I sat back in my seat, I'd be shooting a music video today with Jay. An upcoming artist was going to be in the video with him but honestly I had everything written out and I'd kind of be relaxing it was more of a rehearsal day.
The woman came up to introduce herself to me. She was very very beautiful.
"Hi I'm Nicki," she held her hand out to shake my hand.
"I'm Beyoncé," I went to shake her hand back.
"Trust me I know who you are," she gave me a shy smile and her dimples showed. There was something about her that drew me to her. I'd definitely be watching her.
Rehearsal started and we got some shots that we would use in the music video. Since we started around 8 it was getting really late around now. I didn't want to go home , my husband was cheating on me and he thinks I don't know but I do and I rather just stay somewhere else without causing commotion.
"Bey you ready to dip," Jay came around to me and kissed my cheek. I felt nothing when he did.
"I think I'm going to stay," I said what was on the top of my head
"Why?"
"Um," I looked around and saw Nicki packing up
"I have to help Nicki out with some of the choreography,"
Nicki looked over at me because she heard her name.
"Ight shorty well you want me to wait?"
"Nah I'm good Jay don't worry, I'll find my way home,"
"Okay," he tried to kiss my lips but I moved my head and only let him kiss my cheek
"What's up wit you Bey? Give me a kiss," he began to grow more aggressive. I didn't have the patience tonight.
"Jay please get off of me," I tried to stand from my chair but he stood over me
"I said get OFF Jay," I pushed him away from me
"Listen Bey gon help me with my choreography so maybe you should go," Nicki began to speed walk to where I was and walked in front of me
Jay laughed. "You a lucky bitch tonight," he spat then walked away, he left the place we were in.
I exhaled almost as if I was relieved. I looked over at Nicki.
"Thank you," I tried to hold back my tears because I hated being seen crying.
"You really don't deserve that," she looked back at me
"Yeah well it doesn't matter," I looked away from her "you're free to leave," I turned around and grabbed my jacket from my chair
"Come with me," she said, "just for the night," she slid her hand into mine
"Nicki you don't have t-"
"I'm taking you somewhere, you don't have a chose,"
"Okay okay fine," I smiled and I followed her out the door, "how are we getting there?" I asked as I followed her
"Put your hood on, and ion got it as nice as you or Jay but I have my own car,"
I put my hood on and followed her to her car.
"Here," she gave me some sunglasses and helped me fix up my hoodie "You got some sweats?"
"I haven't worn sweats in years," I confessed, I know it sounds like I'm boujee but things have really changed for me.
"Here let me grab you some. I don't need people mobbing us cause I'm with the famous yonce," she joked and gave me some sweat pants
I looked around, looking for somewhere for me to change, she looked at me and laughed "baby you can change right here,"
"Oh," god I was so embarrassed, I slid my jeans off and I looked over at her and she just looked at me
"Nicki," i looked at her
"What? You look good that's all," she didn't look away though
I put the sweat pants on
"Can I kiss you?" She asked out of no where
"You tryna get a kiss already?" I smiled and pulled my phone out to see jay blowing me up. My smiled fell and my mood changed, as Nicki was driving she realized something was off.
"What's wrong?" She glanced down at my phone and she must've saw me scrolling through his messages
"Listen, you're with me right now," she shut my off and her hand fell in mine
"That nigga don't deserve you," she focused on the rode, "at least not the way I do," she murmured the last part but I still heard and I blushed just a little.
"Where are we going?" I asked
"When's the last time you had a burger and some milkshakes?" She answered me with a question
"Not in a long time, I'm on this diet and I can't eat-"
"Come on we're going to my favorite burger joint," she pulled into a parking lot of this place called Sonny's. It was 1:30 am so it was pretty empty.
"Do you not listen to what I say?" I looked over at her
"I hear you loud in clear , you haven't a burger in years I'm sure you can use one," she kissed my cheek real close to my lips
"Come on," she began to unbuckle her seat belt but I stopped her
I grabbed her arm and pulled her into me, I kissed her lips.
Ugh she gave me this feeling that I haven't felt in a long time. I've never kissed a girl before. I was afraid of what people would say. But I felt safe with Nicki. Like I could be myself.
"Looks like I got my kiss huh," she smiled
"Mhm you could get another one too," I looked into her eyes
She has a terrible poker face because she could help but smile. She put her hand on my neck just to rub me.
"Come on let's get something to eat," she unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car and I did the same. She put her hand out and we walked into Sonny's.
"Hey fammm," she walked in and hugged this man.
"Nickiiii, what you doin here so late? We about to close,"
"Well I had to bring my friend here so she could try the best burgers in town, could you pleaseee spare a couple minutes to make us some burgers, fries and two shakes?"
"Mmm just cause you family," he looked behind Nicki and saw me, "who's this friend of yours?"
"Hi I'm Bey," I put out my hand so he could shake it
"We're huggers," he brought me close and pulled me into a hug, "she didn't kidnap you did she?" He asked once we split from the hug
"No, no" I laughed "I actually got in her car willingly,"
"She wanted to come with me okay?" Nicki joined in the conversation and then got us a seat.
We just spoke for a while and ate. Something about her energy felt so familiar, she felt like home. We were talking all night, when I checked the time it was 3:30.
"Ugh Nicki I have work tomorrow, I have to go on soon"
"Do you wanna go home? Or you could stay at my house for the night?"
I knew that it'd be smart for me to go home but I wanted to be with her.
"With you,"

"I know it's not too fancy but here it is, I can pull out some clothes for you and you can take a shower if you'd like," the decor of her house was nice it was honestly so creative and I loved that.
I ended up taking a shower and so did she. She left me some shorts and a white tee.
"Hi," she said once she came into her room, I was already laying down in her bed.
"Hi, your bed is very comfortable,"
"I'm glad you think that," she smiled and got into the bed with me, we were under the blankets facing eachother
"You make me feel like a teenager," I laughed and placed me hand on her thigh
"Your voice is so cute, your lil Texas accent comes out when you're tired," she smiled and rubbed me
"I like the way you talk too,"
"Mmhm,"
We laid in silenced, just looking at each other and rubbing each other. My eyes began to close slowly.
"Goodnight beautiful," she set a kiss on my forehead
"Wait," I was dozing off but I wanted a kiss on my lips, I pulled her into me and kissed her lips. Gently.
Then I turned around and laid close to her. I grabbed her hand and set it inside of my shorts.
"Oh," she sounded surprised
I haven't enjoyed intimacy is so long
She cuddled with me and I fell asleep.
