Jennie woke up when she felt her neck stiffened from their position. Jisoo and Jennie fell asleep while watching several Disney movies. Jennie doesn't want to complain though even if her neck hurts as she loves how Jisoo fell asleep in her arms, and the other girl's head buried in her neck. Jennie reached for her phone carefully as she didn't want to wake the other girl up. She frowned when she saw her parents looking for her as there were some serious business matters that she needs to address to. Working for a family business has its own pros and cons, Jennie sure handles her own time, but there are times like this where she will be called to handle some urgent matters regardless of what day and what time it is. Jennie didn't want to leave just yet especially when her heart is happy because of the mere presence of the other girl beside her but she knew she had to because she could already feel her mother's anger just by reading the text messages that the latter sent her.

Jennie carefully carried Jisoo to transfer her into her room and into her bed as she didn't want to wake her up. The problem is Jisoo and Rosie's apartment is a two-bedroom unit and she doesn't know which one is Jisoo's room. She wanted to text Rosie but she figured that since it's already 3:30 in the morning, the girl might already be asleep. Jennie took her chances and open the door near the bathroom. To her luck, she is certain that it was Jisoo's room as there were polaroids stuck on the wall just above the head rest of the bed and Jisoo was in each of the photos in the polaroid. Jennie carefully placed Jisoo on the bed not wanting to wake her up. The other girl just groaned and took a few twist and turn on the bed and Jennie felt a sigh of relief that Jisoo didn't wake up fully. She took her time to observe the other girl's room. Jisoo's room was neat, minimalist with a hint of hipster vibe in style. Polaroids are glued to her wall above her bed's head designed with Christmas lights, she has a study table and on the wall above the table there is a cockboard and letters from Jisoo's friends were pinned into it. The rest of the room were clean and neat.

Jennie took a piece of paper and pen from Jisoo's study table and wrote a letter to Jisoo before leaving the letter to the bedside table. She took another look at the sleeping girl and sighed before turning off the lights and closing the door as she really didn't want to leave just yet.

———

Jisoo woke up scanning her room, she was certain that she fell asleep on the couch last night with Jennie. She had a little memory of Jennie carrying her to her room but she thought it was merely a dream. Jisoo sat up on her bed when she saw a letter beside the lamp on her bedside table. She opened the letter and started reading the content of it.

Jisoo,

Good morning! I'm sorry I didn't get to properly say goodbye when I left because I had to attend some urgent matters from work. I hope you didn't mind but I carried you from the couch to your bed as I didn't want you to sleep uncomfortably. Thank you so much for last night, I genuinely had a good time watching movies with you. I'll see you again soon.

Jennie.

Jisoo was smiling from ear to ear as she was reading Jennie's letter. For some reason she can't explain herself yet, her lips would always involuntarily form a smile whenever she thinks of the latter. Her Saturday was definitely far from boring as what she initially thought it would be. In fact, it was the opposite. It was one of her happiest Saturdays that didn't involve much fun outdoor activities with her friends. She is definitely looking forward to seeing Jennie again soon.

———

A few days have passed since Jennie and Jisoo bonded at the latter's apartment. They have been in constant communication since then through texting and even facetiming at times. Rosie noticed the change in her best friend's behavior which brought herself to ask the older girl a question as they were eating dinner in their apartment.

"You seem happy these past few days unnie"

Jisoo shifted her attention from her phone and gave Rosie a confused look

"What do you mean? I'm always happy"

"Aish! I know that.. but this time it's different. It's a different kind of happy"

Jisoo shrugged trying not to give any more meaning to what the other girl has been trying to say

"Maybe it's because I'm not too stressed at work"

"Is it really because of that? Or is it because of someone?" Rosie gave Jisoo a teasing smile while wiggling her brows.

"Yah! You know I don't have that" Jisoo glared at the other girl

"Then what do you call Jennie unnie?"

Jisoo raised one of her brows at her bestfriend's question

"Huh? Jennie? I call her Jennie sometimes Jen" Jisoo laughed

Rosie couldn't help but roll her eyes at her friend's sarcastic remark. The girl is always good at getting out of the subject through her wit.

"You know what I mean unnie. What is she to you? What are you guys exactly?"

Jisoo bit her lip. She knows she and Jennie are friends and nothing more but she also can't deny the fact that she yearns for the girl's presence. She's always waiting for Jennie's text, always looking forward to facetiming her just to see her face, and not to mention they have been eating lunch together for the past few days after they bonded in their apartment. This is normal, right? To miss your friends whenever they're not around. Jisoo tried to convince herself.

