Maia's POV:
We all head down to the living room where all the Avengers were drinking and talking to each other.
"Guys, I have a question. Do you think we can try to activate my golden powers? They might be able to make the guys visible permanently." I say as they all look at each other, a bit worried about the idea.
"Nothing bad is going to happen. I won't let anything bad happen." I tell them as they all remain hesitant.
"F.R.I.D.A.Y. did show a similar power source in the garage that the boys live in, maybe she's right. Maybe this is the key to giving them a second chance at life." Bucky says as everyone realizes that he's right.
"Alright, let's do it." Steve says as we all go back to the lab.
My dad hooks me up to the machine that we used on Thursday.
"Nervous?" he asks while placing the heart monitor on me. "Not really. I just hope it works." I say with a serious look on my face.
"It will. Your theory makes sense." He says as he kisses my forehead and sets up the video.
"Are you gonna play the same video?" I ask as he nods his head no. "Nope, but you'll like this one. The boys suggested it." I then furrow my brows and look towards the only three boys with nervous looks on their faces. In hopes to calm me down, they each give me a thumbs-up but it looked like they needed it more than me.
My dad then goes up to the machine and counts-down.
Here goes nothing.

This was different.
I wasn't watching a video, nor was I in the compound. I was...at school, but not Midtown. I was at Los Felix, the rooftop.
The last time I was here was when...oh my gosh.
"Hi beautiful." a familiar voice says behind me.
Luke.
"Hey handsome." I say, remembering the exact conversation we had this day. "You know...I was thinking." He says while walking up to me and grabbing my hands, staring deep into my eyes.
"Hmm, that's new." I say as he pretends to be offended. We both laugh and he continues talking.
"As I was saying...I was thinking. With me spending so much time at rehearsals and gigs, I figured that we should have a night to ourselves. Specifically, homecoming."
I could tell that he was nervous, but then again I remembered this day as if it was yesterday.
"Patterson, are you asking me to homecoming?" I say as I put my hands on my heart and act surprised.
"That depends, would you say yes? Because if you don't then I have no idea what I'm gonna do with these." He says as he grabs the two tickets out of his pocket and shows them to me.
"Of course I'll go with you, love." I say as he then picks me up and spins me around. We both laugh and when he puts me down, he gives me a quick kiss before a nervous look plasters on his face again.
"What's wrong?" I ask as I look at him. I could feel the nervous tension between us but I wondered why...well only because I was playing along.
"I uh..I just realized that I have to dance. I don't really know how to dance." he says as he scratches the back of his head, something that he always did when he's nervous.
"That's easy, I could teach you." His face lights up and you could practically see the nerves leaving his body.
"Really?" he asks, excitement in his tone.
"Yeah! My mom prepared me for a situation like this. I'll show you right now!" I say as I drag him to an open area on the rooftop.
"Right now?" he says, not expecting a dance lesson at this very moment. "Yes, c'mon! You'll love it!"
(also im so sorry that there's so many songs in this book, I just feel like it adds a little something to a story but if you want to skip it you can)

As we both finish singing, we walk around each other, just looking in each other's eyes, savoring this beautiful moment.
"I love you." he says which makes me smile and cup his cheek with my right hand. I then play with his hair a bit before saying, "I love you too."
We both lean in and right before we kiss each other, in the blink of an eye I was back in the compound.
Great.
I could feel everyone's eyes on me. I look to see Alex, Reggie, and Willie with big smiles on their faces.
"Uh...did it work?" I ask ask I look to see my dad clicking away at numerous holograms.
"I'm not sure..your hands did glow but I'm not sure if we collected enough for all three of the boys. I'm not even sure if we collected enough for one." he says with an upset look on his face.
I then turn to look at Peter, the sight made me feel awful. He looked upset, his eyes were just looking down at the ground. I'm guessing that everyone saw what I saw.
He saw Luke and I.
My dad goes up to me to remove all of the wires and machines attached to me.
"I'm excited to meet him." He says as he looks at me with a smile. "I know that dad's are supposed to be super protective of their daughters and give their boyfriends a hard time but...I can tell that he's the one, and I support it one-hundred percent." He says as he kisses my forehead again.
I smile at him before looking back at Peter who had left the room.
He probably hates me now.
I'm eventually free from everything and I leave the room and I go up to the boys as they all give me a group hug.
"That was so cool! The way that your hands just started glowing yellow and then it was being sucked in to that jar over there." Reggie says as I turn around, only to see that he was right. On one of the tables, there was a container filled with my new superpower.
"So, did you like our memory suggestion?" Alex asks as he nudges me on the shoulder.
"I loved it, thank you. But how did you know..?" I ask as he just says, "Luke told us what happened that day. He said that that was the moment he knew that he wanted to give you that promise ring."
