"Would that be all Miss?" The waiter asked looking at Jisoo and Jisoo alone while giving his brightest smile.
"Yeah that would be it" Jisoo politely answered
"Okay, let me take these then" The waiter said while getting their menus and "accidentally" touching Jisoo's hand when he gets hers. "Just call me if you need anything" he continued and Jisoo nodded
"And I mean anything" He said before finally walking away from their table and Jennie couldn't help but roll her eyes.
"What was that?" Lisa said looking disgusted
"What was what?" Jisoo asked being oblivious as per usual.
"Chu, he's totally into you!" Soojoo said and Jennie flinched at the nickname used. That was her nickname for Jisoo. That's what she calls Jisoo. It felt different when someone else calls Jisoo that. So she did what she has unconsciously been doing since Jisoo and Soojoo arrived, she sulked in her seat.
"Totally" Rosie chimes and nods her head enthusiastically
"What? He's not. He was just being nice" Jisoo answered before looking towards Jennie who was insanely quiet the whole time. "Right Jen?" The girl continued while nudging Jennie.
"H-huh? Come again?" Jennie snapped back from her thoughts
Jisoo tilts her head observing the girl beside her "You sure you're fine? You seem a bit distracted"
"Y-yeah. I'm just hungry" Jennie silently replied
Jisoo didn't buy Jennie's excuse. She knows something is bothering the other girl but she didn't want to press it any further. She knows Jennie will tell her what's bothering her when she's ready to tell her and she wants to respect that.
A few moments later and the waiter came back with their orders. He places Jisoo's plate last and he intentionally brushed the back of his hands against Jisoo's left hand which was on the table.
"Please let me know if you need anything else" The waiter said but he was just looking at Jisoo "I'll always be available" he trails "to serve you"
Jennie rolled her eyes since everyone seems to be all over Jisoo tonight and she's not having any of it.
"We don't need anything else and we probably won't be needing anything else but I think other tables do so why don't you go over there and serve them instead?" Jennie snapped
"Yeah o-okay" The waiter was taken aback "Just call me if ever you need assistance" he continued before leaving.
"Woah what was that all about?" Jisoo asked
"What?" Jennie answered coldly
"That" Jisoo points to the direction where the waiter had left
"What? He was being improper. He shouldn't flirt with customers you know" Jennie shrugged
"But you didn't snap like that when that happened to us" Lisa said teasingly
"I don't know what you're talking about" Jennie glares at Lisa
"Oh I think you do" Lisa leans forward "And you know what else do I think? I think you're being overly protective towards Jisoo unnie" Lisa smirks
If looks could kill, Lisa would probably be dead right now as Jennie glares at her. Jennie was still thinking of what to say but thankfully, Rosie unknowingly saved her.
"And I think that's cute" Rosie coos
"I think you're cute" Lisa winks at her and Rosie blushed
"Nice" Jennie high fives Lisa
"Not in front of the food, kids" Jisoo scolds
Most parts of the dinner went rather well except the part where Jennie sulked the entire time and would occasionally grunt every time Soojoo would link her arms with Jisoo and every time Jisoo would tell them things about Soojoo as if she's the most interesting person in the world.
Jennie knew Jisoo just wanted them to get to know Soojoo. But she can't help but feel bad about it. Was it jealousy? She doesn't know. She's never really liked anyone this much before. Whatever it is, it's not a nice feeling.
Jennie wonders if things will change between her and Jisoo. She wonders if Jisoo would spend less time with her now that Soojoo is in town.
"It was nice meeting everyone" Soojoo's voice broke Jennie's train of thoughts
"It was nice meeting you too" Lisa said smiling genuinely at the new girl
"Yeah, likewise" Jennie mumbled trying to force a smile.
"It was nice seeing you again unnie" Rosie said hugging the girl "How are you gonna go home?" she continued
"Oh" Soojoo looked at Jisoo "Jisoo's going home with me actually, she's going to help me unpack some boxes" she beams
"Right" Rosie said before turning to Jisoo "Are you staying the night at Sojoo unnie's or should I wait for you to come home?"
