Maia's POV:
I go back to my room and immediately start crying. What was Peter talking about? He isn't a second option, I genuinely don't know who that guy was.
Why did he feel like us breaking up was for the best?
So many questions flooded my head so I just decided to go to the studio and write about how I felt.
When I walk in the studio, I feel a sense of deja vu. I haven't been in here in almost two months, and it felt very nostalgic to be here again.
I sit down and before I start, I go through my old songs to see if I could get some inspiration from them.
Immediately, I see a lot of songs that I didn't recognize. There was even a folder titled, "Our Love in a Melody." When did I make that?
I'm the only one that uses the studio so it couldn't have been any of the Avengers.
I click on the file and see a bunch of songs that were apparently written by me and someone else named Luke Patterson.
Ok..now I'm starting to freak out. Who's Luke Patterson?
There were even duets so I decided to click on the first duet which was titled, "Boyfriend."
The song plays and I hear my voice.

The song plays a bit more and I hear another voice join, Luke.

I lose my mind when it comes to you
I take time with the ones I choose

I pause the song and take a second to process this. I have no idea when I wrote this song, when I sang it, or who I'm singing it with.
I click on the next song which was titled, "When You're Ready" and it was written by Luke.
It plays and as I listen to the lyrics, my heart starts to skip a beat. The way he expresses his emotions in this song was truly amazing.
And if I have to, I'll wait forever

I stop the song and listen to the last one that catches my attention, "ghostin."
It was the last song on the track list and it was apparently written by me.
I play it and as I listen to the lyrics, I couldn't quite make out what I was trying to say.
It sounded like someone had...passed away.
That's when suddenly in a flash I see myself watching an ambulance drive away. I look around and notice that I'm in an alley of some sort and feel arms holding me back. "I'm sorry, Emily."
Wait a minute...Emily.
I'm in Los Angeles
This was when Alex and Reggie had passed away, but why am I here? Did I write the song about them?
But it sounded more like a song about losing someone I loved.
And not in a friendly way.
In the blink of an eye, I was back in the studio. I look around and decided to search up Sunset Curve. When I do, I click the first article that pops up and the image I see makes my heart drop.
There he was.
The boy that I saw during the experiment. He was a part of Sunset Curve.
But why can't I remember him? Why haven't I met him.
My thoughts were interrupted when I see my hands start to glow the same way they did during the experiment.
A small orb leaves my hand and floats to a hologram. Suddenly a video starts to play and I see Alex and Reggie.

"How do you turn this thing on?" Alex asks as the camera then shows Reggie looking around.
"It's on! You just have to see if that red light is flashing." He says as Alex gets into frame and is staring at the red light.
"Oh he's starting, point the camera!" Reggie says as the camera then turns to Luke and Emily.
Luke had his guitar in his hands and Emily was sitting on a bench in front of Los Felix High School.
He then begins to sing a song that he wrote the same day for her. A song that would in hopes change the way Emily saw him.
I'm good at wasting time
I think lyrics need to rhyme

He stops singing and then the camera turns to Alex and Reggie going into the frame and saying, "awwww."
They laugh and then the video stops.

Wait...so I have met Luke before?
I go to the track list and notice that the first song was titled, "Introducing Me." Which I'm assuming was the song he was singing to me in the video. Just to make sure, I click on the song and sure enough it was the same.
Why couldn't I remember it though?
Does this mean that Luke and I dated?
Based on all of the songs in the track list, we did. He could also be the person I was singing about in "Ghostin."
This is all too much to handle.
I walk out of the studio and go to the only person that I knew could help me, Wanda.