I then look down at my finger and stare at the ring that held so many memories and so much love in it.
Maybe my dad was right, maybe he is the one.
"I know that look. That's the same look you had when you came back from your first date with Luke, whatcha thinking about?" Alex says as he starts to wiggle his eyebrows and pokes me a few times.
Everyone laughs at the two of us and Reggie puts his arm around my shoulder.
"Nothing, I'm just realizing how thankful I am to have you guys back. And to have a new friend that I can hangout with whenever I get tired of you guys." I say walking up to Willie and putting my arm around his shoulder. Alex and Reggie gasp as they touch their hearts and act offended.
"How dare you?"
"After everything we've been through!"
Willie and I just laugh as I let him go. We go back inside the lab and see everyone gathering around my dad, blank looks on their faces.
"What's going on? Is everything okay?" I ask as everyone turns to look at the four of us.
"Yeah, everything's fine...it's just that-" my dad says as he looks at everyone.
"We only grabbed enough of your powers for one person." Nat says as she looks at all of us with a sad look on her face.
"One person? But Emily's hands were glowing the entire time." Reggie says in confusion.
"We thought it would be enough, but to get enough power for all three of you, not including Luke, we would need to show her that video at least twenty times. The longer she uses those powers in one sitting, the weaker it becomes." Dad explains as the guys look at each other.
"You guys can have it. I can wait." Reggie says as Alex agrees. "I can wait too. Willie, you've been waiting for this day longer than both of us combined. You take it."
"Wait, seriously?" Willie says as a smile creeps up on his face. "Seriously." Alex says as he playfully pushes him towards all of us.
Willie just stands there with a smile, still shocked at the same time.
"O-ok. I'll do it." He says as I go to hug him.
We then sit him on a chair and grab the container with my powers in it. "How are we gonna transfer it from the container, to Willie?" Bruce asks as we all think about it for a second.
"I think I know how." I say as I signal for them to open the jar. My dad was a bit hesitant but opens it nonetheless.
As it opened the powers flew out of the jar but stayed floating mid-air.
With my telekinesis, I focused all my attention on moving the powers into Willie. Soon enough, it was moving towards Willie and I could hear everyone gasp.
"It's working." Wanda says and I could basically hear the smile forming on her face.
The orb then makes contact with Willie and when it does, his whole body begins to glow a golden color.
I think we did it.
"You did it." He whispers as he looks at me with the happiest look I've ever seen on a person. "You did it. You really did it!" He then jumps out of his chair and gives me a giant bear hug. "Thank you. Thank you so much." He says as he begins to get emotional. "Aw Willie, you're welcome!" I say as I go in to give him another hug.
We then look around the room to see Alex and Reggie's reaction, they both had huge smiles on their face and they go to hug Willie. "Congrats man." Reggie says as he pats him on the back.
F.R.I.D.A.Y. then speaks up saying, "Ms. Stark, I have been calculating how long the energy from the Mind Stone will last in Mr. Mercer and Mr. Peter's. It is estimated that the energy will run out by midnight tomorrow."
"Midnight tomorrow. Okay, well now we know how to make it permanent. Soon enough we'll have enough power to bring the rest of them back to life." I say as they all nod.
"Willie, if you want you can stay here tonight, or as long as you need." I say as everyone agrees. "It's really no problem." My dad says as Willie thanks us.
"As much as I would love that, I think I'm gonna head home. See my family for the first time in a while."
"Can you still teleport?" I asks as he tries. Turns out that they still can which we all thought was pretty cool.
"Well in that case, I'll see you all tomorrow." I wave bye to Alex, Reggie and Willie as they all poofed away.
"What a day." I say as I go up to my family. "Bet you didn't think when you woke up this morning that you would see your friends again." Sam says as we all laugh. "No, I did not"
Alex's POV:
After Reggie and I left the compound, I couldn't help but feel so happy for Willie. He finally got a second chance at life.
Although I was a bit upset that they couldn't collect enough power today, I know that by the time Luke and Emily talk things over, she'll have enough power to bring all three of us back to life.
We go inside the garage only to see Luke looking at his songbook, a blank look on his face.
"Hey man, how you feelin'?" Reggie asks as we both walk up to him. He just smiles and looks at us.
"Pretty good, just a little tired if I'm being honest. It's getting pretty late so we should go to sleep." He says as he gets up and lays down on the couch.
"What do you think that's about?" Reggie whispers to me. "I don't know. Maybe he's in denial again." I say as Reggie just nods.
"He's right though, it's getting late. We can talk about it in the morning." I say as we both lay down in our inflatable beds that Julie had gotten for us.
"Goodnight, Alex." Reggie says as he puts a blanket on top of himself. "Goodnight, Reg." I say as I close my eyes, not believing how much our lives have changed in just the span of one week.
Who knows what'll happen next.
