chaewon was saying something sweet to y/n and y/n is blushing; the two latter were on their way for their date. it's been a month since they don't date because of chaewon busy schedule. y/n usually would stay and wait for chaewon to come home to she would cuddle with her.
now they both got to have time together on a weekend; they both were so happy and no words can describe how happy chaewon got to be with her girlfriend.
chaewon was busy staring at her girlfriend's side profile instead of focusing on driving; she was smiling sweetly at her girlfriend's gorgeous features but not until her girlfriend shouted.
''chaewon, watch out!!"
just when chaewon eyes focus on the road, flying towards them making their car flipping to the side.

"ugh..." chaewon groan and hold her head. she noticed blood as she wide her eyes and look at her side; y/n wasn't beside her. "y/n?" she becomes panicked and quickly try open the seatbelt to find y/n.
"y/n-ah..." chaewon called y/n who was bleeding badly - y/n was flipped out and got a serious injury more than chaewon.
chaewon crawled to y/n and carefully embrace her. she was shocked to see her girlfriend's condition. she was unconscious.
"please, don't leave me...'' she begs. she put her ear on her girlfriend's chest; her heartbeat starts to beat slowly.
"no no no y/n! hold on please!!" chaewon cry her heart out, she was afraid to lose her. "the ambulance will come here soon! please hold on!" she tears up and hugs her tight.
her eyes become heavy because she loses a lot of blood and slowly passes out.
- timeskip • chaewon pov -
"uhh..." i rubbed my eyes. where the hell am I?
"ouch fuck" i touch my injured body. glad i'm not paralyzed. i look around me; the nurses and doctors were busy with their patients.
my thoughts suddenly got interrupted when i remember y/n.
"y/n..." i mumbled her name.
"where's y/n??!" i was about to get out of my bed when the nurse blocked me. she push me to stay on the bed while i was struggling to push her away.
"miss, you need to rest!" she said.
"i don't care! i need to see y/n! she's more important!'' i managed to push her and run as fast as i can - even my leg got injured. i don't care at all. i just want to see y/n if she's fine or not.
"can i s-see j-jeong y/n?'' i asked.
"room 33-"
i run and burst into her room.
"Y/N?!' i yelled out her name.
i look at her - she was laying on the bed; pale and unconscious. she haven't gotten up? oh no...
"no..." i caress her face. she got a slight cut on her forehead, both cheeks, and lips. "what have i done...'' i tear up.
"mianhae... y/n-ah...'' i hug her tight. glad i could hear her heartbeat again.
i waited for her to wake up for one hour and she still wouldn't wake up. i glance at the clock; it shows 12 midnight.
"midnight" i mumbled as i put y/n in the wheelchair carefully and put a soft pillow on her head to make her comfortable.
i cover her small body with her jacket and her blanket then i bring her outside of the hospital.
i inhaled and exhaled the fresh air outside. i continue to push y/n in the wheelchair while smiling slightly.
"we wouldn't end up laying on the bed in the hospital if i focused on the road earlier. i'm such a fucking dumbass"
"c-chaewon?"
i heard her call me as i kneel in front of her and smile widely when i see her face.
"glad you're still alive!'' she pulls me for a hug but then she hissed in pain because of her bruised arm.
"aww poor my baby" i pouted.
"WAIT" she stares at me like she has seen something terrifying. then she hits her ears in repeat.
"WHY I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING?! CHAEWON?!" she wailed her heart out. "I COULDN'T HEAR MY VOICE EITHER!!"
my smile faded when she said that. she looks so desperate to know an answer from me. i can't stand seeing her being like this. tears flowed down my cheeks as she put her both hands on my shoulder.
"CHAEWON-AH?! SAY SOMETHING! I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING!!!'' she shouted.
i don't know what to say and just stare at her and let my tears flow down. i bit my lower lips to hold myself from crying harder.
"CHAEWON!!! SAY SOMETHING!!" she tears up and shakes me.
''CHAEWON-AH IT'S SO QUIET I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING!! PLEASE HELP ME I'M SCARED!!'' she cried out loud.
i hug her softly, caressing her back, and cry with her. "mianhae y/n-ah..."
"CHAEWON!!!"
i look at her face and point at her ears.
"you. can't. hear. anything. anymore. you're. deaf." i talk slowly hoping she could read my lips.
"N-NO..." she hits her ears.
"NO NO NO NO NO!!!" she hits her ears till it becomes red as i stop her from hitting her ears by hugging her tight.
"i'm sorry y/n-ah... it's my fault"
- two years later • chaewon pov -
"i love you, y/n'' i whispered and peck her lips. she smiled and peck my lips back.
'good night and dream about me' i said while showing her a hand sign as she giggled and nodded.
'i will' she made a hand sign to reply.
i giggled and close my eyes while hugging her.
- y/n pov -
i stare at chaewon who was sleeping peacefully in my arm. how can she still love me? she got a deaf girlfriend. i'm a such burden to her.
i hope i can hear your voice again but i can't. i'm already deaf...
missing her voice was a habit of mine after i got deaf. i miss hearing her voice; she would sing my favorite song to me at night.
'i hope you'll find someone else who are better than me' i whispered. i close my eyes as i felt a pair of lips touch mine. i open my eyes and saw chaewon smiling sadly at me.
'i already told you. don't think like that again anymore' she shows a hand sign and bumps her nose with mine.
'i love you forever. remember that' she said.
'i'm so sorry if i'm not the perfect girlfriend that you want' i tear up.
'no. you're already perfect' she makes a hand sign and wipes my tears. 'now let's don't think about that again shall we? let's sleep instead!' she makes a sign as i nodded and smiled.
she pulls me for a kiss and put me on her chest. she hugs me as my lips curved a small. she knows to make me feel loved and better. i shouldn't think like that anymore.
