"Ahhh this is interesting! 'Kokoronashi' means 'somehow' or 'somewhat'. On the other hand, 'kokoro' means 'heart' so perhaps this song has something to do with doubt in....eh, love?" Momo analyses.
"Excellent Yaoyorozu. Your analysis is steadily improving." Aizawa stated, earning a look of awe from both his student and Hizashi.
Flustered, but hiding it under his capture-weapon, Aizawa grumbled a "Shut up Yamada."
"Wha-Shota I didn't even say anything!"
"I predicted it." Eraser said with his signature grin. Yamada whined, not ammused.
The screen lights up
"If I abandoned everything (Nee, moshimo subete nagesuteraretara)
Would it be easier to laugh and live? (Waratte ikiru koto ga raku ni naru no?)"
Midoriya says, towards an All Might poster in his darkened room, a text message popping up on his All-Might themed phone that Ink would be at work for a few more hours.
"My chest is starting to hurt again (Mata mune ga itaku naru kara)"
Izuku clutches his chest, in a flashback, bandages spread on his face.
"Did Midoriya never receive proper medical treatment after.... these incidents?" Shoji seethed.
"I'm not trying to blame his mum, of course... but I thought she was a nurse..?" Uraraka said miserably.
"This seems like either Midoriya hid this from his mum, or she couldn't handle the truth, so as a natural defence mechanism, stopped focusing on the signs of abuse, as a way for her to reduce the pain." Midnight reasoned.
"Shota, note that down." Nedzu chirped, still seemingly pleasant.
"Doing so." he replied.
"Don't say any more (Mou nani mo iwanai de yo)"
"If I forgot everything (Nee, moshimo subete wasurerareta nara)"
Flashes of the doctor announcing his quirklessness, Bakugou's betrayal, the tormenting from his peers and the guilty, pitying looks he received.
Bakugou flinches, and shifts.
"Would it be easier to live without tears..? (Nakanai de ikiru koto mo raku ni naru no?)"
"But I can't do that (Demo sonna koto dekinai kara)"
Izuku smiles bitterly.
"Don't show me any more (Mou nani mo misenai de yo)"
"I don't blame him, I'd want to hide from this reality too, if I was where he was." Kamui Woods contributed.
"Kota-kun, when Mr Deku wakes up, we should give Mr Deku tons and tons of... ummm what was the thing that people do when they love and care for eachother..?"
"Hugs?"
"Yeah, hugs! When Mr Deku wakes up, we should give him tons of hugs!" Eri exclaimed, red eyes glistening.
A smirk spread across Kota's slightly flustered face, "Y-yeah!"
"However close I get to you (Kimi ni dore dake chikazuite mo)
I only have one heart (Boku no shinzou wa hitotsu dake)"
Midoriya looks out at his window to a dark, starry sky.
"It's cruel, it's ugly, I'd rather you take my body (Hidoi yo hidoi yo, mou isso boku no karada wo)
And destroy it, tear it apart, do as you like with it (Kowashite hikisaite suki na you ni shite yo)!"
Midoriya clutches his hair, collapsing to his knees.
"Is Deku's head hurt? What's happening?" Kota expressed his and Eri's concern.
"It's not his head that's hurt, squirts. It's his heart." Gran Torino grumbled, a miserable frown on his face.
'This kid isn't just Nine. He is Deku, a hero, and he is also Izuku Midoriya, a child... that chimera-creature better do a good damn job, as well as that blonde zygote, in helping Nine.'
A smile spreads across Nedzu's face, as he turns away from looking at Gran Torino.
'Don't worry Sorahiko, I'll make sure this boy get the right treatment he deserves.'
"No matter how much I scream and struggle, or my eyelids swell (Sakende mogaite mabuta wo harashite mo)"
Tears start to trickle down Izuku's red-rimmed eyes.
"You just hold me without letting go (Mada kimi wa boku no koto wo dakishimete hanasanai)"

"You can stop now (Mou ii yo)."
"We will never Midoriya! You are an amazing friend and we should return as such!" iida exclaims, gesturing wildly.
"You are right, kero!" Tsuyu declared.
"WE LOVE YOU TOO MIDOOOOO!" Mina laughed joyfully.
"If my wishes came true (Nee, moshimo boku no negai ga kanau nara)

Midoriya says, referring to Bakugou, about being a hero.
"At least come here (Jaa semete koko ni kite yo)...?"
He asks to empty space.
"Tch, this damn nerd. He better give his fullest to try beat me one day!" Bakugou triumphs, earning a grin from Kirishima.
"Manly, dude!"
"However much I'm loved by you (Kimi ni dore dake aisarete mo)

Midoriya looks confused in the ocean of his happy and loving classmates.
"Stop, quit it, you're being too kind to me (Yamete yo yamete yo, yasashiku shinai de yo)...
I can't understand, however I try (Doushite mo boku ni wa rikai ga dekinai yo)!"]
Izuku yells on the inside, but smiles on the outside.
"I think he doesn't get why we're being so nice to him, when no one was to him before..." Ojirou alleged.
"It hurts, I'm in pain, use your words and let me (Itai yo itai yo, kotoba de oshiete yo)
I don't know what's going on, don't leave me alone (Konna no shiranai yo hitori ni shinai de)!"
"I-I think it's also telling us that he is starting to rely and trust on u-us, b-but in fact, it causes him f-fear that we'll hurt him l-like-" Kouda starts, before Shoji interrupts with
"It's ok if you want to sign to us, we won't mind!"
Kouda gives him a grateful smile and an understanding nod, before signing 'like everyone else in his past'.
Those who understood, give him a nod.

Izuku cracks a grateful but watery smile as he is embraced by his classmates.
"We'll support you no matter what!" Kaminari and Jirou say in sync.

"God, your kids are wonderful Shota." Present Mic says, as he watches Class 1-A yell refusals at the previous line.
Swallowing his reflexive his usual snarky remark, Shota mutters "Yeah, I guess these brats are.."
Hizashi gasps, before Shota sends him a glare, which shuts him up but doesn't swipe the teasing gaze that has spread on Mic's face.
"If I have a heart (Nee, moshimo boku ni kokoro ga aru nara)
How could I find it? (Dou yatte sore wo mitsukereba ii no?)"
Izuku asks, openly to his close friends.
You smile a little and say to me (Sukoshi hohoende kimi ga iu)
"If that's what you're looking for, it's right here" ("Sore wa ne, koko ni aru yo")
The class say, some putting a hand to his heart.
A tender smile spreads across Izuku's sleeping face.
'Heh...maybe we can be friends after all, Midoriya... and I'll work just as hard as you to be a hero. I'll destroy all expectations from my past, just like you.' Shinso thinks to himself.
"Alright! Next universe!" Hatsume chirps.
