bum, bum, bum!" She sang, dancing to the chorus as her members gave the background music for it.
Eunbyul passed the vibe check for the summer medley, with Hyunsuk unfortunately getting the penalty after singing 'Lovesick Girls'. The female maknae stayed out of the elimination voting, yeeting away as it reminded her of her time in YGTB. Seeing Jihoon step away — as well as Hyunsuk's facial expression — she realised they were feeling the same, too.
As Hyunsuk did his summer commercial while Haruto recorded it, Eunbyul sat near Yoshi, watching the whole scene intently. When they saw their eldest leader's aegyo, Eunbyul let out a groan, doing the weirdest action as she started doing pushups, while Yoshi smacked a frisbee onto the floor.
"I'll do one. I'll do one!" Eunbyul volunteered, grabbing a can of Pocari Sweat as she crouched near Haruto. "In this hot summer, who will you cool down with? With me? No, no, with Pocari!" She took a sip of the drink before speaking, copying the style Haruto did with their orange juice advert, smiling as her members burst into laughter.
"Agh, Hoshi, kawaii!" Haruto muttered, pinching the younger's cheeks before she stood, quickly searching for some Fanta to overpower the taste of Pocari Sweat.
The shoot ended quickly, since the members had other schedules they had to attend, especially since they were in the middle of preparing for their comeback and shooting for their partnership, 'Find Your Korea'.
"You guys! We wish you a cool summer! T-Bye!"