"We're just friends Chaeyoung-ah nothing more! Why are you giving meaning to our friendship?" Jisoo pouts as she answered the other girl

"You said it yourself Unnie. Deny all you want, but body language doesn't lie" Rosie smirked at her best friend

"Ha! Does that mean you're finally admitting that there really is something going on between you and Lisa?" Jisoo's expression widened as she finally found a way out to shift the topic back to the younger girl.

Rosie rolled her eyes once again. Of course, her best friend found a way out again and turn her words against her, as always.

"I told you a thousand times Unnie, there is nothing going on between me and Lisa"

Jisoo chuckled as she sees the sudden change in Rosie's expression.

"Okay, then there's also nothing going on between me and Jennie" Jisoo said winking at her best friend.

Rosie once again rolled her eyes while Jisoo giggled

———

"You barely even give time for me anymore!" Lisa said as she hit the table with both of her hands.

"What are you whining about? I'm having dinner with you right now aren't I?" Jennie said but not looking at Lisa as she was busy texting.

"Yeah, but your attention is there" Lisa said while pointing at Jennie's phone.

Jennie playfully rolled her eyes at Lisa. Sometimes she feels like she's bestfriends with a 7-year old kid.

"Look, I'm just sending Jisoo a reply then we can start catching up, okay?"

Lisa rolled her eyes. She and Jennie used to always eat lunch together except for days when Jennie's with a client, she's in an event, or if she's stuck in a meeting. However, the past few days, they haven't been able to eat lunch together because Jennie would always eat lunch with Jisoo.

"Jisoo Jisoo Jisoo. Always about Jisoo. I know the bet is important to you Unnie, but is it really more important than your best friend?" Lisa sat back pouting

Jennie was about to answer and comfort her best friend when a familiar figure caught their attention

"Jennie! Lisa! Hey!" The guy who is now standing beside their table greeted rather excitedly

"Oh hey Mino! What are you doing here?" Jennie asked

"Oh, I just finished dinner with my dad, I was on my way out when I heard Lisa's whiny voice and when I looked it was you guys" Mino said grinning

"Yeah she can be pretty loud is she?" Jennie said looking and Mino then looking at Lisa.

"Why are you even whining Lisa?" Mino asked the girl curiously

"It's because Jennie Unnie doesn't have time for me anymore Oppa" Lisa said while pouting

Mino raised his brow at confusion. He used to court Jennie before but the girl said she wasn't looking for a serious relationship and she didn't want to taint their friendship so he stopped and agreed to just be friends. But even before he was making a move on the girl, and asking her out on dates, she would always, always bring Lisa. They were inseparable. And Jennie not having time for Lisa anymore seems a bit odd and unusual.

"Woah! That is kinda hard to believe Lisa. Why is that?" Mino asked eagerly waiting for an answer

"It's not true" Jennie scoffed

"Yes it is!" Lisa rebutted

"Okay okay, enough bickering you two! Lisa, you still haven't answered my question" Mino intervened.

"It's because of some stupid bet"

"What bet?" Mino raised his brow even further

"We made a bet about making this girl fall for Jennie Unnie within in a month. If she wins I'll be her slave for one month and if I win, she'll be my slave for one month" Lisa explained

"Woah. One month? I bet Jennie can do it in a day or two. So is Lisa your slave already Jennie-ah? Is that why Lisa is being so whiny?" Mino let out a small laugh.

"It's not about the bet" Jennie said seriously which made Mino frown

"Yeah but you're always with her" Lisa said still pouting making Mino even more furious

He was about to ask another question when his phone rang. He answered his phone only to hear his dad on the other line. His dad said he was waiting for him since earlier outside. Mino wanted to ask Jennie and Lisa more questions but he knew he had to leave. He shook his head before saying goodbye to the two girls.

"As much as I don't want to cut this short, I'd have to go. My dad is waiting for me outside. It was nice seeing you Jennie and Lisa" Mino flashed both the girls a smile.

"Nice seeing you too, Oppa! It's been a while" Lisa smiled at the guy while waiving her arms

"Keep me updated about your bet alright?" Mino chuckled but deep inside he really wanted to know more and be in the loop

"Aish! Stop making it like it's such a big deal" Jennie frowned

Mino took a step forward so he could pat Jennie's back "I'll see you again soon Jennie-ah" then he flashed Jennie a smile.

"Mhmm. Nice seeing you too Mino" Jennie returned the smile.

As soon as Mino left, Lisa wiggled her brows to tease her best friend

"He still likes you" she said while poking the other girl's arm

"Lisa" Jennie said firmly and seriously which made Lisa sit up straight. She knows Jennie is going to say something serious where her tone is like that.

"I want to cancel the bet"