"Well..." Jisoo trails, she didn't really think through it that much "I might go home since I didn't bring any clothes with me but don't wait up for me Chaengyoungie since we don't know yet what time we'll finish"
"Don't be silly. You can borrow some of my clothes and you can stay over. It's dangerous to go home alone late at night you know" Soojoo offered
Jennie didn't like the idea of Jisoo staying over at Soojoo's. She didn't like it one bit. The rational part of her says she shouldn't do something about it since the two have been friends long before Jennie even met Jisoo, but the irrational side of her says not to take chances. Who knows what might happen during that sleepover?
"Maybe I can help?" Jennie interrupts "I m-mean, I can drive you guys to Soojoo's place so you don't have to commute and I can drive Jisoo home afterwards"
Soojoo contemplates for a bit before responding. She doesn't know Jennie quite well and this is the first time she met her not to mention the fact that they didn't really get to know each other well because the girl was unrealistically quiet the whole time.
"Are you sure? You might have some more important things to do"
Jennie shakes her head before answering "No I don't. And please, I don't want to third wheel with these two" she said pointing at Rosie and Lisa
"I think it's a good idea" Jisoo chimes in "It'll be easier if there's three of us and we might finish earlier"
"Uhh, Okay I guess?" Soojoo answered lowly. She was disappointed since she was actually looking forward to spending time with Jisoo alone
"Great! Shall we go then?"
Soojoo and Jisoo nodded and the three of them bid their goodbyes to Rosie and Lisa who are planning to get dessert.

"What do you think of Jennie for Jisoo unnie?" Lisa asked Rosie as they eat their ice cream across from each other.
"I think she's really nice and sweet but I'm honestly worried for the both of them"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean; you know Jennie more than I do. But I've heard some rumors about her and she's got the reputation of a player"
"Okay... I'll be honest. Yes, Jennie unnie used to fool around but trust me Chaeng ever since she met Jisoo unnie she's never flirted with anyone, not even when we're out partying." Lisa stops just so she could eat a spoonful of ice cream
"And I've never seen her so invested towards anyone, I've never seen her care so much for someone as much as she cares for Jisoo unnie. She's just so happy whenever she's with Jisoo and I've never seen her that happy her whole life. I've also never seen her look forward to anything until she met her." Lisa continues
"I think she's really serious about Jisoo. No wait, I don't think it, I know it" Lisa finishes her statement lifting her spoon up to show determination.
"Okay..." Rosie sighs "I can see that actually. But you know, I just don't want my best friend to get hurt. That is, if she'll even allow Jennie inside her heart."
"I understand. But you said earlier that you're worried for the both of them. Why are you worried for Jennie?"
Rosie takes a deep breath before answering, her eyes looking at her ice cream cup as she plays with the content using the spoon "Like I said, I can see all of the things you said. I can see the effort Jennie is putting just to make Jisoo happy" Rosie lifted her gaze to meet Lisa's
"But you know... Jisoo unnie is different. She never falls in love, there was never a time she fell in love, and I'm not sure if she ever will" Rosie's eyes are full of emotions, mostly sad ones, and Lisa can't help but to take Rosie's hand into her own to comfort the latter
"I'm worried Jennie will get hurt if Jisoo won't be able to reciprocate her feelings" Rosie says softly. Lisa can't help but to find the other girl adorable. The way she cares for people makes her even more loveable.
"Hey listen to me..." Lisa said as she caresses the back of Rosie's hand with her thumb "We don't get to control if we get hurt in this world. Don't get me wrong, of course I don't want my best friend to get hurt, but if Jennie unnie does get hurt, at least she gets hurt trying. I think at this point; she'll get hurt either way even if she doesn't choose to pursue Jisoo unnie"
"Not to be hopeful, but there's a part of me that believes Jennie might actually have a chance" Rosie smiles
"You think so?" Lisa asked and Rosie nodded
"I know Jisoo, she's my best friend. There's just something the way she acts towards Jennie unnie that is different. Something I've never seen before"
"So do you think we should help them?"
"I think we should" Rosie agreed
"But how exactly do we help them?" Lisa asked
"First, we need to help them realize their true feelings for each other first and make them see that they are perfect for each other"
"Sounds like a plan" Lisa nodded
